Comfortable place, a pleasant walk away from campus.

This is a nice room, with a bathroom next to it. Check-in was easy and smooth and the bed comfortable. There's room in the closet to hang clothes and overall it was great. Becca provided me with a towel and washcloth, which was nice as I hadn't packed either. Becca has a few friendly cats, too, FYI. The best part was the location. There's a bus stop literally a minute from the apartment, and the bus will take you right to campus for $1 one-way; the bus ride is about 15 minutes from there. So it's especially convenient if you're visiting the university, as I was. It's also about a 30-minute walk to campus.

A great experience! The apartment was new, clean and spacious... stocked with everything a guest might need. The host was very prompt when responding to inquiries and accommodating at check-in when my flight was delayed. The location is very close to UIUC, restaurant, bars and shopping. Parking and building security added to the conveniences. The beds were firm but provided a good night's sleep as it felt similar to my memory foam mattress. Noise level was normal to what you would find at any hotel or apartment with multiple occupants. Wifi worked great! I was easily able to access my Netflix account on the TV. Thank you!

Place was great! Was not expecting such a nice, clean, and spacious space! Towels, shower wash, utensils, and cooking ware were provided. However, the mattress is just a pad, so it was not the most comfortable bed to sleep in. But for the price and size, it is manageable.

We had such a great stay at Samuel's place! It was really close to everything, impeccably clean, super spacious, and just all around wonderful. I could easily see staying here much longer than just the weekend we were here. It was awesome and we would highly recommend it!

This place was excellent. It was incredibly clean and had all sorts of unexpected amenities: shampoo, dishes, dish soap, a washer and dryer, detergent. The staff was incredibly friendly, flexible, and easy to work with. Location is close to both campus and downtown Champaign. I can't recommend it enough!

Tim was an exceptionally great host; he was very communicative, responsive and helpful! He provides snacks/drinks that were such a nice and useful touch. The location was great; we walked almost everywhere we went. There is a basketball court and playground a little over a block away that our teen son spent much of his time at! Parking gets busier during college hours, but Tim graciously offered us his driveway if needed- so it wasn't an issue. The apartment is very spacious and fit myself, my husband, and two of our children with no problem! It's a cute space with clean furnishings, not super fancy, but its reasonably priced- which is just what we were looking for. The area was very quiet as well, which was a plus since it is a downtown location. The place is still new to Airbnb so there were a few quirks that, I believe, Tim was working on. All in all- it worked out well for us!

All was fine. We barely saw the guy ; he was an agent for a local real estate company that rents out property to short time visitors. We had one issue with a key and that got resolved in five minutes after calling him. That was nice. Other than that, the property was in good shape and easily accommodates many people. Parking is available, which was great

Blake was very communicative and a thoughtful host. The place was as described and had all the amenities you could need. However, there was a strong odor of cigarettes in the living room. Also, the walls between Blake's place and the neighbors are very thin, so I could hear them throughout the evening and in the morning. Overall, good host and value for having the full place to yourself.

Comfortable place. Super close to downtown. Wish it had more amenities for people traveling light, but overall Shayna was a fine host. Her kittens are adorable (but they do shed, so beware if you're in town for work to bring a rolling brush or tape)! Overall good experience and would recommend it.

Shay was super nice and her apartment was adorable and impeccably decorated. I was able to walk everywhere in downtown Champaign within 5-10 minutes and campus (if that's where you're headed) was a $5 Lyft/Uber ride away. The kitties were extremely sweet as well. The walls were very thin though, and I was woken up two of the three nights I was there after 12:30am by several voices right outside my bedroom door. The last night, there was a (very nice) man staying in the apartment without the hostess, which was not previously discussed with me and definitely felt a little strange.

Check in is a breeze. Close to everything. Parking immediately outside of door if you have a vehicle. Walking distance to downtown. No microwave. Limited kitchenware. Cats will keep you company. And may wake you when they play in the middle of the night if you're a light sleeper. If you're looking for a home base to see champaign and to just lay your head at night, this is the place for you. If you're looking for entertainment at the apt and don't get along with cats, look elsewhere. No wifi, no cable. Great for my needs. Good value.

living environment is quite good and quiet,room is big enough for me and my wife,however the bed linen is not cleaned up that my wife do not dare to use it because we guess it seemingly no change for a period already, if it is improved ,we would like to visit again

I stayed at this listing so I could attend a Graduate School open house event at U of I. My host, Erfan, was out of town the same weekend that I stayed here, but he was very accommodating and attentive to my stay - making sure that I was able to access the apartment and checking me in. The apartment is on the northern edge of town some distance from the campus, but if you come with a rental car like me, it shouldn't be a problem. Also, it looked ad if there was a bus line on the street that fronts the apartment complex. The 2 bedroom apartment was sufficiently clean and generally quiet. The major constituent of neighbor seems to be college students. All in all, my stay was a positive experience.

Great Place

My girlfriend and I stayed at Nancy's place over the Illinois Marathon weekend. The location of the AirBnB is great. Really close to everything you need. There is off-street parking on the side of the building. The unit is big, with a kitchen, living room, dining area, a bedroom, and bathroom. The unit is definitely bigger than the images show. There weren't any amenities but the kitchen had everything you needed for cooking if you wanted to do that, and Nancy provided towels, sheets, soap and shampoo. The unit had an odor to it that was unpleasant, but I am sure Nancy can fix that for the future. Our biggest concern came with communication with the host. Nancy communicated well prior to the arrival weekend and was completely unreachable when the weekend came. The keys were suppose to be with the next door neighbor and they were unreachable as well. I emailed, messaged and called Nancy multiple times without any response. Finally, the neighbor got back to me 6 hours after my initial attempt to contact them. Overall, it is not a terrible unit. Just make sure you are able to contact Nancy and have an exact plan of getting into the unit.

Hope's Airbnb was the perfect place to stay in CU--great parking, ez Ubers, neighborhood is very quiet, the bed is incredibly comfortable and place is really "new construction" all around...top-notch! We will return for sure!!

My fiancée and I loved staying at Hope's tiny but mighty place. The place has everything you could want and everything looked brand new. The big overhead shower head was probably our favorite. Or maybe it was the big comfy bed. Either way, the place is pleasant. The yard is green and there's a big church across the street. We didn't meet Hope but she was very helpful and responsive by message. The price is very fair and we will stay here again on our next Champaign adventure.

This is a wonderful little in-law unit by the Champaign Country Club. It has an attached bathroom and a little kitchen area. We only stayed for the day but we were very comfortable and enjoying staying in this little gem. Hope provided all the necessities and was excellent in her communication with us. I highly recommend this unit and will definitely stay here again if needed.
