Very nice place to stay on budget. You can get into city center easily by public transport. Bed is very comfortable as well ;) ... Barbara is super friendly.

Nice and nicely furnished little room. Toilet and shower on the floor, if you quickly get cold feet, you should perhaps have flip-flops with you for the latter (cold tiles). A small kitchenette is also available, the bakery, supermarket etc. are a 5-15 minute walk away, with bus line 6 (stops a few minutes' walk away) you can quickly reach Hbf and other highlights. Barbara is very friendly and happy to give you tips and help wherever she can. I will gladly come again!

The second time here, this time in the small cozy column room, and everything went well again. Super fast communication, uncomplicated check-in / out & fine atmosphere.

Barbara is an excellent host! She shared all the information I needed to know before arrival, and the room was much better than I expected in terms of privacy. The bathroom and the bedroom are always sparking clean. The place has a parking spot, and you can also park in the back street. The villa is very close to a public transport station (a few mins walk), taking you directly to the old town. Would stay here again if I visit Salzburg next time!

The accommodation is in a residential area with clear air and water! It's in another city, so it feels like healing ~ The host is very friendly and caring :) However, the room is a bit small so it's a bit cramped to spread the carrier. Please note!

We spent two days at Michael’s house with a great location, the train station 10 mins away by foot and 3 - 4 mins away from the Hauptbahnhof. The room was ok for two days, everything was clean and convenient; Beautiful neighbourhood! Thanks :)

Room was as described. Bus #4 was easy walking distance to get close to Old Town. Good place to stay over some of the more expensive options in Salzburg.

The breakfast was just AMAZING!!

The location is great, almost right in the middle of old town and new town. We chose to walk everywhere. The check in process is excellent with the keypad system. The breakfast was great! The cleanliness was also spot on. My husband and I shared a private bunk room with two single beds. Having our own sink in the room was also great. The one negative, and this is purely based on bad luck considering the hostel environment, the room next to us chose to play excessively loud dance music and talk until about 4am. No reflection on The Keep itself whatsoever, just bad luck and disrespectful people as neighbors. We would definitely stay at this place again.

Quick and easy stay for a last minute trip to Salzburg! Close walk to attractions, restaurants, and train station. Check in was super easy and the room was very clean. 🙂

It was wonderful experience staying in Michael's place. Strategic location, close to public transportation, clean and affordable place. Michael also very friendly.

The house of Michael is situated very near to central railway station, just one stop with local train. Very quiet place with mountains view. Easy check-in with simple and clear instructions. Comfortable beds, very warm and clean room. Shared kitchen and bathroom, also clean. We enjoyed our staying and hope to come again. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful.

Michael's private room number 2 was a perfect place to stay in Salzburg. It is a 3 minute walk from two tram stops that are a 10 minute ride on both trams to the center of the city. It was clean and well organized. Other private rooms in the house are rented out and the shared bathrooms and other amenities are kept clean.

Salzburg is small enough that Michael's place is very easy to get to, even walkable. Kapuzinerburg is quite close, so you can even take a detour to enjoy hiking a trail and the views of the surrounding areas. The check-in instructions are easy to follow and you shouldn't have any problems.

It is a great place for who wants to stay clam at night, away from city confusion! It seems like country life with great bus line nearby!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, everything can be reached quickly on foot or by bus, the apartment was very clean and the equipment more than adequate. Little touches like the selection of tea or apples in the fridge made us very happy. Definitely a recommendation!

This place is wonderful. The location is great - super close to everything my sister and I wanted to see on the trip. It was the perfect size for two (the floor plan wasn’t what I expected as I thought the bedroom would be a separate room but it was a one-room space with a separate bathroom), and there was plenty of space for our groceries and things in general. I should say that there is no microwave/toaster, however this wasn’t much of an issue for us. Overall, I would very much recommend this accommodation.

Location is fantastic, situated very close to the train station which made catching a train to Munich to head back to the States a smooth process. There are convenience stores nearby with any groceries you may need. Also, the area was quiet and comfortable.

Would very much recommend staying here. Sebastian and Julia were the perfect hosts. Quick to respond and the clearest check in information I’ve ever seen! They exceeded my expectations with additional touches you don’t always see with other hosts and the place itself was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Approximately a 10minute bus ride from the city centre so the area was quiet with lots of trees which was great to wake up to. No complaints at all.

Nice accommodation and the view was very clean and the marts, bus stops, restaurants and train stations around were very nice.

The accommodation has everything you need and quality. Good taste in the details. Nothing is missing, everything works fine. The view of the city is beautiful. The place of entry although it causes distrust the first time, it is actually very quiet. We arrived at 9.30 pm and we had no problem. The following days we also arrived at night and never had problems. The location so close to the central train station is priceless.

The apartment is very close to the train station and various attractions, and the rooms are very clean and tidy, but the community environment is not very good, and the apartment itself does not have a view. It is strange that the heavy luggage needs to be lifted by a half-floor elevator and half-floor. The beauty in the picture is a publicity photo of the city. But looking at the location and the room itself was good.

Superb location just 3 minutes walk from train station and Spar supermarket. The kitchen amenities are complete with working rice cooker and coffee machine is a plus point. Heating facilities are good too. Washing machine is easy to use but without dryer. Overall a wonderful host and home experience.

Conny is a very friendly lady that helped with many suggestions about what to do in Salzburg. The room was very clean and all amenities were available and functioning great. We could leave our groceries in the fridge. The house was also close to the bus station which took us to the city centre in less than 20 minutes. Although it is further away from the city centre than other options, it has a majestic view of the snow mountains. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful countryside stay!

A really lovely stay, nice view of the alps from the room. Clean and comfortable. About a 20/25 minute bus ride to the city center, but only one bus so it’s quite easy to navigate. Conny was very responsive to messages and very helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay at Conny’s Airbnb, it was very clean. The bus stop was in front of the house, so it was easy to take the bus to town (an advantage)!

Spent two night here during a weekend trip to Salzburg. Extremely clean and comfortable home only 5km from the city center! The bus stop with a direct line to the city is right next the the driveway and made getting to and from easy. Down the street is an excellent restaurant, Reiterhof Moos. Conny was a very thoughtful and accommodating host who left some great suggestions of things to see and do in the area. Although we didn’t see each other much during my stay, she was always able to answer any messages quickly and helpfully. I’d definitely stay again next time I find myself spending a few days in Salzburg.

Everything was wonderful !!! Conny greeted us with a big smile, she gave us a lot of information about travel and sightseeing!!!! The city center is not far away ,the bus stop is only 1 minute from the house and the commute is very easy!!! The house is clean and warm with many benefits!! This was an amazing place to stay and I wish that more cities had residences similar to this! The natural decor was wonderful, the place was very clean, and check-in was easy. It's located within walking distance both from the train station and from old town. I loved the breakfast in the morning; hands down my favorite part of the stay. The setting is pretty good but still can hear noise outside the room, the toilet is is different room to the shower so it can be annoying. The best thing is the breakfast, so yummy , many varieties.

The stay was nice. By car in 15 minutes in the city. In the photos, however, the apartment looks a bit bigger. Above all, I think that it would be too narrow for 7 people or that one bathroom would not be enough. But otherwise gladly again.

It is in a perfect location just outside of the center with a great bus connection to the town center. The apartment is suitable for a family as it has two separate bedrooms so that children and parents enjoy their privacy.

Gunters accommodation is perfect for a trip to Salzburg. Parking is expensive outside of the weekend, but it's worth it. The apartment is in a sight with the old stone alley. There is everything you need within walking distance. So you don't need to bring much.

Great location on a quiet historic street, within walking distance of all the attractions. Cozy and original interior. There is heating, in cold weather the apartment is warm. There are enough dishes for every taste, but a skillet that has seen the species, it would be nice to replace it. Overall a great apartment. There are some nuances in terms of hot water and heating: a hot water boiler is heated only at night, in principle, two people have enough water to take a shower once, but for those who like to take a bath there will not be enough water, and by the evening it cools down. The battery in the bedroom is also heated only at night.

The apartment is super central and in a beautiful cute alley. It is comfortably furnished and offers everything you need.

If you want to stay in a central location in one of the most unique Airbnb’s, book at Gunter’s place. It’s a super cute spot that is located down a cobblestone street that is so beautiful, it looks almost surreal. It offers quick access to everything that you’d want to do in Salzburg, it’s an easy walk from the train station, and Gunter is a tremendous host. Clear communication throughout and immensely helpful information provided at every point. You can’t beat it, so book it already ;)

The stay in this beautiful loft in Salzburg was wonderful! Located directly on the Kapuzinerberg, you can walk to the city center in 20 minutes. Supermarkets and shops are just around the corner. The interior of the loft is really pretty and thoughtful. We had everything you could want for a weekend trip here and would love to come back.

We had a great stay in Salzburg at Stojce’s apartment. It was right next to the main rail station which gives easy access to the rest of the city by bus/tram but it’s also not too far to walk. Communication was straightforward and check in instructions were clear. The apartment clean, bright and spacious for two people. There’s a little balcony and a great view of the Alps and the Hohensalzburg Fortress. If we’re ever in Salzburg again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. Thanks again Stojce.

Very well located, easy to find and clean. It is a quite small apartment, as described, but for a sort stay and a young couple is more than enough. Communication with Sabina was great, she quickly respond to our messages and was kind and helpful. If I could find a flaw it would be that the couch is not that comfortable on it's one side. Overall very satisfied:)

Location location location! Yes lots of stairs, but the proximity to all the major sights, and the view from the garden, can't be beat!

A very cozy room in a great central location. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. Easy to reach by bus and you are quickly at all sights. From the terrace you have a very nice view, certainly more beautiful in summer. If I will be in Salzburg again, I will check in with Caroline again ...

Whenever you are in Salzburg, drop by Caroline. Not only is she the warmest host you can imagine. The apartment is perfectly located in the city center. And the roof terrace gives you the most beautiful view of the entire old town. In addition, the most cuddly and cutest domestic cat you have ever seen greets you in Mischa. The location of this apartment was excellent! Barely a five minute walk to one of the Mozart houses, very close to Mirabell, and easy access by bus from the train station! The room is in an apartment on the top floor of a very old building with no elevator and very historic steps. 😁 If you struggle with steps, this apartment might not be a great choice, as the steps are winding and warped from many years of use. But it does provide a very vintage atmosphere, and the view from the room is quite nice. The bathroom is a little different, since the shower and the toilet are separate, but both rooms have their own sink and this setup is useful so that one person can shower while another is in the toilet. The cat in the apartment is very sweet. Definitely a convenient place to stay!

Great place, near all the tourist spots. If you wanna feel like home, you have to book this! Just remember that they have long stairs, do not bring huge bags whit you.

The apartment was perfect for a short stay at Salzburg. The room has two huge double beds which were perfectly clean and comfortable. The bathroom is also really nice with a washer and dryer. The kitchen isn't there but you have a kettle and a microwave along with cutlery that is perfect for a short stay. There are quite a few restaurants at walking distance and the train station is also only a 15 min walk away which is perfect if you are planning for any day trips. The check-in and check-out was smooth and Chris replies promptly. Overall an amazing stay!

Christian is a very kind host. The room is bigger than our though, and very clean. It took 1km to walk to the town, supermarket nearby. It’s very convenient. Highly recommend this place!

Really great private apartment that was big and bright and in a great location. Pretty close to the train station, a short walk to the old town and close by some great restaurants. Wifi was great, and it was quiet at night. Christian was very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

The street is far from downtown so there are no pubs, restaurants or grocery stores nearby, but instead it is much more beautiful than the view from Hohensalz Castle !! It looks like it will pour separately at night ㅠㅠ To go downtown, take 21 buses at once, so I didn't have to change. But it's not broken

I would definitely recommend Rosemarie’s house. You can’t believe there is a bathroom just in your room, and you also get a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee machine in your room too, which is so convenient, and I love the view outside the balcony.Rosemarie is very friendly, every time I had a problem, she came and helped me solve it immediately. Hope I could come back one day.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rosemarie’s house, and can’t thank her enough for her kindness and overall hospitality! The space had everything I needed, with a balcony looking out onto a beautiful view, a private bathroom and shower, a mini-fridge, kitchen appliances and a closet. It is only a 2 minute walk from the bus stop that will take you into the city centre in around 20 minutes. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great location! A minute away from Mirabell Gardens and a 5-10minute walk to the city centre. Stylish and clean space with sufficient amenities. Also a 10-15minute walk to the station which was handy for trips to Vienna, Hallstatt, Linz, etc. The lift was handy too. Overall, a great stay.

We stayed in a room with a private bathroom. Although the space is not large, it is enough - it has two rooms, with cupboards and a round table with two chairs. The bathroom is excellent, with a great shower and heated floors. The bed and the sofa bed are comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped in general, with refrigerator, stove and oven. Unfortunately, the microwave was broken, and there were only two pots (although there were three pans). Guests have everything they need to cook: lots of spices, sugar, coffee, everything at will. An interesting idea: one of the refrigerator shelves is available for items of general consumption, so that visitors can leave there for others what they will not consume. The house receives many guests, which allows exchange of experiences with people from different parts of the world. On the other hand, the refrigerator freezer was overcrowded. A detail that is relevant to me, but certainly does not bother most people: the windows do not have enough light sealing in the room facing the street (I, in particular, can only sleep well in a dark room). Something remarkable is the beautiful landscape in the surroundings: from the street where the house is, you can see snowy mountains nearby. It was a great experience, in a highly recommended place to stay.

Loved this space! It was tidy, adorable, and accessible. Not too far outside the city center, Conny provided detailed notes and instructions on where/how to use public transportation and local delights. The place is set against a beautiful mountain backdrop and when it’s clear outside the view is perfect!

Conny was very friendly. she gave us too many advices about the local restaurant, sights. The house is located in a very relaxing and quiet area, and just 1 or to minutes to the bus station which takes us directly to the down town.

Conny’s place was in a perfect location with a bus stop right outside! Her place was so cozy and cute with an amazing view! The room and bathroom was so cute and comfortable and we even had a porch! she was very helpful!

Our stay at Connie’s home was best than expected ! Communication was fast and everything was easy at our arrival ! The hosts are very warm welcoming and gave us advice for our stay in Salzbourg. A bus station is just 50 meters away from the house so it’s easy to get downtown fast ! We recommend 👍🏻

Very good location, in the room in total there are four bunk beds and each one can accommodate 3 people, and there is a private room downstairs. There is a full bathroom and a shower alone and a toilet alone, I was able to wash and dry my clothes at no extra cost, they are very friendly. The place is clean but you get to accumulate garbage in the "kitchen" which is basically a fridge and a microwave. I would stay here again ❤️

It is such a pretty house. When I woke in the morning there was a view to the mountains with the fortress and domes, the sound of a little stream and birds - I was in paradise! I had a very comfortable stay, thank you Barbara!

Well curated space. I arrived 1.5 hours early and the hosts were nice to let me check-in early. As reviews have mentioned, it can be a bit noisy from the street and from others in the building. Very good central location for walking to popular areas.

Clean, simple, and easy. Washing machine and dryer available for €2 each. There is a cafe downstairs. The location is pretty good, about a 15-minute walk to the center of the old town, and the nearest bus stop is about a 3-minute walk.

I felt very safe and comfortable. The entire place was spotless clean. Bed was comfy. Location was perfect, close to almost everywhere. Breakfast was a very nice spread, although I only saw it the morning that I was checking out. Outstanding!

Very silent place, just minutes away from the main shopping area. Everything worked in the apartment as expected, Agnes responded quickly, and gave me good tips what to visit. For instance a traditional Austrian restaurant with own brewery just around the corner with friendly staff. I would definitely stay at Agnes' place again.

Excellent location. Super easy to get to the train station and Salzburg South bus station. Apartment is a little dark but not a big issue. I was grateful for a washing machine!

The apartment is located between the train station and the old town centre, both within 15 minutes’ walking. It gets full mark for location. The apartment was spacious, clean and equipped with washing machine with detergent, dishwasher, etc. It was the best equipped and most spacious Airbnb I stayed at. Agnes was very accommodating and responsive, although I didn’t get to meet her in person. I would definitely choose to stay there again if I visit Salzburg again.

It's a clean place to stay that is great for spontaneous short-term trips. The location is pretty good too.

Do yourself a favor and have a couple liters of beer at the Augustiner. You just have to stumble across their enormous parking lot and u r 50 feet from this place. The locker in the room is large enough for a carry on and tall enough for skis. The place is designed really well for autonomous use. A short walk from Old town train station, which is a couple minutes from the main station. So easy! Just don’t get too close to the drunk old accordionist at the beer halls cause he’ll get handsy.

Personal space in a bigger house with more people, but if you don't feel like it, you don't need to interact with anyone.

The bus stop is close. The stars are beautiful at night Clean bathroom I was embarrassed that there was no supermarket nearby. My room did not have a lock so I was a little nervous when I went down to the kitchen for a while. When you go out, you have all your valuables because you can't wash them or go to the kitchen.

We found Conny's place to be exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bathroom is luxurious, the kitchen is great to cook in, and it ticked all our boxes (wifi, laundry, free car parking, and affordable). It was easy to get into the city centre (short bus ride, about 3 euros each) and we would recommend staying there!

The accommodation was very clean and the self check-in was totally convenient. Only stayed one night and booked at very short notice. Everything worked perfectly and the communication was very good.

We had a lovely stay at Conny’s thanks to her nice house and the many recommendations she gave us! Both kitchen and bathroom are shared rooms, but we never had to wait for any of those. The house is in a lovely neighbourhood, in the nature and with a beautiful view on the Tiroler mountains !! The arrival at the house is pretty easy thanks to the bus stop nearby (20m!!) and the digit code at the main door! It takes 20min by bus to join the city-centre and buses run on Sundays and late evenings, very convenient ! We strongly recommend to stay at Conny’s house, but maybe especially for people visiting Salzburg for more than 2 days (because of the distance to reach the inner city!...) !!

Very clean and cozy place

I am really satisfied. It wasn't near the city, but there was a bus stop right in front of my house, and I couldn't feel uncomfortable because I could get to the central station or near the main tourist attractions. (However, if you have a schedule early in the morning, be careful with the bus time. It is almost 30 minutes long. Please prepare in advance and check the bus time.) It's a shared bathroom but it was clean and uncomfortable. There was a key to the room, so you can lock it out when you go out and use the washing machine and dryer in the basement for free. The kitchen also has basic cooking utensils such as oil, oven and toaster! Conny was really nice and very nice.

It was very accessible, with a bus stop right outside the accommodation. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond as well!

I stayed there with my cousin for one night and Conny and Markus were really pleasant to us. They recommended a few places to spend the time and they were worth the visit. Location if the house is so close to the train and bus station and the city center is only 10mins by bus. I will recommend them.

Very hospitable, very helpful and very reliable

We stayed in a basic room, with a shared bathroom which were both very clean. The house was in a nice and quiet residential area. The bus stop into town was only 1 min away, but there is also a nice walk into town alongside the river. The supermarket is only 5 mins away. Conny always responded promptly and gave us helpful information. Overall, highly recommend.

Quiet neighbourhood with friendly and helpfull hosts. Hosts provided great suggestions and were very accomodating. Getting to and returning from Salzburgs attractions was extremely easy (bus station across the street). Would definately reccomend!
