Hughes is a super host! We have the wonderful time on last stop of our trip. He house is spacious and fully equipped. He and his partners gave us a wonderful experience in the farm with guided tour on how to make cream and cheese. His kids are nice and friendly too! We highly recommend his house and we definitely will stay here again!

We stayed in the farm, watched and tried feeding pigs, cows, chicks and ducks. Also, on thr last day, one baby cattle was born. Mr Hugues is very nice, my son likes him so much. He shares all the ways of a farmer's life to my son. Caring barn animals, cutting grass, milking and selling Milk products. Great experience for children.

The house and location were ideal, in the countryside and very quiet There had been a little misunderstanding on the number of people in our group, the fault was mine, but Hugues very quickly resolved the problem. The description of the house and facilities and photos were accurate. The children in particular loved the property and looking at the cattle. pigs and chickens we would stay here again and would recommend the house to anyone staying in this area

Hugues made my family and I feel so welcome! He was a fantastic host. The gite was beautiful with a modern and very clean interior - exactly as described. The neighbourhood was very pretty and quiet. The gite is situated right in the middle of Hugues farm. Hugues invited us to milk the cowes, and take a tractor ride! My 4 year old son collected eggs from the chickens. We were also shown around the whole farm and shown how the milking process worked, followed by how they made cheese, butter and yoghurt - amazing! There is a small shop on site where you can buy the farm products. We bought plenty! I celebrated my birthday at Hugues farm and he surprised me with a homemade tart - it was delicious! Nearby city Arras is a must visit - it is very beautiful. We also visited Disneyland Paris, which was only a 2 hour drive away. Next time we visit we plan to pop into Belguim as the border is very close. I cannot fault our host or accommodation in any way - we had a truly amazing time staying on Hugues farm. I would highly recommend a visit. Thank you Hugues and Remmy!

The location on the farm is isolated but beautiful and the drive to Calais is an easy one. Hugues was very friendly and excellent at responding to messages. The house was clean and had all the required basic amenities. The interior did require some repair in places.

Hugues was a fantastic host, very helpful and accommodating, he even picked up information on our final destination, could not ask for more! Very good communication. The gite is perfectly suited to a family of 6, is in a beautiful location, and has all the amenities you would expect. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay on the farm. It made a good stopover enroute to Disney. The apartment was lovely and very clean but windows had to be kept shut for the flies. The stairs were a bit tricky - no way was our suitcase going up there. It's more of a ladder than stairs. But adds to the charm too. We bought fresh milk and pudding from the farm shop which was lovely. The kids enjoyed watching the milking etc. Sadly we picked up a stomach bug somewhere (possibly kids not washing hands after being in the barn) and 3 out of 5 of us suffered with acute gastro for the next 5 days at Disney. Just unlucky! Hughes was a warm and friendly host.

Greeted with a smile by Sabine, despite our late arrival, we had a great night in this modern apartment, in a country setting. Everything is clean and new, very well equipped, from the pre-filled to the espresso machine refrigerator. In the morning croissants waiting for us ... I did not meet Arnaud in person (got the keys from two of his friends), but he responded quickly to text messages and was friendly and accommodating. The place was nice and quiet.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten im alten Zentrum von Douai. Tolles Apartment im Dachgeschoss. Der Vermieter, Arnaud, ist immer per Telefon erreichbar, was in unserem Fall wirklich von Vorteil war. Er ist sehr zuvorkommend und die Kommunikation mit ihm gestaltete sich sehr unkompliziert.

Très bon accueil, Arnaud est disponible pour répondre à toutes questions. L'appartement est vraiment génial avec le charme des fermes en bois apparente s. Très bon séjour.

Super séjour à Douai grâce à Céline et à Emir. La chambre est aussi confortable que dans un hôtel, avec la convivialité en plus ! Près de bars et de commerce, le quartier est toutefois calme, ce qui était idéal pour moi, car je passais un concours. C'est le meilleur rapport-qualité prix que j'ai eu depuis que je fais du Airbnb.

Difficulty locating the apartment as it was inside a complex. Room wasn't ready when we got their, our booking could not be found. After much waiting and searching we eventually got into our room.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. I'd recommend the Japanese restaurant which is very close. Good value and clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen. Lovely garden and paved area.

The reception was very warm, the rooms are spacious and true to pictures. It is a perfect place to rest and take a few days for himself.
