Everything was perfect and well prepared even Caroline wasn't there to greet us. A beautiful cottage surrounded with a well kept orchard and garden. Adorable cats were welcoming us in front of the cottage. Well behaved and always waiting outisde to get petted. It is a very nice and quiet area with Mont Saint Michel really close. Caroline was always reachable and we had everything we've needed. Hope next time we will meet her in person :-)

Caroline was a great and professional host. She helped me a lot with the organization of our trip, before, during and after our staying. We loved her cottage so much that we didn' t want to leave it. Caroline and Tom are a super nice couple. We ( two adults and two childrens) had a short but very nice stay at their cottage which is clean and neat, well equipped. It is only 20 mins away from the Mont Saint-Michel by the way.

The "Petit Lapin" was charming, and Caroline a very gracious host, accommodating my wife and me and our three adult children, making room in her home for two of them. Sains is a charming and authentic little community in Brittany, with easy access to roads leading to Mont St. Michel, Rennes, and other interesting villages. The home is relatively small, but warm and with all the amenities desired. Especially helpful were all the maps and guides, and it was interesting to read the journal of the adventures shared by guests worldwide.

Le Petit Lapin is exactly as described...only better!! Caroline does an outstanding job of welcoming guests with fresh flowers, a notebook full of suggestions, personal attention, and good old-fashioned friendliness! The terrace and outdoor spaces are wonderful to sit and relax after a day of touring. Mont St Michel is about 15-20 minutes away, Bayeux about 1.5 hours. We also visited the beaches Caroline suggested for a relaxing Saturday. Stay as long as you can in this location and charming accommodation. There's lots to see and do, and at the end of the day you'll return to comfortable, charming accommodations!

Our stay at "Le Petit Lapin" was a wonderful experience, although too short. The cottage is very cosy, comfortable and private, offering all amenities for a family of 4 or for 2 couples. Lots of room to play or relax in the large yard and orchard. Excellent base for driving around Bretagne. A GPS is very useful, as the corn in the surrounding cornfields is quite tall at this time of the year and you feel like driving through a maze at times. Caroline is a very good host. She provided information on the area attractions, restaurants, etc, and treated us to fresh fruit from her orchard. We would definitely return!

We (6 adults, 3 children) had an amazing time in this house. It is spacious, luxurious and very well equipped. The garden is awesome as well! Our host (Yves) was extremely nice and helpfull. I can definitely recommend staying here and will do so to anyone who would like to hear!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend there. The house is in superb condition and is equipped with more than everything you need. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the overall atmosphere in and outside the house wonderfully relaxing. This has been the best kept, economic and hearty property I have visited through airbnb thus far. The location is very convenient close to Mont-Saint-Michel as well as Saint-Malo, while offering the tranquility of the beautiful Norman countryside. The owners are incredibly helpful and their hospitality goes a long way. We (the 11 of us) can only highly recommend this place for your vacation in this area.

This is a great house for a family holiday in a beautiful rural location close to the coast. The house had ample space for 9 of us and the garden was wonderful. Edith's father gave us a delightful welcome to the house and made us feel very at home. I would highly recommend this for a very relaxing break.

We stayed for 12 nights at the house during August. I was late in arriving but warmly greeted by Yves who showed me absolutely everything I needed to know about the accommodation and the area. A lovely host and very helpful. We were two families with 3 adults and 5 children. The children loved the garden and the space to play in. The adults loved sitting in the beautiful sunshine sipping local wine! The house was generously sized inside, plenty of room for all of us and more. Its a really well located property, everything seems to be within 30 minutes drive, some gorgeous places to visit. The location is excellent, overlooking the Mont Saint Michel. The apartment is great, low prices, cleanliness perfect. The furniture and fittings are new. There are towels and linen for 4 people. The area is quiet and very safe. Martine is very nice and immediately respond to any requirement. Note 10/10! French breakfast is perfect. Jean-Pierre and his wife was so hospitable and kind. He kept contacting us the day before we check-in and recommended food that near Mont Saint Michel; The time he knew that we were walking 70 mins to his house(we were backpacker and there were no public transportation), he immediately went out looking for us. Then we arrived, he checked the bus schedule to Rennes and made the appointment with us in order to take us to the bus station(bus station to the flat take 1 hour by foot). Overall, we had a nice time staying with Jean-Pierre, if you are searching for a nice experience and want to practice French, I recommend him.

I had such a lovely stay here - Jean was happy to drive me to and from MSM each day and prepared a lovely breakfast in the morning. The surrounding countryside is just as beautiful, I even walked through the towns to MSM one day - 3km but so beautiful and worth it! The house is a charming renewed farm house in a very quiet and lovely neighborhood. Jean-Pierre is a very attentive host, he cared for every need we had and helped us reach the free shuttles to Mt Saint Michel. It is indeed a great choice for those who want to visit this magical sight.

When we arrived Jean Pierre was waiting for us at the entrance of the building, with a big smile and proud of his converted farm. He showed us our room and all the available facilities. The stay was nice and warm. We took a tea together before going to bed and they were with us taking a great breakfast with home made confitures. It's always good to know a bit of the local way of living!

Jean-Pierre and Michelle were the kindest hosts ever! They welcomed us and offered us tea, showed us to our room and offered to give us directions to the restaurant we were going for dinner. The room was exactly like in the picture, the bed was comfortable and the toilet was very clean! Additionally, the next morning breakfast was unbeatable, with croissants, pain freshly made, and jams made by themselves! We chatted during breakfast (in our broken French :) and we got to hear about other Airbnb guests who have stayed at Jean-Pierre's. It was one of my best Airbnb experiences so far.

This is a beautiful house and Caroline was a helpful host. She answered any questions regarding access on the day of our arrival. This area is also very pretty and very close to Mont St. Michel, as long as you are driving. The only thing we were a little surprised by was the extra charge for towels and sheets, this was a first for us.

We really enjoyed staying at Caroline's rental. The home was charming and a great location for visiting Mount Saint Michel. Caroline was very responsive to the questions we raised and access to the rental was just as described. The rental was a good value--though we were a bit surprised by the additional charges for bedding/towels. Overall it was a great place to stay that I would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

The house is very beautiful and cozy for 8 people. Especially my kids loved double bunk beds. The stair is steep and narrow for baby under 3years. Stayed here with a group of 4 other lads after a long day of cycle touring. Perfect retreat with everything clean and tidy on arrival. Good shower and comfy beds in a quiet neighbourhood - what else do you need to recuperate the legs. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful old stone house, with lots of character. We really loved staying here. Be careful of low doorways if you're tall though - my husband banged his head more than a few times! The kitchen is big and appeared to be well equipped, although we didn't cook on our one night there. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. There's really not much in the village, so you need a car (or a bike?) to get groceries or find a restaurant, but the area is beautiful to drive around. A week before arrival we were told sheets and towels weren't included. Since we were driving and bringing them anyway it wasn't a big deal for us, but I'd imagine if you are flying it might be inconvenient. We didn't meet Caroline but she answered emails very quickly.

Trés belle maison ! Avec une vue imprenable sur le Mont Saint Michel ! Les 5 chambres ayant chacune leur propre salle de bain + WC, c'est parfait! Le petit village d'huisnes sur mer n'est pas bien vivant mais il y a des choses pas si loin ( prendre la voiture est obligatoire !) ou aller au Mont Saint Michel à pied (2h) pour les plus courageux ! L 'hôte est agréable, mis à part un souci de communication ( ne repondait jamais aux messages air bnb, ni aux textos) vraiment difficile de la joindre pour avoir des renseignements. Mais finalement tout s'est bien passé ! À noter, la maison est isolée avec beaucoup de terrain MAIS l'hôte habite juste à côté !

My husband and I are travelling all over France for our honeymoon and Annick's place is the first Airbnb we stayed at. It's also our first time not having an airbnb place on our own. Annick is a wonderful host. My husband and I speak very little french but she tried to accomodate us the best she could. She went over and beyond as she even booked us a barefoot walking tour of the bay of Mont St Michel which was a memorable experience. She called and made reservations for us at a restaurant. She makes breakfast from scratch...crepes, caramel sauce, croissants and different jams. They were soooo good, we wish we were able to pack some for the road. I wish we spoke more french so we could actually make conversations with her. Staying with Annick was like coming home.

Our stay was impeccable. better than a five star hotel. The room is so comfortable and accommodating. Annick has thought of everything, you wont be missing anything. And breakfast is to die for. Annick & Michel were the perfect hosts. We don't speak French but Annick has a little English so we got by well enough. A warm welcome & even warmer weather. The house is very beautiful and tactfully decorated with the most wonderful furniture we have ever seen. Every morning we had a fantastic breakfast of home made crepes with home made preserves of rhubarb, plum & fig all from Annicks garden & a selection of fresh fruits & juices... PERFECT. We were given directions, advice & Annick even drove with us through Polders to Mont St Michel ( short cut ) nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Annick to anybody for central location to all places, but just wait till you see the breakfast.... We had a wonderful holiday. Annick is probably the best host we've ever meet!!! She is such a energetic, accommodating and well prepared host! She picked us up from the Pontorson train station in the morning and also dropped us off at the bus station the next day. She let us use her bikes to ride to the Mont. And of course the homemade crapes breakfast was as unbelievable as everyone else had mentioned!! We had wonderful conversations with her and also her cousin who was visiting from Belgium. The room is also very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at Annick's home.

My boyfriend and I stayed with Annick for a night in April. The room and bed at her charming house are beautiful and comfortable and breakfast was delicious - homemade crepes with caramel, croissants, a baguette with homemade plum jam. But Annick's place is a must because of her hospitality! She was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to help us out. My boyfriend was sick so she decided to accompany me to Mt St Michel. When we realized we'd need to call him an ambulance, she helped us communicate with the French paramedics and drove all the way to St Malo to pick us up when he got out of the hospital. Annick is a wonderfully kind, thoughtful host and you'd be missing out if you don't stay with her on a visit to Mt St Michel!

Our stay with Annick was absolutely wonderful! Her home is so lovely and welcoming, as was Annick herself. She greeted us at her house (in a lovely rural area of France), showed us to our cozy room with everything we needed for a nice stay, and then lead us in her own car through the windy back streets to the Mont St. Michel parking lots (cutting our driving time in half so that we got there in under 10 minutes!). The next morning before our departure she made us an incredible and authentic French breakfast (with the most delicious crepes and caramel sauce!) and we had a lovely chat over tea and coffee. Such a wonderful stay! We highly recommend both Annick as a host (and wonderful person) and her lovely home!

Nathalie and Louis's home is immaculate. The home is located about 15-20 minute walk from the train station and restaurants. The bedroom is very comfortable. I loved waking with the sun and birds singing every morning. The grounds are beautiful and the 3 chickens that roam them are quite entertaining. Louis gave me a ride to the station one morning to catch the bus to Le Mont Saint-Michel which is very close to town. Nathalie invited me to dinner my last evening which was very nice and the meal was spectacular. I really enjoyed my stay with this wonderful family and highly recommend their home. I hope to make it back some day.

This was my first Airbnb experience that wasn't like a hostel and I think I'll be comparing every place I stay from now on back to this place. Natalie, her husband and daughter looked after us so well. Picked us up and dropped us off at the station, let us rent their bikes when we found out bikes couldn't be rented in March and provided us with tea and cookies for breakfast. I was very happy staying at their place. They went above and beyond from what I expected.

This family is so lovely and helpful! Nathalie and her husband Loui picked us up from the train station (it was quite late at night too) and then even drove us into town so that we could get food before a restaurant closed! They are so sweet and kind - what a treat to have when traveling! We only stayed 2 nights because we came to see Le Mont Saint Michel ( a must see); they helped us figure out the bus system to the abbey, and made sure we knew how to get to where we were going the next day. Their house is really big and nice, they have a huge kitchen and were very open to holding our stuff in their fridge. The language barrier was a bit of a challenge, but their kindness and heartfelt concern for us and our trip was greatly appreciated! If you are coming to see Le Mont St. Michel, stay here! It is easy to get there, and you won't regret staying with this lovely family.

Jean-Pierre was a fabulous host! He showed us around, gave us free rein of the garden, recommended a good place to eat. The room is small but adequate, and sharing the bathroom with the other couple was not an inconvenience. Breakfast was amazing, featuring jams that Jean-Pierre had made from the fruit of his farm (the building dated 1758) - apples, cherries, prunes, raspberries, on and on. Nothing lavish, but absolutely delicious with such a homey touch. Best of all, Jean-Pierre totally saved my bacon! I thought I had made a reservation at a hotel on le Mont St. Michel for the following night, but I discovered to my chagrin that the reservation was for the night we were at Jean-Pierre's!! Since this was a celebration for my wife's birthday, I was devastated. Jean-Pierre spent half an hour on the phone finding a hotel with a vacant room the following night, relieving me of the trauma of the consequences of a stupid screw-up! We couldn't have asked for a kinder, more generous host.

Jean-Pierre house is very close to Mont Saint Michel about 8 km away. We stayed only one night, but we reached Mont Saint Michel twice! :) First time late in the evening, the next day after wonderful breakfast with Jean-Pierre, we went again to visit the Mont Saint Michel. Great communication and a warm welcome when we arrived. It is really nice to have a place for yourself for the stay (small kitchen, bathroom, living area and seperate bedroom). Virgine is a really nice person. When we arrived to Pontorson, we called her and she picked us up so we didn’t have to walk all the way to her house. Once we arrived to her home we found a beautiful and clean apartment, were my couple of friends and I had more than enough space to sleep and leave our things. They offered us breakfast and all the relevant information regarding the touristic things to do at the city. I totally recommend staying with Virgine and her family they are wonderful people!

We had a nice stay at Virginie's House. It was nice, clean and comfortable for my familiy (2 adults + 2 kids). If you want Virginie offers also a nice breakfast. The accomodation is right on the other side, so it's on the one hand near and on the other hand you have your own space. Everything was fine and we felt at home.

This was a clean, large area, with bedroom and living area, easy to find, close to Mt St Michele. The small city location was out of a movie, historic, quiet, beautiful. The breakfast was very good. Our host was wonderful, we only stayed one night but would go back in a minute if we come back to the area.

We had a great time in the Frédérique housing. The property is very pleasant, whether the large garden (very well maintained) or the house itself, which offers spacious and is tastefully furnished. It is quite suitable for children with the indoor and outdoor games and books available. Frédérique is becoming a very friendly and attentive host. We highly recommend this property and will return with pleasure.

Very cosy home with big garden and very friendly, helpfull host. The home is nicely decorated and has more than the comfort for a stay with 4 persons. Upon our arrival there were fresh flowers on the table, no detail is forgotten. Highly recommended!

Nice nice quiet house. Well appointed, overlooking a charming and quiet garden. Children have benefited greatly from the garden and surprises that Frederique for its little guests.
