Thank you k family for the good and warm welcome like family. The room is very clean. And there is a transfer service from the accommodation to aoto station if I go back to Tokyo again. I will definitely go back to stay here again. ❤️❤️

If you’re thinking of staying at any of the K family’s places, I highly recommend. I had one of the greatest Airbnb experiences here. It was a lovely space, great area and amazing hospitality. We were provided with great amenities and you can really tell how the K family take great pride in their property and homes. I will most definitely be staying at this Airbnb again if I come to visit Japan again.

Such a beautiful apartment and thoughtful hospitality. We loved our stay and will be coming back! The apartment is as nice as the pictures and very close to transportation, very charming neighborhood.

We were at home, the K family was always aware of us, Mr. T recommended us how to get to the places and where to go. They have been very very kind. With respect to the house, it is a third floor, without elevator, but the stairs are not a problem. The apartment was very clean and every day we were left with clean towels. We have been very comfortable three people, we have not lacked anything. It is 10 min from the subway station that leaves you in the center of Tokyo in a very short time. The house is surrounded by many Kombinis and shops. We are going to have missed it. To repeat without a doubt!

The host was very enthusiastic and Mr. T was very friendly. He helped pick up and drop off luggage. Although the location of the house is a little bit small, the subway station is next to it. There are many restaurants and drugstores on the way to the subway station. Drugstores are much cheaper than outside! The house is very clean, and there are still people to help clean and change towels every day, great!

I family was awesome! Amazing place, amazing food recommendations (best we had in all of Tokyo and the cheapest at that), free bottle of apple juice when we checked in, picked us up and dropped us at the train station with their spacious van, and were also so very very friendly! Will definitely stay again next time in Tokyo!!

It's super comfortable!

The Pine House is a cozy stay with a great location. Close enough to main Tokyo but far enough that you’re sleeping peacefully - very easy access to public transport. The owners are very lovely and accommodating and the train station transfer with our bags were much appreciated. The pocket wifi was also a great help - we recommend bringing a portable charger to charge it if you’re doing a big day trip so you can use it to help you find your way home! All in all, my two friends and I had a fantastic stay here and recommend the Pine House to anyone wanting to see what Japan has to offer! Thanks again K and N!

The landlords are all wonderful. First of all, the house is very clean and comfortable, and the things are particularly complete. There is even mobile WIFI. Secondly, the house is large and clean, with cleaning staff replacing the kitchen trash cans every day. In the end, the landlord's family responded to the message in a timely manner and were very enthusiastic about the people. They didn't say anything about the delivery of juice. They confirmed our schedule when they first met, and they drove us to the station early on the day of departure. I have also stayed in many homestays many times in Japan. This is by far my most satisfied and favorite. If it is a family, the cost performance is simply super high.

Absolutely Fabulous! Far beyond expectations and if AirBnB ever have a grade higher than SuperHost, it should be with K&N. I will highly recommend K&N’s apartment. They told me there are seven, we stayed in Pine and they take such good care of the hospitality, quality and happiness of their guests. Mobile WiFi device is super useful and it’s literally only 5mins from Tateishi Station, shops and some great local restaurants. We will definitely be booking here for all our future trips to Tokyo!!

K & N's place was great for our family of 4. It was close to Sky Tree and has awesome supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It's just 5 mins walk to Tateishi station but far enough away not the hear the warning bells from the crossing when trains approach. We did find that many of our trains trips to see the attractions we wanted to go to took us the the western side of Toyko, so with four people the train fares were around 4,000 yen per day which you should factor in. Cannot fault the house itself though. Perfect hosts and a really nice property.

Mr T is very kind to bring a bottle of apple juice as a welcome gift and has offered to drive us to the nearest station upon departure

The location is great! Everything nearby! The room feels like home, with everything you need! The two stayed just fine and would be very satisfied. It will be a little crowded if you go over, and your luggage will not be easy to open.

After a long flight and train ride, this was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our first evening in Tokyo! It was clean, bright, very welcoming, and easy to find. I wish we could've stayed longer than one day, but we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Japan!

The place was in a good location, just a short train ride from Shinjuku. Smaller than the photos show but a wonderful place to stay!

Although the house is a bit old, it is clean. The landlord responded very promptly. Check in experience was good. Usually the price is very reasonable, the Spring Festival price is a bit expensive.

This was a great experience, we have never stayed in a shared space like this before. Keiko and Kako are so friendly and helpful, it was really wonderful having locals to talk to and to be in a house. The neighborhood was great and we had easy access to the subway to get all over Tokyo.

Fabulous location close to Yoyogi. The house is beautiful. But the most enjoyable part of the stay is the hospitality of Kako and Keiko. I have been traveling to japan for 30 years but really enjoyed discovering the family. Very good English speakers and helpful. Really a great place to stay!

Kako & Keiko’s home is lovely, and so are they as hosts. Their place is much bigger than the usual Tokyo home, offering beautiful light with a perfect guest room for our privacy when we needed it. Everything was convenient to walk to, from the 7-Eleven’s for last-minute necessities, charming bars and restaurants, to main train lines which helped us cover a lot of the city in a short amount of time. Keiko also cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning to fuel us for our adventures each day. Best yet, they’re upgrading their home, making it even better for future guests. I can’t wait to come back.

This is a very pleasant experience by staying in Kaori san’s apartment, which is comfortably clean, multifunctional, and spacious equipped with lots of appliances necessary for a modern and convenient life. The apartment is located in a quiet and decent neighborhood surrounded with restaurants, cafe, and convenience stores. The opera city is 5 minutes walk housing some excellent performances. And most importantly, the super host, kaori san is welcoming, hospitable, and patient. She responded to any of my requests since booking is completed. She also sent me lots of information needed for traveling in Tokyo. She also has a cleaning staff to help clean the kitchen every day. I am sure to return once the chances available. The location is superb, the whole family is downstairs, opposite 711, and very close to Okubo Station. The lady at the front desk speaks Chinese, there is no problem in communication, and the service is very attentive. The only disadvantage may be that the sound insulation is not very good ~ It is a bit close to the road, and sound can be heard at night ~

Masa’s place was wonderful. Very clean and full of useful items for travellers (bag scales, suica cards etc). Great location, about 5-10 min walk to Shinjuku station. Masa is a fast and friendly communicator. He checked up on us to make sure everything was good with our stay. He also gave great recommendations for things to do in Tokyo. The room had fish which was a very sweet touch. Would recommend Masa’s room.

It was a really nice stay in Masa’s house. He is a very nice person. We got the key from him in person and he gave us some useful tips. In his room, he offered the transportation card and WiFi, which is very necessary in Japan. All in all, Masa’s house is a good place to stay for traveling!

The host was very nice and responsive, and gave us chocolate on Christmas Eve. The house is very comfortable. The only drawback is that you have to wash in the kitchen.

Masa is an exceptional host and is so accommodating to new visitors to Japan. He has thought of everything from phone chargers to instructions on how to use the shower correctly. He checked up on us to make sure we were doing okay too. The space itself is typical of a Tokyo apartment - which is small for someone who is over 2 metres tall!! Thankfully the shower and toilet are separate and there are plenty of places nearby to eat and convenience stores to grab forgotten items. Overall this place is perfect for first time visitors to Tokyo (as we were) due to its location, hospitality and proximity. We can't thank you enough Masa!

This place is clean and perfectly located near Shinjuku Station, many great restaurants and convenience stores. The room had enough space for two adults and 3 huge bags. Masa thought about every single detail (pocket wifi, suica card, hairdryer, umbrella, guides for sightseeing, charger, selfie stick, etc) that made our stay pretty much easy and he still was available all the time if we needed anything with quick answers. I was able to spend a very homely time. The room is clean and the access from Hatagaya station is not bad. I recommend this place for travelers who would like to stay close to Shinjuku (just 2 stations away) .There are all the tips and manuals given in English by the hosts and they should be really helpful!

We loved staying in this apartment, it was very clean and super close to Hatagaya Station which made travelling around Tokyo very easy. Loved the note on the doors and the lovely snacks left for us. Masami was always super prompt in responding to messages and keeping us in the loop with everything. Highly recommend this apartment when you come to Tokyo.

Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a small space, but I liked it that way. The appliances are new and clean and the loft is very cute. The host is very attentive. The location is absolutely great. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, but it’s right next to Shin Okubo and extremely close to Shinjuku. There’s supermarkets and conbini very close by as well

This place was close to shinjuku central. It’s about a train ride away. I It’s clean small, and has a Japanese vibe to it so it was nice to experience the space. The host and team are great and responding and I suggest you download LINE. It was a good tool I used in communicating. I forgot an item as soon I checked out and thankfully it was around the time cleaning was going to start and they sent me a pic within 5 minutes of what I forgot. There are a bunch of restaurants around. Plan your trip well and make sure you are aware of the directions of how to get there and you should be good . I love this place

Fantastic location! It's a great based to be able to explore Shinjuku (on your doorstep) and the surrounding areas by foot/metro. The hosts were really helpful with advice of places and restaurants to visit, and even helped us plan our route to the airport. It was a great based to explore Tokyo!

The location of this place was perfect! You are close enough to walk to the nightlife of Shinjuku while being far enough away from the noise and the lights. It’s right around the corner from the metro station, which is extremely easy to use. Just hop on and go wherever you need to in the city! The WiFi puck is a great touch, I wish more Airbnb’s would do that. The place is cute, small but stylish. Exactly what I would expect in Tokyo. We arrived early in the city and Casey let us drop off our bags at the apartment prior to check-in so we could start to explore the city. We showed up when the cleaning crew was there, and they were the sweetest women! Would definitely stay here again!

Masami's place is located in peacefully area near Shinjuku, perfect to take a rest for all day long stroll. Only few minutes from nearby subway to Shinjuku. It takes about 400 m from Hatagaya station to apartment but there are many restaurants and stores on along the way so you can enjoy shopping and hang out around. Masami's room was very comfy, cozy, sparking clean with aromatic scent! The first impression was greeting card attached on the door, that was so cute. She provided the appliances guidebooks so it was easy to use those Japanese labeled devices.

This was an excellent apartment in Tokyo. It is in a very well-connected location, a couple of stops from Shinjuku and all the main places one would want to visit in the city (the train station is very close and you can get to most places pretty fast), and plenty of local food, shopping and coffee shops if you want to relax around Hatagaya some days during your trip. The flat itself is really clean, has a working desk, good wifi, a comfy bed, and Masami is a super responsive and helpful host if you need anything. I was very happy with the apartment as a single traveller and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in the city!

Kei's place is exactly as described. It's small but cute and comfortable. It won't work if you have large amounts of luggage, but it's great otherwise. The neighborhood is quiet. Kei is available if you need anything - he helped me translate my dietary restrictions so I could show waiters what I can't eat. I would definitely stay here again.

It is very close to the high horse station of Yamate, and the traffic is very convenient. The surrounding facilities are fairly complete. Shinjuku and Ikebukuro are relatively close, Akihabara and Minato-ku will be a little further away.

Although the hostel is a little narrow !! It's close to station and Wi-Fi is good! If you only have conversation in English, it is a really good non-hostel ~!

First time using AirBnB, and was a succes! - close to a train station so you can travel easy all over Tokyo. - have privacy - You can cook (the stove didnt work, Informed Kei and within 30 min someone came and fixed it in couple of min) - there is couple of stores near the appartment (one is even a minute from appartment). The bad notes - there was only one toilet rol(was 50% used), had to buy my own. - The appartment is next to the garbage. almost every morning (around 8/9 AM) it wil get sorted (that made some noice), and picked up.

Best location in shinjuku if you’re a K-pop fan or korean food lover.

Nice little place in a great location. There's so much to do within walking distance. The Shin-Okubo station is about 5 minutes away and Shinjuku station is about 15-20 minutes away on foot. There can be some loud people walking around when you're trying to get some sleep, but it's expected given the area. We stayed here twice and had enjoyed it a lot.

The homestay is very good, self-check-in is convenient, facilities are very good, and it is very close to Shin Okubo. However, an English-speaking female tenant was still speaking loudly in the public area at one o'clock in the morning. Hope the landlord posted a message

Lucky find! Sakura house is clean, sweet, and cozy, and the decoration is very cool and Japanese-style. The room was way nicer than I expected, and the shared bathrooms were all very nice and clean. The location is not far from the metro and it’s on a super sweet and peaceful little side road. We will definitely book this place again in the future if we get the chance!

We stayed here for a couple of days and were really happy to find that the local area is super charming with a park not too far and a sweet street worth a stroll. It was our first time in Tokyo, but with the superb commute system we had no difficult in getting from area to area to explore. However, it is also worth a day to explore the area close to this place. The apartment is nice, in a calm area and has what you need for a home outside home. Easy to find when following the descriptions provided by the host. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. A little off the city but is quite cozy. No lift so those who have heavy luggages, it would be quote a challenge going up and down the room. The travel to the metro stations were a little further especially those who aren't used to walking. But all in all, it was a great place! Complete with cookware and utensils as well as laundry detergent. Would definitely recommend this!

The loft apartment was wonderful. A nice, cosy space, which was something I looked forward to as I finish each day’s trip.

This is a very cozy loft. Literally only good for 1 person. Not good for even having 1 friend visit. Other than that, amazing amenities, clean, relatively accessible. Was a pleasant stay overall.

A fantastic hostel in a great location!

It is a wonderful inn. It was the first time I came to a relative's house in the countryside, but it was a nostalgic and relaxing space. "Sakura" was enough room for one person. I slept for a long time with nostalgia and peace of mind in "Ofuton." Staff SHOTA is healed by a gentle way of speaking ^ _ ^ I enjoyed a relaxed communication. When I asked about recommended meal spots and public baths, they suggested about 6 places. It was an attractive town. One night is not enough. I will go again ♪ Thank you ^ _ ^

Lovely stay and really traditional Japanese experience

Shota's place is perfect if you prefer a more quiet, local neighborhood away from the bigger bustling cities. The station is only a few minutes away and there's plenty of restaurants and convenient stores around. The front common area is nice to relax and chat with others and the staff were all very welcoming!

Very good staying experience. I will definitely choose the passport again during the next time. I have been enthusiastic to help me find passports. I love you guys. I especially like Miss Dalian at the front desk ~ and the local aunt who likes drinking beer ~

We loved staying at Sheena & Ippei. Sachicko was lovely, the room is small but beds are comfortable and almost felt we had a private bathroom. The common area is cute and we enjoyed the free morning coffee/tea there. The area was nicer than expected, the airbnb is on the main street which is lively and close to the station which makes it convenient to travel to other areas in Tokyo.

This small space was cute & comfortable. The neighborhood was really great, authentic local energy with lots of cozy places to eat, drink, shop etc.

Mitsuko’s place was easy to find, and it was near the subway, about 5-10 mins walk away. It wasn’t far from the city as well, about 20 mins train ride to Harajuku or Shibuya! Only issue we had was with the bathroom which is a little bit too small but besides that everything was ok. Thank you Mitsuko!

The space hosted by Frances and BIG House was exactly what I expected and needed; a small, clean, quiet sanctuary from the energy of Shinjuku. The space is ideally situated between several JR lines, as well as in close proximity to an awesome Soul / Funk bar (Stone!) I would highly recommend this place for a single traveler looking to explore.

The hotel is located near Okubo Station, one stop away from Shinjuku Station, and convenient to Shinjuku. The room was neat and clean, and it was just fine to live alone

Close to Okubo Station and convenient transportation. The nightlife nearby is quite rich, and the stay experience is very good. I will come back next time.

I was only here for one night but it was an affordable room in a pretty popular area. It was about a 12 minute walk from Shinjuku station.

B & B location: It's really good, just 3 minutes away from JR Okubo. The JR 7-day ALL PASS brush we bought is really cool. Homestay situation: really clean and well equipped. It's the bathroom and the toilet. It's a little bit regrettable. Dry and wet separation is better. But we can understand every inch of land and gold. Our two girls have 4 suitcases and can spread out two large ones.

Great location, very close to the train station which is also a JR station (so possibility of using the JR pass on this line). The room has everything you need (even a small kitchen with the necessary utensils), the bed was comfortable and the room very clean.

The location is great; close to two major JR stations. Meagan is very responsive when we were unable to open the lock. It’s a nice and tidy place though I really did not expect the bathroom to be that tiny. If you’re looking for a convenient, and cheap place, I’d recommend Meagan’s place.

Small apartment located very conveniently near both Okubo and Shin-okubo stations. Host was lovely and very quick to respond. A note that the shower is located in the same room as the toilet, we originally weren’t sure if there was a shower from the pictures.

As expected for the price, was sufficient for me for a single night to rest before travelling to my next location.

Abi's place is literally next to the Chuo-Sobu line and a quick walk from the Yamanote line. This may mean nothing to you now, but will mean a lot once you arrive. Okubo is like Tokyo's K-Town so we were able to enjoy shaved ice, the latest craze of dipping koran bbq in cheese, and walk to Golden Gai super easily. The space is small, but the balcony adds a nice touch. Even in the winter, there were a few sunny days we were able to hang out and enjoy a tea out there.

The house is very close to the subway, the traffic is convenient, it is a bit small, the other is perfect!

We arrived late that day. Abi guided us to find a specific location in a timely manner, and responded to various questions in a timely manner during the period. Very enthusiastic. The rooms are clean and tidy, the location is superb, of course because it is a bit noisy near the subway. High cost performance.

The bed and breakfast is very close to the south exit of Okubo Subway Station. It can be said that the subway is here and it is easy to find. The homestay is small but cozy and full of facilities, especially with a balcony. The location is very convenient. There are convenience stores nearby. It is about fifteen minutes on foot from Kabukicho. The few days of staying in Shinjuku are basically walking. The only drawback is that the subway is too close, the sound insulation is a bit poor, and the subway will be noisy.

The location of Abi's house is very good, only 100 meters from the nearest subway station, within 10 minutes walk from the subway station with more lines, there are many places to eat nearby, there are many izakayas downstairs, it is very convenient to have a drink at night, and the room is also very convenient Clean, the bathroom is not large, but it is easy to use, the room has two large luggages, no problem, larger than the average hotel. Abi also responded promptly and very nicely.

Abi and his listing are fantastic. That location is unbeatable. Great neighborhood and about a 30 second walk to a train station that is 2 minutes away from Shinjuku. Again: the location is unbeatable. Besides that Abi was super responsive and ultra helpful and everything we needed was in the listing. This one is an easy “Highly Recommended”

Very convenient transportation and easy life, with restaurants, 24 hours convenient stores, etc around. Close to Shinjuku by walking distance. Perfect for 2 young people, but little bit crowd for 3, and little bit noisy if traveling with elders coz apartment is just besides metro line. Very nice owner, Abi. Always keep our schedule in mind with always instant reply whenever I have some concerns. In particular, Abi provided a very clear rules that had great help to those who can’t read Japanese. He’s a rather careful man!

Would highly recommend! My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and could comfortably be in the space with our 2 large suitcases. Room was very clean and all facilities were new and easy to use. We were provided a guidebook prior to arrival and all information, including checkin instructions, were very clear and helpful. Location was great, lots to see and do in the area. Subway across the street, or a 10-15 minute walk to Shinjuku station. Would stay here again if we return someday. Thanks again!

It’s not easy to find such a great space layout in Tokyo accommodation. Excellent location with just a stone throw away from higashi shinjuku station. All different convenience stores within walking distances. Overall, a place you can consider staying again when we are back!

The apartment is in a great location! It’s quite small but is expected in Tokyo. The WiFi, on all floors, is a bit slow and doesn’t work very well but it was usable. It was clean and easy to check in! Would stay again.

Kei’s place is in a great location only 7 minutes away from Takadanobaba station. Although the space is small (usual for Tokyo) it was a great base for a few days. However, keep in mind it is on the 3rd floor, so be prepared for taking your luggage up and down the stairs. Another con was the coldness in the apartment at night. I don’t really like leaving the aircon on all night and there were no extra blankets around.

The room is on the third floor, there is no elevator, it is not very convenient to get luggage, and the whole is very close to the subway. The sheets were a bit pilling and not very comfortable. Overall good!

Kei was a wonderful host, he responded very promptly. The apartment is very small but also very conveniently locate to go around Tokyo. There were some issues with the wifi but reasonable arrangements were made to fix the issues. I would highly recommend the apartment.

It is very close to the station. There are convenience stores and 24-hour beef brisket shops downstairs. There are also drugstores and small supermarkets nearby. The location is very convenient and the rooms are clean and bright.

Katie's apartment was amazing in so many ways. It was super clean, had great amenities, very English-friendly. The best thing about the apartment is probably its location, as we had no trouble at all commuting to our point of interest by trains. A lot of amazing places are also within walking distance. Such a positive experience!

Really convenient and spacious apartment (By Japan's standards). They made is super easy to check in, and it was easy to get around from there. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Tokyo

Katie’s place is spacious enough for our small family (2-adults & 1 child). It has all the amenities you’ll need (the nearby fruit vendor is a big plus for us as well as nearby restaurants, Don Quijote & groceries/convenient store) for a home-away-from-home experience. As a host, Katie kept close contact with us when we needed her. She likewise didn’t promise an early check-in for us but surprised us with an early check-in 👏🏻 Thank you Katie.
