Read some of the previous reviews and panicked a little bit once we got into the house I realized the few negatives were not true at all! The area was great for the price we hardly spent any time other than to sleep in the home and didn’t have any issues. Clifton was quick in his responses he’s a great host! I would definitely make sure I try to book again in future trips!

Clean! Nice quiet little townhouse

This house exceeded my expectations and was very comfy for our family of 5! Along with everything that was there for us to use, I would definitely stay again for a trip to san antonio! Also the owner was kind enough to leave a gift and note for me which made our arrival very warm & welcoming! If you need somewhere to stay in the san antonio area this is a great home! I wanted to save money but not stay in a room. Vik’s place is similar to a studio apartment. It was great value for the price especially when you consider location. I walked to the Riverwalk, which was only 15 minutes away. The place is close to downtown but it's quiet. I stayed here for a couple of months. I recommend it for your next stay.

Because it is something g like a mother-in-law suite, the privacy is nice and being close to downtown is a plus. Easy to get to local shopping and eateries, plus I was working near downtown so the morning commute was a breeze.

Loved this cute, private studio. Vik is super nice and communicates with you. He has everything you need, including a mini-fridge and microwave.

Vik was very understanding to my situation. Next time I’m in SA his place is on the top of my list!

Charming place in a nice part of San Antonio. Excellent value. Good communication with host; nice backyard. No real complaints. Only slight issue is that the bed isn't the most comfortable in the world.

Excellent location with a variety of things to do close by. Parking was no issue and the room was very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in San Antonio. Vik was very accommodating, especially given it was Thanksgiving weekend. He communicates in a timely manner and provides all the details one needs for their stay.

Great stay. Friendly host. The private entrance is really nice. I stayed for a month and had no issues. Plenty of restaurants nearby. And parking wasn’t bad. Taco haven is good. Also senor veggie down the street has great vegan food.

Amazing hotel, service was great. The breakfast and light dinner they provide was delicious and very nice to have. The service was thoughtful and always nice even the valet guys. Conveniently located in downtown. The only issue was the parking situation but you cant help that in downtown areas. Overall it was much better than expected and we will return to this hotel when we visit

My wife and I had a great time in San Antonio and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Close to the River Walk, Towers of Americas, and local restaurants. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel has been restored and looks great. They even kept the original elevator doors along with the hard wood floors.

This is a great location with respect to the Alamo and Riverwalk. The hotel has character. The room smelled fresh and clean, much bigger TV than expected, very nice bathroom, the breakfast offered a wide variety and the breakfast attendant was super with an exceptional attitude. The front desk and bell hops were very pleasant to work with and took very good care of us. We would definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic room, location and sparkling clean. Great local tips, easy check in and check out. Everything was perfect! We felt so cozy here and couldn't wait to get back to our room after a long day out touring thr city!

It was just the best There is a private entrance and a bus stop just 1 minute away. I couldn't use the kitchen but it was very comfortable with a coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room. We also had a variety of coffee capsules and cups to take out. And I was impressed with the women's supplies, emergency kits, and cleansing tissues. The room was clean and the heater was in the bathroom so it was warm and the air purifier was fully equipped. I want to come again when San Antonio comes back !!

Williams place was PERFECT. We will stay again if we’re back in San Antonio. It’s just a short easy drive (we had a car,) or Uber to downtown. The apartment is even bigger than the pictures show! It was perfectly clean, comfortable, and we felt so at home. The touches are very thoughtful...earplugs (which we did not need, very quiet neighborhood), stocked bathroom, coffee fixings, plenty of pillows- seriously all you need to bring is a toothbrush! Shower pressure was great and nice hot water. The bed was extremely plush, sort of like sleeping on a marshmallow, so maybe not great for firm sleepers. Great fan if you’re hot, great heaters if you’re cold. The space is well decorated and well taken care of. Loved the lighted walkway too for safety when we came home at! Thank you, William! And thank you for the wonderful recommendations and clear guidance for our stay!

The room was very comfortable and clean. We particularly enjoyed all the toiletries available and, although we didn’t actually meet him, William was very quick at answering our questions and provided helpful information. The house is also ideally located a few feet from a bus stop from where you can go to the town center in about 10 minutes, which was very convenient, as parking is quite costly.

William’s space was adorable and just overall wonderful! There were little personal touches that made our stay beyond comfortable. He was communicative and helped us to settle in quite conveniently. The neighborhood was established and adorable and we had everything we needed. Also the bed was amazing!! Would absolutely stay again!

William's suite is sparking clean and inviting. It has all the amenities you could need. Very comfortable bed too! He is easy to communicate with and very friendly. Highly recommended if you are traveling on a budget.

Vik was quick to respond and his place is within walking distance of all the Southtown restaurants. On a few occasions I would walk less than a mile to the popular restaurants on the riverwalk in the heart of downtown SA.

Vik is by far the best Airbnb host I have ever encountered. Very responsible, communicative and humble. He truly made us feel like we were in a real home. Anything that we needed he did his best to provided for us. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and confortable at his airbnb. Great location, just walking distance to downtown. Great places to eat all around and most importantly safe neighborhood. If you have the opportunity to stay at his place do so because it is and incredible location with outstanding host communication. We are very thankful and happy to have meet Vik, he is truly an outstanding person. ¡Gracias por todo!

Great inner city neighborhood.. great local bars and restaurants... Right next door to the city bike share rack, which upon trial, we absolutely loved! It made it extremely easy to get anywhere around the downtown area in little time without having to worry about traffic or parking...

Loved loved loved this place. I felt way more pampered than I would have at a hotel suite. The whirlpool tub was wonderful, and if I'd had time to watch TV I would have loved the huge collection of videos. It was amazing to be able to get down to the River Walk and convention center in about 5 minutes on the Bcycles right outside!

Miriam is an amazing and super-talented woman. She’s a powerful communicator and delivers outstanding value with her AirBnB service. Her dog is adorable and highly intelligent. I highly recommend Miriam’s place.

The description and directions are precise. This was my first Airbnb experience and it was positive. The bed was like a cloud and the house was immaculate! Everything was fully stocked and readily available. Miriam was pleasant and Kia is well-trained. The area is very quiet, I felt safe and waking up to singing birds was an added treat!

Great spacious room with a comfy bed very clean room and private restroom. Although I'm not a dog person her personal dog is the calmest friendly dog I've ever met. Wonderful host as well with great value.

This was a great stay, we travel a lot to keep up with the stock shows. My wife set me up with this room and I am so glad she did. The room is super clean, lots of little details throughout. Checking in was a breeze, I didnt really have a reason to have to reach out to Nina, because everything was great! Lookin forward to our next trip to San Antone!

10/10 recommend! There’s an incredible patio where you can take a coffee and enjoy the outdoors: there’s lots of natural lighting both in the room and in the upstairs “lounge” area. Very easy to get in and you have your own parking spot in the driveway. Very cozy! Great hospitality and communication as well

Leonardo's place is located very near to all major highways and to downtown San Antonio. His communication was clear and thoughtful. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. For anyone wanting a great place to stay while exploring San Antonio, this spot is perfect.

Probably the best value Airbnb I’ve ever booked. Clean room and bathroom. Located only a 10 min Uber ride from downtown San Antonio. Leo is an amazing host that even drove me to a restaurant so I didn’t have to Uber to it. I highly recommend booking Leo’s place!

This space is a good value. It is a closed in garage that has been nicely done. There is a private entrance with a private patio. We would definitely stay again. However if you have mobility challenges this place is not for you. There are uneven steps throughout. Also light switches are not placed in typical places. The space is private but the walls are not insulated so you can hear what’s going on next door.

Great host! We had a lovely stay. The patio was a great touch. Laundry available too, which came in handy. Came with added amenities and easy check in. We’ll be be staying here again on our next stay to San Antonio! Perfect location.

Clean and updated older condo in a great location, close to the Pearl and Trinity University! We were extremely impressed with the communication from the hosts. They gave very detailed information and instructions and were a pleasure to work with.

Amazing place, perfect location! Close to so many things. We walked everywhere. Place was clean and comfortable. Absolutely no fuss, no problems. Hosts were overwhelmingly hospitable and provided us with plenty of tips for things to do around town. Very attentive but gave us the privacy. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Quiet surroundings, no noise from neighbors or street. Definitely stay here in the spring and summer when you can take advantage of the enormous backyard!

My boyfriend and I stayed over Valentine's weekend and couldn't have picked a better spot. It was perfect for what we needed, and conveniently located to all major SA attractions. Mari was the perfect host, from the V-Day wreath on the door, to the Happy Birthday banner on the table (it was also my boyfriend's birthday), and the cinnamon rolls that she left for us on Saturday morning. You can't go wrong staying here!

This space was conveniently located to downtown SA, the Pearl, and other popular attractions. The space was cute and comfortable, and Mari was excellent at communicating in a timely manner. She even left cinnamon rolls at our door on Sunday morning, we we thought was very sweet. Our only issue was the passcode to the door was incorrect, causing us to be locked out for a brief period after a late night out. Mari resolved it over the phone and we were good to go.

This place was everything we needed. Local to the places we were young and the host was supper nice and replied quickly to our needs. Checked in with us the first night to ask how everything was very nice and caring. Bed was comfy had a good night sleep. Huge nice shower. Had a nice little patio outside for wine sippin at night. Room was clean, and quiet. Perfect for what I needed. Bed was comfortable. Efrain was quick to answer any questions. I'd look for this place first if ever I'm back in San Antonio.

Stayed two nights for a last minute business trip. Martha and Efrain were very thoughtful and detailed with the check-in and check-out process upon booking. They respected my privacy, and I was able to enjoy a very quiet stay. I was very comfortable during the stay, and enjoyed the TV apps, king-sized bed, and AC after the long work days. Their place is a short drive to downtown attractions and River Walk. They were also very responsive to my follow up texts. Wish I had time to enjoy the little balcony area at the entrance and the church across the street as well!

This was a nice and quiet place to stay only minutes away from AT&T Center which we used for the Spurs game was a wonderful experience enjoyed our quiet night.

The Quirky Rustic Cottage was more than I envisioned....I loved the area, quietness, and location. The place is secluded but close enough to run into town. Ms. Linda has thought of everything for this little home. Sitting by the fire pit, relaxing indoors, or posting my feet up on the porch were all activities I took advantage of. I'd definitely recommend and will personally be back!!

This is a great little getaway. We loved the rock cabin and the quaintness and charm of the place more than made up for having to go around back to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was very comfortable and the rock walls and rain shower make it very unique. The front porch and back patio are nice touches as is the wood burning stove inside. Coffee on the back patio was a delight on the warmer morning of our stay as was the fire pit during the cooler evening. We have been to quite a few Airbnb’s and this was one of the most enjoyable.

This stay made me feel closer to nature. Staying in this farm house was a great experience.

This place is so magical and lovely!! I loved the environment and the set up!

I found this place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for two people. The bathroom and shower was excellent. You could tell that Linda made sure that the cottage is very clean. Furthermore, they clearly explained the area, and the views with their horses were fantastic! For the price, I honestly think this is a bargain. I am looking forward to staying here again one day.

Brett was super easy to communicate with. The apartment is in a great part of San Antonio and the apartment itself is super stylish and comfortable. It’s way larger than I expected it to be and I loved how they kept the vibe of the old building while making it modern and cozy at the same time. I will book again for sure when I visit next!

Lovely place and neighborhood. Spoiler alert: There are deer all around. I was there only for the night. The room was very comfortable and self-contained, the bathroom is down the hall. Sharon was very kind to let me leave my luggage for a while after check out time (10 am) so that I could collect them after my interview.

Ray is so awesome! Was running late from a drs appointment and let me extend my time so I didn’t have to rush around. He also checked in on us on our second day to see if anything was needed. This was our second stay there and are already planning for our next trip back. Love it!

Ray's place was great. Really comfortable and cozy, with all of the comforts of home. I even daydreamed about living in a space like that. The neighborhood seems perfectly nice - though only walkable to a few places. It was an easy check-in, and he texted me almost immediately after my departure to let me know I left my phone charger.

Ray's place was perfect! This was our first trip to San Antonio and we loved it. We felt very safe with the gated private driveway, and the entrance to the guest house has a keypad as well. I loved all of the funky decor, and Ray added thoughtful touches such as snacks, water, coffee, toiletries, ear plugs (even though the city noises didn't bother us much), sleep masks and even a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. His place was very clean and comfortable, and there is also a small washer and dryer which came in handy for us. It is located only a few miles from downtown and a bunch of restaurants, The Alamo and the Riverwalk. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time and I would definitely recommend Ray's place to anyone visiting San Antonio!

Troys place is a very quite peaceful home. very clean, little fridge & coffee in the room Nice touch. All furnishings are up to date & very clean along with the bathroom. Neighbor is very safe. incredible price for an incredible stay

Troy’s home was such a cozy, beautiful place to spend the night after a long day of driving. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and supplied with amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Troy greeted my boyfriend and I when we arrived and was available if we needed anything during our stay. It was a pleasure to stay here!

Rosa was absolutely amazing! Very sweet and the room/common areas are comfortable and very clean. Each room has its own key and a front door key for easy come-and-go. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Rosita is a wonderful, warm, attentive and very helpful hostess. The house is impeccable of clean and very comfortable. When I return to San Antonio, I will definitely seek to stay with her again.

Wonderful experience

The house is absolutely beautiful. The small touches Mercedes and Eric made prior to our arrival were pleasant a surprises. Super close to down town and the Pearl. My only regret is not booking it for more time. Definitely will book again.

The Jackson street house is a beautifully revitalized gem in a close to downtown neighborhood. Uniquely decorated and well equipped. There is a full kitchen if you want to cook, or take advantage of the local restaurants within walking distance such as The Cove and Lulu's. Hosts were quick to respond when we had a question and want you to have a great stay. As described, the neighborhood is a bit noisy with traffic, but it didn't really bother us. Great place - great location!

Loved staying at Eric & Mercedes place - not only a great location, but Greta decorations as well. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone coming to stay in downtown San Antonio.

This place is great! Had the extras that made you feel like family. Walking distance to many restaurants and convenience store. Loved the towels! And had plenty.

Jo's home is a great value and as described. Though there are birds, they were hardly noticeable. Jo has gone to great lengths to make a stay in her home as comfortable as possible. This is demonstrated by the numerous thoughtful touches; such as: information on local attractions, a white noise machine, clear instructions/help, an assorted variety of bath & body products, etc. We can easily recommend staying at Jo's and would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Great location for the Alamo and river walk , loved all the original features inside the hotel , huge clean shower and keurig machine for morning coffee, fabulous selection of hot and cold items for breakfast .

This hotel is amazing. The value for money cannot be beat. You're right in downtown and can walk anywhere you need to go (100 metres from the alamo, 2 min to Riverwalk, dining etc). Staff were excellent, breakfast included, room was spacious and super clean (We had a chuckle as the lady when checking in said its a bit cosy as youre downtown - i think it was 'texas' cosy). I honestly cant believe the price for what you get.

Great hotel. Literally across the road from The Alamo, local bars, the Riverwalk and other activities. Check-in was great. Complimentary breakfast, light dinner available to guests and the employees all around were friendly. The room is small compared to other standard hotel rooms but we did not mind since we only went back to drop off items, freshen up and sleep. It's also a 15 minute walk to Towers of America. I would definitely stay here again when I travel back to San Antonio.

Hotel is located across the street from the Alamo in the heart of downtown San Antonio. You are only a few blocks from the Riverwalk as well. Great location. The hotel itself was great. The staff was wonderful. Their breakfasts were outstanding as well. Hard to beat all of this for the price.

This is a very nice apartment well, accommodated for 2 travellers. Michael was very welcoming and accommodate our needs promptly . This is also a 10 minute drive to the Riverwalk. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip up to San Antonio.

He was so nice and helpful we were comfortable me and my wife the home also was quiet and was peaceful,it was one night but it was great night I highly recommend him to everyone who will be booking a stay in San Antonio. Late Checkout at a reasonable price.

This is an efficiency style space that has been thoughtfully renovated and decorated. The kitchen allows a lot of flexibility in meal options even without a stove. The bathroom is spacious and has sweet touches like special hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. It was a very comfortable accommodation for our 4 day stay.

This was the perfect location for my husband to spend a few days with his son. He said the place was so clean and he had no issues. 😊

I LOVED OUR STAY HERE. the place was just the cutest! Perfect for couples or solo visitors! the place was so clean. The host was very welcoming and gave clear instructions! We were so close to downtown SA too! I would definitely book again whenever i visit SA. (bonus perks: i forgot to pack a hair dryer and they had that and a hair iron too!)

Michael and Jay hosted a wonderful, cozy, welcoming little apartment! We had everything we needed and it was all perfectly clean. The decor was fantastic and the 100yo house was very charming! Would definitely stay here again!

Loved how the place was decorated! I could see myself living there if I was single and wanted a cutie little studio apartment to myself. I’d recommend having a car for anyone booking the spot as there isn’t really anything around in the neighborhood. It was very easy to get anywhere in the city

This place is a gem! Stay here if you get the chance and you will not be disappointed. This private room is a must when visiting San Antonio. It is close to downtown and almost anywhere else you might want to check out. It was sparkling clean and decorated so beautifully.

So many thoughtful little details they added made us feel welcome. This was close to everything too. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us. We would stay here again.

Julian's place was nice and cozy. It's all you need if you are going on a solo vacation or a vacation with your spouse. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Weather wasn't the best while we were there so didnt get to enjoy the patio. The only downfall was the people above us sounded like they were moving furniture late nights. 😒 Location is great, about a $15 uber/lyft to anywhere in San Antonio. Over a good experience 👍

This was our first experience staying in an AIRB&B and it was such a great experience! The location was perfect. We could get on the highway easily and head straight into town to enjoy all the many amenities there. It was just a 10 minute trip! The neighborhood was quiet and the little fenced in outside area made us feel safe and private. The price was so reasonable! The little extra touches were more than expected. It was perfect!

Great space! Perfect for what we needed. Felt much like a hotel room. It had an adorable private patio with lights. Just a note, there is no kitchen but a great little fridge, microwave, Keurig and some snacks. Super easy check in and check out. Quiet and safe neighborhood.

Julians place was nice, clean and even had some snacks and a nice coffee set up. Our stay was great. For those who are temperature sensitive you do not have direct control over it, but Julian was quick to adjust the temperature when we messaged the following morning. We were also provided with an extra blanket upon request. Overall we would stay here again.

A cozy home & guest rooms! They made my stay very easy, this was my first solo trip and I felt right at home thanks to phi’s and his family!

Exactly as advertised. Check in was quick and easy. One thing to note is that there are quiet hours after 10pm where it is requested that you not take showers. Overall, great experience.
