We had a great week at Brigitte's house in Wissant. Ideal for a family with young kids. Even though we arrived earlier than expected due to the expected ferry delays that didn't materialise Brigitte was able to greet us soon after our arrival. Wissant is a lovely village with an amazing beach and quaint shops and restaurants. Would definitely come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, everything was as described and well equipped. It is nicely situated, a 5 minute walk into the village and no more than 10 minutes to the beach. Wissant is a lovely location, it's close to the Calais port, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and stunning sandy beaches. Brigitte was flexible with the check in and check out time which helped us make the most of our short stay of one night. We hope to stay again and for longer next time. We would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely family holiday in Wissant. Brigitte' house is bright and comfortable and well equipped. The house is ideally situated; close enough to the town and beach and with fantastic views overlooking rooftops to the sea.

This was a nice place for our family before crossing the channel. It looked like the pictures and everything was comfortable. Parking is a little tight but we managed to get our van in. We didn't know there was an extra charge for linen and that was a disappointment upon check in (which could have been smoother). Overall a good place and we would stay again.

Ce logement convient parfaitement pour deux personnes, est très fonctionnel (cuisine très bien équipée) et bien décoré. Propreté également parfaite . Rien à redire !

Appartement très sympathique dans le centre de Wissant, à 2 pas des commerces et de l'office du tourisme. Myriam a été très agréable et nous a même aidés - avec son mari - à résoudre un problème survenu lors de notre séjour (qui n'avait rien à voir avec le logement). Je recommande fortement l'appartement pour sa quiétude, sa propreté impeccable et sa proximité de toutes les facilités. Une seule remarque: il s'agit plus d'un gîte que d'un airbnb. Contrairement aux airbnb des autres pays où nous avons séjourné, il faut donc apporter ses propres épices ou encore le papier toilette. Autre remarque pour les accros de la technologie: il n'y a pas de wifi (ce qui ne nous a pas dérangés).

Patricia and Michel welcomed us perfectly and my son immediately ran off to play with the visiting grandchildren which was lovely to see and gave us a well needed break! We stayed just one night before taking the tunnel back in the morning - it was the perfect location with just 15 minutes to drive. The rooms were perfect, very comfortable and clean - and the grounds are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. thanks!

Patricia and Michel were wonderful hosts. Their BnB is in a peaceful and picturesque setting and their home is warm and inviting. A suggested dinner venue on the coast turned out to be an excellent tonic at the end of a long day. We highly recommend Maison Rouge to anybody wishing to spend time in the Calais area.

We arrived late as our ferry to Calais had been delayed but Patricia and her husband made us feel most welcome when we arrived. The house and the garden was lovely with a lot of character. We chatted while we had breakfast and we talked about our road trip in France and they made a few destination suggestions that we followed up. Overall, very hospitable a good choice and location.

We were made very welcome, and Patricia and Michelle were very accommodating as we arrived very late. They were also very helpful with out itinerary, making positive suggestions and helping with information. A good breakfast too. We enjoyed our brief stay and will stay again when next arriving in Calais.

The room was just as described, and looks very accurate to the photos. The room is very clean and tidy, with linen towels and a lot of quiet. The village offers peace and tranquility. We really enjoyed the tasty breakfast, coffee was just as we like it, and even received a gift from the owner of the house - homemade jam.

Our stay with Rania was great! The house itself is cozy and clean, with an excellently equipped kitchen and a nice rain shower. It's located extremely close to the beach (less than 5 min walk) as well. Rania was a wonderful host, helpful with check-in and check-out, and she even made sure there was some cold beer waiting for us on arrival.

Rania and her family are great hosts and we enjoyed our stay very much. The accomodation is new and in excellent condition. Only a short walk to the beach and to the city centre - very convenient. We will come again.

Very nice and cosy cottage! We (Family, two children, 6&8 years old) spent a week here and we really didn't miss anything at all! Rania is very very friendly and helpfull and the whole place is so clean, that you feel immidiatly comfortable. This accomodation is well located, it' s just a few minutes walk to the beach and the center of wissant. "Les pas sage" is fully recommended!

We stayed here for 5 nights with a toddler and a baby and it was great. The location is perfect; it is set back from the road in a quiet little town, about a 5 minute walk from the beach and there are shops about the same distance away. The villa itself has everything you need and is tastefully decorated. The owners are friendly and accommodating; we would recommend it to anyone.

A wonderful week with a unique view to the sea. What Barbara likes most was to open the eyes in the morning looking on the sea and still laying in bed. Hugues is the perfect host. Very communicative and very accommodating as well. He was always reachable. We had a small issue with the water heating but it was fixed in the morning. But what makes this studio the best is the view. You will not regret staying here. Hugues' place is a must it you're planning on staying in Wissant or the area.

Top location by the beach. Front-view terrace with sun in afternoon and evening. Both the building and apartment interior are basic and a bit outdated, but clean. The old shower may be off-putting to some. Hugues is a friendly and helpful host. Topographic maps of the area and several hiking tours were available for our use.

We only stayed in the appartment for one night, but it was so beautiful, we wished we could've stayed longer. The view is beautiful and the appartment is perfectly located in between the two capes.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans l’appartement de Stéphane. Le logement est refait à neuf, spacieux et comporte toutes les commodités nécessaires pour passer un séjour optimal. Stéphane a été très sympathique et accessible : il a notamment facilité notre entrée dans les lieux et nous a fourni de précieux renseignements sur le village et les activités à faire alentour. Très bon rapport qualité / prix au regard de l’offre globale de logement à Wissant. Bref, je vous recommande vivement Stéphane.

Gute, solide und ruhige Unterkunft, geräumig und groß, gute Parkmöglichkeit. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig o.k., die Terrasse teilen sich zwei Wohnungen. Wissant ist ein sehr malerischer Ort, die Unterkunft ist ca. 10-15 min. zu Fuß vom Ort und vom Strand entfernt. Stéphane war sehr nett, es hat alles gut geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The house is wonderfully decorated with attention to details. Maryline is a artist and it can be seen in how the accommodation is done. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend this place to others. It is within 10 mins walk to the town center and the beach. The accommodation also has a small garden which can be used. Both Maryline and her husband are great hosts. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of.

L'accueil est très agréable. Le gîte est petit mais meublé agréablement et possède toutes les nécessités de base. Le petit jardinet est un plus, même si dans notre cas la météo n'a pas permis qu'on en profite beaucoup. Notre gros chien a également été très bien accueilli par les propriétaires qui en ont deux eux-mêmes.

Maryline et son mari sont des hôtes charmants. Le gîte est situé dans un quartier très calme à proximité du centre de Wissant. Il est très bien entretenu, petit mais vraiment mignon. Parfait pour un couple. Il y a juste un petit problème d'insonorisation qui est dommage. Mais tout le reste est vraiment parfait. Impossible de trouver mieux au niveau du rapport qualité/prix. Merci à vous !

The apartment is very convenient and cosy, just 20 meters away from the see and a short walk to the village center It is well furnished and perfect for a couple or a small group of friends. It also has all the equipment you may need. The only drawback (even though it is clearly announced in the ad) is that there is no wi-fi... but who needs internet when you are such a nice location as Wissant! Highly recommended! L'appartement est parfaitement situé et très agréable, à juste 20 mètres de la mer et a quelques minutes a pied du centre du village. Il est meublé avec goût et est parfait pour un couple ou un petit groupe d'amis. Tout l'équipement ménager/électrique est aussi fourni. Le seul petit défaut est le manque de Wifi mais c'est clairement annoncé dans l'annonce... de plus, qui a besoin d'internet quand on se trouve dans un cadre aussi beau que celui de Wissant! Je recommande chaudement.

Small place with everything you need

Great location in the quiet and little village of Wissant and very nice to have the sea view from the terrace. Appartment provides everything you need, kitchen is wel equipped (big fridge/freezer, oven and microwave) and nice shower (rain shower). Very friendly owner and easy communication!

Le logement est idéalement situé avec une jolie vue sur la mer depuis le balcon. Il est très bien équipé et d'une propreté irréprochable. On y dort paisiblement car l'endroit est très calme. Les commerces sont à 5 min à (URL HIDDEN) plage à un jet de pierre... Bref, un pied-à-terre parfait pour tous les amoureux de la Côte d'Opale...Une adresse à garder précieusement!

Het was een geweldig verlengd weekend in een gezellig appartementje waar je perfect met 2 tot 3 personen kan logeren. En vanop het terras kan je bij goed weer de kustlijn zien van Engeland. De uitgestrekte stranden zijn ideaal voor mooie wandelingen en de rust een kalmte is onbeschrijfelijk. Een echt aanrader.

We stayed with Elisabeth for a couple of days and were very pleased. The location is remote and thus quiet, but there are plenty of things to do only a few minutes away. The place is childfriendly (we stayed with a little babygirl) and has its own terrace. Contact with Elisabeth was quick and she was very friendly. Highly recommended.

The mini flat is very nice with a spacious bedroom. Close to calais port ( 27min). The area is lovely.

Elisabeth offers a wonderful self contained little flat attached to her home. It consists of a spacious bedroom, a small little kitchenette, toilet and bathroom with an outdoor balcony space. Communication was very clear and Elisabeth made sure we were well taken care. She left us breakfast in the refrigerator and many guides on what to do in the area. Her house is in the small village of Audembert surrounded by beautiful fields and only a 10 minute drive away from the lovely seaside town of Wissant. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a wonderful holiday in the Côte d'Opale.

Elisabeth was very welcoming and the house was perfect, an idependent studio with view on a wonderful graden. Audembert it's a nice little village, the countryside is great, perfect for hiking or biking in the area and on the coast. She drove us to the bus station in the morning when we left, and this was very kind and much appreciated :)

Elisabeth has been very kind and nice host, the room is big and provided with coffee machine, juices, milk and cereals for breakfast ! The garden is amazing and the surrounding very relaxing :) We should come back again!

We arrived in a small, peacefull village in a distance to the cost of maybe 5 - 10 Minutes. A nice and friendly Elisabeth and her daughter were welcoming us, having been so patient with us coming much later then we had anounced. A spacious sleeping room with a green view into the garden was awaiting us plus a terrasse and a small eating room equiped with a fridge, microwave and several basic products, like coffie and tea, etc. Everything was very clean. A lot of nice details could be found. Everything seems to be done with love and thoughts to the possible needs of the guests. Thanks a lot.

Very cute and charming caravan in an amazing part of France. A 15 minute drive gets you to an amazing beach, and a 15 minute walk gets you to the nearby shore. Sylvie was an excellent host and made sure that I was well taken care of.

Such as nice caravan! 40 years old but it really looked like new! The beach nearby the caravan is even more beautiful and less touristic as Cap blanc nez (which is only a few minutes away). On a sunny afternoon in july, we spend several hours completely alone (!) on this wide beach. Perfect for a day or two!

We really enjoyed this airbnb. The room was spacious and had nice decor. The surrounding area was really pretty - we especially enjoyed watching the sunset at Audresselles. Philippe was very welcoming and friendly (with excellent English) and made us feel very comfortable in his home. His dogs are also very cute! Overall we would definitely recommend.

Philippe speaks good English and is a very friendly and welcoming host. His house in the countryside - around 20 mins from Calais - is clean, simple and beautifully furnished. The bedroom is very quiet, at the end of the house and has a comfortable bed, wash basin in the room, good reading light, plenty of power points and access to WIFI. The countryside around, particularly towards Aurdasseles is stunning and well worth a visit if you have time. Recommended

It was a great pleasure to stay at Philippe's place. It's a beautiful and cozy house on the country side. Especially in the evenings we enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace. You can have great conversations, yummy dinners and funny Flamish table game sessions with Philippe and his son Paolo. Sometimes you can even convince Paolo for a match on his Playstation! The bed was comfortable and the "rainforest" shower a real experience. :D Definitely our best AirBnB experience so far, thank you so much!

The room is super cosy and Philippe is extremely friendly, a very down-to-earth kind of guy. The house is located in the middle of nature and about 10 minutes drive to the sea side. His dogs are wonderfull! The house feels like home away from home, i recommend this room to anyone!

Magnifique séjour!

Emplacement idéal. En plein centre et en même temps au calme et vraiment à 2 pas de la plage. Le salon est top et vraiment accueillant, on s'y sent super bien. L'appartement est globalement bien conçu avec 3 chambres, la cuisine et la salle de bain sont très fonctionnelles et il y a vraiment tout en terme de produits premiers besoins. Nous avons juste prix l'apéro dehors à cause du temps, mais c'était bien sympa d'avoir la courette. Super accueil à l'arrivée (et pas mal d'échanges hyper rapides avec la propriétaire) et facile à trouver !

De fotos in de advertentie hebben mij doen besluiten deze accommodatie te boeken. Echter het was veel ruimer als de foto's doen vermoeden, helemaal TOP dus. Het appartement was zeer schoon en verzorgd. Rebecca is een zeer active host, vroeg geregeld hoe het was en gaf ons de laatste weerberichten door. Zeker een aanrader!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Patrick's apartment and enjoyed our time there. It was a pity not to meet him personally but the contact with him was very good and fast and he took care of all questions we had. The apartment has a perfect location in Wissant and is well equipped and spacious! Only the outside of the building needs a new painting ;) Ever time again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Patrick's flat. The location is very nice and clean. The balcony has a great view and we were able to watch some very beautiful sunsets. Wissant is a pretty village with renovated villas and fisherman's houses. We enjoyed wandering through the streets as well as visiting the surrounding areas. Patrick's apartment is simple and comfortable with everything we needed for our 4- day holiday. It is open and light and, most importantly, it has a view of the sea. Email communication with Patrick was prompt and thorough.

The studio apartment is well-equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Michele is a friendly, welcoming host who provided everything we needed and more. All in all, the "nest" exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and smart decor of the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem hat Sie immer sofort (also wirklich innerhalb von 3 min) auf Nachrichten geantwortet. Die Wohnung/ das Zimmer hat alles was man brauch und ist für 2 Personen definitiv groß genug und sehr gemütlich mit den Dachgiebeln. Die Umgebung ist angenehm ruhig und ländlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auf jeden fall top! da lohnt es sich auch mit dem Auto nach Wissant 15min an den Strand zu fahren, anstatt dort eine viel teurere unterkunft zu nehmen. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!:)

Anna Marie and her husband are very kind and friendly. They always tried to make our stay comfortable and easy. What we needed last minute they were happy to help us. They really tried to make sure we had everything we needed. Two bicycles, umbrellas, a lot of towels, two bottles of very good wine - it is even difficult to remember all the things. They met us at the Calais train station and we could see the main sightseeings on our way to their house. They picked us up to the Calais port when we were leaving. They showed us around the house and were very hospitable. The rooms were just perfect for what we needed. The apartment was furnished to a very high spec. It was even better then it could be imagined when looking at the pictures. The house was beautiful and modern. The rooms were very spacious, clean and the bed sheets had a wonderful clean smell. The apartment is in a perfect location to have a very good rest. It takes only 2-3 minutes walking to get from the door of the house to an excellent restaurant, to a nice cafe with a good access to the Internet and a small wonderful bakery where you can always get fresh baguettes and croissants. We would highly recommend staying here! Thanks!!!

Anne Marie was very correct and quick in responding. Her place is just as described. It is very well equipped with all you need to have a comfortable time. Internet worked great. She even had a huge amount of toys and books available for my 3 year old son to play. During our visit the weather was a bit cold, and the house was nice and warm all the time. When we arrived there was some food available for us to get us started, which was really appreciated. The fridge had marmalade, butter etc...there was also coffee, cocoa sugar oil etc available. The house is very well located if you want to visit the capes. Very close to other villages like Audreselles etc... Very close to the house you can find a bakery with lovely fresh bread and a nice restaurant. We really enjoyed our visit.

We enjoyed our stay very much, very clean comfortable modern house . Having bicycles to cycle to the sea and to the restaurant was great. Anne Marie welcomed us herself and left wine, food and provisions. She was available to answer any questions we had.. The house is in a lovely area near the sea with nice restaurants. W and R

Anne Marie is a loverly host and very passionate about her little gîte :) We spent the weekend there and even though the weather was not quite nice as we would have liked, our stay was! The restaurant across the street is well worth the recommendation! Not expensive and very good food. (and they have the possibility to take-out some dishes, just for Anne Marie's guests!) The walk to cap griz nez is just under 3,5km and well worth your time! (the sunset there was quite a show)

Anne Marie's house provided everything we needed and she was very helpful with showing us around. The surroundings were beautiful and we had a nice and quiet stay.

Anne Marie was a very good and friendly host. She gave every information we needed, made us feel at home with some little snacks and arranged some bikes for us so that we could explore the neighborhood by bike. The house was perfect for our stay in Wissant, it was nearby the coast (5min by bike), clean and fully equipped for a good stay. We (myself and 2 friends) enjoyed it very much!

Super accueil d'Anne-Marie qui connaît très bien la région et ses bonnes adresses. Le logement est propre, très commode et on a même des petites surprises en arrivant. Il est en sus très très bien situé pour visiter (même à pied) la Côte d'Opale.

Appartement confortable et très bien placé : à deux pas de la mer et de tous commerces (et pourtant très calme la nuit). Literie parfaite. Et Wissant est vraiment un endroit à découvrir ! Allez-y !

Bien que nous ne sommes restés que deux jours, l'appartement était très bien. Il se trouve dans un des plus beaux petits villages de la Côte d'Opale. C'est certain que nous reviendrons, peut-être déjà en été. Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander cette adresse à nos amis. Un grand merci.
