Whip up a tasty brunch at the tidy, fitted kitchen in this modern studio. Expansive windows grace the stylish, neatly arranged layout with plentiful light. Please note that we cannot rent our studio for less than 30 days due rental restrictions in San Francisco. Our parking space fits compact car only. Studio available as of April 3rd. Self check in with video chat tour.
Our studio includes parking for a compact, midsize, or entry-level luxury car. If your car doesn't fit (SUVs won't fit) you'll need to use street parking, which is metered, or pay for parking at a nearby garage. Check-in time depends on the day of the week. Absolutely no smoking is permitted in our studio. We also appreciate if guests avoid using strong perfumes/colognes while staying at our studio. This modern studio is located in one of SF's newer buildings. It has light brown floors, brand new furniture, and includes wifi and a 39 inch flat screen TV which streams Roku, Amazon Prime, Netflix and over 60 local channels. In addition to the everyday essentials expected in a modern home (heating, oven, fridge, etc), a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, iron, blow dryer and a washer/dryer are included for your convenience. Our unit is extremely quiet; excellent for getting a good night's rest on a cozy queen size bed. The building's common areas are monitored around the clock for your security. The entrance to Highway 101 - southbound (to the Peninsula) and northbound (to the East Bay) - is 4 minutes away. We can provide a twin -size blow-up bed upon request, in the event 3 guests want to sleep on separate beds.
The building is located in the town center near the SF Civic Center, varied nightlife options, and tourist attractions. It’s just a few blocks from classical lures including the San Francisco Opera and ballet.
  • I LOVED staying at Carlos and Graciela's place for a little over a month while I was in the process of relocating to the area. The place was spotless, well-appointed, and had great natural light. Carlos and Graciela were responsive, professional, and courteous. The place had everything needed for a long-term stay - including a washer and dryer, toiletries, and supplies. Underground garage parking was a HUGE plus and safe (but note, only compact cars fit in the spot). The location was incredible - close to Civic Center, walkable, with lots of bustling city life outside - but quiet inside the building, along with friendly neighbors. The adjoining building has a rooftop with amazing views. Absolutely recommend staying here while you're in San Francisco!

  • The studio was clean, well-organized and fully equipped with everything you would need. Great central location - multiple Muni lines close by, convenience store right around the corner, and walking distance to Hayes Valley. Graciela was a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating with check in/check out. Great stay!

  • Cozy studio and great host!

  • LOVE IT! Super well located, beautiful just like in the pictures. Graciela and her husband were very kind!

  • I had a wonderful stay. The room was modern and had pretty much everything I needed to settle in. Very safe--you need a key fob to go up the elevator. There was a Peet's coffee and a CVS just across Van Ness, which were both really convenient. I really appreciate Graciela's hospitality!

  • A great cozy apartment-modest and modern and just as described in the photos. Land lady is good and responsive. Me and my husband had a lovely stay and will definitely be back in our next visit.

  • Graciela's studio was clean, new, and very comfortable. I lived here with my partner for four weeks between our move from Denver to the Bay Area. It was a lovely place to call home for a few weeks. Graciela was very accommodating with my check in given that I arrived from Denver with four suitcases before my check in time. While we were there, SF experienced some seriously hot days and she graciously purchased a fan for us during that period. The studio is in the Tenderloin which has a reputation for a reason but I felt safe during the day but rarely ventured off at night when I imagine things get a little seedier (Graciela equipped the tv with Netflix so why would I leave...). Thanks for a great stay, Graciela!

  • I loved the location of this apartment and the quiet of it. I stayed here for over a month and was very happy. Graciela greeted me the first day and explained everything and later attended quickly to the toilet which was running all night about two weeks in to my stay. She was responsive and helpful. I totally recommend this place.

Plan the day while sipping coffee at the white lacquer dining table of this stylish, second-floor flat in a Victorian home. Orange textiles, colorful ceramics, and board games are eclectic accents amid minimalist furnishings and pale hardwood floors.
Private studio flat on the second floor of a duplexed home with one flight of steps to get to the entrance and two more to get into the door. Street unmetered parking or a space can be made available nearby for an additional fee.
Situated between the heights and sites of Bernal Hill, known for its stunning views, the studio is close to shops, cafes, and restaurants, including some of the best taquerias in town. The Mission District is also nearby.
  • Jan and Bernard are the most caring hosts I've had so far using Airbnb. They checked in every now and then to ensure my experience was remarkable. The studio has all the amenities you could need for every day things. It was very convenient to have a Safeway so close to the area.

    Eduardo2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is clearly the best place to stay in SF !

    Andréa2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jan and Bernard’s rental is excellent and highly recommended. It comes well stocked. The location is great, near Bart and many fine restaurants. We enjoyed hiking up to the top of Bernal Park daily. J&B were very quick to answer any text questions we had. If you need a long term rental you won’t find a better value in SF.

  • I stayed for a month and really loved my stay. The flat was compact, yet very efficient and looked and felt spacious. I was concerned about having the bed so close to the fridge, but it was a very quiet fridge. Everything was so comfortable about the space. The walk through the neighborhood was always enjoyable. I commuted everyday via a walk to the 24th and Mission Street BART stop and then it was only 3 quick stops to Market and Powell Streets. Nearby on Mission, I enjoyed a few nightly stops at great neighborhood bars - Virgil's and The Royal Cuckoo. And Safeway was a short walk- with great views on the way back home. Thanks Jan and Bernard for a wonderful stay. I wish I had San Francisco on my schedule again soon...but you'll certainly hear from me again someday.

  • Great studio, well decorated and cared for. Jan is a terrific host and very responsive to questions and concerns.

  • Spent a month at this studio and everything was phenomenal. Jar of cookies waiting for me at my arrival, after my own heart for sure! Very clean, very functional space. Having a private dishwasher and washer/dryer is a touch of class I'm typically not graced with! Location great as well. Nice quiet neighborhood, but steps away from the essentials: grocer, convenience store, drug store not to mention all the wonders of Mission and Valencia mere blocks away. Had a great time and Jan made everything easy. Cheers!

    Lloyd2018-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very comfortable. everything is thought out to the smallest detail, in the kitchen there is absolutely everything necessary for cooking. very cool that the washing machine and dryer in the apartment. The apartment is clean and cozy. next to an incredible park, from which a beautiful view of the city. Thank you Jan and Bernard for everything:)

  • Carrie was a great host, easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. The apartment is in a great location in North Beach. It is close to the piers and a short walk to Chinatown. Downtown SF and Japantown are fairly close by car or public transport too.

  • We had high expectations for a beautiful view in a charming part of San Francisco, and yet they were exceeded by such a great place to stay in an amazing city. So much fun and such a great apartment.

    David2018-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Carrie is an amazing host and her place is sublime. Expectations were frankly high going in and they were exceeded on many counts. Will definitely recommend this place to other travelers and hope that we have the opportunity to lodge here again. Bravo, Carrie!

  • Amazing space in the heart of it all! We loved the location and felt very safe. We could easily walk anywhere we wanted to see and although there is no designated parking, we managed to find spots throughout our stay with a little work. It was so much fun, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Loved it!

A hostbear & 2 cats offer a 3rd-floor walk-up book-lined guest room (morning sun) w/original fixtures (1911) in vibrant Duboce Triangle nabe w/great public transportation & restaurant choices, a half-block from a dog park. Walking distance to the Lower Haight, Mission and Castro areas. Many breakfast places within 2 blocks.
No food in room: eat in kitchen. Housekeeper comes in twice a week to do thorough cleaning of flat (except occupied guest room) and sanitizing 1.5 baths and quartzite surfaces in kitchen. Dogs no more than 25lbs/12kg, please. Smoking in Tree House (back deck) only, please.
Old-time San Francisco charm, a semi-rural setting in The City.
  • Location is really, really good. Much better than we were expecting. The place is certainly clean. Our only issue was with regards to meals 'at home'. Stephen requests that you should eat in the kitchen, which is fair enough because the bedroom is beautiful and would be difficult to clean if crumbs and drinks were spilt. However, the kitchen is rather cluttered and constantly smells like cat food making meals at home a rather undesirable experience. If you love cats, he has two wonderfully adorable large cats names Roger and Sam. Absolute sweet hearts the both of them. If you are looking for a place to lay your head in a really convenient part of San Francisco, Stephen's home is the one for you as long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom and toilet (both were clean, and our timetables never clashed) and if you eat out for most meals.

  • Beautiful space! Friendly host and gorgeous neighborhood

    Park2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great location - in walking distance to everything & access to pub trans. Stephen is knowledgeable and happy to share local tips on where to check out and grab a bite -loved our time in San Fran.

    Meredith2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Stephen's place was great. The location is impossible to beat, the street is peaceful and there are cafe's, supermarkets and parks right around the corner. The house itself is beautiful, and with a lot of charm. The room is big and very cozy, and with amazing window views through which beautiful light comes in in the mornings. Stephen is a great host, it was a pleasure to meet him. We know we will be coming back to San Francisco, and the first place we'll look for availability will definetely be Stephen's place!

  • Charlesie and Tedd were excellent hosts, staying in touch with very useful information even before we left. The place was even better than described and is a lovely space, very quiet and private with two good sized bedrooms for a family. We were left coffee and tea and a welcome small breakfast as our flight was a late arrival. The towels are worth mentioning as they were just lovely, soft, plentiful and, well lovely. Linens were good and the beds were comfortable. It was exceptionally clean with thoughtful nightlights to help you navigate a strange place and bathroom! A fully equipped mini kitchen, sparkling clean large fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer (US size!!). The only thing you have to buy is food and you are totally independent. There were many guides to local attractions, public transport maps and we were left cards for the transport to charge ourselves, which was very helpful. We were made to feel very welcome but left alone enough to feel that we had a home from home. Most definitely highly recommended.

  • Just all around 5 star service. From arrival to leaving they literally made me and my friends feel at home the entire time! Such a great location and very convenient to get anywhere in SF. Seriously don’t look any further if traveling to SF this is the place you wanna stay! Much love to Charlesie & Tedd.

  • A gem in a great location for exploring SF. The apartment felt like home from home and lacked no amenities. The hosts spoilt us with fresh scones on arrival and made us feel very welcome, plus kept us well informed with emails during our stay. The neighbourhood is great and felt safe to walk about in.

  • I recommend this address to you because I quickly felt like I was at home. Soup, delicious scones, fruit and juice were offered to us upon our arrival after a day of flight and stopover. It was much appreciated! Safe neighborhood, well organized apartment with impeccable cleanliness is what Charlesie and Tedd give you when you are there.

  • For a long stay of a few weeks or more, I recommend this address. Even if it is a bit far from the hubbub ha ha of the city, the fact remains that it is a safe and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are concerned about your comfort. They are very kind and always ready to help.

  • I really enjoyed my time in Jason's apartment. The check-in was very easy, and communication was efficient. The location is great (close to the financial district and Chinatown). All necessary Equipment was available. If I come back to SF, I may be booking this AirBnB again.

  • Gorgeous place in a highly convenient location. A one-of-a-kind spot that was a private oasis in San Francisco. It was perfect for my stay.

    Sarah2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jason's place in the city is a great find. It is at the hub of several great locations in San Francisco, and is a convenient 10-15 minute walk to BART. I spent several weeks there, and my experience was overall extremely positive. It is a small studio apartment, best for 1, maybe 2 people. It was very quiet at night, for being in the middle of the city. Street sweepers and the occasional vocal city dweller at 2 a.m. is just part of the deal. I had all of the amenities I needed to be comfortable, including an armoire for hanging clothes, a mostly-stocked kitchen, and a comfortable bed, couch, and tv with internet/netflix connection. The deep washtub sink was an added bonus, as I needed to hand wash a few things during my stay. The semi-private balcony was also really nice. The bath/shower was small but everything worked well. Definitely recommend.

    - NOVEMBER 2019: Kathy: “This spot was perfect. The neighborhood felt safe and boasts many lovely spots for a meal. The lodging was sparkling clean and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable, plenty of linens, bathroom boasted hairdryer, shower gel/shampoo/conditioner dispenser. Lots of tour guidebooks and reading materials on site. Wifi worked perfectly. Electric lock system meant not worrying about keys. There is a market within walking distance on Clement to stock up on necessities.” - JANUARY 2020: Fernanda & Family - We had a great time at Christine's place. This place is beautiful, comfortable, neat, clean, well kept, quiet, well equipped and the location is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet. It was a very comfortable place for my family. We always found a parking space nearby (within a block or two). It has markets, restaurants and shopping nearby. You can tell Christine makes an effort to make her guests feel at home, we found maps, city guides, books, restaurant menus, and all sorts of info that made our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!! San Francisco Registration: STR-(ON-FILE) Accommodations: Charming 2 bedroom with private entrance in San Francisco's Richmond District. We can accommodate 6 guests (1 queen, 1 queen, 1 sofa bed - 2 small children or 1 adult). Access to fully equipped Kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Free daily and overnight street parking (guests should observe signs posted on each street regarding street cleaning schedules and parking restrictions). Neighborhood: Walk a few blocks to the Presidio and Kid-Friendly Parks. The Golden Gate Park is 5 blocks away and offers many festivals throughout the year, including: Bluegrass Festival, Raggae in the Park and Outside Lands. Great Dining and Shopping. The Richmond district offers a diverse culinary experience at prices that are more affordable than other parts of the city. The Clement Street Farmer's Market, on Sunday mornings, offers a great selection of fresh local produce and gourmet food selections. Public Transportation: Public transportation is within a 1 to 3 block walking distance. The closest transit lines are the 1 - California, the 38 - Geary, the 2 - Clement and the 28 - Daly City. We offer a clean, comfortable place in one of the worlds most popular destinations at a great value. When we are home, we can have as much or as little interaction as you'd like. Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything The Richmond district offers a diverse culinary experience at prices that are more affordable than other parts of the city. During your stay you will have a more realistic native San Franciscan experience than the touristy areas of the city. National Geographic Best Trips of 2015 lists: The Presidio, San Francisco (we are located right next to The Presidio & 5 minutes from The Golden Gate Bridge) From Spanish Conquistadores to Star Wars If the San Francisco Peninsula resembles a forearm ending in a fist, then the Presidio is the topmost knuckle-by-the-Bay. The virile park of viridian woods and knockout vistas can make travelers forget its original function was for war, not Instagram. To San Franciscans, it's both muse and playground—with the latest addition being the newly reopened Officers' Club, reimagined as a local hub for exhibits, performances, and dining. Established by Spanish conquistadores in 1776, the military garrison of Saint Francis and its 2.3 square miles defended the bay from any invaders tempted by the riches of Alta California. For the next 218 years, soldiers stood guard against the machinations of empires. But the English, Russian, Japanese, and Klingons—Star Trek's Starfleet Command is headquartered here—never came. The base became a coveted (website hidden) assignment. Officers dream of three things, the saying went: “to make colonel, to die and go to heaven, and to be posted to the Presidio." In 1994, ownership passed from the Army to the National Park Service. Now the Presidio is a self-sustaining trust, thanks to rents paid by one-percenters like George Lucas, whose Lucasfilms office here blessed with a Yoda sculpture on a fountain. (Critics prefer sculptor Andy Goldsworthy's nearly hundred-foot-tall “Spire," near the Arguello Gate.) But why nitpick? Instead, savor a hot chocolate after a hike on Crissy Field. Listen for the whiz-whir generated by bikers pumping down Lincoln Boulevard above North Baker Beach's clothing-optional sunbathers. Delight in the eucalyptus-scented footpath called Lovers Lane. The Presidio, young Skywalker! The Force is strong with this one. —Andrew Nelson, @andrewnelson Travel Tips When to Go: April, May, October, and November typically are the best months to visit due to the warm, sunny weather and minimal fog (providing better views of the Golden Gate Bridge). Weekdays are less crowded. How to Get Around: From San Francisco International Airport rent a car, or ride BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the Embarcadero station. From here (at the corner of Drumm and Market Streets), take the free Presidio shuttle bus (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m on weekends). Where to Eat or Drink: Housed in the former mess hall, The Commissary at the Presidio serves light breakfasts, eat-in and takeout lunches, and a full dinner menu (reservations recommended). Award-winning chef Traci Des Jardins mainly uses locally sourced ingredients to prepare the Spanish-influenced California cuisine (salt cod fritters, Marin Sun Farms burgers, and roasted chicken with Marcona almonds and dates). Most seating is communal. To watch the chefs prepare your meal, request a (email hidden) surrounding the open kitchen. What to Buy: At the Presidio, Warming Hut Bookstore and Café, located at the west end of Crissy Field; the Golden Gate Bridge Pavilion; and the Fort Point Bookstore have the best selection of Presidio-related souvenirs, gear, and books. Practical Tip: To stay warm (and avoid looking like a tourist) wear long pants and several light layers if visiting the Presidio in summer (June-August) when the weather is typically cold and foggy. What to Read Before You Go: Set at the Presidio, The Enlisted Men's Club (Running Meter Press, 2014) is the first in a trilogy of military-life novels penned by late author and Vietnam War veteran Gary Reilly. Helpful Links: Presidio of San Francisco and San Francisco Travel Fun Fact: Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, the executive order authorizing the internment of Japanese Americans was issued at the Presidio. At the same time that their family members were being relocated to internment camps, Japanese-American linguist soldiers were training at the Presidio for critical military language duties such as translation and negotiation. The soldiers' training site, which reopened in 2013 as the Military Intelligence Service (MIS) Historic Learning Center, is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays, 12-5 p.m. Insider Tip From Andrew Nelson: Got a yen for nine pins? The old army base supports its own late bowling alley. Presidio Bowl is open every day and until 2 a.m. on the weekends. (Note: In the other direction, we are 5 minutes to Golden Gate Park, another National Park with museums, gardens, etc. Our home is located 2 blocks to The Presidio & about 8 blocks to Golden Gate Park).

    Liheng2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Christine place is located in a beautiful neighborhood, located close to the parks with services close, but still quite and safe to return at night walking from bus stop. The garden gives to the place a special touch and makes it feels bigger. She was very nice with us and actually lended is a scooter and a helmet so our little one can enjoy the city without getting too tired. We were 5 and we’ve been able to accommodate perfectly well. She was very flexible with us with check in and check out. We had a great stay and the family enjoyed a lot

This cute apartment is located in the hip and sunny Mission district. The apartment is fully furnished with furniture including a bed, flat screen tv, dvd player, ipod docking station, sofa, etc. The kitchen has granite counter tops and newer stainless steel appliances with a sit in kitchen table and includes all kitchen utensils. There is also a beautiful shared backyard patio and garden area which includes a BBQ grill and outdoor dining table/chairs. Linens and towells are also provided. The Mission district is a diverse and vibrant neighborhood with lots a great cafes, bars, and restaurants. Nearby hotspots include, Foreign Cinema, Delfina, Bi-Rite creamery and sunny Dolores Park. Also nearby is the historic Mission Dolores Chuch and the colorful and beautiful cultural Murals of Clarion Alley. The apartment is located 3 blocks away from the 16th Mission BART (our metro/subway) and is only two BART stops away from Union Square shopping/downtown SF! Need more space? Check out our other listing at the same location!
I love our neighborhood. You’ll find tons of great restaurants, cafes, bookstores shopping, etc. Another huge plus about this apartment is that there are 2 movie theatres within short walking distance including a brand new Alamo Drafthouse. My favorite nearby hotspots include: Foreign Cinema, Delfina, Taqueria Bi-Rite Creamery (get the Try the salted carmel ice cream. It’s ridiculously good.). About my favorite thing to do is get coffee on Valencia street and then head over to Dolores park for some great people watching.
  • This place was amazing. That doesn’t even begin to cover it... it’s walking distance from a lot of cute shops... a great Asian market for your grocery needs. A comic book store. Alamo Drafthouse is the place to go see your favorite movies!! And the Haight district is a short Uber ride away!! I can’t recommend this place highly enough... totally worth the price. Oh and it’s a short walk to the BART so you can get basically anywhere from there.

    Timothy2019-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • A great place in the Mission - I stayed here for three months and it was a fantastic spot, close to BART and easy access to Muni. Mission has a colorful character and you can just stroll to some great spots for dinner. The road is quiet where the apartment is located. Overall for anyone looking for an easy place to stay while in San Francisco I'd recommend these hosts and their apartment.

    Luke2018-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in the Mission and very responsive & kind hosts!

    Joseph2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is spacious and modest, and is very comfortable and accommodating. It is located at the heart of the mission, a walking distance from many great places: tartine, dandelion, mission cliffs, alamo theatre, multiple taquerias, bi-rite supermarket & ice cream, dolores park, and more. Brian is a great host, very responsive, and always super helpful. Only thing to note is the proximity to Mission st, which is perfectly safe, but also hosts some colorful homeless people.

    Rami2017-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Brian was a great host, always kind, available and flexible. I had a couple of changes and it was always a pleasure to talk to Brian. The apartment itself is really well located, in the middle of mission, very close great restaurants, shops and Dolores park. In terms of public transport it's also very well connected with BART 6 minutes away. The apartment itself is well equipped, I had everything I needed for an extended stay. It was really a great base for exploring San Francisco.

    Rosana2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in this place for a month.Nicely laid out place. Comfortable bed and nice big sofa, tv with lots of channels, good wifi. The shared outdoor space is lovely too, perfect for soaking up a little bit of sun at lunch time. Shared laundry facilities with the neighbours. Very good location, within 2 minutes walk from the buzzing Valencia street and a short walk to BART on 16th Mission. Food store just around the corner. We had some minor issues to start with but the communication with Brian was excellent, and he was so helpful and responsive and really went out of his way to help us and ensure we were happy with our stay. We hope to come and stay again soon, and would thoroughly recommend the place.

    Anneli2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The hip apartment is just as advertised. The check in was as easy as it could get. Me and my husband stayed here for more than a month. Initially we were a little worried about the security being straight off the street. But the worries quickly disappeared since we had no issues come up. The apartment is in the perfect location right between valencia and mission! Everything at the door step. Easy public commute options. We had a car and chose to park at a nearby public garage. The period we lived at the apartment was during the crazy rain storms in Sf. So we encountered some ant problems near the bathroom. But Brian was extremely responsive and even offered to call the pest control. However the ants were gone with the rain and some home remedies. I wish we stayed longer with the better weather to use the backyard which is very well maintained and lovely. Will definitely stay here again. If you are planning on using the public commute, trying amazing food places, and yes some good music at the chapel (which is two blocks!) this is a perfect spot.

Great for young travelers, business travelers, and those visiting relatives close by!
The apartment includes a brand new, comfortable bed, new Smart TV (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime), coffee maker (coffee and sugar included, mini-fridge, microwave, iron/ironing board, and all the toiletries and supplies you'll need.
It's a quick drive to the highway and downtown SF is 15-20 minutes away (depending on traffic). Ton of great restaurants nearby and no more than 30 minutes from San Francisco's great attractions. For safety and security reasons, I do not give out my exact address until three days before the arrival date. For the same reasons, the address on the account is not the accurate one but the home is located within the general vicinity.
  • Had a great time only negative is wifi kinda slow and no parking

    Xue2020-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Alex was easy going and easy to reach. It’s a self serve situation so you have the place to yourself. Tucked in the back. Room came with a good size fridge, toaster, space heater, microwave, water boiler, and utensils. Comfortable and clean.

    Darin2020-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Simple and clean. Exactly as advertised, with a great bathroom and comfy bed. Only drawback was the internet speed for video conferencing, otherwise fantastic!

    Raphael2020-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • Alex's place was really comfortable and clean. Be aware, it is a simple place, but it really does the job. Wifi was a bit spotty as other visitors have noted, but otherwise, I would recommend this place to stay. Alex was super communicative as well, much appreciated!

    Nigel2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place was impeccably clean which I very much appreciated! Small and simple place, just right for 1-2 people. Not very close to any Bart stations, but I was able to easily take the bus to the nearest one and it wasn't a problem. There's a bus stop right on the corner. And perfectly in the middle of SFO and the airport which I liked.

    Hannah2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Alex was an excellent communicator govingr me everything I needed to have an amazing trip to San Fran. The place was great. Everything was clean and the neighbourhood was lovely.

    Luke2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Check in was easy, the neighborhood is pretty quiet, and the location was good. Parking is pretty tough, so be prepared to either take rideshare or drive around several blocks.

  • If you're traveling alone, I would highly recommend this place. It's not too far anything in San Francisco. The only con is that the WiFi is not really the best, other from that I would recommend this studio. Alex is a good host. He kept in touch in a reasonable time.

  • Karen's place is a clean, stylish, and spotless guest house. It is very private, light and airy, with floor to ceiling windows (with Roman blinds) across the whole front of the unit, facing a tiered garden and the impressive main home. This space is completely new/remodeled inside with an innovative, open floor plan (with fireplace!) for the living room and kitchen, and perhaps the largest bathroom I've seen in an AirBNB. All of the details are high quality. There is a separate private entrance that allows access to the yard and unit, so the feeling is very private and quiet. The location is great, near the center of San Francisco, atop Diamond Heights with its amazing views. It is a short walk to a shopping center with a Safeway (supermarket), Walgreens, post office, restaurants, banks an shops. A nice park and children's playground is adjacent to the center, with tennis courts in a woodsy atmosphere that is surprising for the center of a big city. We had a great stay at Karen's and hope to stay there again in the future! Highly recommended.

My loft is something special. Your own roofdeck awaits you for sunny SF days, and for cold ones heated floors will warm your toes. This unit is close to everything SF in heart of SOMA. Moscone is very close! Delish ramen restaurant across the street, many more options nearby, Giants Stadium, Union Square, the financial district, the CAL train, and many more. I offer a spot in our garage included in your reservation, so you wont have to brave the perils of city parking. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
This 2 bedroom 2 bath can be converted to a 3 bedroom 2 bath with the rolling metal and glass divider as seen in the pictures. This is a great option if you need more beds. Please be careful when rolling the divider out as it is heavy. If you have questions, please let us know. The roofdeck is all yours. Each penthouse unit in this building has a roofdeck, and there is some adjoining decks to this one, but ours is the only one that seems to get used! Bring your charcoal as I keep a BBQ up there for those who love to grill. All three of the bedrooms are on the first floor so no need to climb stairs unless you want to hang out on the roofdeck. Please note that the third bedroom is the convertible bedroom shown in the pictures. Guests have loved it in the past. Garaged parking is available onsite for $40/day extra. Please let me know ahead of time so that I can arrange for it. Otherwise, there is free parking on the street sometimes but it can be hard to find. If you do park on the street, please do not leave any valuables! Break ins are notorious across San Francisco and can happen very quickly. Although the garage is more secure, we can't offer any protection from break-ins there either, so just be sure to mindful and remove valuables before parking and leaving your vehicle. This also goes for temporarily parking your vehicle during check in. Please be mindful..
Known as the land of startups and famed for its bounty of new restaurants and bars, SoMa is a lively neighborhood defined by its warehouses and waterfront position. Explore on foot or take a short taxi ride to the city's other highlights. Please note that the first 2 guests are included in the price, but extra guests beyond 2 increase the pricing by 50 per guest per night. This really helps us with extra cleaning and laundry and especially rent (SF is a nightmare).
  • The communication, location and host are and always has been amazing.

  • Great overnight stay we are very familiar with the area so used to some of the homeless. The parking was a cinch and so perfect for downtown SF. The morning coffee, the king bed and bedding, the view from the coach and the deck, the internet and entertainment ! Thanks so much Micah

  • The best word I can use to describe this place is “efficient”. It tended to our basic needs as we were passing through the area after a flight. Looking around, it felt to me that the place was put together with a business traveler in mind. It is located right outside the city. There are electric door locks on the gate and the front door, so it feels safe. It has a fridge, electric burners, coffee maker, water kettle, soap. There is no dishwasher so you will need to wash your own dishes. We had a very comfortable rest there for the one night that we stayed. We used the bed and a cot and both were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good and the water was warm. We needed to do a late check out and Angie was accommodating and quick to respond.

Welcome! This is a private and cozy room in a quiet 4 bedroom apartment just a block away from Golden Gate Park. It's a quick 20 minute bus ride downtown on any of the 4 bus routes within a few blocks and great food within walking distance!
This is a beautiful, top floor 4 bedroom apartment unit with a huge living room, fully stocked kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It's super comfy, quiet and clean with tons of natural light and spaces to hang out or work!
The building is one block away from two bus lines that run downtown every 10-15 minutes. Some of the top rated restaurants in the city are just a few blocks away on Balboa and Clement streets (just let me know if you need any recommendations or let Yelp do the talking). The colorful and fun Haight street is just down the hill, only a 10 minute walk away. While exploring the Haight, check out the houses where superstars such as Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin lived previously or go shopping in some of the funkiest and unique boutiques in the country. Golden Gate Park is also nearby, just a quick 3 minute walk away. Easily access the Conservatory of Flowers, the California Academy of Science, the De Young Museum, and the rest of the wonders of the park.
  • These guys are amazing. I stayed with them for about a month and a half and they’ve been nothing but helpful, kind, and fun to be around. The bedroom was nice, the view is gorgeous, the location is fantastic. It was more than I could’ve asked for especially for the price.

  • Amazing! 5* I stopped with James, Long, Kate and Juberg for five weeks in the summer 2015. They are a phenomenal group of creative, caring, funny, interesting, social, educated and respectful guys, They really are the best people in San Francisco. I was traveling alone for work and they invited me to loads of their social events and adventures, i felt very welcome as soon as i entered and immensely sad to leave. The place was lovely, clean and quiet, on the fourth floor of an apartment around the corner of the beautiful Golden Gate Park. It was spacious, clean, well equipped, (it has its own washer and dryer) transport was excellent for all the areas of San Francisco i wanted to go, i travelled by foot most of the time but it was a few dollars in an uber anywhere in the city. I was the first person to stop in their place and it was an absolute pleasure.

  • Great hosts that are responsive and flexible, great accessibility to the city, affordable and comfortable.

    Sharisse2018-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Space and facilities: The space was of good size, being practically a Kitnet integrated to the house. The two beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the basics necessary for small meals. The bathroom, although small, was comfortable. Cleanliness: There was dust under the beds and a bit in the closets. Some of the knives were also not completely clean, but nothing that really bothered. Sound: As the host lives above the space, it is possible to hear people's steps and a little of the sound of the house leaking to the bathroom, but I do not think until very late, because we had no problems with noise during the nights. One of San Francisco's freeways is 2 blocks from the venue, so with the window open, you can hear the cars passing by constantly. The closed window resolved this problem. Location: The location is far from downtown San Francisco. Approximately 50 minutes to Golden Gate Park and 35 minutes to docks. The buses that lead to these places are only a few minutes walk from the house, however they are usually quite full. The neighborhood is middle class to low and we had no problems with security, but we were slightly concerned. Host: Charles was extremely friendly and willing to help us at all times. Zero complaints. Balancing the price and quality of the place, I believe it was worth it.

My cozy place has complete privacy with your own entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, living room, and small backyard area. Close to San Francisco International Airport, Downtown SF, and Silicon Valley. It's good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
You will have a spacious private apartment with a personal side door entrance, master bedroom with a queen sized bed, a dresser and walk-in closet, bathroom with a glass door shower, living room with a laptop work station, tv, microwave and mini-fridge, and a shared backyard.
Little Hollywood was built in the late '20s and early '30s, and many of the houses look like they belong in Southern California - the Hollywood Hills. It is a quiet, family neighborhood, a blue-collar district, and affordable - at least by San Francisco standards.
  • Great place, Ashley was great help!

    Trell2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wilson's place was exactly as described - cozy, charming and private, nestled in a family neighborhood well out of the city bustle. I really enjoyed the back porch and garden. I was here for a month on business, and this place is only a block from the MUNI [although that is a much slower way to get around than rideshares]. The wifi was reliable, and the hosts were extra responsive, even bringing me extra kitchen gear as needed upon request. I definitely recommend this spot for an extended stay in SF.

    Karyl2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wilson's place was awesome - it is like your own little home in a home & you get the a nice little backyard where you can have a glass of wine every night. What other AirBnB gives you that? The shower is a dream - hot water like a hot tub :) Very sad to go :( Thank you for everything!

    Lo Lo2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Everything is exactly as listed. The bedroom is huge (in relevance to SF living) and the space is well thought out. The walls are thin and can hear most everything that’s going on next door/upstairs, but they quiet down around 9 so didn’t bother us too much. Great value.

    Piper2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • 5 stars. Neighborhood is great. You can reach the store in any time and feel you pretty safe. If you have no car u can use 9 bus to get to the civic with 30 mins. But ubr is much better. There is a huge tv u can use with hdmi or chrome cast. So. this is the best place to stay in SF for me! Best choise!

    Anton2019-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great! Not too far off drive from all the happening areas in SF. Great hosts who even allowed us to stay until our flight. Def recommend. Great value!

  • Nice quiet place with everything you would need.

    Hunter2018-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute space! Wilson was a very gracious host providing things like tooth brushes and other toiletries that may have been forgotten in the frenzy of packing. The place is in a cute neighborhood with an amazing breakfast place called Piccolo Pete's just around the corner that we visited 3/4 mornings during our stay. So good! The Uber ride into town is about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic, and although that may sound tedious, it was nice to go back "home" to a quiet street and relax before heading back into the hustle and bustle of the city the next day. Wilson was quick to respond to inquiries, and we would be happy to stay in one of his places again! Highly recommend. :)

  • Eric’s place was really nice, spacious, clean, and exactly as advertised. Had a great time. No complaints whatsoever!

    John2018-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Eric was always responsive and helpful! Whenever we asked him for something, he would always respond positively and help us

    Malika2016-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Eric was a fantastic host, made sure we had everything we needed, and was quick to respond about any issues that came up. The apartment is very clean and was the perfect spot... really close to a cute area of Hayes Valley and super close to public transit to the rest of the city. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment or in another one of Eric's spaces!

    Katie2016-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Eric's place for 6 weeks while I was looking for a permanent place in San Francisco. Eric was very attentive and friendly, and always available when I needed something or had a question. The neighborhood was perfect for being new to the city and commuting to SoMa for work, with Muni and bus transportation very close by. I'm so glad I chose this neighborhood over anywhere else. The apartment was spacious and had everything I needed. Only drawbacks really -- the street was a bit noisy outside the bedroom window being directly on Fell. And if you have a car, street parking can be difficult in the neighborhood.

    Rachel2015-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • I spent 4 months at the Eric's apartment. Great place and location. Eric was always available for anythings, a very good guy and super-friendly! I definitely recommend anyone to stay in Eric's place!

    Federico2013-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, great place, and a welcoming host.

    Jon2013-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • After the reservation I'd made with another airbnb host 4 months before my arrival had been canceled soon before i was to be in SF, I was frustrated by quite a few dead end attempts at finding housing for my longish stop in the city for work. But Eric responded quickly and quoted an attractive rate. I was to work in SF for 7 weeks, and I was able to move in to the apt after staying with friends for a few days. I had initially decided against this place because of the lack of laundry facilities in the apartment and building, and also because of reviews mentioning street noise. I'm very glad I reconsidered! The building is, from the outside, probably the least attractive in that block, but upon entering the entrance hall one starts to take in the old SF charm with the meandering staircases. The attic apartment is a sweet place to have as home base in an inspiring city! From the kitchen you can see the transamerica tower, from the bedroom, twin peeks, etc. One friend said it reminded her of being in Paris. The apartment has all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. I was able to entertain guests, even a dinner party for 5 of us one evening. The street sounds were quite muffled and I learned that new windows had recently been installed, so no problem with traffic noise! The laundry I used is on Hayes St. at Webster, just 2 blocks away and it is very clean and well maintained.....even good magazines!....so not so bad to hafta get out and do the wash. The location is fairly central and I walked an easy mile to work every day, and often to the haight, castro, japan town, downtown. And for going farther, there are many muni routes close by, and even zip car rental a block away. Groceries available within a reasonable walking distance too. Eric and his partner are very nice people, communication was clear and easy. They even left me a christmas gift of sweets, as my stay was through the winter holiday season. A really terrific stay. I hope to be a guest here on my next visit to san francisco.

My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Luz Hotel is located in the neighborhood that borders Tenderloin and Knob Hill. The terms "Tenderloin Heights" and "The Tendernob" refer to the area around the indefinite boundary between the Upper Tenderloin and Lower Nob Hill. You'll be at Geary St that's fine. The Tenderloin is more Ellis, Eddy, Golden Gate and Turk streets. Don't worry about it, and really, Geary all the way in both directions isn't bad
This space is good for single people. We have 3 basic single rooms. They are all priced the same and are all same sizes although decorated differently. So, when you book a basic single room, you can be in one of the 3 rooms featured in this listing. The room has a sink, a hair dryer, a robe and a closet/dresser. All toiletries included and a complementary bottled water. These rooms are with-in steps to the Restrooms and Shower Room.
  • I had a lovely welcome, tips for the local area and best places to go to before being shown to my room. Toilets were cleaned regularly and shower was always free to use. The room I had was perfect for what I needed (to sleep) including a few other little things, sink, chair etc. Overall, was a really good place to stay if your visiting San Francisco and wanting to be out and about but have this place to come back too was perfect. Definetly recommend!!

  • Luz Hotel is nice and clean, its staff is very friendly and the location is just great. Whenever I'll decide to visit SF again, I will definitely look Luz Hotel up. Thank you!

Relax with an evening drink on the rooftop terrace of this quiet apartment with majestic skyline views. Let the light in from two bay windows, admire monochrome art, and savor the modern charm of mirrors and metallic accents throughout. Please note that we cannot rent our studio for less than 30 days due rental restrictions in San Francisco. Our parking space fits compact car only. Please note that we will pay for up to $100 of the electric bill which is usually more than enough. You will be responsible for anything beyond that amount.
In the event 3 guests want to sleep on separate beds, you can use the daybed sofa which is around the same size as a single bed.
The apartment is in the Civic Center area, close to all of the city's nightlife and sights, and just two blocks away from the SF Opera. City Hall and the SF Federal Building are only two blocks away. Three bus routes stop 200m from the front door. Please note that we cannot rent our studio for less than 30 days due rental restrictions in San Francisco.
  • Wonderful hosts, clean modern space. The parking spot in the gated garage was so convenient too.

    Michael2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great studio apartment with nice furniture, it is fully equipped. It had everything I needed. The view from the window was spectacular. Really cool to look at the sunset at Civic Center. The building is big and secure, it is in the Tenderloin district where there are sometimes a lot of homeless, but the apartment was quiet and very nice to live in.

    Andreas2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great time, the space was clean and stylish, it had all the essentials, Carlos and Graciela, were always available, at one time I needed a key for the garage and their response was timely, the place is small but cozy and comfortable.

Cozy crashpad near public transportation such as bus 29, 28, and the light rail N-Judah, making commute super easy. There are plenty of cute boutiques and eateries nearby. Golden Gate Park is also close by for outdoor festivals and concerts.
