“If you aren't an avid hiker...or even if you are, we highly recommend visiting the gondola. You will experience breathtaking views and lovely easy hiking trails at the top. A must-see for travelers and for locals who often invest in season passes. Their base-camps always have great community involvement events including Drive-In Theatres, Meet Santa Claus etc. ”

Japanese Restaurant
“Even if this place was sub-par we'd still go here because it's one of a few sushi restaurants in town, but guess what! It's VERY GOOD -- and this is coming from a sushi junkie who used to live in Vancouver, the sushi capital of the world. We are so lucky here in Squamish to have Sushi Sen. Make a reservation or get there early or else wait in line! :/”

Burger Restaurant
“The Watershed Grill – 41101 Government Road. Monday to Friday 11:00AM to Midnight. Saturday and Sunday 10:00AM to Midnight. Rustic with a fantastic location on the river, which is gorgeous on a warm, sunny day. Fun Fact: Bruno Mars team stopped by during the Squamish Music Festival to pick up a pre-performance burger and fries.”

Brewery
“A brewpub that is probably the best known here in Squamish -- iconic for sure, but a bit of a tourist trap. The food is OK but the space is big and nice and feels like that cabin in The Hateful Eight. Enjoy frequently rotating taps pouring a well loved, great craft beer selection. The patio is also nice on warmer days!”

Restaurant
“Just a really, really solid Indian restaurant we are lucky to have in town. Everything on the menu is delicious but the Tandoori wings are AMAZING! The owner, Don, comes out every night to personally ask you how your food was. Say "hi" to him for me and tell him Adela sent ya! ;)”

Coffee Shop
“Bean Around the World Coffee Shop – 3 – 41340 Government Road. A favorite of ours for homemade baked goods and coffee. They also offer sandwiches and ice cream. Its close proximity to Eagle Run is perfect for grabbing a coffee or hot cocoa and strolling the river looking for eagles in season. Eat in or take out. Monday to Sunday 5:30AM – 7:00PM. ”
