Very comfortable B&B hosted by very kind people. Everything was perfectly taken care of. Good beds, clean bathroom and shower and nice Italian breakfast. The hosts were kind enough to pick us up at the airport and take us directly to the B&B. Perfect night-stop to or from Trieste airport!! We will certainly come here again.

I only needed a bed for one night before catching an early plane out of Trieste. B&B da Leo was perfect. Elena was very helpful in assisting me with navigating to her neighborhood, which was not easy coming from Pula as I did. She even met me at the bus stop. Plus, her gracious husband drove me to the airport the next morning. The room is large enough for one, and has a handy writing desk. In addition, you have access to large common areas including a well-stocked kitchen. If I find myself in Trieste, again, this will be my first choice for lodging. And if you are really lucky, you will get to meet "Leo".

Exceptionally clean room with fantastic host who does everything to make you feel "at home". The kitchen is stocked with various breakfast items along with an great Italian coffee machine. The yard is a vegetable garden and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Whether you book for one night or several, you stay will be pleasant at B&B da Leo.

We were two colleagues that booked this place and expected to have booked the entire place with 2 bedrooms. Instead we found that we recieved one bedroom and the other one was occupied by a late arriving person. We found that this was not in accordance with the description. The kitchen and common areas are shared between the 2 rooms and so is the bathroom. On a different note, the place was clean and comfortably close to the airport.

Elena and her husband were very welcoming to me and my daughter. They were kind enough to offer to drive us to the Trieste Ronchi airport, which is conveniently located near to their B&B. It was a perfect overnight solution before taking an early flight back home.

We did not meet Annalisa but Annalisa’s father Giorgio gave us a warm welcome. He gave us a broad explanation about the apartment. Furthermore, he was very helpful and personally helped us with a toll fee. The apartment was very clean and the wifi functioned well. The apartment is fully equipped to cook meals. The apartment is situated in a calm neighbourhood. In front of the apartment there are free parking lots. The pictures on Airbnb give a true reflection.

The house, located in a quiet area near the center of Monfalcone, has met the required needs, including parking space within the private space. A large private garden where the dog could run around and enjoy the outdoors; The house is equipped with WiFi, TV and DVD and finally heating. A quiet corner just steps from Slovenia, Trieste and Grado.

La Casetta is situated in a good location, near the center but in a quiet area away from the noise. A few hundred meters there is a large supermarket, as well as bars, pharmacies and other services. You can park your car inside and has a fairly large garden, definitely exploitable seasonal. The interior is functional, with input from both sides, two large bedrooms and bathroom and kitchen equipped with everything that is necessary. We have stayed at 5 for 4 nights and I must say that everything went well. very friendly and helpful owners, definitely represent an added value. The council also those who decide to visit the Friuli Monfalcone fact is comfortable compared to other places of interest such as Trieste, Portopiccolo, Duino, Grado, Aquileia, etc.

It's a nice house with a closed garden - which is great with small kids. And the neighbours seems to be nice. The house is located near the city centre, which is in walking distance. And with a car, there's a lot of beautiful places and wineries within an hours worth of driving, so it's a nice space if you wan't to discover that part of Italy.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Lorena's place. She lives in a nice, quiet area of the town and the beach wasn't too far. The bedroom has a separate bathroom which was convenient. We enjoyed her company and the self-made jam she offered us at breakfast was simply great. I can recommend her place to everyone☺!

Lorena was a super host! She asked how we will arrive and offered to pick us up from the airport. The airport is not far but hard to reach, especially late in the evening where we came to Trieste Airport. Lorena made a great breakfast in the morning and even brought us back to the airport where now at normal working hours we were able to get our rental car. The room is as it looks in the ad, own bathroom, quiet neighborhood. Make sure the house rules concerning non-residential hours suit you.

Great appartment, nice and clean with modern interior. We have spent a great week here.

We spent almost two months in the summer'2016 at Mattia's house. It fully corresponds to what is depicted on the photos. Mattia had arranged everything for himself there, the house had initially been planned for living. It's good to spend time with kids there: it's just 7 km from beach called Marina Julia and 24 km from former Austro-Hungarian resort Grado. At both places bottom is slightly slopping so that in the hours of ebb it reminds a puddle. Both kids (son 9 year old, daughter just one year old) adored it. For those traveling by car (that was the case with us) it's an ideal base (Stützpunkt) to visit all the neighboring cities and countries and to explore this region of Italy. The bedrooms are definitely hypoallergenic, because our son for whose sake we went to the sea as he suffers heaviest allergy most of a year, never even sniffed. Mattia was in contact via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) all the time, responded quickly, helped us with advice (on what places to visit, where to wash a car and household issues). Staying there was pleasant.

The apartment is as seen on pictures, newly renovated, with all fixtures and fittings up-to-date. Is is located in the heart of the city with shops and cafes by your door step and only 5 mins away from the train station. Although the apartment does not hold a fridge or television we truly enjoyed the peace and cooking in the kitchen. Our host and girlfriend was most kind and helpful and flexible with time of arrival and request! I can definitely recommend this listing!

Angelo and Eleonora were great hosts! Angelo's homemade preserves make a fantastic breakfast and he was always willing to help me figure out anything I needed to know about Monfalcone and the wider area. I was in town for dissertation research (history PhD here) and I had a particularly good time when Angelo took me around the area and showed me some of the sites in the area that I'm studying. Really, he went above and beyond. He was also quite gracious suffering through a week of my not-so-stellar Italian! In terms of the room itself, you can't ask for a better place in Monfalcone. It's less than 10 minutes from both the train station and the main piazza (where all of the city and regional buses can pick you up), so getting around was very easy. Great experience!

It's worth it. They are too kind. The place is spotless. The bed was beyond comfortable. They will prepare a wonder homemade breakfast, possibly pick-up / drop-off at railway station, listen to your horrible to go in Italian, and of course lead you anywhere from Monfalcone to Trieste. In fact, Eleonora spent an entire day with us taking us sightseeing in her car; perhaps the most enjoyable day of our entire trip. The area was charming and convenient. Extremely warm, friendly welcome (just the opposite of his serious picture). I had a great time chatting about his multiple talents and adventurous life: travelling around the world in a ship for 4 years, from up the Orinoco river with pirana to catching sharks in the middle of Atlantic, than changing job and travelling more than 1 million km around Europe with his own transport activity. Inspiring for his courage, entrepreneurship, open mind, enthusiasm and many talents. What I liked about the accomodation: clean, quiet, REAL double mattress extremely comfortable, bathroom perfectly cleen, quiet surroundings. No WiFi but a coffe shop 200 meters away with free WiFi. The municipal swimminpool is just 700 meters away. Christian has also been helpful and ready to take care immediately of a couple of my requests.

Christian is a leader, has been very well know him and spend the night in his apartment. The room is big, bright and comfortable bed. Christian is an excellent person. We talked a lot about ... everything! I went to pick from Aquileia to take me to his house the next morning took me to the station Monfalcone. Near the house there is a restaurant for fine dining and even a bar to have a coffee where there is a group of people who meet to talk about their English. I felt like I was at home! All perfect. Lia is a generous and amiable person, she was always there for help, almost felt like an auntie from your own family. She offered to pick up my luggage from the train station for me to go straight to Trieste when she knew my travel plan. That was 7am at the weekend!! I also enjoyed to stay in, since the room is a quiet and cosy haven, you can isolate yourself totally and see the water reflection from the window which is very soothing for an urban kid. When I came back from the day trip my bed was made and my clothes were washed. It's a peaceful town itself. I got a total relaxation during my stay! It's also a sensible stop for the people going to venice. I will drop by again if I can.

Big modern apartment. It was absolutely comfortable for our big family (6 people). Was very simple to get into apartment without necessity to meet the host. Good Internet. Supermarket is very close. Close to the city center. Garage under the house, so the car was not staying in the sun. Very nice beach (in Marina Julia) is only 5 km from the house. Monfalcone is a good place for one who want to see this region of Italy (Trieste, Duino, Porta Piccola, Grotta Gigante, Grado...) Very nice communication with Martina. There was only one imperfection - In the extreme hot weather it was hot in the apartment, because one mobile air conditioner was not enough for 3 rooms and 2 levels.

our stay at martinas place was not pleasant at all. from the beginning there were just problems and obstacles that ruined our holidays. instead of providing a check in we had to wait 45min in front of the house for her to finally answer our messages (as she is in singapur and coulndt take care of her guests), apartment was not clean at all, wifi did not work as indicated (also ethernet not!) communication with the host was horrible as she always claimed "there was never a problem" before instead of focusing on resolving our problems. all critic was turned down unfriendly and she was not at all being cooperative. furthermore there was a big problem with the garage: we asked specifically (before arrival) if there is a possibility to keep the car in a garage and she said yes, as is also indicated in her advert. when we arrived the space she told us to leave the car in was taken. as we tried another day to park there, some other residents were aggressive and destroyed even a part of our car by kicking against it. so : all in all we were confronted with nothing but problems, and it was not a nice place to stay for holidays. it is possibly that the experience in martinas apartment is a better one when she herself is present (and willing to take care of her guests), but in our case we sadly cannot report anything more positive about the apartment and the experience with the host.

Martina was very helpful. The apartment is very large. also loose suitable for 4 persons. Monfalcone is a cozy little place but it has everything you need. In 25 minutes you are in Trieste. Highly recommended. (Looks you the Grotta giganta on, very impressive. Also, the view from the church Monte Grisa). The apartment itself has everything incl. Washing machine. What I missed was Internet googling around a little bit there so for interest. Otherwise, it was really nice. gladly again.
