Very good place just gets better each time i visit.

Nerisa was very helpful explaining how to get to manhattan. Its a 5 minute walk to the bus stop then you take bus 168 to nyc which usually takes about an hour. Great place to stay if you're traveling on a budget.

I stayed 6 nights at Nerisa and everything went well! She and her daughter were very welcoming and very nice. Nerisa is not at all intruisive I have seen little during my stay but it is very reactive per message and was able to help me when I needed. She even kind enough to do my laundry! The room is beautiful, clean and over-equipped: comfortable king size bed, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, toaster, cutlery, glasses ... A office and storage space if needed! In terms of location, it's better if you have a car if bus is also feasible to reach New York and is just down the street so it is very easy! I would 100% recommend this accommodation!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Nerisa's place in Teaneck for 6 nights. The bedroom and bathroom are spotlessly clean and it is a great convenience to have a fridge, toaster and coffee machine in the room. The tv was a fantastic bonus. There was tea and coffee also. The bus no. 175 takes you from the end of the street directly to the George Washington bridge bus terminal in Manhatten in about 20 mins. We found it quite easy to get to Manhatten and back. Nerisa was kind enough to do our washing towards the end of our stay. We had an issue with the electrics on one of the sockets which was sorted out the same day. I highly recommend Nerisa's air bnb.

My stay was just AMAZING!!! Dorret's home is beautiful, cozy, a wonderful place to come back to every night, and she is simply an angel of a host, super-friendly, the most positive energy, providing everything needed to relax or be productive - wireless internet, tv, room fridge, comfortable bed, plenty of closet space. The location is very convenient: a few minutes walk from restaurants, there was a nice park and bus stop on the corner. By car it's just 5 minute to the malls in Paramus and about 20 minutes to midtown Manhattan. I couldn't recommend more strongly if you need to be in the northern suburbs or near Manhattan.

My experience staying here was great. It was 8-10 mins from GWB, 7 mins away from North Paramus (route 17), 15 mins away from Hackensack during rush hour (about 8mins without traffic). There is also a Walmart, coffee shop, and gas stations nearby (if you drive a lot like I do). Dorret will take good care of you. Her home is newly renovated. Her house is beautiful, clean, and smells amazing! If Dorret is not available (which was never the case), her son Andrew was available. Dorret is thoughtful, but mindful to give you privacy; I didn't run into her through most of my stay just because our schedules did not overlap. Dorret's home is perfect for medical students rotating nearby or for couples visiting NY/NJ for a weekend. Dorret's house is a home away from home & it located in a family friendly/ safe neighborhood.

Hernia and Cuthbert are great hosts! The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. There is water, milk and orange juice in the mini refrigerator and a Keurig for use in the kitchen. The shower was great. Excellent location for New York City.

Hermia was very responsive and called left a message and then texted me before I reached. Both Cuthbert/Hermia were very warm and welcoming. They had both the bed room and bathroom well stocked. They were very generous whether it was breakfast and coffee or toiletries in bathroom. The room was very neat and clean. The neighborhood very calm and quiet with ample parking.

This place is perfect for a 1 month stay. I was very comfortable there and Hermia and Cuthbert are really nice people. They were accessible and kind. They provided guidance on the local transportation or any other information that i needed. Would love to go back, if have any opportunity of visiting the place. I wish them All the Best.

Allison's appartement was really neat and comfortable. She was very nice and agreable, and available if I needed it. The bus stop to Manhattan was close from the house and took about 30min. I had a great experience staying at her place.

Allison and Agatha run a great airbnb. The room is clean and the bed is comfy, and they're both the friendliest hosts I've ever met. Plus its very close to a really great Japanese restaurant called East! If you need a place to stay in Teaneck theirs is by far the best!

Alice is really sweet and accommodating. However I booked the room under the impression that there would only be 3 of us in the house. Alice, myself, and a guy living upstairs with the on suite bathroom. So I thought me and Alice would be sharing one bathroom between us. However when I arrived Alice told me someone else was staying as well. I wouldn't have booked the room if i knew this. I also had a strange run in with the man who I didn't know would be there. He opened my door while I was in my room (shut it (URL HIDDEN) was really strange. When i confronted him he said he thought I had left and that he left a box in the room (which i did see when i moved it). I guess it was a misunderstanding but it made me pretty uncomfortable for the next 3 weeks of my stay. Alice did end up putting a lock on the door but it isn't that secure. You also can't lock your room when you leave so that's something to note. The house is old and outdated and isn't the cleanest. There is a lot of clutter as well. The room has old carpet and is pretty small with some crazy wallpaper on the ceiling. Overall, Alice is sweet but I wouldn't book this room again.

Great cozy room with best location.

I must admit that this was my 1st time with airbandb. I was skeptical as single woman staying in a man's home, but I was so pleased. The home was immaculate and beautifully decorated, J. was kind, polite and in touch with me at all times attentive to my needs. You are just a few minutes by car to GWB, or anywhere else. Thanks J for a lovely stay. We'll probably stay in touch and I wouldn't for a moment hesitate staying there again. Until next time.

It's actually my first time use this app, and I have to say I really enjoy my stay here at this place!! The room is pretty clean, cozy and comfortable and the whole house is really well decorated, I just love the style of those furnitures and decorations on wall or on table, and I even got a little private TV in my room that I can watch. And this place is really close to the bus station that make my trip to NYC really convenient, and I especially love morning when sun shines on the back yard, really beautiful. My trip to NYC is perfect by staying here. Anyway this place is highly recommended. I'll definitely come here again next time I travel NYC

My fiance then boyfriend stayed at J's house while visiting my parents for Christmas. J communicated with me before the trip and was flexible in our check in time and made sure Walt had what he needed. He and his fiance made the trip painless. The bathroom is shared but the room is a good size and is in a decent area that is not too far from the city. Walt's stay was comfortable and we would recommend anyone to stay if they need a nice and comfortable location to stay in close to NYC!

I find that a car is necessary for me, because my operas end after the last buses. But there is a bis stop right next to the house. The street is quiet. A safe place for my car and me. Laura makes the room and bath I had, just perfect for me. Clean, and comfortable, and this time I needed a work table, and it appeared immediately. I want for nothing. I am so pleased I found this place. AND it only takes me 20 minutes or less from my parking space in NYC to here, after the operas. They have a dog, the cutest little well-behaved dog. I was pleased she finally was brave enough to to visit me when I was working this morning. What can I say? You can't go wrong with this place. I just say again. I needed my car. You may not.

Laura's home is lovely. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We stayed six nights and slept better than we ever have at any hotel. Her home is conveniently located and has available parking. Laura and her husband are warm and inviting hosts and we totally fell in love with their adorable dog. Lauras house was awesome and luxury as it was in the description. She was very busy but answered every question. It is easy to go to Manhattan (bus stops in front of the house). We can highly recommend it and would stay there anytime again!

Laura,was there to greet me, but said if she weren't the key would be in a lack box. She showed me the fridge ( plenty of room) and said I could cook as long as I cleaned up. The bedroom and bath? I could ask for no more. Comfortable, clean, plenty of storage.

Laura's place was amazing and so was she. We checked in late and she was very understanding. The stay was very comfortable and her place is very close to Manhattan. This made it easier for us to travel. Best part is she had parking available for free. I will definitely stay at Lauras' the next time I visit NYC :)

I booked the rooms for my grandparents and parents because they came to visit me and celebrate my graduation. The location is very close to my university and NYC. Nerisa is a very nice and patient host.

I needed a place to spend the night in the Englewood area and Nerisa's place was the right location and the right price. I appreciated the 24-hour check-in and the good WiFi, as I was traveling for business. I only saw Nerisa momentarily on my way in, when I had trouble with the front door. The room and the bathroom were clean and nicely furnished. As advertised, the room is pretty self-sufficient, with fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, etc. Nice work area as well. Very quiet. Good value. The only real negative: the bed did not have a top sheet - just a comforter - which bothered me from both a comfort and cleanliness point of view. I searched the room for one, in case it had been forgotten, but could not find one and it was too late to ask Nerisa for one by the time I went to bed. It may seem like a minor thing, but I feel it is quite important for a bed that is rented out to different people all the time.

The room is nice and cozy. The host is friendly. It is a perfect place to stay if you visit NJ. However, it is super costly if you decide to take a cab to NYC. There is a bus really close to the place that will take you to Port Authority. It will save you tons of money.

Fernanda was very prompt and accurate with communication, we had an easy and prompt arrangements pre-arriving. Her husband welcomed and accomodated us, he was very nice, they had prepared for us fresh cold water. The listing and the overall experience, however are not as nice as it looks on pictures, we had higher exparcations about this accomodation. As the room is on the top floor, the bathroom appears to be with very low ceiling, which is really uncomfortable especially for taller people. My boyfriend had a hard time taking a shower, having to stay with his head down all the time. The room is too hot, even though there is a AC, we were still waking up in the middle of the night from the heat. With the hosts being nice and welcoming though, i can't say this is the worst experience ever.

The house is at a great location, close to city, and Fernanda welcomed us well. Good communication! We mainly came to sleep and were in NYC during the day. There is ample parking on street and a spot available in the driveway! The room is on second floor. We did feel however, the room could have been more clean- there were hair on towel provided and the floor! We did know bathroom may be shared and hence understand the condition but expected cleaner room. The house as its own rustic and nice vintage look.

Fernanda offered extra things such as using her own bathroom during the time of the stay and also walked up with us to the bus stop to guide us. The location is very nice with a direct bus to Port Authority bus stop few blocks away from Times Square. Overall, a great homely experience!

This place was great and our hosts were very cordial. Sara and her husband greeted us well when we reached at their place . They have taken a very good care of their house and given it a perfect unique look which was a treat to the eye. I would recommend everyone staying at their place and experiencing the uniqueness of vintage look to their house. All the three rooms were comfortable and each room had a different look & ambiance. They have a great backyard in their house where one can relax and get a feel of camping in the woods.

Sara's house is a gem! The tree lined block welcomes you to a modern tudor house with all amenities. Manicured front garden, and a super large backyard with a grill area. The house interior is amazingly furnished with Victorian and Gothic touches. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Wifi was fast, beds were comfy and everything was super clean. Overall a great stay in a beautiful space.

House is great, full of beautiful antiques and sculptures, Sara was wonderfully responsive, answered all inquiries immediately. It was perfect for our extended family visiting the area for a wedding.

Amazing location & great host!! The stay was very comfortable & the house was very neat & clean. It was very thoughtful of Gaby & Kirk to provide water, coffee & other small items which made my stay very comfortable & I did not have to run around to arrange basic things.

I stayed at this place due to relocation of my job in Fort Lee. My plan was staying here for about 10-12 days while I look for an apartment in Fort Lee. On the location wise, it is right close to the highway so if you are driving, it is very good. The neighborhood is residential, so it was quiet and there were plenty of parking spaces on the street. The house, however, is a bit different from pictures. The ceiling is very low, the place is dark, and mostly outdated. I am not sure what the smell was, maybe dogs, but it smelled like an old house or unwashed dog. The place also felt humid and damp. If you are a girl, it also may be tough because there is no mirror except bathroom, but the bathroom fan is extremely loud and no condition to wear makeup. The host, Gaby, was generous enough to work with my changed schedule for accommodation. We had troubles in the refund process, but she tried to work with me.

Gaby and Kirk were very kind and hospitable during our stay at their Teaneck home! Check in was very quick and easy, the room was just as advertised, and we even had a parking spot for our stay. They provided bottled water which was a huge bonus for us as it's one of the things we always forget! This was the perfect place for us to unwind after long days with wifi access and premium cable tv. We could not have imagined staying anywhere else. This place is highly recommended!

This place was grear if you want to get to the city but not be in the city. Gabh and Kirk live right next to a NJ Transit bus stop which was convienient for us!

Well maintained and Very Spacious Clean room with Very Elegant Bath

The house is beautiful and the location is great. Englewood is a very diverse community and the house is within walking distance of the quite lively downtown area which has a great selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in addition to a Performing Arts Center. The bus to Manhattan stops right by the house so NYC access is very quick and low cost. There is no kitchen access but due to the great selection of low cost places to eat in downtown Englewood this was not an issue for me (great and cheap Colombian , Mexican, and Salvadorean food nearby in addition to sushi and countless other options.. ) Parking is easy. The room is huge , the bed was very comfortable, and the restroom used by guests in the two airbnb rooms is close to the room and very nice and also huge. Ana is a friendly host and just expects quiet at night since this is a family home.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ana's place. I stayed for 2 weeks, commuting each day a short distance to my company's headquarters for corporate training. This is a large, beautiful old house, with secure parking in back. Just as you see in the pictures, the rooms are clean, nice and updated.

Great place to stay no complaints

Diana is a wonderful host. This was my second time staying here and I had no complaints! The room was clean and spacious, the air conditioning worked wonderfully and made the room very comfortable, and the wifi worked perfectly. I would gladly recommend this place to any friend looking to stay in the area!

My parents were in town and just needed a place to stay in the night. This place was sufficient enough. Though only suggestion is to show the correct photos of the rooms.

The room was comfortable and clean. There was clear instructions for getting access into the room. Harold, Diana's husband was friendly and accommodating. However, during the day there was a lot of renovation/construction work happening in the house which made it very noisy.

Diana has a heart of gold! My brother was in town and needed a room. Diana was an excellent communicator and did more than enough to accommodate. The location was as described and in a very safe area. He could easily walk to Starbucks which was a perk.
