Beautiful cabin in perfect location

We loved our stay in Diggle. The place is absolutely beautiful and we have already recommended it to so many of our friends. Nic was a great host and this shone through her friendliness, knowledge and recommendations. We miss the chickens already!

We had such a fantastic stay at this Tiny House in Diggle. The house itself is so cosy and beautiful, and the setting is stunning. The host provides a delicious breakfast and is so helpful and friendly. It was a picturesque escape from city life, and perfect for a small family. We will certainly be returning!

Lovely quite location in a beautiful cozy retreat. Local pub serves excellent reasonably priced food and Nic gave us some great suggestions for some local walks. Feeling very relaxed and reenergised after our stay so thank you!

This is definitely a couples retreat all year round. As it is so cosy and warm. And such a nice place to sit back and relax and watch films all day of you choose. The local villages are great with loads of places to eat and drink. If you love to walk the rolling hills are great to explore. We will be visiting again Would very highly recommend

We had a great stay here. The flat is spacious and very stylish. We couldn’t fault our experience.

Lovely place, exactly as described, but with plenty of thoughtful extra touches. Rosie suggested some great places for us to eat, was an excellent communicator, and the flat was extremely clean and comfy. We had a double air bed, and a double futon, and extra blankets and storage heaters kept us nice and warm. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful, homely flat in a residential area, a short walk from the shops and restaurants on Ecclesall Road. The hosts were thoughtful and quick to respond to messages. Tea and coffee were available, including extra drinks in the fridge for an optional extra. Information about the local area, transport and takeaways were also provided. We had a sofa bed with a mattress and a double airbed with bedding and extra blankets and pillows. The flat is below the house and the noise does travel, however we only used the flat for a night so this was not an issue. Lovely flat which is clean and well-kept. Great value for money, would definitely recommend!

Really lovely accommodation with thoughtful little extras that come in very handy! The space is cosy and the conservatory was airy and spacious adding a lovely feel. Rosie was an excellent host and dealt immediately with an issue I raised after the first night and a suitable remedy was found.

Had a great stay here. When we arrived they had got the fire going for us which was lovely to arrive to. The place has been redecorated really nicely and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a nice touch too!

We had a fantastic overnight stay at Sharon & Chris's place. The very best thing was definitely their hospitality - we felt so welcomed. I had managed to miss all of Sharon's warnings that there is no oven, so when we arrived with some food to cook Sharon was so kind and insisted that it be cooked at their place and brought over. The little touches were lovely - the breakfast, the candles, the fire already lit. The bed was one of the comfiest we have ever stayed in. We loved that there were bath sheets, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely. We were a bit chilly to start with, so definitely recommend taking slippers and a jumper, but we warmed up. It's a lovely little place, beautifully clean, and we will definitely be recommending it to others.

Would 100% reccomemd Sharon and Chris property. Log fire was burning when we arrived and the personal touches such as milk and orange juice in the fridge and croissants for breakfast were really lovely. We stayed for a cosy night in and it was perfect. Will definitely be staying again! 😊

Beautiful house in a lovely area. The fire was already lit when we arrived which was a welcome bonus in the middle of Storm Dennis. The house is very cosy downstairs with a large dining table and comfortable sofa to chill out in front of the fire, and upstairs the bedroom is spacious with nice views over the garden and fields beyond. We had a drink in the Unicorn and whilst we were there the food that was being served looked incredible. We stopped at the farm shop when we left and stocked up with some goodies for our tea and also some breakfast butties for our journey home which were very tasty. Would definitely recommend!!

Thank you so much! We had the loveliest stay, and Sharon was welcoming and accommodating on arrival. Whenever I had a question she would reply to texts within the minute and ensured everything was perfect for our stay. There was a selection of board games which was perfect if wanting a cozy night in. Croissaunts provided for the morning and orange juice from the local farm shop. Cannot express how lovely the barn was and how we felt comfortable straight away. Definitely recommend.

You just have to stay here! The photos of the barn invite you in but once you’re in you might not want to leave. If you do, the local pub the Unicorn does a reasonably priced menu with good food and very friendly staff. The Rhubarb farm shop opposite the barn is worth a visit - try the sausage and onion sausage rolls, they’re delicious 😋. So close to shops and many eateries and Leeds & Wakefield are a short drive away. Visit The Barn, you won’t be disappointed. 😊

Another great stay at the Brew House! We love this cosy and stylish space, and Wirksworth in general! Lots of lovely places to eat, drink and walk.

Wow. Where to start? Sue and Steve we’re away whilst we stayed (would love to meet you both next time!), so we were looked after by Steve’s daughter, Harriet, who was absolutely lovely. She really took care of us and made us feel very at home. On a particularly rainy evening, she lent us a DVD so we could curl up with a bottle of wine, out of the rain! We were so grateful! The minute you open the chunky gate to the property’s garden, you are completely blown away by what I refer to as - The Secret Garden. It’s a garden of my dreams, alive with beautiful plants, antiques and vintage charm. Up some steps, there’s even more garden and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s even given us some inspiration for our own garden! The outhouse is beautiful, the record player, book selection and decor really allows you to have your own private little space away from the world. The Brew House itself is stunning. A teeny tiny cottage which is so cosy. Even though Storm Dennis tried to put a dampener on things, we still felt so relaxed. The Brew House is a gorgeous vintage blot hole and we loved having a record player. We brought our own records but there was also a lovely selection there too! The bed was comfortable and warm, the bathroom is exactly what we needed. There were some lovely touches such as the soap, chocolates, coffee, biscuits and milk supplied, which we were very grateful for. Locally, you HAVE to visit The Feather Star! A stunning micro pub with delicious real ales, records to browse and buy and it was full of interesting and kind people who were all willing to have a chat. Everywhere is dog friendly which was great for us as we’d left our dog with family - it gave us the perfect opportunity to stroke ALL of the dogs! We particularly enjoyed the Hope and Anchor pub who served us a wonderful meal (far beyond what you’d expect from a pub!). We loved Mercia, which is just around the corner and we ended up having breakfast there most mornings! We’re vegetarian and they did a wonderful veggie breakfast!! The Heritage Museum is also worth a visit for those of you who enjoy local history! Le Minstrel gave us one of our favourite meals too, ask to sit downstairs as the chic decor is really pretty and the wine selection is perfect! The StarDisc is lovely - would highly recommend a walk up to it. The views are breathtaking! Only a stones throw away are the beautiful Cromford and Matlock, which we visited for walking and Scarthin Books is an absolute MUST for any book lovers! I honestly can’t recommend The Brew House more, it’s given us one of the best trips away we’ve ever had! Huge thank you to Sue, Steve and Harriet for allowing us to stay and giving us lots of wonderful memories! Xxx

We loved the cosy& quirky Brew House (and the orangutan in the garden!). We were made to feel very welcome& were showed/told us everything we needed to know on arrival. The bed was very comfy& there were some special touches which were appreciated (including some very tasty chocolates!). We really liked Wirksworth itself - a very nice town with great places to eat& drink & with very friendly people :)

The grounds are beautiful, even in the middle of winter, we had a very relaxing evening in the garden room before going out to dinner. Fantastic little place right in the heart of Wirksworth! Steve was so friendly and accommodating - he gave us lots of tips about the area for our stay which really helped us make the most of our time there! We loved having a drink and listening to music in the cosy snug! We will definitely be staying again!

What a great place - thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a weekend away. Loved the record player and vinyl, great coffee, chocolates lovely outdoor space. It is right in the centre of Wirksworth which has a wonderful art house cinema quirky shops, great cafes, bars stunning restaurant. A hidden gem.

This cottage was amazing it was really cosy had everything we needed and we will definitively stay again as it’s so close to both city centre and the beautiful Peak District we still have so much of to discover. We visited the town of Bakewell and has some lovely walks with our springer spaniel. Our hosts had thought of everything and responded quickly to messages. We literally can’t wait to come back a real gem of a find!

Wow! We had a wonderful weekend stay for a family get together! Excellent experience from initial contact all the way to the end of our stay. Beautiful house, lovely personal touches. Everything you could possibly want or need for cooking, eating, even playing games together as a group. Highly recommend!

Sara’s place was ideal for our family gathering with 12 people comfortably seated at the dining table. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. There is a good Co-op store just a few minutes walk away. Excellent communication both before and during our stay.

We stayed here for my partner’s 30th birthday. It’s such a great party house, it’s open plan so everyone can stay involved and there’s everything you need. It’s perfect for small children as Sara provides high chairs, a travel cot, toys and plastic plates and bowls etc. I couldn’t recommend it enough

We stayed at Millbarn for 2 nights for my sisters hen party. The photos do not do this venue justice! The open plan living space is very stylish and fantastic for groups, the bedrooms are spacious and the beds are all very comfortable! Thank you to Sara for hosting us we had a wonderful stay and every single member of the group was very impressed with our stay! X

Just had a lovely weekend at Sara's House celebrating my father in laws 60th birthday. There was 13 of us and everyone enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and living area was plenty bigger enough for the 13 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms are a great size. Beautiful bathroom on the first floor with a huge bath and shower. Sara kept in contact before and throughout for any questions. The kids were so upset when we were leaving, they all wanted to stay at the new house.

Neil's place is gorgeous! So beautifully decorated and so comfortable as well. Neil is friendly, welcoming and easy to talk to. The flat is right near a big tesco, close to nice cafes on Kelham Island, and about a 30 min walk from the train station.

Neil is a considerate and friendly host with great tips about the local area and places to eat. The room is really clean and stylish and I really enjoyed my stay with him.

Sean's place was very conveniently located near transportation and supermarkets. It is also only a half hour walk to the city. Sean was a wonderful host and a wonderful man.

Sean is an amazing host.. He welcomed me very warmly the whole 7 nights I stayed in his place.. He helped me by carrying my luggage up and down the stairs.. He do everything that he can to help out.. The location is very close to city center, the tram and bus are very near.. Aldi and Tesco and other shops are near to the house.. I felt safe.. The room is cozy and the bed is comfy.. I cooked in the kitchen it is very well equipped and Sean gave me shelf in the bridge and a cupboard in the kitchen to put my stuff.. He gave me local tips on what to see in sheffield and in UK in general.. One of the best people I met through my travels and He is the best Airbnb host I have met.. I recommend his place for sure and I would stay again myself

I can definitely recommend you this room because of the good links to Tesco, Aldi, Bus-Stops, Tram-Stops and especially the affordable price for Sheffield. It is really worth booking this accommodation. The landlord is very polite, helpful and can recommend you the best places in Sheffield, where you definitely have to stop by. Cheers !

I chose Greg's place mainly because I used to live on Queen Street. I love the neighbourhood very much. It is close to city centre. Many restaurants, bars and supermarkets are around the corner. Greg's place is better than I imagined. There's a bus stop just right in front of the gate. Greg always replied quickly. We had a problem with heater. Greg and his colleague responded our needs quickly and provided a portable heater to us. They are really nice. My family and I enjoyed our stay here!

The apartment is close to the city centre and was squeaky clean, very modern and stylish. Beautiful apartment and great host. The responses are quick and helpful.

Alan and Melanie's place is very cosy and stylish - exactly as depicted in the advert. I loved the idea of adapting a walk in wardrobe into a mini kitchenette- it made us feel comfortable and more independent . The house is perfectly located, both close to the city and the countryside, with only few minutes walk to Sheffield Rivelin Valley nature trail. Alan and Melanie were very responsive and helpful but at the same time very respectful of our privacy. It was a perfect stay and I would definitely reccomend them to anyone!

Stayed with Alan & Melanie overnight. First time in shared home. Check in was smooth, constant contact with hosts and warm greeting on arrival. Room was lovely and bed super comfy. It was a shared bathroom but never saw hosts so as if private. There was a cupboard coverted into a small kitchen with fridge, kettle, toaster & basic food stuffs for breakfast; a genius use of space. Great value for money, would stay again if ever in sheffield overnight.

Melanie and Alan are wonderful hosts and I can't even find words for this special and nicely decorated house. The room is so cosy, I already miss to sit at the window, watching the sunrise while sipping a coffee. The kitchenette is well equipment, the house very clean and only a three minutes walk away from the tram - perfect!

I stayed at Micheala's place for two months whilst looking for a place to buy in Sheffield. The house is stylish, clean and comfortable with everything you need provided for. The location is great - interesting, with lots of good places to have coffee, a drink or dinner. It's an easy walk into town and there are also plenty of buses. Micheala and Phil were excellent hosts - both being kind and helpful

The place is awesome and the hosts are so nice. They also offer breakfast with milk and cereal! The room is quite and warm for two. Also, a great place for travel to chatsworth park! The bus 218 is about 10 minutes’ walk from the house. 😄

The perfect place to stay - lovely house with great amenities, vibrant neighbourhood, warm people. I stayed with Michaela and Phil for over a month whilst carrying out some research at the University. It was a great house for me to be able interact with lovely folk when I could but also work when required.

Richard made me really feel at home during the 3 months I stayed at his place! The room is exactly as advertised and you can use the entire house (including kitchen and living room) during your stay. Richard is a lovely host, will help you wherever he can and he knows all hidden places in Sheffield and around. I would definitely recommend!

Great stay, cosy well thought out room with a really comfortable bed!! Richard was responsive, cats were adorable!No problems-good for a couple of days or longer for work/courses. The house as well as a whole is great clean and modern and we used the kitchen and living room (Richard was occasionally around with an occasional chat but usually out all day with work sometimes weekend). Check in can be confusing (smartphone needed) at first but if you follow all the instructions it’s fine. Just a reminder no lock on bedroom door. 25min walk ish to town downhill-to come back...it’s uphill-but tram stop Is a few mins walk from the house. Premier supermarket store close by for basics. Thanks again, recommended.

Richard was a great host. The e-key works well - but it is important to read the instructions! The house was warm and the bed comfortable. The tram stop is very convenient. I didn't spend much time in Richard's home, but I felt very comfortable and welcome.

My stay with Helen was a wonderful experience in every way. A lovely living space with magnificent art throughout the house. I had the best nights sleep in a long time in a comfortable bed and the decor of the room creates a very serene atmosphere. Helen is a most attentive host with a lovely personality to match. Absolutely nothing to fault and I look forward greatly to future visits.

A fabulous gem of a place to stay and a super host to be found in Helen. A clean, tidy house located within easy distance of everything you could need plus it is located in a quiet street. The bed is super comfy too and makes for a wonderful nights sleep. I have stayed several times and each time I feel like I am “coming home” as it is just so welcoming. Helen is also a talented artist and her paintings are throughout the house. I always enjoy looking for the new pieces and talking to Helen about them.

This is the second time I stayed here. It is a lovely place to return to after a day's work. Very clean and plenty of space. Very handy for the yellow supertram line. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Lovely place. Great hosts. Room on road, so traffic noise is there, but not unusual or excessive in any way. Clean, comfortable, quirky. Massive living areas, so not the slightest bit claustrophobic. Perfect really :-)

Joanna and Pete are such lovely hosts. From the get go we felt at home in their quirky and cozy home. Their house is full of lovely details- you can see the years of sentimental keepsakes. We loved that, as well as the sneaky visits from Martha the cat. Joanna and Pete were loaded with local recommendations and you can just tell they love living in Sheffield (In fact, they made us want to move there :) We really appreciated the tasty breaky in the morning, the comfy matress and how well located their home is. Being a 10 minute walk from the city centre was super handy. We would highly recommend staying here. We'll be back for sure!

The perfect hosts in the most beautiful home. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was absolutely wonderful. We felt completely at home and even sometimes didn't even want to leave the beautifully decorated house. The hosts were wonderful making us feel at ease and giving suggestions of locals places to eat and drink. Would recommend to anyone. The perfect Airbnb stay.

Very comfy and clean apartment in great location in Sheffield. Very simple check in process, and a really nicely furnished place. Really quick and helpful communication. Only downside was being on ground level, a bit noisy when the cleaning vans went past. Opposite a pub so could be noisy end of the week, but mid-week was totally fine.

Lovely, very clean apartment. Perfect location right in the centre of Sheffield. Very easy check in and out and was communicated with really quickly. If your staying Friday or Saturday night take ear plugs as there is a club down the road, but only on those two nights

I really loved my stay at Scrabble House! The space was clean and tidy, very cosy and comfortable. The word "quirky" is used in a lot of reviews and I think that's accurate! The area is also pretty cool with lots of independent shops. I think any negative reviews on here are down to people not reading the description properly. Air B&B is not the same as a hotel! You are paying for a unique and homely space, not uniformity and clean lines. I wouldn't normally respond to the negative reviews of others but having read them, they seem very unfair! I would 100% reccomended this property to anyone looking for a central, comfortable and unusual space near to central Sheffield.

We had a lovely time in Sheffield, and Laura's place was the ideal base. It was cosy and comfortable, and we appreciated the little touches like milk in the fridge and pastries

Laura's place is lovely and cosy. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful couple of days here. There's some lovely shops nearby, sadly the weather did not allow for much exploring of the wider area but we were quite content staying at the flat.

My second stay at Simons - Would highly recommend. Parking is available for free on-street and it’s just a couple of miles from the University/centre of Sheffield, in a quieter residential area. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, warm and nicely decorated - very comfortable. Thanks again for a nice stay.

Lovely hosts, very thought full. Liked littke touches in the bathroom. The little walk you can go on in the area was amazing. You can see the whole of Sheffield. Even the view from the window was great.

A lovely private room and bathroom which were super clean! Hosts were both lovely and was perfect for a night stay for the arena and meadowhall.

This is a beautiful little cottage. Lovely and clean and very well equipped with thoughtful touches throughout. The bedroom is much bigger than I expected. Very comfortable indeed. We had a great stay and would love to come back.

Cosy and quiet

Would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Sheffield, close to the city and easy access to the peaks. Great cafes just round the corner. A well thought out place to stay with everything you need. Great for family’s as well. Everard is a great host.

This is a wonderful stylish and quiet hideaway in a very nice neighborhood. The coach house is very well equipped and there is a funky cafe and local shops within a few feet. If only we could have stayed longer!

This is a real gem of an airbnb. Wonderfully cozy, lots of books, very well organized and laid out. A short walk to some restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. And a lovely, simple breakfast of cereals and fruits etc was provided. Lots of thoughtful touches here.

A perfect Airbnb experience! Everything was as expected and the kitchen was well stocked. Supplies in the fridge & biscuits were appreciated. The kids loved the Alexa and we enjoyed all the books.

Lee is a very very nice host. His hospitality made us feel like home. The room is very clean and nice, although the heater sometimes not work very well so it might be a bit cold in winter, lee prepared warm blanket. We had a great time in Sheffield!

I had a good stay at Richards house. Very clean. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Richard as he works shifts and I work long days. Getting in and out of his home was a great touch, using an app on your smartphone. Very easy to do. Would definitely stay again

Very good company at Richard's, I spent a great month in Sheffield. Richard is always ready to help and he is very accommodating. The Nuki lock system requires a smartphone.

Very nice house, clean comfortable quiet and secure, was just what I was looking for it is very cheap for what you get too, I would of thought it would be more expensive. I had fully private there too which was great highly recommend!!!

The flat is really good- an ideal location in a very vibrant neighbourhood but the flat is really quiet. It is very spacious and excellent communications to both the city and to the countryside. Lovely restaurants etc very close we loved it and can't wait to go back when the weather is nice!

What a great little place to stay in Sheffield. Great location and lovely, homely, stylish accommodation. We visited as a family with our one year old and three year old, and the flat was perfect - we really appreciated the travel cot and stair gate that were provided. We’d definitely stay again - thank you very much!

Great flat, round the corner from Endcliffe Halls of Residence so perfect for visiting my daughter at Uni. Great little touches of parking permit, tea bags etc. Slept really well as bedroom at the back. Will definitely book again.

Short taxi trip from the arena which was where we needed to be. Brilliantly priced for what we needed, lovely and warm and the bed was VERY comfortable. Stylish little space with everything you need for an overnight stay or even a short stint for a few days. Nice clean kitchen and cosy sitting area. Would definitely stay again.

Really lovely and clean and modern place. Easy location for town and transport links. Not noisy at all, in fact quite quiet despite being near a lot of uni and backpackers accommodation. Nicely decorated, very clean and lots of washing essentials provided in the bathroom.

Julia’s place is more like a hotel room with lots of extra touches such as biscuits cereals and fresh milk in the fridge. Comfy bed, really lovely quality bed linen, warm and a good TV and wifi signal. Great value.

This is a good place to stay, convenient for Worrall and Dungworth.

Tracey has a wonderful apartment in an ideal location close to all the attractions but in a nice quiet road. A very contemporary and comfortable space with everything that you could need for both a short and long stay. Tracey was super quick to respond to any questions as well as provide tips on local places to visit/eat and we were able to check in slightly earlier to accommodate our toddler. Would definitely come and stay here again

Had a lovely time staying here. It was clean, comfy and well located. Train station is a 10 minute walk and the town centre 15. Perfect for escaping into the Peaks for a hike or two.

Nice room, clean and good location. But the room is very dry, it is recommended to put a box that can humidify. And the response speed is really slow, when a person is at a loss in a foreign country is really anxious. Be considerate You also want to be considerate to the guests. First time using Air B and B and I was very surprised. Apartment was lovely. Clean, spacious and had everything I needed... Even little touches like shampoo and conditioner! Right in the centre. Great telephone and camera access which made me feel very secure. Was so quiet... Didn't hear another person my entire stay! Did want to book again but fully booked... And I can see why! This is probably the best Airbnb I've stayed in with all things considered. Amazing location for everything. It's a 10 min walk from train station, pubs and restaurants aren't too far. It's a nice looking building and the studio apartment provided everything necessary from a comfy bed to easy to use washing machine. The shower was and bathroom in general was great. Just a nice modern studio with all of the fixings. The modernized cathedral was great to see in day or at night on the way home. I couldn't ask for anything more. When I asked to check in early or check out later they were responsive. I'd easily consider this place and the hosts should I need to visit Sheffield again.

Richard and Yael were so helpful, responding very quickly to messages and questions. The flat is compact but really well kitted out and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. The variety of options for breakfast was brilliant and loads of little details were so great. Having off street parking was nice too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This is a lovely one bed flat underneath the hosts' house, with all amenities you need. The welcome was very warm and helpful and I loved the little touches such as fruit and snacks left for the guests. The place was very clean and cosy, very warm as well and the bed very comfy. Cannot wait to stay again.

We had a great first time experience using an Airbnb, the accommodation is lovely, warm welcome with goodies left for us. It is a great location for those visiting students at the university, as near to area and we were able to sample some local restaurants and pubs.
