Casa Romero is wide and Colonial air is breathed in their rooms, the guest can feel relaxed, quite comfortable, also it provides a family atmosphere that will make you feel at home.
Among passageways and courtyards environments in stone, adobe and wood so they rise that, watching from afar, Casa Romero gives us the illusion of a Village House: while already close, we found a warm home with all amenities and services.
The ability to escape the routine of the city
Staying in Lampa at Casa Romero was quite an experience! The town is small and charming and you definitely see what it's really like for Peruvians living in small villages far from the city. There are several points of interest to explore in the town, and everything is walking distance. The accommodations weren't fancy. They were fairly rustic, and the home is certainly historic. We were comfortable there, but it's important to note that this listing is for adventurers. We flew into Juliaca and could only find one taxi willing to take us to Lampa, which was for more than Miguel had told us to expect. He wouldn't negotiate and it was late, so we had to accept. When we arrived, we were grateful for the driver because we never would have found it and he banged on the door until they let us in. Miguel was not there during our stay. Vladimir helped us get settled in and there was a woman who came later to show us around the kitchen and how to get hot water. They were very kind and helpful, but we did have a language barrier that caused a small misunderstanding about payment, which of course, was completed through airbnb. Overall, this was a fun experience, and the people at the house were as helpful as can be, but I never met Miguel and needed a little more explanation of the property and how to get there, who to contact to be let in, etc...
