very pleasant stay in this beautiful home renovated. The hosts are friendly. Small flat stairs that allows access to the master bedroom on the second floor are a bit slippery (steep). Otherwise no complaints, everything was perfect.

Karima's house is very modern renovated and very clean. Everything you need is there: coffee, sugar, cheese, dishwasher tablets, towels, airconditioning, the beds are made. The D417 is a very busy road. The house is well isolated so we had no inconvenience with noise. But when you leave the parking place with your car you have to be a bit patient before you can drive. The house is situated on a perfect place for both the mountains of the Vosges and the wine villages of the Alsace. We can surely recommend this house.

Pretty housing brand new, well equipped, over 3 floors, charming. Very pleasant. great welcome. What do a little dej ready in the fridge (orange juice, jam, yogurt, etc ...), it's always fun when we arrived. The area is nice, but it takes a car to move freely to Colmar and surroundings. Very welcome John and his wife despite our late arrival. Housing perfectly matched the description and the area was quiet and beautiful. We had an 8 month old who loves to grow to 4 feet and the accommodation was very Secure, which was important to us. We highly recommend and will come back with pleasure at Jean!

What a fantastic place!! The apartment is perfectly equipt and even nicer than on the photos. The people are lovely, very kind and helpful and the location of the town is very picturesque with many nice walks and easy to get to colmar and other parts of Alsace. We highly recommend and would love to come back.

The jean apartment and his family complies with pictures and description. It is located below their housing and has a separate entrance via the garage. Their heating systems to using a wood boiler can efficiently heat the apartment and crossing regularly, in turn, members of the family always available to answer our questions. We were greeted superbly by our hosts with gourmet present. The state of maintenance and cleanliness is impeccable. The apartment is located just 5 minutes from Munster and 25 minutes of Colmar and the first ski resorts. Again thank you to them for a lovely stay.

We felt very comfortable with Jean. The details were all correct, it was very clean, the apartment is equipped with everything you need and Jean has welcomed us very warmly and early! The grandma, who lives also in the house is also really dear and you immediately feel comfortable with the family :) As a trip destination we would highly recommend the Lac Blanc in Orbey for the people who like to make hikes with fantastic views!

Nice and calm place, but very close to Colmar and Turckheim. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was plenty and the home made confitures brought me back to my grandmother ;-) Nice people and nice dog, our children loved to play with him.

We had a great time over at Patricia's home. The rooms were clean and our son played a lot with their little boy. He really enjoyed the stay. The coffee and tea were delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant and calm.

We were welcomed warmly. Our expectations were far exceeded. The house is situated in a pretty street with beautiful half-timbered houses. The center can be reached in less than 5 minutes. The house itself is spacious and cozy. The room appealing and great. Kitchen and dining room were shared. This posed no problem because the hosts were confident in every respect, open and warm. We are as "strangers" came and went as "friends". Beautifully found the children in the house that sporadically a three year old boy was there, who was a great playmate. Overall a very successful stay, which unfortunately was too short.

Proposed by Patricia room is simple with very easy access parking in front of the house. The home is worth seeing and lunch is homemade bread accompanied by a discussion with the mistresses of places, can seduce you. Worth seeing and probably return.

Patricia and Elodie gave us a warm and friendly welcome; We are all of us felt well result in the house! Breakfast was top (with small homemade cookies too!) Around interesting conversations. It is very easy to talk to Patricia and Elodie whom we thank for their help and hospitality! And The house is ideally situated in a quiet village in the countryside (very beautiful by the way!) And really close to tourist sites (Colmar, and the villages of the wine route).

We stayed in this fabulous apartment for a week and would have gladly stayed for longer. Soultzbach-les-Bains is an excellent base to explore the Vosges and the heart of Alsace. There was a warm welcome to the apartment, which is even better than illustrated by the photos; the garden is a delightful place to relax after a day's walking or sightseeing. Well equipped and located in very close proximity to a bakery and a bar/restaurant, the apartment is peaceful and comfortable. We'd happily return, should the opportunity arise.

We spent in the most hottest time of the summer 10 day Soultzbach, the cool flat and shaded seating area in the garden were to also be suitable as the forests of the Vosges, whose crest can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The Wagner added us very well, with facilities and state of the apartment we were very pleased.

We were so very happy to have stumbled upon this listing on AirBnB. We were wanting to visit the Colmar Christmas market(s) and this seemed a decent choice (about 15km's from Colmar). Turns out to be in the middle of the most magical (French, Alsace) village, and from our perspective the BEST choice. Straight out of a movie - except it was for real! We can't really comment on local restaurants/patisserie etc as everything was shut for the New Year holidays..... we bought our own food at the U-market in Munster (about 5 km's up the road) and found everything we needed to cook our own meals, as required, in the well-appointed kitchen. Oh yes - we did buy an excellent quiche at the Boucherie just up the road, which was just about to close, when we arrived (5 pm). The apartment was warm thanks to underfloor heating (essential when we visited), and made a for a wonderfully warm home-coming each time we returned from the snowy outside - yes it was cold and there was residual snow - making the streets and roofs even more picturesque and magical. Bathroom and all apartment fixtures and fittings of superb quality, all excellent. It was a bonus to be able to use the washing machine to do our essential laundry, while in the middle of our 4 week trip. Hubert was incredibly welcoming, both before our trip, and when we arrived. All questions we had were answered, quickly and accurately. Hubert even went to the trouble to add a picture of the roll-away bed to the AirBnB listing, as we were wondering where our (adult) daughter was going to sleep. Hubert also rearranged his work schedule to ensure he was there to welcome us, as we planned on arriving before 5 pm (his preferred and listed arrival time) - we wanted to arrive during daylight - so we preferred to arrive at about 4 pm. All was as expected - in fact even better! Apart from visiting Colmar and Strasbourg (both within easy reach of Soultzbach-les-Bains) we explored the Vosges mountains in this area, looking splendid in a layer of recent snow, and enjoyed the fact that much of this area/roads were included on the 2014 route of the Tour de France (we are fans!). We also visited nearby Eguisheim - the most picture-prefect Alsace village you could ever imagine (award winning). For the record, we ate a memorable meal in Munster in virtually the only restaurant we could find open on new year's day, Brasserie Au Petit Pecheur - very good.

We had a great stay in this very cute and well-maintained apartment over Easter. Hubert explained how everything worked on the first night and responded promptly to all our questions. His wife also spent time explaining to us activities we could do with our kids in the area. The apartment has everything you need, in particular the kitchen is well equipped so we were able to cook there. They even provided a baby chair for our 5 month son and they also have a baby cot. The town is very quiet but we really enjoyed that. The patisserie also is small supermarket which was good to have close by (literally 1 min walking). It just was a really comfortable and enjoyable place to stay and they made us feel very welcome. Perfect location also for visiting the surrounding towns.

Hubert was very cordial and responsive from the start. When we arrived his daughter kindly showed us in and around. The apartment is with high end finished throughout, very cozy, everything one could have hoped for. There is a coffee maker for filtered coffee, not always a given in France. Just a small token of attention to detail throughout. The town very picturesque, lovely area.

I think I've done Airbnb something like 50 times and have probably never had hosts as kind or welcoming as Fred & Anne. My girlfriend and I didn't have a car and Fred came to pick us up at the airport for the same price as if we had taken the bus, minus the hassle. Once we settled in our hosts offered us information on where to travel in the valley and gave suggestions on what to eat. Breakfast was provided each day when we woke up. Anne is an excellent cook and she made us excellent dinner. Despite the language barrier we enjoyed some great conversations, especially with a few glasses of wine! On the weekend they took us along to Le Petit Ballon for berry picking and hiking. I highly recommend staying here for an authentic Alsatian experience. Even without a car it's very easy and affordable to get around the valley (the train station which has a direct connection to Colmar is less than 10 min walk away). Especially for younger people who are comfortable hitch-hiking, you can easily get a ride here. These people should be superhosts, there is no question.

The location is very convenient for discovering Alsace. It is close to everything important but not noisy and the air is really fresh. The hosts are very nice and friendly people, helped us with pieces of advice and recommendations. The place itself is a cosy one, equipped with everything we needed. We came late at night (nearly 2 a.m.) and were welcomed uncomplicatedly. The rooms are not big, but very nicely built, with a lot of love for little details. E.g. the table near the kitchen can be moved along a rail so that you can either pass through into the kitchen or sit on both sides of the table. Our host gave us real good hints for hiking and a map.

I went with a friend to the vosges to enjoy some running in the hills/mountains. Staying with Jean-Luc was really great! We were welcomed very warmy (even though we arrived really late in the night) and got immediate help with navigating around the neigbourhood and exploring potential nice trails (even could you two maps they had). The accomodation itself was ok, enough space and all things that are mentioned where there. I would deffinitely go back there !

Wir haben 3 schöne Tage mit den Gastgebern zusammen in dieser Unterkunft gelebt, und alles war perfekt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzhaft, freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist wohl kaum zu übertreffen, schönes Haus, angenehme Zimmer, eigenes Bad, gemütlicher Garten, von den Gastgebern zubereitetes reichhaltiges Frühstück... Wir würden jederzeit mit Freude wieder in dieser Unterkunft wohnen!

Toller Aufenthalt für die Entdeckung der Weihnachtsmärkte, idealerweise an der Kreuzung aller schönsten Dörfer in der Gegend! ruhige Unterkunft in einem entspannten, geräumigen Zimmer in einem privaten Boden, ein wenig mehr Privatsphäre zu halten. Die Familie begrüßte uns mit offenen Armen, gute Beratung, Verfügbarkeit narrensicher, vor allem die Benutzerfreundlichkeit, die natürlich macht man sich wohl fühlen und in guter Gesellschaft! Wir können nur den Reisenden empfehlen bei Claire Mathieu und ihre Kinder zu stoppen!

Claire et Matthieu sont des hôtes très charmants, ils ont su nous mettre à l'aise dès notre arrivée. Ils ont pris le temps de discuter avec nous et de nous donner quelques conseils sur des randonnées à faire. Quant à la maison, elle est décorée de façon épurée ce qui est très agréable. Elle est parfaitement propre, très bien rangée et fonctionnelle.

Great place! The cottage is really cozy, the installation is at the top, everything is equipped, the bathrooms are modern could not be more ... We had a great weekend! Not to mention the hosts, very friendly and accommodating! Would recommend for groups, families or couples!

Marie's house is the perfect place for a group of friends to spend time together. Beautifully built and finished with very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchens and lots of bathrooms 18 people can comfortably have a fun weekend all together. We were particularly impressed with the sound proofing as the noise from the echoey downstairs hall was easily shut out from the sleeping areas if you remembered to close the doors. Marie was a great host - she prepared the beds exactly how we needed them and was on hand for any other enquiries. Many thanks!

Conclusion: Good but too expensive and promises more than it stops. We spent wonderful days in Alsace. The hosts were very nice and showed us the house in great detail. The decor is tasteful and the beds are good. We were 8 people. And to think that with 10 also goes well, it is tight, especially in the Community spaces that did very little light. The spa is still in the making, so it could not be used as described. There are still some "construction sites". With young children, it is because of the many stairs, the very large gaps have not suitable.

Our Family of four spent two weeks in Francoise's house. The house is beautifully located, with a nice view to the Vosges Mountains from the terrace. Francoise is very helpful and easy to communicate with, even in English. She had everything ready when we arrived and even prepared a baby seat and baby bed, and some toys for our children. Two things you might want to know. Francoise live in the house, so you cannot be sure to be alone there. On the positive side, she is very helpful and will do her utmost to make you feel at home. Second issue is that the kitchen, even though being big and well equipped, is a little dirty. To sum up, we enjoyed our stay in Francoise's house very much. The location is perfect, in the heart of the Alsace wine road, yet located just 3 km outside the nearest touristy place, Turckheim. There is a winery just 200 meters from the front door, a baker (that is opened only in the morning), and a nice restaurant all in Zimmerbach. For other shopping, you need a car to go to one of the other villages nearby.

Excellente base de séjour pour visiter la région. L'accueil de Françoise a été parfait, elle a vraiment tout fait pour nous permettre de passer un très bon moment à Zimmerbach (au point de chercher deux vélos pour permettre à tous de sortir sans avoir à en louer sur place). A recommander.

Francoise vous accueillera chaleureusement dans sa paisible (URL HIDDEN) d'une immense terrasse où il fait bon s'attabler, paresser, tout en profitant d'une vue magnifique sur les hauteurs.

Marie-Eve is a fantastic host and I was honoured to be her first guest on Airbnb. She was friendly and extremely helpful to accommodate us on very short notice in the evening given an original booking was cancelled last minute. She even helped us to call a local restaurant to make sure they could serve us dinner as it was getting late. We could only speak English, but this was not a problem for Marie-Eve. Most other locals only spoke French as you would expect in a remote village, but I think this is good if you want to practice and enjoy the whole experience. The house is beautiful and in a lovely, quiet village. Many countryside, winding roads to visit other villages and highlights, so car is recommended unless you are a very fit cyclist! Everything was clean, and even two bottles of water was offered in the room (nice touch). I would definitely visit again as Marie-Eve and her husband are such nice people. Good luck with hosting on airbnb, as I am sure many more travellers would love to meet and stay at this wonderful place
