We spent a night in the little house of Sarah. The charming, clean, 40 minutes from Pisa. Our daughter loved the turtles that were walking in the garden, and small fish. Sara thank you for your welcome :) Our only regret is not having had time to eat pizza in the Sara restaurant that were right next door, it smelled very good, maybe next time :)

Although for some reason we were unexpected - the appartment was available and we could stay for the two nights we had booked. Marco & his family were delightful hosts & took great care to ensure we had a perfect stay at the beautiful villa in the olive groves. It really is a very special and tranquil place, - the apartment is ideal for a family of four & beautifully furnished, but please note - there is no pool on the property although it is listed as having one. This Airbnb experience was really amazing. Amazing will even not cover the whole experience. Everything was just more then perfect. The location of the house is just beautifull, on a hill between the olive trees with a view you can't even imagine. The house itself is amazingly restored from an old farmhouse to a very beautifull house with an additional entry built for the guests. Every tiny detail of the house is taken care off and this results in a very cosy house with nice painted walls, beautifull stares, a very nice wooden floor, 2 perfectly sized bedrooms and to finish the whole experience with a 10+: a very beautifull and modern bathroom with a rainshower. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools you expect in a kitchen. Outside there is a huge grass field which is reserved to use for the guests and a very nice terrace with an anti-insect curtain. They even created a second terrace with lounge chairs and an hammock in which you can relax and enjoy the fabolous view over the valley. The family Tabani is way beyond friendly. The presentation of the house for the guests is amazing. At arrival, they made a very delicious fruit plate for us with a bottle of wine. What more you wish for! The help from the family to visit some places nearby was very welcome. The kindness of them made the experience even better. The breakfast is just amazing. We chose the sweet breakfast. The quality is better then most expensive hotel breakfasts. Very fresh products (some even from their own garden), croissants just from the oven and freshly made marmalade. Warm sweet pie with marmalade and chocolate croissants from which the chocolate was still warm. You can imagine the joy of getting out of bed every morning and see the perfectly laid table. The house is located just between Lucca and Firenze which is a very good location if you want to visit both cities. The beach is also quite nearby at a 40 minutes drive. Overall it is quite hard to describe this amazing experience in words. You really have to stay at this house and enjoy the hospitality of the family Tabani and enjoy everything the house offers. At the end we even stayed one day extra because we didn't want to leave! Thank you again for everything. Our 2-year old daughter had an amazing time and felt really at home which gave us some rest too! We definately will return anytime soon.

Host was great and very kind. Everything was exactly the same as in description. I definately recommend that place because you can rest there with any problem. There are also very beautiful places near Collodi. If I ever visit Tuscany once more I will try to stay in Il Campano :)

Do not miss this wonderful place among olive trees. We were greeted like family. Our hostess is attentive, and a rare kindness. Accommodation is perfect and beyond our expectations. I recommend the breakfast offered surcharge for 6 euros, worthy of 4 stars. A bath jaccusi after a day trip to Lucca is pure pleasure. Go quickly there you will not be disappointed. We loved it.

We spent a wonderful varied week in Martas Villa. The house is very nicely furnished and the kitchen well equipped. It is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Around the house little rabbits, which our dog very interesting found! In direct neighborhood there are only a few houses, so it is very quiet. The main street and the next town are only a few minutes' drive away. The location of the villa is ideal for numerous activities. Lucca is only 15 km away and also Pisa and Florence are easy to reach. We made nice trips to the surrounding places and towns, walks and were close to Pisa on a great natural beach. Marta is a very nice hostess, we unfortunately did not know personally, but the contact with us during the entire stay, to ensure that everything is to our satisfaction. For any problems on the spot (which did not exist) and also for the key handover, the nice neighbor Maddalena was at our disposal. Many thanks to Marta for her beautiful house, to Maddalena for the warm welcome and farewell as well as to the neighbors for the delicious cherries and the beautiful bouquet of roses! We can only recommend the accommodation!

Ms. Marta and her husband are really very kind, I stayed for 3 nights with friends and we had a great time. The house as photos, clean, spacious and with everything you need to cook, I have been there for Lucca comics but its location and strategic position makes it suitable also to visit other cities such as Pisa, Empoli, Livorno, Florence and Prato .

Our stay in Marta's cottage was great, it was all convenient for a couple and 2 children. The lovely view and the peaceful environment was really a must.It was perfectly located to go and visit Florence, Sienne, Pise and all the Tuscan landscape and also to have nice moments at the beach. I strongly recommended it if you want to have a great journey in Tuscany and thanks to the hosts for their kindness.

We enjoyed a lot our stay. The house is really nice and comfortable. The landscape from the house is lovely. Tuscany is a beautiful region. It's easy to take train from Pescia to visit Lucca, Pisa, Firenze...We didn't meet Marta but she kept in touch during our stay, she was very nice and attentive. I really recommend this place !

The stay at Marta's place was wonderful. We weren't able to meet but the communication was excelent. I met Maddalena - lady who takes care of the guests when Marta isn't available. She didn't speak a word english but we somehow managed to understand each other very well. She was just lovely and warm as well as Marta's husband Claudio. The villa wad also very well equiped end the nature surrounding it was breathtaking. I reccomend Marta's villa cos its incredibly close to Pisa, Lucca, shore etc. I stayed there with my boyfriend and another couple and all of us agreed we'd come back without hesitation. So 10/10 for Marta and her villa.

We loved the family and the environment. We can speak only in " the most ". We got many experiencies and storys. Aldo Pappa was very amazing and Lapo was the best " bambino " have we ever met before. We wanted to be there forever and it's sure that we go again next summer. The flat was so clean and very equipment and the village was near. Annalena was very flexible and answered all the questions what we had. Grazie mille everything!

We had a wonderful time at Anna's place! The surrounding Tuscan countryside is blissfully peaceful and so quiet that we were able to leave the windows open at night to enjoy the cool country air. I used the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate app on my phone to communicate with Anna and it worked very well for sending messages back and forth. The upstairs apartment we had was pristinely clean and Anna had thought of supplying literally EVERYTHING to make our stay more comfortable: from house slippers and robes, to lotions and soaps, toothbrushes, a fully equipped kitchen, and all kinds of delicious coffees and teas. I would happily live there forever, if I could! A rental car is definitely necessary due to the remote location of the place, but if you have rented one, please don't hesitate for a second to stay at Anna's place!

You know you had a great vacation when your 8 years old asks, at end of your stay, "can we move and live here?". Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our 8 days stay at Analena's place. From the well thought details of the house (bedding and linens were better than those one finds at most 5 stars hotels), to the hamocs in the yard ,the little swimming pool, the playing field,the fresh fruits from the garden, the donkey "Gino" and the horsie, the family's two dogs and the duckies ; and most of all the adorable Lapo (Anna's two years old who loved the company of our two daughters. we were really lucky to have found an authentic Tuscana home, made so much more enjoyable by a great friendly host family. We arrived on a Saturday evening after a 4 hours drive from Rome with three kids (hence a bit tired), and were welcomed by being invited to a surprise birthday party Anna organized for a friend. With luggage still in trunk, we partied (until after midnight), tasted great food,drinks and had some friendly conversations with guests (with bits of English and Spanish) that ended with exchanging e-mails, as if we were part of the village scene. The "Meastro" of the farm Aldo- Anna's dad- insisted on showing us and the kids his fruit orchards with no common language other than his pride in his work and our love of fresh fruits. Franco, Anna's husband is one of the friendliest people we ever met and so caring, that when our daughter had a high fever on a week-end he offered some medication to control temperature and arranged for a pediatrician's appointment for a Monday morning and insisted on attending the visit to the Dr. to help translate and kept checking until our daughter got better, a few days later. I rarely write reviews (especially this long), but this is the least I could offer in appreciation for a great, one in a lifetime vacation experience. Annalena, Franco,Aldo and all...THANK YOU.

What a nice place for a holiday! We ( family with 2 kids, 7 and 5 years old) were very charmed by the hospitality and kindness of Annalena and her family! The house is very clean and well equipped. The delicious tiramisu and wine we found in the kitchen at our arrival in Collodi brought us immediately in and Italian mood. We loved the huge garden with the swimming pool and picknick tables, the lake with the turtles, fish and herons, the horse and the donkey, the fruit trees with delicious peaches, prunes, pears,... and the silence of the site. Ideal base to visit beautiful places like Florence, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano,... but also the sea and the mountains. There were a lot of festivities in Collodi and the surrounding villages during of our stay which was also nice. We definitely recommend this place and hope to see Annalena and here family again!

One word about the house and hostess: Amazing. Very welcoming, very comfortable, with many little attention like an home made Tiramisu, some bottle of beer and wine in the fridge.

This place is so good I wish we could keep it a secret. Icilio is a fantastic host, and you could not hope for a better place to stay in Tuscany, and we've stayed in lots. The views are stunning and the village is incredibly picturesque. The pool is fantastic and there are shops just 5 mins drive away. We will definitely be returning soon. 10/10

We loved this place, The home was comfortable and very clean. Loved the outdoor area with its abundance of grass, beautiful pool area, stunning views and alfresco dining areas. Hosts were very accommodating and made check in very easy. We arrived at 7PM on the first night and the hostess made a reservation at a local restaurant for us. A great place to relax and unwind.

Nous avons passé deux semaines inoubliables, c'est magnifique, calme et reposant, il y a de très belles promenade a faire sur place, c'est un village perché sur une colline parsemé d'oliviers et d'arbustes. Et c'est aussi très bien placé pour visiter la toscane et les cinq terres,(Pise, Florence, san Gimignano, Sienne, etc...)vous serez au milieu de tout. Enfin bref nous recommandons ce logement, nous étions 3 adultes et 2 ados et on était très a l'aise.

Paula was a very nice and anxious hostess. It was important for them also that it does not interfere or harassed us in our holiday. Our children were all very comfortable. The house I would classify as a typically Italian. An experience is the driveway to the house. Who has a lowered car, or even a very wide car, you should check in advance whether it fits through the dirt road to the small settlement. But down each of the path has white: Here the rest must be that one wishes for the holidays! Paula has rounded our vacation with a true Italian breakfast: A tray full cornetti, filled with cream, ricotta, cioccolato etc. Very, very tasty! Mille Grazie!

We were at Paula's house two families with three young children. We stayed at collodi to visit the Pinocchio Park, we went to Lucca and Pisa! The location of the house is great for all of these movements, but not in the village but in the countryside ... and it's a wonderful place !! I must say that the photos, very beautiful, do not do what the beauty of the house and the beautiful garden with swimming pool !!! The rooms very nice bed and the floor very welcoming to spend days at home, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space and the beauty of being able to light the fireplace !!! The pool is gorgeous and hope to return in the summer to fully exploit it !!! The children were delighted to be able to stay in nature !!! In short, everything perfect !!! Een prachtig huis, schoon en goed onderhouden. In een rustige omgeving temidden van olijven en druiven. Warme ontvangst door Federico, ook gedurende het verblijf zorgde hij dat alles netjes bleef en het zwembad schoon, zonder dat we in onze privacy gestoord werden. Wanneer we een vraag hadden, reageerde hij heel adequaat. We vonden het heerlijk dat het zwembad en de tuin helemaal voor ons privé waren. Warm aanbevolen!

Superb stay! Promise announced the appointment, host availability, close to several major cities in Tuscany. A swimming pool on top with good weather! Very clean and welcoming our host!

Giovanna welcomed us to the home in the afternoon of our arrival, as did her dogs! She gave us a 4G wifi accesspoint to browse the internet and showed us around the place, giving us information on places to eat and local supermarkets. The garden and pool area are secluded, the main house is just off a mainroad. Lucca, Pisa, Carrara are closeby, Florence or Cinque Terre about 80km or an hour drive away.

Very nicely designed, newly renovated rooms. We were welcomed and cared very nice. The breakfast is typically Italian (simple but delicious) every morning were specially brought fresh croissants. On the farm there for the guests even a fridge and a washing machine. The location is outside, but perfect to visit different places (eg Lucca). One needs a car is essential and above must be aware that you drive quite a lot if you want to see different places. Important: you should be able to give accurate directions from Giada (the stored address to Airbnb is wrong, about 2.5 km away).

Giada did everything to make us feel welcome and feel at home. She made dilicious meals as well! Dougther of just one year old had a great time with all the animals.

Viviana and her family are great people, very friendly and helpful. On the arrival which was also the birthday of my fiancé they invited us to drink a bottle of prosecco with them and made a reservation at a very good restaurant nearby. I think without their call we wouldn't have gotten a table at this night. The accommodation is cozy, clean, bright and quit new renovated. They clean the pool and the garden area everyday. You can also have fantastic homemade Italian lunch and dinner if you want (on reservation). I highly recommend this place

This was such a beautiful place to rest and be in nature, especially after the crowds of Rome and Florence. We slowed down, swam in the pool, took walks on the grounds, read and played in the garden, ate fruits straight from the tree, and dined across the street at the delicious restaurant. Candida and her family are available and helpful with anything needed. Bring pool towels if you plan to swim, as they are not provided. Overall, I highly recommend and will be back!

We had a wonderful time thanks to the home of Candida. The area is charming and friendly, a real piece of paradise. Conveniently located just a few kilometers of the most beautiful Tuscan sites. Candida is a passionate hostess who does not hesitate to make you discover its lands and productions. Do not miss the restaurant located right next to the area, the food is good, and you will be warmly welcomed.

We had a wonderfull Time at Candidas Place. The whole estate ist very nice (Rooms where simple but comfortable, Pool was always clean, beautiful scenery). Nice little Restaurant on the other side of the street as well as a very good slow food restuarant on top of the hill. Close to Lucca and Firenze! Try the homemade wine and olive oil!

Beautiful vintage Bnb in Tuscany. Candida met me at the train station at short notice and drove me the short distance to the Bnb. Such warmth and history in the rooms, buildings and countryside. Breakfast was simple but ready when I needed it as I was working early each day. Lovely little Italian restaurant right across the road too ... Perfect. The Marzalla agriturissmo was the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy a good time by the pool, eat great food, feel welcome and see some of the beatiful cities of Tuscany. Candida gave us a warm welcome, and told us aboutsome of the great palces to see. The room we lived in was so beatiful and tastefully decorated, and there was a nice terasse were we could eat our lunch. Breakfast was served by such a sweet girl, and across the street was a restaurent were very nice people made delicious tuscan food for great prices - we really recommend that you try this place two. We also get to meet Candidas husband as well, who was just as nice as everyone else. Overall the experience of staying here was fantastic. Well what can I say? The house is fantastic , rural charm in a modern style, with an attention to detail only the Italians can do. We travelled with 5 in the family. Myself wife and three children aged 5 , 8 and 10. The pool is amazing and gave the kids constant entertainment. You are 30 mins to Florence and Pisa and 15 mins to Lucca. We enjoyed days in Pescia and Collodi at the amazing gardens and Parc de Pinocchio. It was so good to have Francesco onsite, his English is excellent and the family are so nice. Ducks, goats, chickens and dogs were a real extra. The jacuzzi bath meant we had our own day spa too! What a place, views of the hills and everything on our doorstep. You must try the pizza from the local restaurant Al Covo, if you find better please tell me. The best family holiday we have ever had , and we have travelled all over the world. Brilliant, and for the money a true bargain. I couldn't recommend staying here anymore. 5 stars
