If you're thinking about booking a "wow" spot in Cape Town, don't even hesitate to book this apartment! Set over 3 levels, with the living area and a balcony with an eating area on the ground floor, the bedroom and bathrooms upstairs, and a spectacular roof terrace with plunge pool and ridiculous views on the top floor, this penthouse apartment has everything you could want for a "home from home" while you're in Cape Town. The hosts (Gabriel, Matthew and Bev) were also so wonderfully welcoming and friendly, and as accommodating to our requests as they possibly could be. A 5 star location, apartment and experience!

There are no words! Not only is this place gorgeous, with a stunning view, but Mike was a fantastic host. So many extra little touches and such amazing communication. We didn’t even take advantage of it all but just to know all these great tips were available plus all the care into making us feel comfortable was amazing. My boyfriend ended up proposing to me in the place it was so beautiful so needless to say it is one of our new favourite spots. If you can stay here, do it!

Wow! What an amazing experience! The place is beautiful as you can see from the photos. However, nothing compares to the feeling of stepping out onto the terrace to experience the most beautiful mountain and city views of Cape Town! The space was clean, secure and convenient. Procedures for check-in/check-out were efficient. Mike messaged me a few hours after the check-in time to make sure we were settled in nicely. That was a nice gesture. Mike and Sol care about the comfortability of their guests. They provide beach towels, helpful tips to explore Cape Town, dishes, washer and dryer unit, dish washer, refrigerator. You truly feel at home away from home. We most enjoyed the outdoor baths watching the sunset behind the mountain accompanied by a cool evening breeze and glass of wine. Thanks for the lovely bottle Mike and Sol! 🍷During the mornings, we opened all of the doors and windows welcoming the gorgeous sun-rays and sounds of the morning bustle making us excited for the day ahead! To top of this already amazing experience, we were in town for President Ramaphosa’s state of the nation address. We were able to watch all of the welcoming festivities from the balcony! We even could see and hear the choir and locals sing at City Hall. Wow! I can’t say enough about this place. Mike and Sol's place has a great view of Table Mountain that is hard to beat! Plus, the building and apartment were comfortable.

Mike was very helpful and offered help when there was a small mix-up about the place. I was very impressed with the place I stayed at. It was incredibly spacious and stylish. They clearly have a great eye for beautiful furniture and art. The attention to guests is clear through useful books and a bottle of wine from the region, WiFi that works perfectly, easy to pick and drop keys, a specified parking spot. Great neighbourhood! I highly recommend this place to other guests.

The views are absolutely out of this world and visible from the whole apartment. We enjoyed a great stay, making the most of the hot tub and great wine in the Western Cape. Highly recommend this space. Make sure you leave yourself time to chill and enjoy the view.

Dales little apartment was perfect and spotless. We stayed a week and had everything we needed, also we felt save at anytime. You can jog to the sea front in about 5min or walk about 10 min to V&A Waterfront. Restaurants and grocery shops are all around the corner. Unfortunately we couldn’t meet Dale in person, but he always made sure we are ok and updating us on the load shedding. We would come back again and definitely recommend his place. Great space in Greenpoint! Dale met me at check in and walked me through things to make sure I was all sorted. He also left a manual with recommendations and passed several on to me personally when I asked. The space is great. Easy access and walkable to restaurants and the waterfront. Short rides to other areas. I walked to my staple coffee shop regularly and had several options for food or drinks close by if I didn’t want to go far. Also equipped with a kitchen for those who want to stay in some nights. If you drive, note the gated parking area is suitable for a smaller car. No A/C inside, but not really needed. Stays cool and you can open the windows.

This place has the coolest decor and details. I loved it. It had everything you need to cook and even a safe. The host was very kind and communicative. They helped me out by allowing me to drop off my bags early. I was very happy with my stay. Note that this place doesn’t have air con which is only a problem for those who have trouble sleeping in warmth and during the summer months. The washer and dryer was a lovely addition and worked wonderfully. It was a great place in an awesome location. Thank you Dale and Katie!

This space is super classy and nice! They layout is superb and the views are unbelievable! By day you see many prominent spots and by night the city sparkles before you! A few items are worn which other reviews have mentioned but the value for the space is incredible. As a family of 4 this was very spacious, the rooftop pool was great (although not heated it was well frequented by my daughters) and the hosts do a great job of orienting you to the neighbourhood. We enjoyed many of Mikes food recommendations and the driver/guide he suggested was top-class - we hired him for airport runs and 2 days (one on the peninsula and another in wine country). Overall, we fell in love with Cape Town and would love to return again to this space!

I will just echo what everyone else has said about Mike and Sols place. The view are amazing, the place is sparkling clean and the communication with the hosts was great. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony the most, comfortable with outstanding views. Can't wait to come back!

The location is perfect as you are within close proximity to many sights and activities. It’s of the cleanest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in and the place is better than what pictures can show. And the rooftop pool was a pleasant surprise.

Top accommodation in a really great city. The apartment is really great, huge balcony and very cozy. Is in an apartment house with doorman. Everyone here very friendly and courteous. The area is central and safe. Opposite is one of the best cafes for a casual breakfast. Parking is also included. Highly Recommended!!!

Gorgeous apartment. Rooftop pool and gym right down the corridor. Nice sheets and towels. Super clean and secure. Across the street from the super cool steampunk style Truth Coffee co. And handy convenience store right across the street. Having coffee, tea, milk and wine stocked was a real lifesaver after an epic 40 hour trip to get there. We’re 3 women so the due to a few sketchy street people we Ubered everywhere, but I’m guessing that’s typical for downtown Cape Town, and an uber was usually only 1-2 minute wait. Thanks Mike and Sol, we felt like rock stars and if we are ever lucky enough to come back we would definitely stay in your place. Loved it.

The whole experience of starting at this apartment was an absolute pleasure. Sol and Mike were so helpful and made everything very straight forward. The views (and sunsets) are incredible! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful Clifton apartment in the best area on Clifton 2nd beach, easy walk. Clean, modern, contemporary with all the features you need for a pleasant stay. Sunny, bright and enjoyed the automatic shutters. Would recommend if you want to stay in Clifton

We felt very comfortable right from the start. Charmaine supported us from the day of booking until we moved out. The apartment, the location and the view of Table Mountain / sunset is amazing. She always wrote back within a few minutes, gave great locations for breakfast / lunch / dinner and was always warm. Would book again with Charmaine immediately.

The flat was everything you could want. Spacious, comfortable and well decorated and furnished. The cleaners cleaned and tidied up as well as doing the laundry as required. The block is well run and welcoming.

Linda and Gavin's house is wonderful and quiet. The view of the sea, into the vastness of the horizon, let you come into a wonderful silence very quickly. The location is great, in a few minutes walk you are on wonderful beaches a breathtaking sunset. In the house you feel like at home from the first minute. Overall, everything is very easy and stress-free, the attractive sights can all be reached very quickly. However, a car is necessary for this. Overall, highly recommended!

A home away from home.

Our second stay at this private, quiet and relaxing Airbnb. We choose it because the location is great (close to beautiful beaches and views of the sea from the balcony) and Lindy and Gavin are great hosts - helpful, kind and and always make us feel welcome.

Gavin and Lindy are supper wonderful hosts. They made our stay very worth it. Not forgetting Max the dog, he welcomes you back home with excitement all the time, very lovely. The view is fantastic, all expectations were met really. Thank you Gavin and Lindy.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay. Very unique and even with 4 adults it was very convenient and workable. It’s an experience as no other and it makes the thought of going home to your ‘normal’ house quite boring. Bathing and showering is lovely, being surrounded by trees. Would highly recommend it for something different.

We had a great time at Michael's treehouse. The treehouse is just as stunning as in the pictures. A place to relax and recharge. There's a nice braai with everything you need to make a nice dinner. Make sure to visit Sardinia bay beach - it's absolutely beautiful. Hopefully we can come back some time. All in all an extremely comfortable experience.

We ended our Garden Route Tour with 4 nights in the Treehouse. The host Michael sent us all the important information via email before our stay. Finding accommodation and checking in independently was no problem. The Treehouse is lovingly furnished and offers exceptional details. The photos didn't promise too much! From the pool, which is located at a neighboring holiday home but is free for all guests to use, you have a fantastic view of the surroundings. In addition to the pool, Sardinia Bay invites you to relax. The hosts have gathered a lot of information about interesting activities and restaurants in a lovingly designed book that we were happy to use to plan our days. We can fully recommend the Treehouse.

What a fantastic getaway, it's a beautiful apartment on a very nice property with a big pool where you can enjoy the breeze and have a nice view. The recommendations of Michael a very well organized in a book and the walk along the beach was indeed amazing. We especially liked the outside area surrounded by trees and the fireplace. Definitely one of the nicest places we have been.

Excellent location with great view from the pool and a lovely cottage, feeling as if it is in the forest at night. A special thank you for taking the trouble to go out to buy the fans when it just got too hot in the unseasonable heatwave and for guiding us in when we missed the final turning. Highly recommended.

Fantastic communication, great directions. Easy and welcome check in with home made muffins . Beautiful view and great facilities in the kitchen area. Comfortable bed with top quality linens. Great shower and powerful hairdryer. Offer if assistance with transportation on New Year’s Eve which was not needed as Uber /bolt taxis worked out. Assistance with washing of clothes and help with a uk adapters. Would return to this accommodation in a heart beat. Thank you and Brian for hosing us. Ps still no uk cards accepted at the toll. Big sign now but at least we had cash .

This place is fantastic. Moenier is a wonderful host. He took me around Cape Town my first day and gave me many tips. The apartment is great - he left snacks, milk, juice, and everything one would need for a pleasant stay. His staff is available to assist if you need anything. The neighborhood is quiet, and only 5-10 mins from the CBD. You can feel safe walking in this neighborhood at anytime of day/night. And the views from this place are stellar. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing place. Very clean, great view and a wonderful area for food, drinks and coffee. It is steps from the beach and an easy Uber ride to other points in Cape Town. We stayed here for 2 nights before our 7 day tour, and another night after our tour. It worked out very well!

My husband and I loved our stay! The ocean views from every room are amazing and we really enjoyed sitting on the ocean view porch in the mornings and evenings. We felt very safe in the area, complex and condo itself. We walked to several very nice lunches and dinners. The condo was very well appointed with a full kitchen and comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend Liz's place and would love to stay here again!

Marsha's place location is excellent. Its 15-20 min from V&A waterfront (depending on traffic). Its nice and cosy. The stairs to the flat is a little tricky but if walking slowly its not a problem. We enjoyed our short stay very much. Marsha made excellent arrangements for our booking.

Marsha’s home is perfect for any visitor to Cape Town, location is fantastic very close to The Waterfront, Table Mountain and Seapoint. You will be made to feel incredibly welcome with the use of her fabulous swimming pool and outstanding views over Table Mountain. The room is very comfortable with your own private access. One tip to find the property drive to the very top of Poyser Road which bends right and her gate is at the very end,

Michelle and her family and the staff at Everview are the absolute best! We were met with homemade bread, and Michelle was always there to meet all our questions and requests. The space is great, with a huge deck and a pool (small, but still great fun for the kids). Large, comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen and living room. Camps Bay was a great base for exploring beautiful Cape Town. Thank-you, Michelle!

Michelle is super kind and such a lovely host! We had the most wonderful time at Everview Suite including stunning sunsets every night and although we were in Cape Town for work the place made us feel like we were there for a holiday. I would recommend this place definitely to my friends and when I come to Cape Town next year, I will definitely ask Michelle if Everview Suite is free to book :) The neighbourhood is very nice and feels super safe, nice beaches, supermarkets and good restaurants are in walking distance and from Michelle to the housekeepers, we only met the loveliest ladies at Everview, who welcomed us with warm, homemade bread and Sauvignon Blanc, helped us with trip plannings and truly made us feel at home.

ultimate space for relaxation

Michelle was the perfect host! My mother and I were in town for a wedding and fell in love with the Everview Suite. As soon as we arrived, Zowie, a member of the staff was there to greet us and show us around the property. She even baked an oven fresh loaf of bread and Michelle met us later and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Over the course of the week, I was in constant contact with Michelle and she responded quickly to every request we had. It was so easy to get to the property and it was located in a great neighborhood. My mom had a small hiccup with the key on the first night but Michelle cleared everything up and was quick to assist her. The Everview Suite had a wonderful view of the ocean and was an amazing place to stay during our time in Cape Town. I highly recommend staying at this property! You won't be disappointed, I PROMISE!!!

John & Trish were most hospitable which made for a wonderful stay in their lovely space. The accommodation and amenities are excellent and the location perfect. A real gem of a place where peace and tranquillity abound!

If you need a little bit of serenity come and visit Trish's lovely cabin close to the Central Drakensberg! It was our first visit to the Drakensberg, a stop on our way to the south coast, and it was oh so relaxing. A beautiful view out on the dam with its weaver-filled tree, Egyptian geese and ducklings, and multiple other water birds, a private rock pool (out stay was to short to make use of it but it was so inviting!), and quaint two story cabin with a vintage inspired rustic but elegant feel. Great tips from Trish about the local area (Valley Bakery is amazing). And of course the Drakensberg itself is indescribable, we walked the Sterkfontein Falls and Gorge/Nandi Falls hikes at Monk's Cowl, and what can I say except wow! Just remember to pack for the sudden cloudbursts :P

We had a wonderful stay at the Loft! The most beautiful surrounds and everything you need for a weekend away. They also surprised us with thoughtful little touches and awesome amenities. Can recommend this place wholeheartedly.

What a treat! Not only is this place in the most beautiful surroundings, but Trish and John are incredible hosts! The place is kitted out with far, far more than what you’d expect from a self-catering, and we were constantly impressed by the small touches making the stay more comfortable. The pictures ABSOLUTELY do not do this place justice. The farm is gorgeous and is the perfect place to come and relax, unwind and enjoy country living and expansive vistas. It’s also a perfect home base for exploring the area! Apart from Clarens being only 12 or so minutes away, we easily managed a full day in the Golden Gate National Park and a quick day trip into Lesotho. I highly recommend this beautiful farm and will definitely be returning!

Wonderful place with charming hosts, incredible views and an all round amazing experience

We are still amazed by the warm atmosphere that we experienced in Cottage with Rene and Martine. The small cottage has everything you need. Rene was always at our side with advice and action and lots of tips. We felt very comfortable. Our children loved it too. There was always a lot to do: ride a car, jump a trampoline, swing on trees or feed 15 turtles. Our children slept on the gallery, which was terrific for them. So they always had their retreat and there are toys up there. Hout Bay is a family-friendly suburb / district and has the perfect location to reach all attractions in Cape Town. We are happy to come back anytime.

We had a great time at this lovely place. From the first day on, Rene took our son to go and feed the turtles and fishes and he really loved it. The accommodation is very charming and well equipped. Rene recommended daily things we could do around the area and would lend us lot of stuff for our trips. We definitely could have stayed a couple of days longer and would like to return here if we revisit SA.

This was such a wonderful stay! My 2 friends felt like kids again and loved the treehouse-like upstairs bedroom with 2 beds. I took the bed downstairs and loved the big windows and comfortable it was. Renewent above and beyond with his communication and spoke to us each day making sure we were ok and asking if we needed help or advice. The hospitality was 100%.

We started with our two kids (3 years and 10 month) our 3 week journey in South Africa and we haven’t could done better with this lovely cottage in Hout Bay. As mentioned .. nothing, absolut nothing to complain, and as we are from Germany usually we find something ;-) For us, it felt not like an Airbnb stay. It was more a feeling of visiting friends as Rene and Martine with their two kids are such nice people. If you have the chance to find a free slot in the calendar ... do not hesitate to stay some days!

Its a really beautiful cabin, a little bit outside of wilderness with an amazing view on the lake. Fran is a lovely host, who made the stay even better. She has 4 adorable dogs, who also live on the property. So wilderness in general was one of our highlights of the garden route and this cabin fit right to it. Highest recommendation!

The peace and quiet, superb accommodation and facilities, the sensational view, and of course the Fish Eagles; waking up to the calls of a family of four and watching them take flight from the trees just metres away; “breath taking”. Amazing space with one of the best views of the ocean! Right above the beach and a short 30 min walk to camps bay. Loved our stay and will definitely stay again in the future!

Nick gave us an unforgettable stay in his paradise. We were only there for a short time, but we would have loved to stay forever. :) The apartment corresponds 1: 1 to the pictures and can be experienced even more beautifully live. The decor is very stylish and the view is priceless. There is also great equipment for a beach visit. And in bad weather you can perfectly pass the time and let yourself go without feeling like you're missing anything. Nick was very helpful in communication and super accessible & always friendly and tried hard for us, as was his housekeeping team on site. We had such a great stay here. Nick and his team were excellent hosts - always friendly and willing to help. The apartment is beautiful and everything promised in the pictures. It was great opening the doors to listen to the ocean during the day, and the views were spectacular especially from the upper level. The bed is very comfortable, and the apartment is close to the beach and nearby amenities. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Moenier was a great host by being welcoming and giving us great tips on what to do in Cape Town. The place was neat and tidy and so close to the city centre which was great!

The apartment was clean and looks very pretty. It is in a good residential area. Moenier is very hospitable and personable. I can only recommend the apartment to everyone!

Moenier is very kind, friendly, always available for any need. He helped us in everything from parking in the city to places to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The apartment is modern in a youthful and interesting context, with a fantastic swimming pool at the back of the common room which acts as an atrium for the various apartments. Pleasant experience!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The little surprises that were left in the apartment (snacks, milk, juice etc) were just beyond our expectations. We got way more than what we saw on the website and paid far much less for the kind of experience we got. I’ll personally refund anyone that has something negative to say about this place(jokes of-cause) but try it out, I promise you, you won’t regret making that decision

Our stay at Felicia was wonderful. The apartment is large, well equipped, clean and is located in a quiet residential area directly by the sea. The communication with Felicia was easy and smooth.

Truly a delight. We had a marvelous stay . Cozy and clean...with every possible add on you can think of. Would have stayed longer if time allowed. A definate note on my bucket list to return.

Our stay at "A piece of heaven" was excellent! Great hosts and a very nice apartment with all the amenities one might need. It is also close to alot of activites that suited our wishes perfectly!

The house was more than we expected it to be. It was situated in a area away from the busy city which made it comfy and quiet but it was close enough to still enjoy what camp town has to offer. It was only a few minutes away from essential shops, like checkers hyper, and the fantastic Simons town that is home to sights like boulders beach and the scratch patch. It's also close to the farm village which is a must see if your new to cape town. The house provided plenty of space for a big family and there were a lot of great amenities. The fact that there was a washer and dryer made our holiday easy and convenient. The outside pool was the perfect size for floating about and relaxing. The heated aspect made it the perfect end to a busy day. You can come home, sink into the warm water and allow the day to wash away. The outside area was also equipped with a braai, sitting area, table, and a hedge growing on the side provided enough cover from the wind and gave it an extra feeling of privacy. All in all thi was an excellent house to stay in and I would stay there again.

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Luxury mountain retreat. Check in and out was very easy, and all we needed was provided and more. We felt very safe with the camera's and alarm systems that was very important to us. Out host Adam responded to any questions we had spediously. Coming home at the end of the day to a heated pool was really nice. We definitely recommend this mountain retreat. Thank you Adam.

Adams place is AMAZING. So sad we only got it for one night but it was a Sunday well spent. This house was definitely made for entertaining, and exceeded my expectations. The pool is the perfect temperature to swim all day long, even at night because it’s heated. The house was clean and and so safe!

Jono's place is what dream homes look like. Its a beautiful villa facing the camps bay beach in the front and on the left you get to see the marvelous table mountains. The place is a studio with private pool and garden. Quite spacious. The photos uploaded somewhat do not do justice to what the place actually is. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed each and every bit of our stay. Jono as a host is as good as a host can be. He got our luggage down, accommodated all our requests almost immediately, got us a bubbly and even spent an evening with us talking about his country and getting to know ours. Would highly recommend his place and hospitality! 😁

This is an absolutely fantastic apartment in an equally fantastic location. We spent 9 days here and used our time for a combination of sightseeing in the Cape Town Area and relaxation. Nothing was too much trouble for Colin who was invisible until you needed him and then was quickly at hand to help. A perfect host.

This place is amazing! The flat is super clean with the most amazing view and sunset you will ever see! The place exceeded our expectations and everything is super clean and well equipped. Jono is a great host and was replacing our towels after a couple of days and cleaned the pool even though it was only us that used it. Having a photoshoot with Timos is an incredible experience! He knows the in and outs of Thessaloniki, unique spots that only a local could know and this makes the experience so much more special! The stay at Jono’s place truly exceeded our expectations. We arrived quite late in the evening and Jono was continuously in touch with us until we arrived where he greeted us personally and even helped us with our heavy bags down the stairs. Upon entering the apartment we were in awe of how clean and spacious the place was. Jono was so kind to show us everything in the apartment and even had a basic items for us including a bottle of bubbles in the fridge! When we woke up, we couldn’t believe our eyes of how gorgeous the view was and how serene the location was. The pictures are beautiful but the view in real life is out of this world. Unfortunately the weather was quite terrible the week we were there so we couldn’t use the pool but we will most certainly book at Jono’s place next time we’re in Cape Town and hopefully be able to enjoy some sundowners and pool time. Overall The place is incredible, sparkling clean and Has the best host we’ve experienced so far. Jono was responsive every single time we needed something or had any questions. Upon checkout he was there to say goodbye and wish us a safe flight. If you’re desired dates aren’t booked at Jono’s place, we suggest you book and enjoy! You won’t regret it.

This place really is a little hidden gem. nestling against the side of the mountain and surrounded by beautiful gardens with amazing big trees and artwork. Glenda and Gavin made our stay a happy one and looked after us really well. Appreciated all the little thoughtful touches that made us feel more than welcome.

The accommodation is very spacious and beautifully decorated. There is a lot of space. The garden is an absolute dream! The location is in a safe area and only about 3km from Kirstenbosch. Breakfast is excellent. Glenda is a great host. You feel very comfortable; like friends!

Urban Oasis is a very nice place to stay if you want to explore Cape Town and its surroundings. It also has several nice restaurants nearby. It was the second time for us to visit Urban Oasis and probably not the last time. Glenda is very helpfull and knows the all the places you want and should visit. A wonderfull place to stay ....

This was probably one of my best AirBnB experiences to date. The space, comfort of the bed, kitchen, location, cleanliness and hospitality exceeded all my expectations. This is the perfect hide-away and you’ll never know you’re in a city. Traffic noises are replaced by bird sounds and the white noise of a little water stream. It’s serene but yet, it’s a 2minute walk to one of Cape Town’s most iconic pubs and other wonderful restaurants and shops. The hosts are warm, friendly and always willing to help. I can truly say they go the extra mile. Highly recommended. I’ll certainly be back.

The apartment is spotless, beautiful, stylish, clean, fragrant, comfortable and super well located. Fabrizio is a very friendly and kind host, responsive and always willing to help. My stay in Cape Town was perfect.

Fabrizio’s place was great! The place itself is comfortable, stylish and functional for what we wanted. We stayed for a week and were able to cook a bit which was nice. Bars on Long St nearby are noisy, but to be expected with the location. Fabrizio was awesome with communication and checked in on us throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place.

The flat was really beautiful and near to the city centre. It was worth to stay there.

Fabrizios place was amazing. It was exactly as described and had a wonderful homey feeling to it. Since it is very central, there is some noise at night, but the windows do quite a good job at muting that. The place has everything you need and check in and check out was very smooth. Fabrizio kindly checked in with us every now and then and accommodated all our questions rapidly. I can definitely recommend Fabrizio’s place 100%!

Myrtle Houseboat is just lovely, and perfect for a quiet and peaceful break. Julia is exemplary in her very comprehensive explanation of how everything works aboard ship. The decor and fit out is quirky, with lots of personal, interesting touches and very comfortable. We loved fishing off the end of Myrtle, although without success. A very different and exciting mode of accommodation, and one that we would highly recommend. Great fun all round! Thanks again Julia.

Our stay at the houseboat was a blast. Probably one of the best thing you can do at the garden route. It is a kind of holiday in your holiday. Just enjoy the silence, the sun and the sea. It is sooo relaxing and driving the dingee is so cool. We will come back, for sure!

The villa is situated on the mountain side and to get to it you need to use a boat, this is a very unique experience. The house is rustic but super cool, and we loved staying there.

This place is awesome! We stayed here for two nights with our kids (3yr and 5yr). We totally loved it! If staying with kids, make sure they’re old enough to walk around freely, since the place is open and there are many steps and others thing parents can worry about. We had a very welcome by Francis, who helps you with your luggage (rowing it to the house). Going to the house is an adventure itself, wandering through the stream, climbing up the stairs. The house got everything you need and we had a comfortable stay. The restaurant close-by is lovely, make sure you bring breakfast and enjoy your meals at the Kaaiman River Restaurant. Some people are complaining about the sounds of the N2, we didn’t have any trouble with it at all. We thought it was quite funny guessing in the dark what kind of vehicle was climbing up/driving off the road. And there are enough forest sounds to focus on (no scary animals, just bugs and birds). Would definitely recommend this place!

This is a very unique and special spot. We loved kayaking with our girls to breakfast and the most amazing waterfall! The railway bridge across the beach is hauntingly beautiful, and we’ve never seen so many oyster catcher birds in one place before. It was pure magic. The villa itself is basic, and the kitchen and lounge both outdoors, but this adds to unexpected charm of the place. Be sure to pack all your food away properly, as there is a civet cat with a city pallet about. Oh and how charming to be collected with our luggage by rowboat by friendly Francis! Just loved the whole experience. Thanks Gustav!

We enjoyed our stay so much here! It was such an amazing experience to stay right on the water with such a great view and seclusion. We were a little unsure of having to cross the river each time by kayak but it all worked out great and we had a blast! Would love to stay here any time!

What a lovely stay in this truely breathtaking apartment in clifton, cape town. The view is stunning and the location is amazing right at clifton first beach, further you reach the beach directly via elevator - which was new even to us. Robyn is an excellent host (communicates very well, fast and caretaking) and even the staff around the building is very friendly, helpful and professional. Even if you rent a car and the parking spot is perfect...if the car likes a nice ocean view too 🤷🏼‍♂️😉. Want a perfect stay in capetown? This apartment is what you should book!

The location is stunning; Clifton Beach is by far the nicest stretch of beach(es) we saw along the coast and being able to watch the sunset from the sofa or bed was perfect. Its a lovely walk to Camps Bay where there is an abundance of good dining options.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment of Nadja & Darryl! Darryl was already waiting for us, showed us the apartment and gave us some nice tips, especially for going out for dinner and how to get to the beach. The wonderful apartment is very special and is located perfect to get everywhere important. It‘s a save area and you can park your car right beside the apartment! We would absolutely have another stay when we‘ll come back to Mosselbay!

A lovely loft space with private sundowner terrace perfect after a day in the sun or on the beach . Great location close to good restaurants and the harbour although a very steep road back after a night out!

Lisa’s space is amazing and especially recommend if you’re doing an extended stay (3+ nights) Nestled up in the hills of Cape Town, the neighborhood is quiet and feels really safe. There is also a grocery store around the corner and a handful of great restaurants in walking distance. (Highly recommend The Red Sofa). The apartment itself has an amazing view of the city and the decor is extremely unique and eclectic— but also warm, giving it a real sense of home. My husband and I loved it— while traveling, we like to do a mix of hiking and touristy stuff— but also grab some groceries and spend a day or two (or even just a meal or two) in.. or on the terrace in this case! So this place was perfect. Homey— but also just a 10-15 min Uber ride anywhere.

We spent the last days of our 4.5 week journey through South Africa with Lisa in this delightful apartment. It was the culmination of our trip and we felt totally comfortable and well looked after. It is clean, everything you need is there and there are so many details to discover in this small museum. Lisa is so friendly and helpful and the view is just stunning.
