Amazing place, this Cabin was perfect! We went here Camille and I one night during our Road Trip in Norway and we were very happy to stay here. Very easy contact with the owner by the App who has been very nice with us. I hope we can coming back soon!

This was a most wonderful cabin we've ever stayed in. Everything is well thought and comfortable. All modern appliances, everything you need to feel at home. And the views are just amazing. Even though it was raining quite a bit during our stay, we enjoyed every minute. Andreas is extremely responsive and all our questions were answered within minutes. It was a bit challenging to find the right cabin as there were a few around and they look pretty much the same, make sure you follow GPS instructions that Andreas sends you. This will definitely be our stay point for any future travels in Norway.

This is such a cozy, beautiful cabin! It was everything we wanted for our getaway: romantic, secluded, beautiful view, clean, and well-equipped with amenities. Andreas also made everything so easy, including giving us the GPS coordinates to find the place! I would definitely stay here again. Amazing!

This was our best Airbnb experience fo far ! The apartment was amazing ! Very cosy, beautifully arranged and perfect for a family trip. Everything was brand new and perfectly clean when we arrived. We had no problem communicating with Terje. Check in and check out were super easy ! We definitely would recommend anyone to stay there !

While the host was not present, family members were nearby to help us. The place was in a very nice location in a ski reaort. There were not many restaurants in the area but there was a nearby market to let you cook.

Nice and well equipped apartment close to the resort. We stayed here from Friday to Sunday and enjoyed awesome. Nice hosts who had made everything ready even though we arrived a little earlier than planned. Very nice that we got to keep apartment; in the day on Sunday so we got a few extra hours in the ski lifts. Would gladly come back at a later date.

Both the hut and Jo Arve were amazing. The hut is big, modern, very well equipped (especially the kitchen) and very clean. Exactly as advertised. Everything was very well organised. Jo Arve was there to meet me and showed me everything I needed to know. Knowing that my flight arrived late, he even offered to buy me meals for the first evening and morning. There is a magnificent view over the lake. I was really looking forward to just sit back with a wood fire going and enjoying the scenery. I was supposed to stay there four nights but only got to stay two because I broke my leg skiing. Jo Arve and his family went out of their way to help me. They insisted I stay with them in their house where they can look after me. They provided me with meals also. When I was informed I had to go back to hospital in Alesund for sirgery, his dad and son drove me out there and returned my rental car for me. I can never thank them enough for making my stay as good as possible under the circumstances. I highly recommend this place. Giving it much more than five stars!

We had a great stay at Jo's cabin. The Cabin was house and very nice , clean and modern with all the amenities. It had more space that we needed and was at a great location . We even took a day off to just relax at his cabin and looking at the view. Jo was also very kind to come and meet us when we could not find the house initial. We are extremely happy with Jo's Cabin.

Awesome cottage !!! It has everything needed for a perfect holiday! Large, well equipped kitchen, large and cozy living room with fireplace, numerous bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. There are great views of sea and mountains, good walks. It was Wii and table games on cabin that we could borrow. There we appreciate! Fun for kids and adults! Camping is ideal for families with children. It was easy to find thanks to video as Jo Arve sent us. We enjoyed lots of both big and small. Wonderful holiday! Thanks to Jo Arve !!! Jo Arve's hytte is splendid! It is much nicer and spacious than the picture on AirBnB would let you think, you will love it! 10min drive from Strandafjellet and walking distance to another alpine ski hill and cross country skiing paths. Highly recommended. :)

Jo was a very good host. The hytta was perfect, clean, cosy, well arranged. He showed us around when we arrived, and information were available inside on how to use the different devices. The kitchen is very well equipped, board games were available for the evening. He followed up on us during our stay to make sure everything was all right. He even provided a baby bed for my nephew. It was the perfect vacation for us! Thanks a lot Jo :-)

We had a fantastic stay at Jo's cottage. It is very easy to get to from Alesund airport and has great views over the lake. Jo also made us feel very welcome on our arrival. The cottage is very comfortable with a huge new kitchen where we enjoyed cooking. The terrace is also perfect for barbecuing. A great place to stay and explore the surrounding fjords and mountains. Look forward to going back!

Fantastic house. very spacious. We were only 4 staying there but it can easily fit more than 8 people. Fully equipped kitchen. Cosy living room. Large balcony very great view of the lake and mountains. A very quiet area with sheeps and cows grazing around from time to time. There is also a wii to keep the kids entertained. It's a little bit a drive to get to Geiranger and other tourist attractions, but the calmness and comfort this house offers is well worth it. And in any case the drives are very pleasant. Highly recommend. Jo Arve is very responsive and helpful.

A very enjoyable stay at Anne-Kari's beautiful apartment. It was so cozy and comfortable with stunning views over the lake. Anne-Kari was very accommodating and so lovely. Was an absolute pleasure to stay and can't wait to get back in the winter! I would highly recommend staying here!!!

I enjoyed my stay at Anne's place. It was a good time staying 2 nights in such a nature and quite area.

The place is a bit difficult to find at night though, however at the first step into the house, our whole family was so amazed and they began to take pictures everywhere in the rooms! It has a very nice view from the windows and the cozy fireplace was definitely recovering the fatigue of the trip. This place definitely deserves a longer stay as a relaxing holiday but we were in a road trip and did not have enough time to enjoy it.

We stayed at the cabin in the summer time with two kids. The cabin and its location is perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding landscape or just for relaxing and watching the beautiful mountain lake. The cabin itself is modern, clean and nicely decorated and has all appliances needed for an easy stay. Anne-Kari was really helpful and was quickly responding to all our questions.

We had a lovely time in the house of Anne-kari and her mom. The cottage as here described on the site was not yet available, Anne-kari was having a hard time to get it finished, came home late at evening while she was putting tiles in her cottages, for sure this is going to be a lovely cottage! Meanwhile she had offered us to stay at her current home, just as nice for us, close to the ferry to Alesund and with all facilities on board we could think of. Hope her cottage up in the mountain is ready soon, for sure she is the best host you can think of!

Very nice apartment, great location for alpine and cross-country skiing. The kids loved playing in the snow outside.

We were in Anne appartment for three night and it was amazing!! The house is new, and the landspace in front os the lake is simply perfect for relaxing... Everything was hiper-clean. She has a double bed in one room and 3 beds in a separate one (one of which could be used by two kids). I deeply recomend to go!

We spent 6 nights in this beautiful hut in a very wonderful scenery! The host gave us a very warm welcome. Everything was prepared, even the firewood was cut. The area around the hut is awesome. It's a place to be and you can visit different nice places so as Geirangenrfjord, the Atlantic Road or Alesund. Enjoying our holidays in Norway at this place was just breathtaking. We enjoyed the fireplace, the canoe trips on the lake (with lifejackets), walks in beautiful surroundings. This residence is located in a ski area, so in the winter it must be wonderful for walking. Geir and Tove welcomed us warmly when we arrived and were very helpful in showing hinking opportunities in the vicinity. Throughout the stay, they were also constantly helpful in answering questions and giving support. The cabin was above expectations: it is spacious (for two people that is), clean and neat, nicely decorated and well equiped. A nice fire place with plenty of wood made the stay very cosy and warm despite the relative low temperatures. The surroundings were also stunning. The view from the cabin on the lake is very picturesque and the mountains surrounding the cabin give plenty of wonderful hiking possibilities. Within 2 hours one can reach either the trollstige and Geiranger Fjord; excellent day trips destinations. A little bit longer drive, the lovely town of Alesund can be found. Altogether, we had a very nice stay and would gladly return to this cabin when we will visit Norway again. Martin and Annerieke

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin, it is even better than the pictures. Inside it was very cozy, lovely traditional but also very comfortable, with all modern equipment. The sunny terrace with a stunning view is magnificent. It was very conveniently located, at walking distance from the ski center. Lisbeth is a great host, she had lit the fire for us, and check in and check out was very flexible.

I have genuinely never stayed in an airbnb more beautiful than this! It truly is a beautiful cabin. The location may be a little further out, but it just means you get to enjoy your backyard view in serenity. Looking forward to going back for another visit in winter!

The canoe and lakefront setting were a particular pleasure for us --- we went out into the quiet, calm, lake and enjoyed the picturesque setting the home provided. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. the decoration is beautiful (Woods, perfect atmospher) and the view on the lake is peaceful and quiet. The appartment is perfectly equiped. (really good bed, kitchen well equiped) the location is good for hiking around or visit the fjords. Finn was available for every question. I recommand this place for peaceful and nature vacation.

We had a great stay at the newly built accommodation. For questions Finn was always immediately accessible and able to give us valuable advice for the region. Unfortunately, we had three days to travel further, we had the feeling to be at home from the first moment. Direct lakeside location, beautiful views and modern decor. Gunn Merethes home is wonderful! The location is unlike anything I've ever seen or stayed in before. Summer time was perfect as we felt as though we were the only people around. The home was exquisitely furnished and Gunn Merethe an incredible host who went out of her way to make our stay amazing.

Waking to the view of the water and be just nature ..... it treats we all experience. Our guests from the United States stated that this was 100% natural experience and could not imagine that it is possible to get something better :-)

We really enjoyed our stay at Thudalen hytte in Sykkylven. This place offers everything: fantastic location, new and and comfortable apartment, beautiful surroundings.

The cabins are easy to spot once you are in the correct road, since they are big and are in the front line of the lake. The sight and location is outstanding, unbeatable, ideal to feel connected with nature and far away from tourist centres. You will definitely need a car to move around since it's pretty isolated, but that is the positive aspect of it. Many important hikes and spots are around. We spent some wonderful days in the cabin, would highly recommend it! On our departure day, the sky was blue and the sun shining happily so we took one of the canoes and went for a trip in the lake, unbeatable experience.

Me and my friends got stuck in Oslo, and Andreas helped us with some indication on what to take and how to get there. He was very kind and helpful to us, and as we got home we had to appreciate how beautiful ad warm the place is. we got everything we needed to sleep, bath and cook, and we just had to enjoy our stay. The view is spectacular, totally worth to be there at least one time. Have to thank Andreas again, couldn't find a better host!

Spending our summer vacations in Thudalen Hytte was really good choice. Alesund city, Geiranger fjord and lot of more for which we unfortunately did not have time is in near to the apartment. My husband and I absolutely loved our (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication with Andreas went smoothly and the check-in/out process was very easy. The cabin is very modern, clean and comfortable. We really regretted not staying a third night as the location is perfect to visit places like Ålesund, Trollstigen, and Geirangerfjord. It was great to come back to the cabin and just relax by the fireplace as we cooked or looked out at the lake. We never met Andreas in person but he gave us good directions and recommendations for the area. He even left us local treats to enjoy! We would definitely come back and stay here again.

The house was clean and full of new stuff, everything was fresh and nice. It was a pleasure to stay at that house. The view is absolutely fantastic, beautiful lake, one thing that was not so perfect is the territory in front of the house - it seems to be not ready yet, as the house is very fresh. But it should become great with some time. Andreas was very nice and helped to solve our problems very very fast.

Moutain lodge "Alen Journal" is a wonderful beautiful, spacious new house. It is fully equipped (including a washing machine) and furnished very cozy. It is right on the lake. Bothered us not, but the wooden floor you can hear the upstairs neighbors do. The setting is beautiful, there are hiking and Alesund is about 1 hour.

Fantastic location, very quiet area with great views. The apartment was clean and exactly as the pictures show, the building is completely new kitchen was very well equipped with everything from kettles to electric hand mixer. Although we never met Andreas in person, it felt anyway as a warm welcome with a greeting and a taste of local goods set forth on the kitchen table. Andreas was informed that we traveled with children and had set up chair and bed complete with duvet and pillow. We had plans to run Atlantic road on day 2 of our stay, but chose to keep us in the immediate area and just enjoy the tranquility. All in all a very, very good stay recommended strongly.

Andreas was very helpful when we booked. He suggested things to do around the area and even offered to put us in touch with the local fisherman for a day trip fishing. The place looks exactly like the photos and is very homely inside. It is right on the lake and next to nice walking trails. It is a very nice getaway from the busy cities.

The cabin was really clean, modern and cozy. There were all kitchen utensils such as coffee machine, grill, etc. available. The towels and bedding were sealed packed - so very hygienic. Unfortunately we only had two nights.

The Mountain Lodge was beautiful and with all the facilities needed, including fire place, fully equiped kitchen and outside deck with chairs and a great view of the lake! Andreas was a great host, who went out of his way to assist me in arranging the wedding proposal to my girlfriend (a private boat tour including lunch & champagne, all to my personal wishes). He really exceeded my expectations as an AirBnB host!

We loved our stay at the cabin, the views were spectacular over December with the frozen lake and knee deep of snow. The surroundings are quiet and perfect for a quiet get away, a car or some transport is a must.

Andreas was very communicative and when we arrived, took the time to explain everything. His lodge was very well decorated and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is in an amazing location that is right next to a beautiful lake with a mountain backdrop. They even left some snacks as a welcome present. It's also nice to see the linens left on your bed nice and clean, wrapped in plastic, ready for use. We will definitely be back and thank you so much Andreas!

We were all delighted by this apartment ! We were 10 people and everybody had space on their own. The decoration is really nice, the beds comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place.

We loved everything about the lodge, it was perfect and exactly as described. The communication with Andreas was great, and we found it easy to get to following his instructions. There are kayaks and bikes to use, unfortunately it rained heavily when we were there, so we didn't make use of them. We did make use of the PlayStation though! The lodge is in a beautiful and peaceful location, I wish we could have stayed there longer.
