These apartments are located in a picturesque part of the world; up the quiet end of the majestic Lake Bohinj. Outdoor activities are all around and the gondola to Vogel Ski Resort is a short drive away. The apartment had everything we needed and had a nice upstairs bedroom. Jaka was very easy to deal with and offered much helpful advice when we arrived.

The apartment was nice and clean. Everything was as described and shown on the pictures. The surrounding of the house is very quite and the nature is picturesque. And not to to forget: Jaka is a very nice host to talk to. He gave us a lot of information what to do in our holiday. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

We were absolutely amazed upon our arrival at Alpik Apartments! One could not imagine a more beautiful facility, or more incredible setting. The Julian Alps tower above in the near background, and virgin forests fringe the edges of the property. The buildings are lovely, of traditional Alpine design and new construction, with flowerboxes overflowing with brilliant blooms at every window. The extensive grounds include a naturalistic fireplace for outdoor cooking, with tables and chairs arranged on a patio just a few steps away from the pristine Savica River. The ground-floor apartment we occupied for two nights was amazing! It’s spotless, large, bright and airy. A large bedroom adjoined a separate and well equipped kitchen, with a spacious bathroom just beyond. All the interior construction appeared to be custom carpentry of the highest skill, and very new. There’s tongue-and-groove ceiling, hardwood cabinetry and doors, a built-in hardwood wardrobe and ample shelving for convenient storage. The kitchen has a full supply of cutlery, tableware and cooking supplies, a small refrigerator, microwave, full stove/oven, dishwasher, and nice seating area. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The bedroom has a large and very comfortable bed with night tables on each side, a flat screen TV with satellite connection (though watching TV will be the last thing on a visitor’s agenda when staying in Lake Bohinj!) The comfort level was of the highest order, and we could have enjoyed an indefinite stay within the apartment before ever needing a single additional amenity. Our host, Jaka, is an excellent fellow, an outdoors sportsman who takes full advantage of his surroundings. He’s a rock climber, skier and mountaineer, and a member of the stewardship committee of nearby Slap Savica, the beautiful and famous waterfall a short distance away. He’s friendly and interesting, and eager to provide a variety of useful information to make the most of one’s stay in the region. Alpik is quite close to a variety of important area sites. The base station for the Vogel Ski Center gondola lift is two minutes away by auto. As mentioned, the crystal-clear (and drinkable!) waters of the Savica River flow just behind the property, less than 100m from the apartments. The footpath to Slap Savica begins just a short distance further on. An excellent bar and restaurant, Don Andro, is a 10 minute walk away. A 10 minute drive, or maybe a 20 minute bicycle ride, all along the lakeshore road, brings one to the activity center of Bohinj district at the east end of the lake. There can be found the tourist information center, bicycle and canoe rentals, a grocery, a massive natural climbing wall and outdoor entertainment complex, access to the lakeboat cruiseline, and not to be missed, the beautiful medieval Church of St John the Baptist on the other side of the iconic stone bridge. We loved our stay in Bohinj, and at the perfect Alpik Apartments. We fully intend to return for a longer visit, and recommend it unreservedly to everyone.

Jaka prepared everything for our arrival. Extremely attentive and gentle. He spent time with us suggesting and explaining to us the tour options. The fit is ideal for exploring the region. It is in a small paradise. There is a stream in the back of the apartment and it's wonderful just to hear the sound of the rushing river. The pictures represent perfectly what is the place.

We had a wonderfull trip in Slovenia. Boris is very nice, he is always ready to help and advise you. The apartment is easy to find and ideal for visiting the area. Tolmin is near all the things to see. It's a very nice place.

Boris and his partner were brilliant hosts. We couldn't have asked for more helpful, kind and lovely people. We had a car problem and Boris was most kind in helping us sort it. The room was perfect, very clean and comfortable with everything you need and lovely wee extras like a chocolate on your pillow. Would strongly recommend them as hosts!!

Tout est très propre, largement assez grand pour deux et le lit vraiment bon. Boris a été un très bon hôte, très agréable, et qui prend le temps de nous parler de sa région et des activités alentours. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous savons où nous arrêter !

The only point to complain, had been the weather, but that's out of reach, even for Eduard. He was a perfect host, flexible and keen to make our stay a pleasure. The apartment is very nice and located absolutely quiet. I would always recomend...

Soca Valley is generally a great place to spend some time while visiting Slovenia. Depending on weather, you can easily combine different outdoor activities: hiking, rafting, paragliding, swimming, sightseeing, trips to Austria and Italy. In my opinion, the Krn Apartment complements and fits into all of these very well - it's a modern and cozy apartment located in a very peaceful small village between Tolmin and Kobarid.

A very scenic location near the river. There is a fairly busy road adjacent but no road noise at night. You would need to have a car if staying here to access shops, eateries and the magnificent Soca River Valley. The apartment is modern and well appointed. Ales was a great host, helpful but not at all intrusive.

Ales heeft ons erg vriendelijk ontvangen. Zijn uitleg was duidelijk en uitgebreid, we konden hem echt alles vragen. Het appartement is echt meer dan de moeite waard! Het is ruim, zelfs met onze drie kinderen, licht, modern, voorzien van alles, schoon en lekker koel. De ligging is ook prima, lekker rustig, dichtbij de rivier, maar toch ben je ook snel in twee hele fijne dorpen van waaruit je wandelingen kan ondernemen, allerlei winkels en voorzieningen zijn en je ook allerlei buitensportactiviteiten kan ondernemen. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

We thouroughly enjoyed staying at Franc's place, who was very welcoming and most helpful. The appartment is comfortable, bright, very quiet and clean. We found it perfect for us and our 2 children and took advantage of the many activities in the area.

The house is situated in a ideal location, quiet and charming, and with direct access to walking and biking trails, which was perfect for us. The apartment was nice, clean and had all the necessary facilities, just as the pictures showed. Franc is an amazingly friendly and charming man who we were happy to meet. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the neighborhood and we highly recommend staying here!

when we reached a lady franc arranged was waiting for us, the place was easy to find, communication was easy, since franc was int the hospital he cudnt meet us the day we came but he came over to the appartment later.

Lots of superlatives needed to describe Tjasa's place and her and her brilliant family's consummate hosting style. Outstanding choice for a base for a young family to make the most of the superb Soča Valley. Immaculately clean with everything exceeding descriptions and expectations. Great to have the village grocery store so adjacent and the riverside delights, activity center and great food of the awesome Labrca complex just a pleasant 15-min walk through the fields. Highly recommended: we'll be back!

Oh, Tolmin! We had the best possible holiday one could ever ask for in lovely Tjasa's apartment! The apartment itself was very spacious, super clean and fresh and had all the necessities. The fact that we could have homecooked meals on the terrace, looking out over sheep and mountains is just amazing. The surroundings really are mind-blowing and so is the fact that there is a pool! As hosts Tjasa and her family were very welcoming, easy to communicate with and very flexible! They were understanding towards the fact that one couple in our travelling group didn't manage to find decent housing, and let us all stay together - we cannot appreciate this enough! I would highly recommend this house to all and everyone.

Anja was super fast with reply. It took me five minutes to rent the apartement. Place is in strict center of Tolmin. It is great for exploring the town and nature during summer or attending one of many famous music festivals in Tolmin.

We stayed only one night and the apartment was acceptable and covered our needs. It was well located and it had well equipped kitchen. However, the two-story bedroom was a bit uncomfortable. You had to be careful when going downstairs.

It has been a great stay at Anja's beautiful apartment. Thank you very much for an easy and friendly communication! We would come back at any time! :-)

The beams in the flat give a rustic atmosphere. It is possible to cook there. There are cheesemakers in the next village as well as a wonderful gorge.

It was a pleasure to stay in Pauls house. Very tasteful inside, a lot of space, everthing clean and well prepared. Our children liked the location because there is also small garden an many little excoursions around. Tourist Information Center just downstairs - open for all questions. The neighbours are very nice and usefull as well. We will come back ....

We had three wonderful nights in Tolmin in Poul's apartment. The apartment was fantastic and incredibly tasteful. Clean, neat and nice cool in the hot summer. The neighbor was extremely helpful and sweet. Many things were in walking distance, there were many fine cafes close, we were on the river rafting and went to Tolmin Gorge. We will definitly go back to Slovenia.

We were met by Paul's friend Eduard, who gave us the key and info about the apartment. The apartment is delightful, beautifully designed, and very well-equipped. Paul left us a bottle of very good wine and lovely breakfast items. It was a pleasure to stay there, and we did not want to leave.

Paul was a fantastic communicator prior to us arriving at the property. The keys were left in the door when we arrived as agreed with his neighbour Natasha. However Natasha did not meet us or check that things were ok while we are at the property. The property was comfortable and stylish. There was no welcome pack when we arrived. The location was good. We were able to visit the Tolminski Gorge , hire bikes and cycle to local villages.

This was my 3rd visit to Tolmin for the Metaldays festival, and whilst we’re all hardened campers we’re also getting a bit older so thought we’d book the Town House for a bit of extra comfort... and boy, what a comfortable place it is! To be fair it’s such a lovely apartment it was somewhat wasted on us as we didn’t spent nearly enough time there. It’s very clean, very high spec and kitted out with everything you could possibly need (even down to a blue tooth stereo!), and this has all be presented and in a very stylish but homely fashion. The photos shown really do reflect what the place looks (URL HIDDEN) clever camera trickery here. You’re located in the centre of town and only a short walk/drive from some truly amazing beauty spots like the Soca River, Tolmin Gorge, Beri Water Falls just to name a few. I plan to return to Tolmin for a non-festival-holiday at some point and plan to re-book. This place would be ideal for travelling couples as well as a family holiday. I’m loathed to big it up for the festival goers just in case I want to book again but for those visit for the festival this is a real gem! Its right in town and is just 5 minutes walk down the hill to the festival site. The shower and freezer alone are worth what is actually a very cheap daily rate considering the space and comfort you get for you money. Whilst I’ve never met the owner Paul in person he is incredibly accommodating and very helpful when you ask questions. It’s been a real pleasure booking with him. For anyone that’s not been to Slovenia before but been thinking about it, I say go! It’s an amazing country and Tolmin, and this town house is a great spot to start your adventure!

My friends and me stayed for three nights in Pauls apartment and we absolutely enjoyed it! It has a perfect size and is beautifully furnished. We felt very comfortable and had friendly neighbours. The whole area of the julian alps is amazing and a paradise when you love outdoor activities.

We had a wonderful stay in Tolmin. Aleš is a very friendly host and made us feel welcome from the very first minute. The apartment is nice and clean, modern and cosy. I wish I had such pretty bathroom tiles :-) We came here to go rafting or kayaking, the location is ideal but I do think you need a bike or car to go to the rafting/kayaking center in Kobarid or Tolmin center. Aleš suggested to go to Kobarid (since that's closer), so we ended up with A2 rafting and had an awesome time! Thanks for everything Aleš.

The flat is very nice, very clean, new Equipment. The location of the flat is very good, just a few foot steps from the river soča. And the view from the veranda is beautiful. We stayed with 4 adult people in the flat, we sleeped all very well ( bed and bed couch are nice). After a sport day the flat is a perfect place to relax. I really can recommend this flat. Nice and spacious rooms in a newly refurbished, clean apartment with a nice welcoming style. Great accommodation for hiking, rafting in the Soca valley. 5 of us slept in the apparent, and the rooms were great and spacious for 5 person, however the bathroom was a bit tiny (no separate restroom). We did not meet Karl in person, but he was very helpful in our email exchange, gave good tips and also arranged everything for our arrival.

The apartment was perfect!! Eduard was very helpful and always responded to communication quickly. He even gave us a bottle of wine as a welcome! The living room was beautiful featuring original artwork painted by Eduard's wife. There are DVD's and games available but we never watched TV because there are so many amazing things to do in the area. The kitchen has everything you could need and the outdoor kitchen area was a wonderful experience on the warm summer nights to barbeque and drink wine while watching the fireflies and the clear starry night sky. Both bedrooms were really comfortable and the bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of warm water for several people to shower in a row. The apartment is a short 5 minute walk to the Soca River where you can fly fish. It is centrally located for hiking, rafting, fishing, or paragliding. Eduard gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area, rafting companies, and fly fishing guides. I would definitely return and would highly recommend the apartment!
