The apartment is spacious and clean, with a stylish kitchen, very comfortable seating area, and an amazing view of the city from the spacious terrace. The are many nice touches that make the apartment special. Also it is well located near the historic center and close to free parking. Like many places in Sicily, you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the apartment, and more inside as it has three levels. Overall we were very happy, and would definitely stay again. Biagio is a wonderful host. He is so kind and accommodating and easy to communicate with. He truly made us feel welcome.

Great host and nice atmosphere

Biagio is an excellent hosts and is extremely helpful and available despite not being on site. The house/ cave is breathtaking on entry with thoughtful touches everywhere, and a fantastic balcony with stunning views over Ragusa! If you’re using both bedrooms it’s great as you have plenty of privacy with the ground floor bedroom having an en-suite with shower, and the bedroom on the top floor having use of the fully equipped bathroom on the first floor. If arriving by car we would recommend leaving it in the car park at the bottom of the hill as you come into Ragusa Ibla and walking to the house as it’s a little tricky to find initially, but once you know where it is it’s really well positioned... we still left the car in the car park tho! This was a tremendous find and we would strongly recommend staying there... Thankyou Biagio!!

Perfect host, took the time to show us around the premise, unlike the usual hand-you-the-key-and-leave hosts. The most dedicated host yet!

Exactly what we expected. A nice out of the way proper B&B with a massive Italian dinner rider to boot! Antonio is a real character. Wish he didn't have to work most of the weekend so we could have interacted more of him. This is a great spot to stay for two nights. Do the big dinner on your first night and you'll have a full tank for the Valley of the Gods the next day. Then hit Antonio's to unwind. For sure, listen to everyone who says to eat a light lunch if you do the dinner. It's a lot, but very much worth it. My wife and I were very happy here and recommend staying. (And she is normally more a fan of the antiseptic IKEA showroom apartments :-p ). We had no problems finding on Gmaps just plugging in what Antonio told us to search for, led us right to the front door, so not sure what issues others were having, I'm guessing car GPS. The kitten Flick was a nice bonus!

Oh man did we enjoy staying here! We came during the winter and arrived to a cozy house with a roaring fire. The space was perfect for us to relax in and there were so many interesting things in the house for us to look at. Antonio is welcoming and loves to share his passion for cooking and art. We really enjoyed our time with him and it was definitely a treat for us to stay here.

This was our favorite stay in all of Sicily. Antonio’s place requires your own transport but it is well worth it! 20 mins to all the tourist attractions...And his dinners were amazing!! Highly recommend!

Very cozy and quiet.

Antonio is a great host. With a big heart. We stayed in his home fore 2 nights. We rentet 2 rooms . Ordered dinner first day , 7-9 courses. With great wine. Antonio is a great cheif , and a recomend that you try dinner at his place. We sleeped well , and had a breakfast at his place. The next day we hade cooking class in his home, and learned how to cook great Sicilien food . Afterwards we ate our cookings. Thank you again Antonio. We hade 2 great evnings and nights at Antonios . With him and his friends. Thank you Antonio for letting us in to your home. And showing us great hospitality. I highly recommend his home for guest.

I had my eye on Antonio’s countryside cottage for quite some time, so when I passed through this area, I knew I had to stay Antonio picked me up at the train station and when I arrived at his place, he introduced to a young woman who was staying there, who was very enjoyable company. Soon my friends from Palermo arrived, and the four of us bonded over a wonderful dinner in the patio. We all enjoyed a trip to the Roman ruins the next day. We had two dinners and two breakfasts, all delicious. Antonio’s rustic countryside cottage was all I had hoped for and more. Full of character and books, it was warm and welcoming. There are three bedrooms. You can have the whole family stay. I hope to come back someday. Do not miss this opportunity if you are in this region.

The villa is amazing!! Exactly like the photos and even more beautiful in person - I was so happy to be able to stay at Andrea’s villa and he was an exceptional host!! His workers were great and if I’m ever in Augusta again I will definitely be back- having a car is a must due to the location but Andrea was very accommodating

The villa is very beautiful in a quiet surrounding and perfect for big groups. Andrea was very helpful and accomodating.

The space is beautiful and sprawling, with gorgeous fruit trees and an amazing rural setting. The people at the space were really helpful and Andrea was extremely responsive and accommodating as a host. He gave us some great tips of things to do and see. The second floor balcony is amazing!!! The view of Etna was so gorgeous, and it was great to be in proximity to Catania, Siracusa, Taormina, Etna, and even places a little further afield like Villa Romana Del Casale felt relatively easy to get to. There are three kitchens, the beds are comfortable, and if you’re not used to using on demand hot water boilers, just ask the helpful hosts for a tutorial on how to operate those.

Fantastic place with a very nice garden and swimming pool

Andrea was quick with all communications and very accommodating for my group. The house is amazing, rooms are spacious and the property is immaculate. This is a wonderful place to relax on a weekend (or longer) away. The rural setting has wonderful views.

Hi, we have stayed in the Vila for 6 days ( it was 9 of us). The place has 3 main apartments ( annex, upper apartment and the lower apartment). The place is easy to find ( we got lost a little bit so don’t use the Autostrada, it is way easier to reach it via local road). The place is close to Brucoli (lovely small city with an excellent fishmonger and beach bar). Andrea was a great host and Matthias helped a lot while we stayed there.

Great house to spend some days in Sicily. We were 8 adults and 5 children (6 - 12 years) and we booked the whole house. The small girls lived in the second floor all by theriself and they loved it. Adults lived in the main house ground floor and the 3 small apartments in the anex building. Te pool is perect, althought it looks larger in the pictures and video, but worked fine. Best from this house is the independent kitchen between the house and the pool, it is like a small kiosk so we use it as kitchen, bar and hangaround spot. Andrea lives in a small house in front of the property but he and his two guys working for him were very discrete when cleaning the pool or watering the garden. We have been spending vacations in Italy for 6 years now in different places and this house is on our top list now. Lovely small towns around, specially Carlentini, Augusta and Bruccoli.

Antonio is a fantastic, kind, cheerful, precise and helpful host. He made us feel at home immediately and gave us a lot of useful advice especially gastronomic! Great location, you are very close everywhere in Palermo :) Antonio is a very good host. Even before our arrival he was very helpful. Climate apartment, well equipped. But if you want to have privacy, intimacy, this is not a good place. Two bedrooms are open, on mezzanine, you can hear every sound. It has its charm, of course

Anotnio was simply amazing as well as his home. He met us on arrival and was very welcoming. The location of the air bnb is in the heart of the Old Town and is very easy to walk everywhere! It is an amazing old building with sculptures and marbel features with a very cool interior! HIGHLY RECCOMEND! This is a property not to be missed!

There is not much to add to the many positive reviews that were already posted here. Antoinio's apartment is indeed a quirkily arty and comfortable oasis above the historical centre of Palermo. Quiet and sunny in the day, one step away from buzzing friendly bars at night. And the host is as friendly and helpful as described. The place has a homely feel that competes with Palermo's many sites and draws you back "home" for a siesta or early night and makes it worth climbing the 132 steps of the magnificent entry stairs. We spent 8 days here and it is somewhere we would like to go back if we find ourselves in Palermo again. It sleeps four, but probably works best for a couple or three-four very good friends that don't mind sharing a bedroom, as there not really are any "private" rooms (apart from the bathroom! :)

This two-level apartment is located in an old palazzo. It is elegant, has all the amenities you could want and you can’t beat the location!!! Antonio has been a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and would come back any time.

It was a good location for sightseeing around the city and the suburbs and was safe. The hostel was cozy and Antonio was happy to respond quickly to the need.

Very beautiful apartament, bedroom for a couple and then two single rooms. perfect for a family. Since we were there off season we could afford at for a couple. Nice and clean bathroom. The best is simply the kitchen with the best view ever. The terrace is huge! Morning yoga was the best I ever had! Alex is a quick responder and gave me tips for wineries and vineyards right away when I needed. Thank you! The are of the town is poor, everything closed but you can drive with a car for just a few minutes to get for ever needed. The access to the beach is not really good and it's not exactly clean either. The place felt kind of abonded (also industrial). But if your looking for peace and some morning run like us it was okay. :) The apartmanet is beautiful, there is 3 floor building and you have the top one. :)

The stay was problemless, we quickly found the address and were able to get inside. I appreciate the special parking lot close to the door. Well, and the terrace almost round the flat with the gorgeous views was amazing. Also the close location to Turkish Stairs and Agrigento was pleasant. I recommend.

Alex & Fre apartment has evening thing is needed for short or long stay. Easy to get in with self check in. Wonderful sea view from balcony. Private parking. In my opinion one of the best spot to stay in Agrigento, just 10 minutes by car from Valle dei Templi.

Nice flat good spot to go to Scala dei Turchi, the temples, Agrigente and have a breakfast face to the sea ! Perfect!

the apartment is perfectly located, between the ancient and modern city, you can walk everywhere easily (if you don't mind all the steps in Ragusa :) Gaetano was very welcoming, his apartment is well equipped, we had a nice evening cooking there and Ragusa is really beautiful

We have now stayed in three similar homes to this and have to tell you Gaetano’s is the best of the three. The location is between Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore and therefore you are in for a lot of stairs no matter where you go. This is both the charm and the challenge of these extremely old cities. However, it is totally worth it! The home is two levels, with lots of natural light on the second floor and in the first floor bedroom. This is difficult to find in this style of home. The others we have stayed in have had little or no natural light. The furnishings are quite perfect for your stay. The bed extremely comfortable. Two bathrooms were lovely, one on each floor. It was chilly in February but we were able to be very comfortable using the split heaters in the bedroom, living room and kitchen. There is an open area outside the home and that was perfect for sitting out and hanging laundry after using the great laundry machine on the second floor. Now to the host: Gaetano is fantastic. He had many things bought in for us for breakfast and lots of staples (vinegar, spices) in the cupboards. He made everything incredibly easy for us and was extremely attentive if we needed help. I enjoyed getting to know him and to learn more about the history of the community we were in. Don’t miss staying here! Thanks Gaetano!

The experience was great and definitely worth it. The home was very cute and was in the perfect spot. There are stairs but it wasn’t that many. And everything was walking distance but with a lot of stairs. It wasn’t that bad though. The host was very responsive with any questions or problems we had. I highly recommend

Absolutely lovely and stylish apartment near parking in Ragusa Ibla. A bit cold in the winter.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Gaetano’s historic family home. Gaetano is a thoughtful and gracious host. A rare gem on AirBnB nowadays when there are so many properties to choose from! Gaetano greeted us on arrival and had already curated a list of restaurant recommendations - having read on my profile that I am a foodie! PS - his recommendations were spot on fantastic. The house itself is clean, comfortable, quite spacious, and very quiet. One can tell a lot of love and care went into renovating the home - from the decorative touches and old photographs on the wall. The house is nestled between Ragusa Ibla and Superiore (which we discovered is the elevated part of the city, who would have thunk) - both of which are walkable - but come prepared for lots of stairs and bring your walking shoes! We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Thanks Gaetano!

GREAT! This is what Airbnb should be like. Laura and Gianluca are absolutely amazing and lovely hosts and pay a lot attention to make you feel at home. The beautiful cottage next to their lovely home has a separate entry and a lot of space to relax and enjoy your vacation. So it s a perfect mix between having privacy and getting to know each other! The Cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need, also for cooking! It s even prettier in reality ;-)! Communication was super easy and they always helped if needed. This place is wonderfully decorated and a true paradise. You can pick your own pomegranates every morning and enjoy the sunset on the rooftop. Laura has some very nice Tipps for you about activities in the area. If you need a peaceful time, this is the right place.

Unique location of its kind, spectacular, a pity to have stayed only 1 night, helpful and kind host

Laura's home is a real piece of paradise! The cottage is studied in detail by Laura, who has furnished it with great taste using recycled materials, and is equipped with all the comforts. Laura and her husband are very hospitable and have given us valuable advice on the most beautiful beaches to visit, the best restaurants in the area and anything else we wanted to discover in Pachino. Staying at Laura is ideal for enjoying relaxing days and for discovering a truly wonderful part of Sicily.

The cottage is MAGIC! Laura is a person with a sense of hospitality that is out of the ordinary. He created with his hands and with only recycled materials (selected with taste) a truly magical and welcoming place, simple and elegant, immersed in nature as if he were part of it. An unforgettable experience that I will repeat for a longer period. Recommended for those who love nature and silence. A vote? 6 stars! :)

Marina is a very friendly, helpful host: I don't have a driver's license and she and her husband took me on excursions and drove to the supermarket, were concerned for me and very, very kind to me! The property is perfectly furnished, three minutes walk from the beautiful beach and at the same time quiet. Everything great!

Spotlessly clean, well located and the heating is a real bonus in the winter.

Marina's place is simply amazing. Comfortable enough for two and sparkling clean. Even though Marina doesn't speak English the communication was smooth and easy. Furthermore, she knows how to spoil her guests with subtle touches. Highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Marina’s place. She had kindly provided water bottles and cannoli as a welcome gift. The terrasse with views over the sea and mountains is lovely and gets the morning sun. I can only recommend to anyone wanting to visit south-east Sicily or visiting the local beaches.

The accommodation is convenient and has a really nice, large terrace from which you can also see the sea. We enjoyed our stay!

A very beautiful place! It is not every day that you can stay in an old cellar. The garden is very pleasant and Sandra and Fabio very attentive. In winter it is a little cold but auxiliary heaters are available. A quiet place, perfectly located to cross the region.

Great care from the hosts. Very interesting and atmospheric object. However, to take full advantage of the charm of the place, you should plan your stay in the warmer period of the year (we were at the turn of January and February).

A wonderful house that contains the history of a family, a beautiful garden that houses a centenary olive tree, you will find two exquisite, attentive and kind people who will do everything possible to satisfy every need. The old winery is really unique. You can relax very well there. To get further away you definitely need a car. We were there in winter and in contrast to other apartments there is a proper heating (pellet stove). In summer, it is certainly pleasantly cool inside. Sandra and Fabio are really very nice.

The Century Old Winery is located in a beautifully rural setting and surrounded by goats and orange groves. It is a very unique and charming place with it’s own wonderful atmosphere. Steeped in history and restored to a good, clean and comfortable house with a huge common space and a nice garden with barbeque. It feels like living in the 18th century, but with all you need, including eg heating (fireplace upstairs and gas burners downstairs) and Wifi across the premises. It is a great opportunity If you're looking for a peaceful remote countryside retreat to get away from the city! The house is in the great location for visiting the east side of Sicily and there is a small town Floridia nearby that has any necessities you might need, but having a car is a must. The hosts, Sandra and Fabio, were very friendly and caring, and we all are appreciated their “little touches” and all the tips of local places, food, wine etc. We also enjoyed cats and a funny doggie walking around the territory :) We had a great time and we are grateful for the hospitality!

Atypical location, in the countryside, 20 minutes from Syraccuse. The owners are hospitable and available. A courtyard shaded by an arbor and a beautiful olive tree must probably be very pleasant summer.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our reservation. Giuseppe was very understanding about this. His communication was always quick and he had arranged to meet us and escort us to the accommodation. Hopefully we will come next year instead.

Giuseppe was very good host to us. We have enjoyed his service and hospitality in house. It is very nice location with beautiful view. You may expect windy weather in December with still comfortable temperature. We are looking forward to visit this place again.

A magical place, like a balcony over the sea with a wonderful view. Very easy to reach by car and you can walk to the village (less than half an hour). The village has a supermarket and several first-class restaurants - plus Giusppes Bar. Giuseppe is a wonderful host. Charming, helpful, uncomplicated. There is no better place to experience the romance of Sicily. The accommodation is sparkling clean, practically furnished, everything works, including the shower and it is so quiet that you can sleep wonderfully. And before falling asleep, the owls call - if the moon still shines when the owls call, then the Sicilian night is perfect ... Grazie Giuseppe!

We had a great time at Guiseppe! He is a great host and gave us a very warm welcome. Because we arrived so late in the evening, he had shopped for us and even brought food and dessert from his café for us! And he also gave us a bottle of his homemade olive oil! Delicious! The location of the house on the hillside overlooking the sea in the beautiful garden with olive and lemon trees is just fantastic! Unfortunately in November it was colder and rainier than we thought.

Our stay at Guiseppe's house was fantastic. If possible the photos do not do it justice. It is a little piece of heaven. We basically spent the whole time outside beside the pool and on the deck. He was great with communication before and during the stay. The view is stunning and the house is immaculate with everything you could need. A thoughtful touch of prosecco was left for us in the fridge with fresh flowers on the kitchen table. If you after a relaxing few days on the island then this is the place. Just over an hours drive from Palermo airport and a few lovely small towns nearby. We stopped off at a supermarket on the way so we didn't have to leave the house too much other than to explore the area. All in all we cannot recommend the house and Guiseppe enough. Loved it!

Where to start? Wow! The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is paradise. Watching the sunset and sunrise, swimming in the infinity pool, having dinner on the veranda was truly amazing. Giuseppe was the best host any traveller could ask for. He was so helpful, responses were Uber quick and recommendations spot on. The hospitality was lovely. We had a perfect honeymoon and would whole heartedly recommend. We booked a year in advance as, understandably, he is so busy. Get in quick! Thank you so much Giuseppe for sharing your paradise with us.

Giuseppe's place is a real paradise in Sicily. The luxury of the place is not so much inside (alltough the little house itself is very comfortable, with great shower and fully equipped kitchen), but is the complete setting of the house: a beautiful garden allong de coastline, with magnificent views over the sea; everywere places to sit in the shadow of trees; a infinitypool with the same great views; the sound of crickets all day long... It is indeed a lovely and private escape for two lovers. Giuseppe, the host, is a very nice & generous person. Happy to have met him.

We really had the most amazing vacations at Baglio Cappello. It's truly the most beautiful airbnb we've ever been to and we can totally recommend that place to everyone who's looking for a beautiful hideaway. Daniela was the perfect host, she always answered really fast, had the best tips (to Zingaro Naturale Reserve) and helped us with everything. We can't thank her enough for this magical stay with all her hospitality. The communication with Daniela during (and after) our stay was really exceptional, she was always available for our questions. We enjoyed our days at the perfect pool while cuddling with Fortu, the nicest and most friendly cat we've ever met (and we are badly missing now) and we are sure that we want to come back as soon as possible. The place was renovated with a lot of love and an effort. You enter a true architectural gem through a picture perfect courtyard - we were really overwhelmed by the beauty of this place, when we arrived after a long stressful journey. Daniela and her family are producing delicious olive oil, which she gave us a bottle of when we arrived, telling us "just to eat it with bread and olives". We did and we felt la dolce vita right away! Thank you so much Daniela!

Truly a paradise in the middle of an olive grove, the Baglio has a lot of personality in the live Daniela and her family that are very welcoming make you be at home, and if you need anything they care about you. The accommodation is 10, tranquility and design in an oasis with everything you need to enjoy your vacation, each corner has its charm and conveys peace. 100% recommendable. Baglio Cappello is one of the loveliest places we've been to. The entire family is so thoughtful, warm and welcoming, which gave us the feeling of being fully submerged into the Sicillian way of life for a week. Right at the end of the family courtyard is a wooden door that takes you to the appartment, where you can have complete privacy if wanted. This part of the Baglio is fully renovated and stunning. It's modernized but the details from the wine production it once had are still visible everywhere. There are seats and corners to sit everywhere, including deck chairs for sunbathing. An outside shower (heated) and additional toilet outside of the appartment so you don't have to walk into the house with wet swimming clothes. The pool is nothing short of magnificent and is bigger and deeper than we expected from the pictures. Ofcourse an adult will not be able to swim lanes, but at one point we had a handful of toddlers in the pool incl some parents and there was plenty of space. Inside, there is everything we needed. Small but effective kitchen with all necessary appliances, decent wifi, large bathroom, tv, airconditioning etc. Note that there are no doors in the bedrooms so you pretty much hear every sound in the house from your bed. Also, because Baglio Cappello is located outside of town, there can be some noise from the local night-fauna. We got used to it quickly. Furthermore, the house is quite cool even on hot days. Overall we had a great stay here and Daniela is rightfully a SUPERHOST. She responds quickly and is fun to be around. You instantly feel welcome once you arrive. She and her family will send you on your way with local tips and always seem to be on standby if you need help. We surely recommmend anyone to visit Baglio Cappello. Oh, one tip if you do: make sure to book a decent car. The location is about a 5-10 minute drive from the nearest town and takes you along a rocky dirtroad.

We found the apartment with ease and received a warm greeting from Santo. Santo was extremely informative and even offered to show us around the local area. The apartment was secure and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful from the apartment and we loved hearing the cathedral bells. It was a little noisy at night in the area, but it is a city so is to be expected and we didn't find it an issue! There was a street just over the road with 'ladies of the night', however we walked past the ladies and had no issues. At the end of this street, we turned right and found 'San Berillo District', where there was a quirky bar that had a characteristic outdoor area with plant features. Well worth the visit and they do amazing cocktails! There are supermarkets close to the apartment and the main restaurants and bars are all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. It was so lovely to wake up to the stunning view every day from the apartment. The location is perfect and we would definitely return. Santo is an amazing host and we loved our stay in this wonderful apartment.

Santo's place is wonderful - everything you could wish for with spectacular balcony view. Very well equiped, you have everything you could need in bathroom and kitchen. Location is good, maybe a little bit loud in the streets at night, but I think this is sort of normal for this neighbourhood. Santo is extremely helpful and easy to communicate. Definately recommend it!

Nice and cozy apartment. Very central and nice view. The area is ok. A 2 min walk will bring you to the very nice central area of Catania. Everything you need and most sights are in walking distance.

The host was a nice guy anyway. When I wasn't sure, he helped me as soon as I contacted me, which was very helpful. There is a short distance to the supermarket, but the market for Capo is right next to it and you can get cheap, delicious fresh ingredients. The market people were very kind. If you use it continuously, the hot water of the shower will not come out, but if you leave it for about an hour, you can use it without problems. One of the things I did without any difficulties during my three-day stay was thanks to the kind host. Thank you very much!

Indre and Vincenzo's studio gave us a great base to explore Palermo from. It felt like we had a truly authentic visit to the city and were walking distance from most of the main attractions and loads of places to eat and drink. Indrė and Vincenzo were excellent hosts! They were very friendly, helpful & gave us useful tips regarding our stay. The apartment is situated in a great location, near the old market where you can buy fresh local produce and try some of the best street food in Palermo. Everything you might need (sightseeing objects, restaurants and supermarkets) is located in a walking distance (we only used bus once to get to the central train station, took us about 10 mins). The apartment itself is very cozy and stylish. All in all, we had an amazing stay and hopefully will be coming back :)

Indre e Vincenzo are just great hosts! They really care about you and your experience in Palermo. The clean apartment has everything you need and is amazingly well located for easily walking to all of the many amazing sites of Palermo, as well as the great market on the next street and many good nearby restaurants. Angelo and Cristina were great hosts. We travelled by public transport and they were so nice to pick us up and drop us off by car at the trainstation of Circumetnea in Piedimonte. Also they hosted together with the international volunteers at their farm a great dinner or us, on our request vegan, a the final evening of our stay, despite their busy days harvesting olives. We though it would have been nice to help them out with some volunteering work, but understandably they wanted a clear separation between volunteers and guest. The room was great, our own kitchen was in a separate building outside and from there we had great views on the Etna and sea, on sunny days we had a great breakfast scenery. We really enjoyed our stay it this quite area at the northern slopes of the Etna

This was an absolute GEM! The location is so beautiful and relaxing,: view of Etna and the farm. Great spot to be close to Etna for hiking, wineries, and day trips. We would stay longer next time! Hello, A beautiful place, very spacious, original room with a large mosquito net, it is thought of everything - the outside kitchen was a lot of fun (the fridge filled with butter / milk / eggs etc, from the roof terrace we could Watching Etna smoke and spit, we were allowed to help with the grape harvest and were immediately integrated by the circle of friends and had a great meal of Angelo in a large circle - the self-made wine was delicious - to switch off, relax a great place with great hosts - gladly again- Thank you for your great hospitality (to the residents next to cat / dogs include lizards and Ministechmücken (that's why we were so pleased about the network)

If you want to completely unwind, you have to go to this place. Such a beautiful and quiet place with a lovely view. We really liked the outdoor kitchen. And as a finishing touch, Cristina was a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful week in Taormina - one week is sufficient to do most everything - Isola Bella, Teatro Antico , public gardens, Castelmola and of course the Etna. Thanks to the bad weather on the day after arrival, we experienced an amazing pack of snow below a windstil cloudless blue sky on Saturday. Massimiliano's B&B is conveniently located on short walking distance between the bus terminal, Funivia cable to the beach and touristic shopping centre. The appartment and terrace is spacious and has all one can wish, so we can recommend this B&B warmly to all who intend to visit Taormina.

We had a very pleasant stay. Francesco was very helpful and answered our questions quickly. The location is beautiful.

This cottage is one of the nicest air bnb spots that we have had so far. A nice, warm house which is fully equipped. It is the ultimate place to clear your head and unwind. A vast sea, beautiful sunrise, snorkeling at your door and freshly brewed coffee on the beach. When we were making our lunch, we always had to squeeze ourselves in the arm how beautiful the view is while you are cooking. We stayed here in October with our two kids. They have a wonderful time looking for crabs, shoveling sand and throwing stones into the sea. Often we were already on the beach at 8 am and you felt the sun tickle your skin. Francesco provided a warm welcome and sent a heap of tips on what we could do in the area. For us Syracuse / Ortigia in particular was one to remember but Noto is also an impressive beautiful city! But for the sake of honesty we regularly changed plans because it was simply too wonderful to leave our beach :-)! The cottage is fully equipped and you can shower with a sea view. Enough bed linen and towels and even little buckets and scoops for the kids had been thought of. Nothing but a rave review!

Francesco’s place is perfectly located with view on the sea and with direct access to the beach. It is close to a couple of beautiful towns (Noto, Siracusa), more seaside locations, and natural parks where one can observe flamingoes. The house is nice and has got everything one needs to enjoy your vacation. Francesco is a great host, quick to answer and very helpful with local tips for visiting and eating out. Recommended!

Friendly and functional accommodation at the edge of a small charming beach. What a pleasure to hear the waves to fall asleep. Great location to explore the surroundings and enjoy a swim. We were treated to little touches when we arrived which was very nice (fruit, drinks) and Francesco, always very responsive, gave us great places to eat.

If you want to know what a super host is for real you need to meet Francesco. He will help you with everything you need when you are a tourist in a foreign place making you feel completely home . I would highly recommend your stay here in the gorgeous island of Sicily!

I can highly recommend staying in Christian's apartament. The place is well located close to the main road, there is no problem with parking your car. It is within the walking distance from the marina and main street with all the bars and restaurants. Also if you like hiking , you can easily access trailhead to Monte Inici. There is a grocery store around the corner. The apartament is very cosy, clean and has a huge terrace with a great view. Christian was very friendly, he explained us everything and reccomended very nice restaurants with seafood.

It was a very nice appartement, especially when you consider the price we paid. The balcony is the most wonderful part of the appartement. Also the appartement was very clean and eveything we needed was there. The only big improvement should be another bed, because it was not very comfortable. The contact with Christian was good.

Clean, bright, and welcoming. Very close to the center of town. Quick communication from Christian with any questions. Check-in was a bit confusing, as we needed to do so in the hot stairwell with all of our luggage, with a neighbor of the host. However, it was not a very big deal, and we had a lovely stay beyond that. The view from the patio area was incredible and providing a beautiful landscape while we had a glass of wine before dinner. This apartment is very well maintained. The living, sleeping and eating areas are in one large room. Cooking facilities work very well. Bathroom and washing machine share a space and this works well. There is a wonderful view and a large deck. This looks over a vibrant neighbourhood to a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea. We found that there was some neighbourhood noise in the early evening but it did not bother us and by about 7.30 pm all was quiet. Should we return to this part of the world we would stay here again.

This is a great value stay. It’s very close to the airport. Guiseppe kindly picked me up and dropped me back for a reasonable fee if 10 Euros. He is a very nice guy and the very clean apartment is cool. It’s a compact 2 story place in a little courtyard, and had everything you could need. Highly recommended for the price.

Loving house amidst lemon and tangerine trees

Janne and Massimo have the most idyllic place just outside of Noto which is a very convenient base to explore Noto itself and nearby natural points of interest. Janne met us in the town and led us in convoy to their beautiful farmstead which is bursting with life and colour. Janne then provided very detailed directions about the best way to approach Noto, where to park and places to go and details of the local Market that happens on Monday mornings. On entering the house, which immediately has a lovely spacious but homely feel with tasteful touches all around, Janne showed us how everything worked and the place was found to be spotless. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped with everything you need to cook, utensils, crockery, pots pans and even some ingredients. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time cooking! The surrounding area is stunning, as is Noto. There is so much more to explore and we hope to return again.

Lauras Home is a Great Place to stay with the whole family. It is in a perfect location to visit all the ancient villages like Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa and Catania and Taormina by car within a short drive. Obviously the view towards Etna is stunning. The apartment is very well designed and the layout is functional even with 6 persons. We visited in winter and (as Laura was pointing out before) the surrounding area was very quiet and only a few people. For us it was perfect, but might not be for everyone. If you want to calm down this was the perfect place. We would definitely consider to come back.

This is a family run rental and all we met, are really sweet. We got a lovely welcome with fresh flowers from the garden and a home baked cake! The house is a bit dark but very authentic feel and cosy. The shower cubicle is very small but otherwise, it's spacious enough. There is a full kitchen and they left us also cooking oil, olive oil etc. There is a nice and cosy fireplace and the family already prepared a fire for us and 3 baskets full of wood. We had breakfast in the garden every morning, sitting in the February sun and enjoying the beautiful garden with blooming almond trees. Cows and sheep in neighbouring fields made the countryside experience complete! The garden is full with nice details, very nicely done and a very relaxing place to just be. We received many detailed ideas for things to do and see around the farmhouse, which we made use of and it was all very nice. Amazing place to be. The countryside and the villages are just overwhelmingly beautiful. GO!

The villa was beautifully set in the Sicilian countryside with many authentic touches and very comfortable. Nino and Dina’s cooking classes are highly recommended, with a wonderful offering of traditional Sicilian dishes, high quality local ingredients and of course excellent company. The whole family are very responsive and can provide lots of local tips for exploring the area - a true Sicilian experience. We will be back!

We never had the chance to stay at Francesco's place as we missed our flight. While we were busy with this mess, Francesco helped us through it and they were really helpful to fix our problems. I hope one day we'll have a chance to meet!

We had a wonderful stay at Dina, Nino and Caterina’s place in the lovely countryside outside Nicosia. The villa is very charming and is well equipped—we could even get the fire blazing in the corner of the downstairs room to keep warm and cozy as we were there in the winter! Dina, Nino, and Caterina were very welcoming and friendly from when we first met them and throughout our stay. We did an evening cooking class with them which was a real highlight of our whole trip to Sicily! So fun and great to get an insight into the classic cuisine of the region—we highly recommend doing this. We hope to be back again! Thank you for a brilliant stay :)

We would 100% stay here again if returning to Sicily. It's a bit remote but that's part of the point of going here. We met Dina upon arrival and the rest of the family during cooking class, which was a lot of fun to do and meant we didn't have to get any groceries for the rest of our stay. The house is very homely, and the fire place was nice since we were here in winter.

We loved our stay here. The hosts are super friendly and really accommodating. They even offer a shuttle service if you require transportation to/from the airport. Had the privilege to stay at Masseria Usamborgia for two nights. It was a short 7 minute drive from historic Noto, and about 35-40 minutes to Syracuse. Beautifully situated amongst an olive grove, citrus, and almond trees, when you arrive, you'll be greeted by a plethora of dogs, cats, geese, and chickens. It's an incredibly peaceful and serene setting. When you're there, try to get Marco's mother to cook for you. Farm fresh deliciousness. I loved it here and I would love to go back.

Very nice place to stay in Sicily for people who would like to be in touch with nature. This is a very nice farm where you can try the local oranges, mandarins and almonds. We were there with our small son only our few months old and he was very satisfied on this place (a lot of animals, clear air and nice nature).

Loved our stay at Marco's farm, it was everything we hoped it would be and a real highlight of our Sicilian experience. Wish we had stayed longer, but maybe next time.

We were allowed to spend 4 nights in this wonderful place. This accommodation simply has an indescribably great ambience - absolutely unique, full of charm, handcraft and love of animals. Back in Germany we miss our little stone villa "Casa Ulivo" in the middle of olive groves and especially the sweet dogs. Definitely recommendable: almost every evening we enjoyed the delicious Sicilian food of Antonio and his wife Cincia. Delicious! We definitely recommend you and definitely come back.

Brianna and Salvatore's place was great. The room was fairly clean, had all the essentials, great amenities, and was located quite cozily above the central thoroughfare of old Agrigento. If you choose to stay here, you will have no problem finding places to eat nearby. The surrounding town is picturesque and makes for some very safe hiking and sightseeing.

Very nice apartment perfectly located in the heart of Agrigento. Small flats: - has a slight smell of humidity - very noisy at night when the locals party (we slept there on a Saturday evening, that may explain that)

+ good interior + middle of the beautiful street + near the public parking lot (5 minutes on foot) + king size bed for 2 person, sofa for 1 person + hot water + rapid response - It was little bit chilly for sleeping on the sofa. - the noisy street - the sound of rushing water(maybe upstairs)

We had a great time in Agrigento. The apartment is in a great location. It is 5 minutes away from the central station and from the bus station. Brianna was super helpful and she gave us great tips.

Absolutely beautiful apartment in the heart of casteldaccia. Wonderful hosts , can’t say enough good things. Also the place is Uber clean and stylish . Even the sheets were of the best hotel quality. Everything top quality with a touch of rustic.

We spent a whole week here and thanks to the great tips for day trips and recommendations for culinary enjoyment it was a perfect break! We drank our breakfast coffee every day in the friendly café next door, always a delightful start to the day! Fantastic location, yet quiet during the night as we as being very spacious. Our host has loads of brilliant restaurant and museum tips and stayed in touch during our trip. Also the best check-in experience on Airbnb!

Contact with Mario and Clara really at the highest level, always helpful and kind. Description how to find the keys and enter the apartment is a great thing, very accurate and convenient. A flat in a very good location, right next to the bridge to Ortigia, in a very old and nice part of Syracuse. Decorated very tastefully, the combination of stylish furniture with modernity has its own unique atmosphere. Fortunately, the whole apartment is equipped with air conditioners (each room) that we used for heating in February, even the bathroom had a blower. If it wasn't for these amenities then we would definitely be cold. The area is very busy and noisy, as in the tourist center of the city which falls asleep very late. Free parking is possible near the apartment or nearby (on white lines). We consider the stay to be very nice and the Mario apartment is recommendable! Greetings:)

Mario’s place was very well located, right at the tip toward Ortygia island, walking distance to the historical sites. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped. Mario and Clara was very responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This big and comfortable flat has everything you can expect from a holiday accomodation: unique, local style, modern bathroom and kitchen, perfect location in the very heart of the town but with a possiblity of free parking in the nearby. The host was constantly in touch with us, we enjoyed his recommendations regarding local dining and tourist attractions.

Host Marcello is really friendly and will help you check in safely without asking anything carefully from the day before you check in. The hostel has everything you need, especially the washing machine, so it's a good place to spend money and do the laundry. I think it will take about 20 minutes. It's a duplex room with 2 large beds and 1 small bed.

Marcello's loft looks great in the photos yet it is so much better than you'd imagine. I felt so lucky to call it home in Palermo for a week. It is so comfortable and spacious and also very stylish. The location is ideal; it's just a two-minute walk to the beautiful Palermo Cathedral, across a little piazza and up some stairs to a fantastic flea market, close to some great restaurants, and more. Marcello is very friendly and knowledgeable about Palermo, and his loft is amazing. The parking can be tricky but that's to be expected. He helped me figure it out twice. Would recommend this place highly!

Paradise and a true home away from home! My husband and I were on cloud nine the whole time we were here and actually ended up doing significantly less day tripping than we had originally planned because we just wanted to relax at the house and the nearby beach and restaurants. We're already dreaming about our return trip!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Laura was incredibly accommodating, replied to any queries we had and was a very welcoming host. The house itself is ideal for any couple looking to get away for a romantic holiday. Only a 20 minute train from Palermo, it is perfect for a quiet retreat away from the city but ideal if one wishes to get the best of both worlds! The house is close to all amenities and was stunningly designed. We really look forward to visiting again and can not recommend enough!

Fantastic. Me and my partner spent the most amazing and relaxing time at this place, full of character and well equipped. An extraordinary location, fully recommended if you’re looking for something special by the sea.

What a wonderful location! It was quite special to have the sea as your front street. Laura was a great host that met us in person when we arrived and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable in her amazing home that was clearly built with love.

What a beautiful place to stay! Gorgeous location, quiet at the moment, and very scenic. There is a Sista supermarket up the road (not open after 1pm on Sunday - nor is much else but fancy bakeries), a butcher and fruit n veg so you can cook in the wonderful kitchen. The big bath is amazing to bath in and listen to the ocean. Just a lovely place to relax and if you have a car you can drive to Palermo and explore (we took a walking tour by Emmanuel and got to understand the sites, markets and street foods).

Mario is very available. He quickly answers all of our questions. The apartment is close to the bus / train station, Ortygia and the archeology park. The apartment is bright, spacious, comfortable and matches the photos. The literature is good. We spent 10 fantastic nights. We highly recommend this apartment.

Just a perfect place to stay! Very stylish, clean and has everything you need to live comfortable for a long time. Ideal location – close to Ortigia and Teatro Greco, still in the zone available for cars. Cozy big bed, convenient spacious shower. Fully equipped kitchen! Even you can choose espresso coffee maker or moka coffee maker 😂

Mario's apartment is in a fantastic location close to all amenities and places of interest. Make sure you enjoy the sunsets over the coast nearby. The roof terrace is truly superb and a fantastic way to complete a day of site seeing.
