So very pleased we chose Ally for our (too short) stay in Trinidad. We instantly felt welcome and at ease with her and her unpretentious home, mere minutes away from the Avenue. She's there if wanted, but doesn't intrude. Room and bed comfy, with plenty of space for belongings, with access to sitting room and kitchen - and the fab dogs. Ally proved to be an excellent host, most friendly and fun to be with, a wealth of local knowledge. She clearly loves her country and is keen to share history and stories on just about anything, including its foibles. We asked Ally to be our tour guide and she put splendid effort into arranging trips to places we wanted to visit, plus pick up and drop off at the airport. As she is the keenest of birdwatchers, we got the benefit of this passion and enjoyed viewing winged creatures in greater detail than ever experienced - a true bonus! We'd be back in a flash if (or rather when) we get to sort another visit to an island that's well worth exploring and we'd choose Ally's place to stay. - hope you do. cheers

Ally's home was exactly as advertised. Perfect amount of space for our weekend away, and a great host for whatever we wanted to do. She was extremely helpful with suggestions for things to do and helping us navigate the island. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in Port of Spain!

Ally and her place were fantastic! The street was quiet and safe and the house was a very quick walk to a nightlife area with lots of great food options. The location was easy to get to. The room was spacious, the bathroom very clean, and the wifi was fast. Aly gave a lot of great advice about touring and was an excellent host.

So...Ally was simply the best host since I use Airbnb...she first come to take us at the airport (cause she was working in the area)...her place is very well located, it's quite and as it's described. Then she was so helpful with all our needs..she took us to a very nice place where we can try local food (rôti...was sooo good), she know a lot about Trinidad's culture and she took time to explain us how are "her peoples". She gaves us good advices for Carnival. Finally she helps us with our ferry problem (ferry broke down so she found solution for us). She also took us to the ferry (URL HIDDEN) as I said...the best host since I use Airbnb...if u wanna live Trinidad come to Ally's place

Crispin was extremely accommodating and a good host. The property was excellent. Just a little close to a nightclub and noisy at weekends but other than that very good.

Nice house with good location, we hired bikes for the short ride to pigeon point beach where we were kite surfing. Crispin looked out for us very nicely with good information and was also quick to respond to all enquiries, and ensured that everything worked out very smoothly. Well equipped house with lots of living space and we would have had all the facilities to have cooked if we had spent less time on the beach!

My family and I absolutely loved every second on our four night stay. Crispin and his wife were especially warm and took extra care to ensure that were were comfortable. The house is clean and very well maintained. It really is a home away from home and gave us the opportunity to live like a local with very modern conveniences. We had a wonderful experience staying at Crispin's place. The house was very cute and clean. Crispin was an extremely accommodating and attentive host. He did his best to ensure that we had everything we needed and that we knew where everything was both in the house and around Tobago. I would definitely recommend Crispin's place!

Crispin's house is very colorful which makes you feel at home. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and very spacious for 2 of us. The location is very safe and very close to the Airport and Pigeon Point beach. Essentials such as a Gas station and Grocery store are also very close by. we enjoyed our few days there and would definitely come back again because of the perfect location.

Crispin was a great host and very accommodating. The location was convenient to our daily and nightly activities. I would stay here again.

Crispin went above and beyond to check in with my wife and I to make sure we were having a great stay in Tobago. I would highly recommend staying at his place. Its a spacious 2 bedrooms, with about a 10 min walk from town and another 5 to the beach. Just a heads up, if you are taking a taxi to his place, it is very difficult to find (not quite on GPS).

The host was very welcoming, she greeted us with a warm smile and treated us as if we were family. We were then directed to our lodging where she showed us everything in the room, including the baked goods and snacks that were prepared for us. The location was perfect, quiet clean and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting by the pool listening to the numerous birds that visited the yard. This was our first experience with an Airbnb, and the host Calole made it a memorable one with her warm personality and lovely home.

The Oasis is a beautiful place to stay. I loved the pool and my wife loved the garden. Johnny ND Carole are a treat.Carole keeps everything immaculate and of extremely high quality. It is easy walking to the Savannah and vendors for local food like Doubles and shark and bake. Kelvin Ferguson is a superb driver his tours were excellent.

This was a wonderful stay! The location was perfect. It was within walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, the zoo, restaurants and local eateries at the Savanna. Both me and my mom felt safe walking around the area, we even walked to downtown Port Of Spain. The room was comfortable and it included a microwave, refrigerator and other small amenities. The grounds at the Oasis Garden was beautiful it included a one of a kind garden, a pond, pool and comfortable sitting areas. Aunt Carole was a great hostess, she made our stay even more memorable. We would definitely recommend the Oasis garden!

Upon arrival Carol greeted and welcomed me with a wonderful fruit basket, with homemade banana bread, which tasted delicious. She also stock the fridge with basic amenities, which came in very handy. Carol was also readily available to answer all questions and address any issues I may have. They made me feel at home. Will definitely visit again.

Adrian is a very reliable person, very keen to help out in order to make things work out. The room is lovely and really organised. The house and garden just outstanding. Neighbourhood very safe and relaxed. Walking distance to a supermarket and a few places to eat. Calore is amazing as the rest of the family. Difficult to find the right words to explain how well we were welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. Her wish to try to improve something already very good tells you a lot about the place where you are going to stay and what kind of people you will meet. Just wonderful.

We were able to stay at this home during our trip in Trinidad. It was in a great neighborhood and not too far from a few attractions (i.e.: botanic gardens, the zoo, etc.) and a few local markets. The house was also beautiful. If you happen to stay in Trinidad and are looking to be immersed in the city and explore, this is a great place to reside on your vacation.

Four of us spent five very short days at Villa Di Sorrisi and it was nothing short of paradise. Seriously, the photos and descriptions don't do it justice. There is plenty to do if you're looking for adventure (hiking, rainforest and waterfall tours, swimming, snorkeling, cooking up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen) and ample space to wonderfully do absolutely nothing. The porch was perfect for lounging with some local rum and enjoying a grilled mahi mahi purchased off the pier that day. The locals were friendly and the manager Carolyn and her daughter Jade made sure we wanted for nothing. They made sure we were comfortable and were quick to offer advice whenever we asked. I'd absolutely recommend taking Sarah up on the rental car, as being able to scoot around the island at will was very convenient. Dinner and a sunset in Castara or snorkeling at Englishman's Bay are a couple great examples. We traveled to Port of Spain for a few days of a wedding celebration after and we missed the splendor and pace of life at Villa Di Sorrisi the entire time. We can't wait to return.

We had an amazing time in Parlatuvier!! We were the only tourists for miles in any direction. By the end of the week we really felt like we were part of the community. Sonny (the grounds keeper) joined us for dinner one evening. Dougla (the security guard at the elementary school) became our friend, took us fishing, and hung out with us at night. And Marlene (the owner of the quick-shop) was so incredibly kind. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic, place to relax - Parlatuvier is for you!

Fantastic stay at this villa, which combines a beach front experience with a lovely deck shaded by a mango tree. We had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Thanks very much to Sarah for her thoughtful hosting.

I cannot express in words how perfect the Villa Di Sorrisi was for me and my two friends to wind down and lime after Carnival. Parlatuvier is peaceful fishing village, idyllic and chill as can be, and Sorrisi is perfectly hooked up with all the amenities you might want--on the beach, comfortable, and attentive to the traveller's needs. The drive there from the main ports is gorgeous, and it's a great jumping off point for beautiful hikes, waterfalls, and other small chill fishing towns like Castera and Charlottesville. Looking forward to returning!!

This was the best place we have stayed in Tobago (8th visit) We loved the breezy deck, the peace and quiet and the lazy pace of life.

Sarah's place is amazing!! This cottage on the beach is in an incredible location and is so spacious. We loved the deck and the huge master bedroom! The kitchen is very large and it was wonderful to walk down to the pier, buy fish from the local fisherman and cook them right there on the grill. The king size bed was very comfortable. What was truly exceptional also was Sarah's attention to detail before we ever arrived. She is an excellent communicator - providing a detailed contract, detailed directions, and even asked us to provide emergency contacts in advance of our visit. The support staff that Sarah has hired to clean and do repairs are top notch. There was a power outage before our arrival that affected a couple of circuits and the hot water but Sarah even arranged for an electrician to come out at 9:00 pm who quickly correctly the problem. The beach is a short walk out the door and a great place to swim if you don't mind the water getting deep fast - it was great for us. We can't wait to come back again and hopefully this time with friends. What a special place - it was hard to leave. Thank you Sarah for sharing your very special place!

Sarah's location made our stay in Tobago feel like paradise. We are so glad that we decided not to stay in Crown Point -- but beware the exciting/perilous drive to get there -- in the end it is more than worth it! The somewhat strange layout of the house (there is a window , which closes, between bedrooms) and many of the electrical outlets don't work, the shower is somewhat cold... none of this matters because you are staying in a laid back beachy location with a gorgeous waterfall over a 3-tiered swimming hole a short walk away. Everything you need and more!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Villa Di Sorrisi. The Villa is an absolute haven. Sarah was nothing but helpful and accommodating, we would definitely stay here again.

Tracey's was a wonderful host! She was very responsive and offered great advice on the area and where to travel. Her place was cleaner than expected, and felt very safe. She had some local beers waiting for us to sample when we got there and had even gathered a few small grocery items for us to use during our stay. The a/c worked perfectly and she even had tv and Netflix for us to watch when we weren't out exploring! Tracey responded to any every question or message I sent, always prompt and polite. About the only negative I can think of would be parking; the parking was outside on the street. But there was no real problem here, as her house is on a private dead end road with little traffic to worry about. I would recommend Tracey to anyone traveling to Trinidad, it is a wonderful alternative to a hotel and offers a more personal experience!

My daughter and I felt at home when we stayed at Tracey's accommodation. The residence is well kept and very clean and comfortable. I must admit that the lazyboy chairs was a pleasant surprise to a well furnished Living Room. The two bathrooms were another plus for us so I did not have to rush my daughter as I had my own. The neighbors are friendly and I felt safe in that part of Trinidad. Definitely one of my top picks.

I was delighted to stay at Tracey's home during the month of April. I must say Tracey was an excellent host and although not on premises, she was always a phone call away. Her home is extremely clean and convenient. The double bathroom was also a plus. She provided starter groceries which was much appreciated. Overall, her home is cozy, comfortable and safe. Tracey is an amazing host! The check-in was informative and I was given the best suggestions based on the short length of my stay. The place is clean and feels as elegant as it looks. There are two A/Cs in the house to make sure you're feel cool enough no matter where you hang out. The neighbors are very helpful and you can ask them for help if any issue arises, as Tracey will tell you. Tracey was very helpful throughout the stay by texting me how to navigate around and make the most of my trip without wasting any time. I would recommend definitely recommend this place if you're coming to visit Trinidad for a short or long stay!

My partner and I really loved Tracey's apartment. Firstly, it looks exactly as it is shown in the picture. It's really comfortable and has all the amenities we needed for our time there. We spent 12 full days there and there were no problems. With the rental, we had the entire apartment to ourselves, which was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment is very beautiful, comfortable and spacious, and Tracey was always in contact with us to ensure we had everything we needed. She was an excellent host. The apartment was 1 of 3 apartments on the compound, and all the neighbours were very warm and friendly. It was a very safe and welcoming environment. While the apartment itself is not very close to the nightlife of Port of Spain, it is perfectly placed to provide access to all that Trinidad has to offer. It's located close to public transport, but we had our own transport. It's a 30 minute drive away from the clubs and bars of Port of Spain, 15 minutes away from the beautiful Caroni Swamp tours, and 20 minutes away from scenic sites like Mt St. Benedict. Overall, the house is very comfortable, accommodating, and located in a safe and warm environment. It's located in the centrally providing easy accessibility to the night life and nature experiences that the island has to offer. The host was magnificent as she always kept in contact with us and told us about the things we can while we stayed there, but gave us all the privacy we needed. It really was a great experience. Where do I begin! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is beautiful! The added bonus was having two equally beautiful bathrooms. The kitchen was also clean. For all the internet junkies; the wifi here works perfectly and there is even wifi! In terms of getting around, there's is a couple food spots within walking distance of the house however I recommend having a vehicle to do any real traveling to tourists attractions or nightlife. I didn't have a car however Tracey was able to recommend a pleasant man to drive us to Maracas beach at a reasonable price being that it is over an hour away and luckily a friend took us out to "lime on D'ave". Tracey kept in contact with us daily to check in and give her recommendations to ensure there was never a dull moment during our stay. I certainly recommend staying here. You will not regret it! Thanks a bunch Tracey!

It is quite arduous to distinguish what was most impressive about this Air BnB. I was first dazzled by the fact that the apartment looks exactly as seen in the pictures and the beds were as comfortable as I imagined. Tracey's smile certainly warmed my heart and reminded me why I visit Trinidad so often. The location's distance away from the city worried me at first, but it was quite easy commuting to and from. Driving, especially when heading to the Avenue at night, took 15 mins. Thank you for the beers and all the other treats. Thank you for your hospitality. I fully endorse this Air Bed and Breakfast and I look forward to staying again, with certainty.

After some inconvenience with the booking via AIRBN I had a good contact and response from and with the host. We had a great welcome from the host representative. During stay some minor problems where fixed promptly. Everything what was listed was available and with 6 adults and 2 children we had a great stay in the house. 4 available bedrooms with air conditioning was good. The little inconvenience was that there was no hat rack in the bathroom, but the host promised to fix that for future guests. The environment was silent and safe, there is an 8 pack cam surveillance, good parking for 2 cars. Overall we had a luxury feeling. There was good contact with the host and his representative. Check out was flexible and good. We had a great time there. We surely recommend this house for a family or group. Thank you Kenrick

First off let me commend Kenrick on being such a awesome host!!! His communication is very throughly and strong! He made sure before, during, and after the trip that my friends and are were good throughout our stay and enjoyed Trinidad to the fullest! His home is EXACTLY as shown in the pictures! I will start off by saying what a great vacation my boyfriend and my 15 month old baby girl had..Kenrick also made our accommodation comfortable, meaning his place was very clean welcoming and relaxing he also welcome us with come refreshments and some,which I thought was very thoughtful. Neighborhood is very private and relaxing,something I look for on vacation. U can even take a quiet run in the morning or evening to site see ..electric gate to assess the driveway and I was very thankful he allowed us to invite friends and family members to visit us ..seeing my boyfriend and i are very family oriented. Overall i will definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the busy hustle and bustle from town life in Trinidad.

The welcome was done we was awesome: -Visit of the house -some races had been made for us (bread, juice, cheese ...) -Visit of the city and surroundings -make races on the first day In case of rain there is an electric dryer. The area is quiet. There is a "pastry", and other small shops near the house. moving ease.

Great experience. Flawless check in and out. Very friendly owner. The house was a lot more than we were expecting. Very clean, large and comfortable. Close to the main road and very safe and quiet neighborhood. Full equipped kitchen and the A/C’s worked great. There is a little store not too far. A sure thing.

Accommodation exceeded my expectations by far. My family members and myself are quite picky with cleanliness, smells, safety and surroundings and this location, exceeded their expectation as well. Everyone was happy, enjoyed their stay and honestly wished we had more time to just relax and enjoy it some more. Loved the back area and used it a lot at breakfast time, enjoyed listening to the birds and cool breeze. Thank you again for allowing us to reconnect to 'HOME' an experience I think all members of my family can walk away with a smile.

My stay with Judy was safe, loving and cordial. Judy got me immediately made to feel welcome in his home with a home-cooked meal and helped me with everything concerning transportation to and from the airport and ferry terminal in Port of Spain. Moreover Judy showed me around the neighborhood and could always help if I had questions about places and transport. I truly enjoyed staying at Miss Judy. Wonderful and kind individual. I came in a bit late but she was kind enough to wait up for me. Miss Judy greeted my with food upon arrival. We were able to sit and have a wonderful chat. Everything was up to par. The house impeccable. It definitely enjoyed staying here and will visit again.

I loved my stay with Judy! I arrived late but she welcomed me very warmly and even had a plate of food made for me. Judy is very generous and often offered me food which was really nice. Her muffins were delicious! Her place is beautiful, very clean and the room is really cozy. It was like staying at a home away from home. She went far out of her way to make my stay great. I also really enjoyed sitting around in the evenings talking with her and the other guest that was staying there. The area is quiet, safe and gated with security. Five stars all the way! Super safe neighborhood and Judy is an amazing human being. Superhost! She made me a salad with artichoke dressing and guava juice. They were delicious. We chat and walked in the neighborhood. I also got to use the pool. The room is super nice and clean. There's an AC in the room and it has a lock too. You can walk to Shops of Arima in 2 mins ( it is across the street). Or you can take an Uber or maxi taxi to Tunapuna and grab Buss Up Shut at Wing's. From the airport to Judy's place, you can take an Uber which ranges from 40 to 46 TTd ($6 to $7 US dollars). Pretty good deal I think! I highly recommend this place and I know for sure I will come back! Thank you Judy!

She was incredibly accommodating and made sure communication was always good. Inspite of the lillte hicup she was wonderful about it all. Was even accomodating to my mum and grandmother as they came to see me. Thank you wholeheartedly for your hospitality. Highly recommended.

Judy is a great host. Her home is safe and comfortable. She has all the amenities one could need, and does her best to make you feel welcome. She works closely with a driver that is a great resource. A driver is needed as Judy's place is a bit far from most tourist sites in Trinidad. If you need a comfortable, inexpensive, nice play to stay I would recommend this.

Judy's place is quite nice and comfortable. AC, TV, shared full kitchen and bath. The one fact you have to consider, it's not so easy to get to. She can arrange for pick up but it's $25. The capital city of Port of Spain is one hour on the bus away. Even with a car you look at 45 minutes. The house itself is in a gated community and quite safe! I still can recommend it.

My stay with Judy was beyond what I expected! She was very kind and she made my trip 10 times better. She did well beyond what she needed to do as a host and I couldn't imagine visiting Trinidad again and not staying with her. Judy's entire house is very clean. She offered me home cooked food a few times and it was delicious each time. Depending on traffic her house is about 15 minutes away from Port of Spain. She lives in a gated community that felt very safe. I walked around late at night and it was very peaceful and quiet. She suggested I use the car service of a driver named Wayne. Wayne is a very kind person with a lot of knowledge about the Island. I felt very safe and more confident with his guidance. Again my trip would not have been the same without Wayne. My trip would have been drastically different had I stayed at a hotel and I am beyond satisfied.

Judy is an excellent host. She is extremely kind, considerate and helpful. The spaces (bathroom, kitchen, living and dining room) are impeccably kept and very cozy. I would recommend this room to a lone traveler or couple (enough space for 2) to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

I had a very nice stay at Ave's home. She and her family were always helpful and even took me on a late night drive to see the leatherback turtles near Matura. Lawrence also prepared great breakfasts. The room was simple and had a comfortable bed. With open window and a fan, the nights are pleasant, but during the day, it can get pretty hot in the room. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and it seems to be safe to walk around, even at night. A bigger supermarket and public transport (maxis) are a 10 minute walk away. There are also a few restaurants around 10 minutes away, but I was not too impressed by them - rather fast food and Chinese restaurants. In the evening, restaurant options were even more limited. Anyway, in total, I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend Ave's place to my friends.

I had the most Amazing 6 days staying at Aves House. Aves family is so Nice and helpful! I travelt alone, so Ave invited be to hang out with her and her friends, that was so thoughtful, and i had an amazing time. The room was very Nice too. I Will anytine recomment people to go stay with Ave and he family<3

Ave is a friendly person and always willing to help you! And her father prepares a fantastic breakfast. All in all its is a nice place to stay in a calm house. The house is about 10min walking disatance away from a big Supermarket and the main road. When you are lucky, Sometimes you could watch a football match, while sitting on the veranda.

Ave is a super kind host, she cared so well to about us (how to get to her place, making us breakfast, taking us to maracas bay, showed us port of spain, introducing us to trinidadian culture and food, invited us to join a birthday party). the room is nice and spacious with a bathroom and kitchen next door, the family is always around if you have questions or just have a nice talk. there's absolutely nothing we could criticize about this place. the neighborhood is safe and calm. The place is generally kept clean. Ave and the family were very welcoming, very warm, very respective of my personal space and very willing to assist me manoeuvre my way around Trinidad.

Comfortable, large room with air-con and large bathroom shared with one other guestroom (if other guests are present, not with the hosts). The home is in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood, and within a 15-minute walk from a convenient shopping mall with food court and cinema (TrinCity Mall). Although overall Trinidad is not too convenient if you are without a call, this home is within just a few minutes' walk from the East-West main road where there are "maxi-taxis" every couple of minutes to City Gate in downtown Port of Spain. The journey costs only about US$1, and they run back from Port of Spain all through the night. I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a maxi-taxi from either direction. This was an excellent and very good-value place to stay during Carnival, when every hotel in Port of Spain is inevitably full. Mario and his wife Donna are very kind hosts who do their best to make you fell at home. Mario picked me up from the airport even though I arrived around midnight and they also let me use their washing machine and check out late! I'm really satisfied with this airbnb stay.

I fellt at home ,extra large room,everything was super clean ,nice bed ,a/c,wi-fi works very well and the hosts are SUPER welcoming and friendly ,always with a kind word and a smille ! Besides all this they offer a complimentary breakfast ! Thank you so much ,i really felt at home !

With little time, we planned our trip to Trinidad and Tobago and we made the reservation in AIRBNB and we were lucky to do it with Robert. Robert offered to pick us up at the airport and take us directly to the lodge. He also informed us about the places we could visit, the beaches, the places where we could go out for walks and the places where we could go to eat. We went to the maracas beaches and the caves. We enjoyed the sun and the pure air of the beaches.On the way back, we went to dinner at the Queen's park at the local food court. We sat on the terrace and robert, as a good host, talked about the island and the customs. We met his best friend and they accompanied us to know the fascinating nightlife of Trinidad. We had a great time! The lodging is located in an area near the Queen’s park and in the street of the best discos and bars of Trinidad. It is very comfortable, with access to the kitchen, living room, terrace and you can make it yours. Excellent area, good lodging and excellent location.

Amazing location-- short walk to everything you need, clubs, and restaurants. Robert was very helpful and friendly.

Robert is an excellent host and always available for questions. The room itself is very basic and the bathroom is not traditional (but private), so do not expect a 4 star hotel. But it's perfect if you're looking for an inexpensive clean place to stay for a few days. It also has its own private entrance, which is nice. The location is great and close to all the things you'd need.

If it wasn't for Robert I know that I would have never got the experience I really wanted. Thank you so much! You turned this last minutes escape into one of the greatest experiences of my life! I was very comfortable at all times. Robert let me know everything I needed to know and was always there when I needed something. He introduced me to his own friends and family and they couldn't be anymore welcoming and kind. I'm going to miss them all. I can't wait to see you guys again next year. Once again thanks again for everything! I'm glad to say you'll always have a friend in me.

Robert is a great host. He took me out of his way to change money and show me more of the downtown area. The room is simple, but the house is awesome. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The location was just about perfect.
