All great, very nice and comfortable house. The only bad thing was no WiFi and the signal is very bad. Very quiet area. We liked a lot!

A very nice house, nice decor, very complete kitchen. Downstairs open space (kitchen) that can be with other people. Spacious rooms with queen beds and comfortable mattresses. The outdoor area has a nice pool. very correct and accessible to solve any doubts that arose host.

Cozy and comfortable place to get away from it, have fun and relax. Carles, very attentive and friendly host, told us of nearby establishments if they need to buy food and medicine. There are several books and guides with activities and attractions in the area. They live on the top floor, but did not really feel anything, or remember. His dog, Max, obedient and friendly. 9.5 / 10; a shame that we could not enjoy the huge outdoor patio.

Carles is a great host: very friendly, helpful, and reactive to my messages and requests. He and his family came out on our arrival to greet us and see how they could do our stay more pleasant. The apartment was exactly as we expected according to the description and pictures. The heating was very good, so we were very warm during our stay and specially at night. The bathroom and shower was also in very good state. The apartment is located in a very quiet area of Riells i Viabrea, so no noise whatsoever. You can leave your car in the front door. As it's a dead-end street, it's super quiet and safe. The Montseny massif is a Natural Parc (and UNESCO biosphere reserve) at 15 Km distance. Excellent area for walking or practicing mountain sports like hiking, mountain bike, and more. Definitely we'd return to this place and recommend it to others.

We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts who have an extremely relaxed place with a unique setting in the heart of nature. Great communication, very friendly, exactly as described. We were in the area as we had family staying on the Costa Brava but this was much more our kind of thing and only 30 minutes drive away. Similarly you could easily spend several days here chilling out away from it all. Breakfast is simple but delicious and worth the small extra charge, with home-made jams the outstanding feature! Music room is a great bonus, the hosts are lovely with very respectful and fun kids. Superb place for a family break, shame we didn´t have longer.

It was one of the best stays ever! Peaceful and beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. The family was friendly and nice and helped us with everything, even if we weren't able to speak catalan or spanish. It was amazing!

La Casa dels Llacs is in a remote location "away from it all" is really ideal and perfect if you are looking for peace and disconnection. We were made very welcome, very nice people! Otherwise the setting of the house is spectacular: forests, mountains, animals, and tranquility. There are also castles and hiking trails in the area. The room is simple, but the bed was very comfortable. In short, if you need to disconnect, it's a good place!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Ortruds wonderful little paradise. We had troubles finding the place, and it was very late, but then Ortud got in her car, drove out in the middle of the night to meet up with us, and when we finally arrived she had cooked som food for us. Ortud is such a nice and warm person, and waking up in the morning with the sounds of the horses was so nice. We also fell a bit in love with her dog, and the little sweet cat. I can only recommend everyone to go and stay at this nice pearl with lots of charm and heartwarm atmosphere ❤️️

We had a really great time in this beautiful house, the situation is idyllic, with nature all around, a wonderful swimming pool, a view on the two horses and the mountain from the bed, and Ortrud and Assad are very friendly and helped us to feel comfortable. The village is not far, we went to the bakery every morning by walk. There is a very special atmosphere in this place, due to the mountains and the natural parc. Well where shall we begin. We arrived at Ortrud's beautiful mountain retreat ready to relax and experience a taste of rural Spanish life. Upon arriving to the nearby town of Gualba, we were greeted by Ortrud, who proceeded to guide us up the hill to her property. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous, situated at the top of a hill overlooking several nearby mountains the the towns below. At her home, we were warmly welcomed by her two horses, two dogs, and very friendly cat, all of whom made our experience that much better. The space itself was perfect for the two of us. It features a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom, all of which were clean and nicely decorated upon arrival. The "apartment" is connected to Ortrud's home, but with a private door and an unobstructed view of the mountains, it always felt like our own space. The location was the perfect spot for us to explore the region around the house as well. One day, we went on a long hike through the mountains to several waterfalls. On another, we visited nearby San Celoni, a larger town with some good restaurants. Ortrud was our guide for every step we took, telling us which trails were best for hiking and which eateries served the most authentic food. We couldn't have asked for better recommendations. This brings us to our favorite aspect of our stay--that is, the host herself. Ortrud is a wonderful woman, wise beyond her years with a sense of warmth that makes you feel like you're a member of her family. Empathizing with our recent travel experiences, she cooked us a series of much-needed meals and shared late night conversations about her own travel experiences. While at her place, we also had the opportunity to meet her godchild. But after a few days with her, it was us who felt like her godchildren. We wholeheartedly recommend you to stay with Ortrud on your next trip to Montseny.

We spent three wonderful, peaceful days at Ortrud's idyllic place. The house is at the end of a country road and you cannot hear or see anything but nature, yet the village of Gualba is only a few minutes away by car. Our two young kids loved the place, especially having three gorgeous horses just a few meters from our windows across the garden. The apartment was very comfortable. Ortrud is an exquisite, responsive, and friendly guest. She even invited our four years old daughter to help her feed the horses (needless to say see was extatic).

The place is beautiful. The nature the woods and the farm with all the different animals are lovely. We enjoyed the quietness at this place. Lorena and the other people who live at the house, are really friendly and we got picked up and driven back to the Station of Sant Celoni.

We arrived quite late but luckily Xavi was able to meet us at a local restaurant and guide us to the farm. Would advise you get directions or arrange to be guided. Lorena the person we communicated with, was away during our stay, but Xavi was on hand (he was lovely and v. helpful - even rescued our car when it got stuck). The farm was in a lovely setting and very close to the national park, so a good base for walks. We also loved the range of animals and especially the horses, which we got to feed (my son really enjoyed).

Lorena's farmhouse is very special. It is in a very beautiful location where you can go for plenty of walks. The house is great too. You get full use of the kitchen and the bed is very comfortable. You certainly need a car to access the place. We had bikes and the trip from Sant Celoni is quite long. Lorena was very kind and picked us up from a town nearby. We would throughly recommend the place!

We had a perfect stay in the house of Lorena. If you like nature, animals and relaxing in an old Masia , it 's the perfect place. Lorena is very kind and easy going. We had beautiful days around Campins. We hope we come back an other holiday.

Can Mon is a very special place and Lorena and Tomas are great hosts. We were very much in love with it and would love to come back. I absolutelly recomment it.

This perfect place was the pick of our one month trip in Spain. Lorena came to pick us up from Sant Celoni train station and took us to Can Mon- the antique house she lives in with her baby. The place is magical and peaceful and Lorena prepared a great room for us... we enjoyed the forest and it's peacefulness, and got a chance to come across the interesting community that live on this very unique mountain and live natural and earthy life. Charles is as nice and honnest person who rent's his great house and make it to great B&B. (need to fix some details but when you see the photo's your sold and love it to rent) Do not look at the unfinished details but to the whole picture ;-)) You realy live in the house with Charles and he let you use all his exspensive equipment and even let you use his computer iff you need it so his house is your house. Also free wifi and frigde and freezer capicity can be used togheter to cook in his great citchen. There ar 2 big supermarkets in the aria so home coocking makes livving there an upportunity to save some money. The central position of this house from the airport Girona, Circuit Catelunja, and Barcelona, the beach, are good to drive by car. The house needs some finished fixed things, but Carlos is working on that, Carlos needs money from renting to finish his dream, so rent this place and you wil not regret this good choiche off living in this great B&B. and meet Carles.

Hosting Carles is very cordial. It is both considerate, attentive and discreet. Her house is very nice and allows to radiate in all of Catalonia Casta Brava in Barcelona and Montserrat. It is within 5 minutes from the highway to Barcelona.

The house is beautiful, a luxury see it. 4 bedrooms with bathroom and terrace each. Perfect bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. Very equipped kitchen has to grill and grilled teriyaki embedded type and all kinds of cookware (two sweet we did there) (toaster, Senseo) were two hammocks and a huge tranquility. Carles is attentive and very friendly made us very pleasant stay, makes you very good recommendations.

Carles was beyond helpful and generous during our entire stay. It was a very quick trip and he really helped us get the most out of our day in Barcelona. We also had some transportation issues and he did not hesitate to help us. Staying here was a fantastic experience!

Dave was most hospitable. He rescued the lovely old farmhouse from abandonment - it's beautiful, although our room was a bit hot… it is August though, so to be expected. We had our own quarters and were made welcome to join Dave and his charming little boy (whose name I can't spell!) in the abundant kitchen. We loved hearing about the area and our host, part of airbnb's charm is meeting your hosts I always feel.

Dave was extremly frienfdly (our flight was delayed and we arrived at 03:00 am). He waited and showed us to our room. The house is beautiful. The location is very nicr in the middle of the forest. Dave also gave us good advice about nice sites in the area.

Cynthia's place is full of charm. This is the house from 12-13 century, made from stone, and so cozy and nice inside. Surroundings are incredible, house stands on the hill with amazing views. Its adjacent to Cynthia's house. We have been there with a 6-month old baby and he slept really well on a small sofa, while we barbecued meat downstairs in the kitchen on the open fire. this location might not be super comfortable for those who got used to 5-star hotels, however its relaxing atmosphere was perfect for us. There was hot water, shower, kitchen equipped with gas cooker. Cynthia is a great host and this place is decorated with taste. The only thing you should me mindful about is that due to the age of the house, walls and ceilings are not noise-proof, so you could hear sounds in the house, however this didn't bother us at all! Thank you Cynthia and your family!

My husband and I rented the masia for a week in December. We never met Cynthia as she was away and instead interacted with Greta who was a very responsive stand-in host. This is an old stone house and such is its charm. We enjoyed every aspect of this old house, especially the open fire-place in the kitchen which we used every day for heating and to BBQ our delicious meals. The house is located on a hill right over the main road which means that it is easily accessible. At the same time, you can hear traffic when the windows are open. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises as the house faces south-east. In addition, the house is in a central location - 1 hour drive away from Barcelona and Girona making it quite easy to see a lot of places in a short amount of time for those who want to sight-see. We would recommend this place for anybody who is looking for a rustic, "back-to-basics" vacation.

I had a wonderful two days staying with Edgar, Maite and their charming daughters in this spacious, comfortable, and calm farmhouse. It's located among mountains and dense forests, and there are lots of easily accessible tracks so you can explore: I was totally absorbed by the sonic landscape - the birdsong, wild boars, and ghost-like dog cries that echoed through the valleys. Amazing to escape the city and hear these sounds. The house itself was a perfect place to write for two days (I had a long project to complete) - the family were incredibly kind and attentive, and made me feel welcome to join them for meals, but without imposing, and I never felt that I was an intrusive presence in their lives, either. There is loads of space. Also, the room was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, etc. So: thankyou very much! I will definitely come again! Fue una experiencia increible: una familia muy maja y considerada que viven en una granja enorme con mucho espacio, rodeada de bosques y montanas. Paz, sonidos naturales (cerdos y otros animales) y buenas vistas. La habitacion estaba muy comoda y limpia. Maite and Edgar welcomed us with great kindness and delicacy, with a refresh. They opened their home by telling us "you are at home", what we have felt through much confidence they have shown. The house is clean and spacious, very nice for holidays. Our children (21, 19 and 15) have enjoyed and felt very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding environment, very conducive to drawing, painting and reading, what we are not private. It's a bit far from the sights but for walks in the park, is exceptionally well placed. Our guests have had to leave, we regret not being able to discover the culinary talents of Edgar and try the clothing creations Maite. If one day we have the opportunity to return we hope to share a longer time with them and their girls are charming. A house and a family therefore recommend !!

Hello, Last weekend we were in Ca L'Oms. The place and stay have been nice but we found two problems that could be solved or at least warn beforehand. It indicates that the house has a pool. By filling the pool, two feet, the house was left without water, the water supply system is deposit. The first day we could not take a shower or use the water normally. This we passed again the third day. It was a little uncomfortable. The other problem was the large number of flies in the house. Abit. These two things made the stay was not as pleasant as we thought, otherwise very good.

The farmhouse is located in an excellent place to spend a family holiday, whether summer or winter. We have spent the Christmas holidays, a group of 16 and we never felt overwhelmed by little space. The fireplace is excellent and the open dining, kitchen and living space offered us the opportunity to spend the moments all together while we cooked, the children played and others lounged by the fireplace. A pleasure to walk around and feel in the countryside just an hour from Barcelona. The barbecue was also a taste of power use. Overall it was an excellent stay.

Absolutely lovely place to stay,beautiful and peaceful in gorgeous location and Xavi is a really great host. We were two families with three teenagers and the house is well set up with a pool, table tennis, football pitch, games and ( great wifi!) Generous amounts of fresh veg every day from his organic garden and eggs from his free range chickens was a great bonus. We took the train to Barcelona and had two great trips to Vic ( gorgeous medieval town in Montseny national park) and Girona. Breda fine for a walk out and for all your necessary shopping although a little quiet in the evening. This felt like a real stay in someone's home, it was a pleasure and a privilege to be there. Xavi is absolutely the best host! He made us feel right at home and could be reached easily! His villa, the grounds and the pool where superb. Mountain views around and close to center of town. This friendly easy town has it all except for english speaking tourists, yes! our 5 girls enjoyed their stay very much and topped it off by shopping in Gerona and Barcelona and dancing in Lloret.

an excellent accommodation. we were a family of 6 - 2 children (5&4), 2 parents and 2 grandparents who stayed for a week in late August. The house and Gardens are superb with plenty space for the children to explore and a beautiful pool to relax and play in. We all loved the animals and the hens and quail eggs, an extra treat was receiving vegetables from the garden which were delicious. the town is small and traditional we didn't eat out much but did enjoy the German burger bar. I couldn't fault the accommodation and Xavi ensured we were looked after on a late arrival by providing a large amount of food and drink to help until we got to the local shop. We always look to go to new places but this villa could tempt us back although we may try to learn some spanish and not be useless Brits.

About Gloria... she did everything for us to feel good, we had every day from her excellent chocolate biscuits and she recommended lovely places to visit and very good restaurants in the area. Very nice terrace in the back yard, we enjoyed it in every evening. Our stay in Gloria's house was an experience to remember long time from now. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody!
