I made a reservation after the pilgrimage and it was the best! It was so close to the Cathedral of Santiago that it was easy to go out for a night view. It might be hard to climb up the top floor, but I could see some nice scenery at home. Most of the windows are glass, so if the weather is fine, the blue sky will spread out in front of you, and you will be able to overlook the cathedral and Santiago. Sunrise, sunset, night view all beautiful

Honestly this flat is a little gem in Santiago. The space itself is so lovely, spacious and quaint. The living area is actually a bit bigger than it looks in the photos. Sofia and Luis were lovely hosts, really helpful and kind. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the action but the flat itself is so quiet, even with the cathedral so close. Nicest place I've stayed in Santiago. Quiet and central and as a nice open, loft feel with great views. Sofia and Luis are great hosts and respond quickly to questions and requests.

The truth is that contacting Alvaro and the mother has been very easy. The apartment is very well clean, it is totally the same as the photos, with 3 stoves. A very pleasant stay, really Very central, about 8 minutes from the cathedral.

The flat is excellent! We were 15 days with my husband and had a great time !! It has everything you need even for long stays. The kitchen is super equipped, there is a lot of storage space for your things, the bathroom is very comfortable and the heating is excellent. It is also very well located. Although there are buses one block away, we did everything on foot. You can go to the historic center, downtown, the city of culture, shopping centers, everywhere! But without a doubt, the best thing about this accommodation is the kindness and good predisposition of its hosts! Asun and Antonio, Álvaro's parents are a charm. They have made us feel at home !!

Stayed for about a week. Santiago de Compostela Cathedral was very convenient, with a number of restaurants and a few minutes walk from the nearest parking lot. The room was clean and the facilities were easy to use. It was necessary to use stairs because there was no elevator in the building, but there was no problem because it was known in advance. Fantastic apartment in the perfect location for exploring Santiago. I stayed here for two nights following the end of my Camiño. It was just a few minutes walk to the cathedral and right in the middle of all the restaurants and shopping. With the windows open you could hear the cathedral bells and the street musicians. The apartment was clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.

Antonio's place was ideal for our short stay in Santiago. Located in a quiet street but still near the centre it was easy to get across the city. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed, including a turntable and a bunch of decent records. It's not often you get to listen to the Ramones at apartments on Airbnb! Antonio was always in touch and even picked us up at the airport after our flight was delayed due to bad weather. Highly recommended.

You really can’t be in a better spot! Close to everything, walking to the Cathedral and Mueso! Safe, clean, and all you will need for a short stay at Antonio’s! We were not sure about parking, but with Antonio’s re assurance, we found the perfect spot, and at 7.50E per day, you can’t beat that! Antonio was there for our check in, a big help carrying luggage and making us feel at home! Lots of light in this appartement, but note that the appartement was on 4th floor, no elevator, but, if you are in good shape, no problems there! Sofia’s place is fantastic! A cozy nook right in the center of Santiago. The building is flanked by a bookstore on one side, and Santiago’s most elegant café, the gorgeous, spacious Café Casino. Inside, it’s a quiet haven lit by skylight windows. The one in the kitchen looks out onto the Cathedral. The decoration is part rustic exposed timber, part modern. I’d happily return, and wish I could live in it!

The apartment had the best location in town and I just loved the apartment. It had everything I needed and my hosts were both very lovely people ready to help with anything I needed.

We were greeted by John and he showed us everything in the apartment. He is quite delightful, and introduced us to Galicia and being “Gallegas”!! The apartment is incredibly clean, very close to everything in the old town area, near cafes and restaurants, and John even found us a free parking spot! Very grateful for their attention and hospitality, they picked me up at the airport and offered dinner upon arrival. They made typical Galician food to try and a tour of the coast to learn about Galicia and its beautiful places. They solved all my doubts and were always attentive as to my needs. Nice place to be a few days or even more.

My experience staying at Jesús y Esperanza's house has been excellent. Hosts worried and attentive because their tenants enjoy the stay and feel like one of the family, or at least those were my feelings. Jesus offered to pick me up at the train station upon my arrival in the city, and also to approach me the day I left, a detail they had never had with me on other trips. The room is as it can be seen in the photos, and finding the house in a quiet neighborhood guarantees a good rest at night. If I travel to Santiago again, they are my first option to stay. 100% Recommended!

My partner and I stayed one night and we felt at home. Jesus and Esper are lovely and very familiar. They welcomed us with tea and the next morning they made us for breakfast. Better, impossible!

Enrique and Espe were very nice and attentive hosts, the quiet house, the bathroom and the room were clean and I was not cold at night, I was worried that the accommodation includes a towel, soap and shampu, not only that, it included breakfast. Enrique offered to take me to the bus terminal on his own initiative, although I spent only one day I was comfortable, one hundred percent recommended!

Manuel and Cristina were both very kind and accommodating. The flat is in a very convenient location within the city, and with all of the recommendations they provide, you certainly won't go hungry. Wifi was steady and without any issues at all. The only thing to be aware of is that the walls in the flat are rather thin, so if you are a light sleeper, just bring some earplugs. I liked the accommodation so much that I booked it twice during my trip, and would gladly book it again!

I could not have had a better experience. Jesus kindly offered to accompany me from the train station to his house, which was not necessary, but I appreciated the gesture. Upon arriving at the house I met the incredibly kind Maria ... and When Maria discovered that the only way to arrive on time for my flight the next morning would be an expensive taxi, she was incredibly friendly and woke up at 5:00 to take me to the airport so you don't have to spend money on a taxi. Amazing Incredible! This place is well located, 10 minutes from the old town, but my joy is not for the place as much as María, Enrique, and the patron saint of the house. It was like my home from the beginning! They picked me up from the airport, for free, they prepared my coffee for free, offered me toast and told me about the city and secret bars. This place is amazing. Maria, her brother Enrique and their mum are all incredible. Mix in a few student boarders they have and you have such a lovely and cozy mix of people, it's so lovely. Charming house, in one of the most beautiful streets of Santiago, 50 meters from the Parador and Cathedral. In front of Casa Marcelo and other spectacular venues. Super quiet El Barrio, it rests very well and has an amazing garden. You can not ask for more !!!

I highly recommend this flat. It has amazing views of Santiago, highlighting the cathedral. There are many homey touches such as plants,board games and books. The flat was incredibly clean and very well equipped. The hosts are very inviting. They live next door but give you plenty of space. We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas night. We liked the flat so much we didn’t leave until 3 pm on Christmas day, opting instead to play board games. All in all this is a great place to stay and well worth your money.

This is a fabulous Airbnb apartment! So comfortable, clean, friendly, in a great location with an amazing view! The adorable 2 little dogs were an added bonus. Christina and Daniel have truly thought of everything to make their guests have a delightful stay. Also, it is an easy walk to both the train and bus stations.

Nice apartment in the old town of Santiago. Conveniently, self check in. The kitchen has a lot to cook: butter, salt, sugar, spices, sauces. Everything is clean and good. Near a supermarket. Small cons: heating turned on and off at regular intervals. We were in January and we were cool. Parking on the street, it is not always possible to find a place nearby.

Nice clean apartment, just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and historic centre. Parking on nearby streets - near the University so spaces are a bit scarce during the day. But free - I left the car at the bottom of the street for 48 hours, no problem. Apartment is on the 2nd floor, 38 steps from the street but it is a nice wide staircase easy to negotiate.

Check-in was easy and they were in touch throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable, even during the holiday season. The apartment was sparkling clean, beds super comfy, nice kitchen with all the basics and laundry, and a short walk to parks and old town. Everything we needed! It was perfect. This a a gorgeous apartment in a great location. We absolutely loved it and it had everything we needed. While there are stairs they are pretty easy stairs. Would highly recommended to anyone wanting to make the best of Santiago and stay in the old town.

Our stay got off to a fantastic start when we were greeted by Danni at the train station and taken to our lovely home for two nights. The apartment was bright, cherry, and very clean and modern. We were grateful for the washing machine and he shower was excellent. The apartment is located less than 5 minutes from the Cathedral, and everything else is within walking distance as well. Wifi worked perfectly and I cannot fault a thing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting to be in the heart and soul of Santiago de Compostela!

José Antonio's apartment is excellent. Maria, in charge of our reception, displayed sympathy, efficiency and speed in the solution of all our needs and, in particular, the problem we cause when we forget the keys within the department. The air conditioning and double windows allow to avoid any noise coming from outside. Its proximity to the Plaza del Obradourio is a must. We will be happy to return to this department every time we return to Santiago de Compostela.
