Nice apartment that has everything you need and very friendly host!

Really great we were really delighted it was the first time that we take airbnb and travel (trip of our 50 years). We had a slight problem with airport luggage and when we arrived we were surprised to have on the spot basic necessities like toothpaste, toilet paper, shampoo, shower gel etc ... Thuomas provides us with towels, sheets which do not add to the weight of the suitcase. The apartment is in the city which makes it possible to have the shuttle at home for 16 euros for 2 people so the expense of picking us up for excursions. 15 mins walk from the museum to see the Northern Lights. Great apartment.

Tuomas was a very friendly host! His apartment was very clean and tidy! The location is very close to the city centre, so you can just walk to anywhere! And the neighborhood was very quiet! I would definately recommend this place whether you are there just for a night or for more days!

I had a great time

One of the best places for my Nordic trip. The building’s interior design is a well representation of the Nordic Modernism style. The apartment is very nice, clean and comfy. The best part is the private car park closet. The host was very responsive and kind. The location is so centrally located! Highly highly recommend!!!

When I arrived in Rovaniemi, I picked up the car at the airport and reached the landlord's home in 12 minutes by car. The location of the B & B is very good. There is a large supermarket five minutes away, where daily necessities, food, vegetables, fruits and meat can be bought. The host's home was comfortable and clean. The landlord also has his own garage, so that our car can cook without having to roar in the snow at night, complete with kitchen utensils and electrical appliances. After washing the thick sweater, you can put it on the electric heater and dry it the next day. Bringing home with a baby is really nice! There is a large balcony, but it is too cold and the scenery is very beautiful! If there is a chance, we will stay again! Thank you for your patience and hospitality.

Our stay in Rovaniemi was short but totally worth and Pekka’s accommodation definitely had a role in this. The place is easy to reach and Pekka is very welcoming. He waited for us to check-in and showed us the house. It was deeply clean and cozy. The sofa-bed and the beds are comfortable. If you need information on what to do in Rovaniemi area just have a look at the magazines basket that the host prepared for you, it will surely be helpful. There is also a garage where you can park your car if needed, super helpful! Enjoy your stay at Pekka’s place and go out for northern lights!

Nice and warm place for winter vacation. Thanks so much for Pekka waiting us for long cause our luggage were stuck in the airport and giving us a nice introduction. It is also close to supermarket and convenient to railway station & Santa Claus Village by bus 8.

Large apartment with a very good location. We were in Rovaniemi for one day and could see a lot of sights due to the good location. The apartment is clean and Pekka is a nice host who has some tips.

Sparkling clean apartment. In a quiet neighbourhood, Strategically located within Rovaniemi sentrum with plenty of good eateries and shopping centres. Ideal for 2 travellers. Amenities such as washing machine is provided. However, It may take about 15 mins to walk to the train station. Nevertheless, would highly recommend this place.

It was a convenient location near the bus stop, about 5 minutes to the city center. Room was clean and comfortable. Recommended when staying in Rovaniemi.

Apartment very clean and with everything you need to have a good accommodation. BUS and TAXI stop very close which facilitates travel. If you go with children there is a very close Angry Birds playground where the kids will have a great time.

Joni's place is in a great location. His instructions were super clear and we were able to find the apartment quite quickly. The apartment itself is very clean and spacious enough for 2 people.

Elina's place offers everything you need! The apartment is small but very cozy and spot clean. Communication has been excellent. We did self-check-in which gave us a lot of flexibility. The cleaning lady finished her work earlier in order for us to get into the apartment early. Besides of this, she also helped us out immediately by sending her mum to help us when we had some troubles with opening the box for the keys during the self-check-in. There was fully flexibility and disposition from their end!!! Everything was just perfect. Thanks a lot for everything, Elina & Janina! Take care, Stefanie

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was very close to the city centre and bus/train station. The hosts are very kind and friendly. They helped us a lot informing us about bus timetables, places to visit and activities to do.

Vira and Veli-Matti are amazing hosts. When we arrived they gave us lots of information about what to do and were to eat in Rovaniemi and also found out some current information about chances for northern lights. The Appartement is perfectly located and everything looks just like in the pictures. If we are ever back in Rovaniemi we would definitely check if we can stay with them again

A small cosy place right in the center of Rovaniemi, conveniently located next to amenities and restaurants. The place is a 15 minute walk from the railway station and 5 minutes from the center of Rovaniemi. There is the Arctic Museum and Arctic park very close to the apartment. Bus stop to Santa Village and airport is just a 5 min walk from here. Veli and Vira are amazing hosts who ensure comfort of their guests. We were welcomed at 08h00 in the morning (although the checkin time was 18:00) with all smiles. Since Vira had to leave for work, she quickly gave us an idea for spending our day. She even suggested us a very well renowned touring company for the guided tour for northern lights. For 4 nights of our stay, due to her hectic schedule we could only manage to meet and greet her. But her partner Veli was around for a while and we interacted a lot over meals. Veli guided us well through the city and suggested a very beautiful hike 20 mins walkable distance from the apartment. With our conversations, we were also introduced to the Finnish culture. It was a pleasure being hosted by them. P. S. - the books on Finnish culture kept for guests are an amazing read.

A private sauna is also provided every time, and the house is very cozy, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is pleasant and the transportation and sightseeing spots are so friendly.

After a loooong journey, we arrived pretty late at Vira & Veli-Matti's home. Vira shared all her tips about the city, what to do, what to see and we did most of it! Our holidays in Lapland couldn't have started any better!

Wonderful small apartment in the outskirts of Rovaniemi. With the microwave it is feasible to survive without having a proper kitchen and the private sauna is really worth accepting that ;) The apartment is located about 10 minutes from the city center by car. Even in winter you have a path for running besides the road which you can run for several kilometers. Absolutely recommend to stay here!

Really quaint and beautiful little guesthouse. Provided covered parking was wonderful and easy to get to. Apartment itself is superbly clean and tasteful, filled to the brim with lovely, attentive touches from teas and coffees to possibly the cutest sauna guide I've seen. Everything was working and clean, the sauna deserves a special mention, never a bad thing when traveling Lapland in February. Apartment itself is warm and well-equipped. Absolutely fantastic choice!

Amazing place! The quality you get for this price is unbelievable. There is fully equipped private sauna, which is the best way to warm up after a frosty day in Lapland. Although there is no proper kitchen, there is a microwave, kettle and cuttlery, some snacks, tea, coffee and even hot chocolate. Communication was very quick and easy. Highly recommend!

Such a cute and quaint place to stay in Rovaniemi. The hosts were super nice and accommodating since our flight was after checkout time and they let us stay there a bit longer. The sauna was a great perk after a long cold day. You need a car to stay here but it’s a great option if you want to stay outside the craziness of a city. Would highly recommend.

Max & Marina were superb hosts. Awesome communication from day one & the location of the apartment is perfect for anything we wanted to do in the city. A great space with everything we needed - and when our original airport transport failed, Marina was a huge help in booking a taxi for us for a 4am pick up! Finland is such a great place and if we are able to return to this area, we would stay here again, without question!

Lauri is a great host. His hospitality is amazing. Quick responses to messages from the time I booked the place. His apart is Clean and tidy with all the amenities and spacious. Sauna is a big plus especially in the freezing winter. Location is very convenient to go anywhere. Bus stop is about 5-6 minutes walk , in which you can get bus to Santa claus, airport and etc. Overall, my friend and I had a good stay at Laurie's apartment. Lauri's apartment was the best for our trip to Lapland. So cozy, every tiny detail makes you feel like in a fairy tail. Sauna is perfect for returning home from the winter. It's a stylish place suitable for a small family in the midst of the city centre. The sparkling clean house with a warm welcome from Lauri makes you feel homely.

Sauna is a huge bonus! Very close to city center and easy to get around the place. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay definitely again!

The apartment is cosy, warm and clean. It has everything we need for cooking and washing and has a sauna which is fantastic on cold winter nights. It is a few minutes’ walk from tourist info, big supermarket, small 24 hours convenient store, big shopping mall and artikum. The host Lauri is super friendly and very helpful and always respond within minutes. He even picked us up at the airport on the very cold day when we arrived. My daughter said “5 out of 5”.

We had a lovely stay at Mari and Kaj's place. The apartmet has a perfect location and it is decorated with nice Finnish design touches. Communication with the hosts was smooth and easy. Highly recommended!

The apartment is small but comfortable and well set out. The location is excellent for amenities and close to the shops, river and centre of town. We spent Christmas in Roveniemi and it was an ideal place for our trip, with easy access to all the activities on offer in this fun and relaxed town. The apartment would work well for a couple or small family. It’s in a quiet area and the building has a small but handy lift.

My family and I had a pleasant stay at Mari's place. We stayed there for 4 nights. Mari's husband, Kaj was waiting for us when we arrived. We were very glad of his hospitality and friendliness. Mari's place is exactly how she describes. The place is clean and the location is very strategic.

The apartment is located in good proximity (less than 500 mts) to a local bus stop, city centre and restaurants. There are couple of direct buses to the airport which is about 8 kms away. The view from the apartment is non-obstructed and hence it maybe possible to view the Northern Lights from the apartment itself, if one is lucky :). Overall a very well furnished apartment with all the basic requirements for a comfortable holiday.

Thomas’ place had everything we needed for an amazing few days away in Rovaniemi. His place is cosy and homey, with lots of local tips, a super comfy bed, great facilities, in our own winter wonderland! Would highly recommend his place, and hope to come back to stay again soon!

Thomas was a great host, he picked us up for check in and gave us a few rides around town, also some helpful advice and he looked online to find answers to questions he didn't immediately know. Everything was exactly as advertised, it was a very cute and cosy little place, and although we only were able to stay for one night we felt at home.

Great value accommodation on the outskirts of Rovaniemi. The Captain's Cabin was clean, cosy and warm and had everything we could possibly need. Thomas our host was very welcoming and was extremely knowledgeable on all interesting local attractions. We spent quite a few hours walking the snowy streets around the accommodation. The area the place is in is beautiful. Easy check in via lock box. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Perfect. Thanks for all the amenities. The equipment was perfect (washing machine / dryer / robot vacuum cleaner / dishwasher ...) and excellent communication, very accommodating host. Housing perfectly located opposite a supermarket and 10 minutes from everything (city center / Santa Claus village). Just a caveat regarding the cleanliness of the kitchen, but very clean bathroom. Most beautiful than photography.

Esa is fabulous host and the apartment is brilliant - great location (15min walk to city center, the super market next door) . The apartment is very well done and being in ground floor great access time play in snow . Loved it!

Very nice apartment clean and nicely fully equipped. It is spacious and comfortable we were 4 adults and 2 kids. He was very kind with us. Helped us out with all our requests. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and obviously will be back if I am back in Rovaniemi. Supermarket just opposite the road. Parking in front of apartment 10 mins away from airport 8 mins from train station. And 8 mins to Santa’s Village. He also gave sledges to kids to play with. Which was a plus for the kids. Esa provides a top quality apartment. He went out of his way to provide very detailed and helpful information about the local amenities prior to our visit. ESA picked us up from the airport, which made our late arrival totally stress free. Not only that but he had stocked up some groceries meaning that the next morning we had breakfast again making our first morning very easy. The apartment is very clean and spacious enough for our family of 5. It had everything we could have needed. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone going to stay in Rovaniemi. Well equipped, excellent clean room where I went for a week of commuting.

The accommodation was neat and clean. A bit far from the center but the walk there is very nice and leads through the forest. Esa is a very friendly and helpful host.

It was very good than we thought. The room was cozy and had everything needed. I had to walk a bit in the city but it was quieter and nicer. The little mart was so close there was no inconvenience. It was good so that we want to go again next time.

I had a great stay at Eveliina’s cozy studio in Rovaniemi. The building is easy to find and well located for coffee, restaurants, activity pickups and public transportation. Studio itself is cute, quiet, comfortable and is well equipped for self-catering. Check in and out was a breeze and Eveliina was easy to get a hold of - thanks!

Right in the city center, shopping is very convenient, the house is clean and quiet, and all kinds of information are in the house manual. The only drawback is that there is no elevator, which can be a bit difficult if the luggage is heavy.

The place is in the city Center. The building is safe and clean. The apartment is homey and clean. The kitchen is well - equipped .

Kiki is a great host, very welcoming and attentive, the house is very beautiful, the equipment is complete, the design of the sauna is also very good, we spent a very enjoyable 2 days at her house.

Kiki's place was excellent. About 10min walk from the centre of Rovaniemi, the location was superb for active people who like walking! Very cosy and well equipped - functional little kitchen, coffee machine, lots of lights (needed this time of year this far north!) and a comfortable sauna. Had a really good stay! If you, like me, prefer harder beds, you may find the one here soft. Thanks for having us Kiki, been a pleasure!

This very nice apartment is within a very easy walk of the shopping area, many restaurants, small grocery store and the pickup locations for many of the tour operators. The apartment was very comfortable for two people.

The place is really nice, reachable by bus and has a supermarket nearby. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Kati was really helpful. She replied me quickly and always helped me out when we had some problems. If there was a dryer and hair dryer, it would be perfect.

Alisa is a great and Kind host. Her hostel is well situated near city centre. She helped me with all the requests. Even In a hostel the facilities were very clean and well managed. Alisa takes great care of her guests comfort. Would recommend her place to everyone.

What you see is what you get - and this place didn’t disappoint. It’s very well appointed and cozy in its design, particularly the high table which is great if you need to do some work. Place was sparking clean, bed was very comfortable, water pressure very good. All-in-all a good stay!

We had a wonderful time at Jenni’s house. It’s very easy to get to and in a convenient spot. The kitchen sink and storage is a large industrial piece you’d see in a restaurant which is great. The bathroom has a shower only and the entire floor will get wet as there is no water barrier on the floor but there is a shower curtain and floor squeegee. Jenni was very quick to respond to us and answer all our questions. We would highly recommend this place and stay here again.

Great little AirBnb, very clean and had everything you would need. Well situated near the river, easy to walk out and got straight on a lovely hike! Definitely would recommend it over staying in an over priced hotel! Five Stars!!!

Great location on the riverside, restaurants right next to Ounasvaara. Comfortable bed and modern decor. The house had poor sound insulation so the other apartments included speech, water tap, baby crying etc in the apartment. But this is often the case in a block of flats.

The apartment is very clean, close to the airport and Rovaniemi. The bedding is comfortable, and it is warm in the apartment, which is nice after going outside. Minimalist but sufficient equipment in the kitchen. I have not seen a hair dryer. It is requested not to make excessive noise after 10 p.m.

Spacious, clean studio away from the city center. Great views of the ski slopes from the huge windows.

The apartment is located perfectly if you want to have a calm atmosphere. Everything worked perfectly from the check-in to check-out!

We spent one night in this apartment for an early takeoff the next day from Rovaniemie airport. The location is ideal for this. Clean accommodation and as described.

Very nice house, the only flaw is the thing that does not heat the car, everything else is OK!

The landlord is super nice, and the apartment is also really nice. We arrived there early and Sandra came to help us check in as soon as he could, it’s really nice. And also it’s really close to the airport and the Santa Claus village , just around 15 min!! And there is a k market near the apartment .

Wonderful place

Lukas is a great host. He does everything for his guests. The flat is in a nice area and all the sights and the skiing tracks easy to reach. The apartment is nicly furnitured and has a cosy kitchen. Everything what you need it there.

Lukas' apartment is very comfortable, clean, spacious and really in an architectural gem of the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. You have a view of the countryside and it is really easy and uncomplicated to get into the apartment. Lukas takes great care of his guests and is always available. Even if the apartment is not in the center, it is still easy to reach on foot and by transport. I can only recommend this accommodation to everyone.

I can really recommend this apartment. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We could easily get to the city center by foot or by bus. In the flat there is a lot of space and you can find everything you need for daily use. All in all, we felt very comfortable.

Did you wake up? Sianglang is far from young. If you go in the car, just chew. It's like you're going to need to clean it up with 9 kinds of fats, including a bite.

Perfect place to stay in Rovaniemi! The apartment has everything you need and you can reach the city center, bus stops etc. by foot. There is also a perfect description about the location of the apartment, so it is really easy to find it and check in. If there are any questions, Joni is easily to contact. We had a wonderful time!

Amazing apartment feels like home stay , clean and good location

Great place to stay at! Very close to everything and quite big actually, more than enough for two people.

It was located in Rovaniemi downtown so it was very comfortable. It is the best location to travel without a rental car. Inside facilities are also carefully prepared and the northern lights can be seen from the terrace. I took a taxi from the airport (around 25 euros) and I can get off at the airport bus. Bus stops to Sinta Village are also nearby (the most accurate search on Google Maps) and amenities such as marts and cafes McDonald's are within 10 minutes. There's a cafe in the city called Café House, but the cinnamon rolls are spicy. Coffee is also delicious. Very comfortable beds for Airbnb There is a wide range of cooking utensils in the kitchen and a microwave for easy cooking. There is an Asian Mart in the city so take a look when you get tired of Finnish food. The washing machine is convenient to use. It's in English and you can see it intuitively just by looking at the picture. I was washing my hands at home because it was difficult to use the washing machine. I felt the need for a washing machine. I could see Aurora from the terrace. Although it looks weak due to the street lamps around, it's better if you're lucky. If you rented a car, I would have gone out to see aurora. There were hangers and shelves at the front door so it was comfortable to hang clothes and take off shoes as soon as you came back. It's a good idea to take off your shoes and bring slippers. The necessary information has been shared in advance so that you do not have to contact the host. The check-in was convenient with a keybox and the inside of the house was clean.

Good and clean room living just like the announcement and a quiet house. The washrooms and the kitchen also matter. At least good parking for the driver, parking in the yard, etc. The host is a nice type and takes good communication.

Perttu is a great host and the room is like the photos show. As recomendación, if you stay during weekends, rent a car since the public transportation may hace restricted times. :)

perttu is so friendly and smooth in communities. the warm and elgent house is much more better than the pictures and impressed a lot is the kitchen very cozy and almost have every things for cooking bakery that you can image! Try,don't hesitate

Elina is a very nice host, she gives instruction on checking was very clear. Her place is easy to access from the train station, only less 10 mins of walk. Her place is clean, cosy, quiet, I'm surprised that she even stored food for guests. (kittos! A K supermarket just right across the street, there's a convenient store downstairs and also a K market is just a few steps away from K Supermarket (yeah, there's 2 markets with the same name) you can easily get anything from there. Will stay with Elina again if I'm back to Rovaniemi next time :)

We had a very comfortable stay at Elnia’s place, a warm temporary home near the city center. Check in was super easy, responses were quick, and the place had everything we needed for 3 nights. The location was great, very close to the bus station and grocery stores. And the city center was within easy walking distance. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The apartment is an absolute gem for up to two people. Clean and nothing is missing. Even washing machine, ironing board and flowers on the table. I never had a full refrigerator anywhere. All around okay.

Very warm and cosy apartment. There is a supermarket less than 50 metres from the apartment and also amazing pizza restaurant a little further down the street. Elina's property is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Superb value for money!!!!!!!!

This apartment was the perfect place to stay in Rovaniemi! It was in the center, close to lots of shops, bars, and restaurants; it made our tour pick-ups very easy. The apartment is very stylish and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the private sauna! It is attached to the bathroom, and after a day of being out in the cold, it was so nice to come home to. Our host was always quick to respond and made everything very easy. I would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is part of a quiet building and is located in the center of Rovaniemi, 3-4 minutes walk from all main sightseeing in the city and 2 minutes walk from the river. It offers free parking. The apartment was very clean, it offers all necessary amenities (pots, cups, kitchenette) and it includes necessary electrical appliances (dishwasher, toaster, fridge, oven, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker). Everything was very clean. The apartment also offers private sauna. It has 1 bedroom with comfortable beds. It is perfect for 2 people. The communication with the host was easy, and she always responds fast. The checkin/out process is simple.

Great location and very stylish place. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very easy to get to Santa’s village and walk to the lake to see the aurora borealis. Communication with Marita was great throughout the reservation process and if we ever needed anything she was there to help. Would highly recommend!
