Beautiful location, cozy little home. We loved lounging on the couch with the windows open listening to the water and watching the hillside where the church is located. Stunning views worth it all!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! The location is amazing - the best part was being able to open the windows and look out into the bay. Stefano met us at the apartment to help get us checked in, which made things very clear and easy. The apartment is about a 3-5 minute walk from the two public car parks, as well as incredibly close to all the bars and restaurants in Portofino. We appreciated that there was a washing machine available!

If you are looking for a place that will leave you speechless, look no further. The value compared to others in the area is unmatched. I don’t believe any hotel in Portofino could match the location in terms of beauty and convenience to the local restaurants and attractions. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and stayed for two nights. This was the most memorable experience we’ve had in hotel anywhere we’ve both been in the world. Do yourself a favor, stop thinking about it and book it, you will not regret!

I stayed here with my wife and we love it. Definitely Unique little space with great location looking over the marina and shop/restaurants. You feel like you are on a boat. Close to little cove swimming area that we found about 500 meters away. At night we Really enjoyed spending an evening looking over the marina. Thanks for hosting! Chow

What a spectacular location! Right on the waterfront, close to all the cafes but also wonderfully quiet. I would recommend it to anyone who visits Portofino.

The PERFECT way to experience Portofino! The location of the apartment on the bay was amazing, with the views from our window and the sound of the water lapping below! We were greeted by our host who walked us trough the apartment and answered all of our questions. Portofino was the highlight our trip and staying at Hintown's Place made it even better!! We highly recommend this idyllic location!!!

We loved Portofino! Amazing, touristy during the day but most people leave in the evening. This apartment is very simple but the area is perfect. People watching from the balcony, open the windows and the breeze flows through. I am a fan of fresh air. Very easy receiving the key and finding the apartment. Dorm like set up but we don’t mind. Stairs to the second floor are straight up. Just made us realize we need more exercise. Pretty much all of Italy makes us aware of that . We love it here.

What a wonderful place to visit and this is a super apartment in the middle of everything and with a million dollar view!

The apartment and Antonio’s hospitality was amazing. I highly recommend this apartment in the heart of Portofino. The location, the view and ambience is perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean and kitted out with all you will need. We had a 2 day stay but wished we could have stayed another 2 days. Some must dos: Eat at Puny (best pasta ever), lunch at O Magazin and have a dark chocolate ice cream from the little ice cream shop next door to O Magazin. A evening drink at the Splendido is also a must together with a view and service that is hard to beat.The town is charming and being late September meant less crowds which is a bonus. Thank you to everyone!

Perfect location and delightful apartment to enjoy Portofino! This spot was a great fit for our 3 night stay, affording incredible natural light, gorgeous views, and stylish and comfortable accommodations. We particularly enjoyed O’Magazin restaurant downstairs (for local flavors), and the walk to Castello Brown (for local vistas), and watching the boats come in and out of the harbor. Antonio was quick to reply with any questions we had, and check in was easy. Although parking and getting bags to the apartment is a little tricky (be prepared for cobblestones and steps), it is worth it was a fantastic base and we’d do it again.

What a perfect place to explore Portofino and the whole region from. Location is spot on (unless you’re not ok climbing 50/60 steps as apartment is a top floor attic w cracking views!). You walk out right into the main square and iconic harbour, surrounded by restaurants, gelateria and bars. Also the greeting, hosting and little touches are all v thoughtful and welcoming. Big reccomendation 👌🏼 p.s. definitely try Gemale (on waterfront for lunch), Tripoli (next door to apartment for dinner) and the Pizzeria up the road (full of locals lunch and dinner!)

Location and spectacular home

The host did a wonderful job staying in touch and communicating with us. As soon as we arrived in Portofino, Corrado met us in the square and showed us to our room. Check-in was as seamless as it could possibly be. Not only did the host do a great job of making us feel welcome, but he even gave us tips on where to eat and ideas on what to do with our free time. The view was BETTER than described. The apartment was in the PERFECT location right in the center of the main square. And the Icing on the cake was the STRONG water pressure in the shower.

The perfect location for Portofino. Within steps of leaving your place you are on the main plaza, complete with shops and many restaurants. The view from the window is one of the best in the world! The weather was quite warm and with no air conditioning we used the provided fan to cool the bedroom. Also no Wi-Fi, but it clearly states that. Stay here, you will love it like we did.

What a fantastic place! Located on the grounds of a very large, prominent Portofino villa, this is what they call the guest house. The walk up the long, picturesque drive sets the scene. Stunning views, and beautiful greenery surrounds the house. Once inside, it is very quaint. More like a small cottage with simple but comfortable amenities. Not a large space, and in bad or cold weather it wouldn’t be ideal. We really lived outside. The bedrooms are all very simple, with not much floor space. The bathrooms are small as well and the showers are tiny. But we looked at the whole experience somewhat like staying in a cabin or cottage. It’s the charm and location that wins.

The view from this property is even better in person. We loved every minute of our stay. It’s so easy to walk into town and the host was so helpful with our check-in and check-out process. Can’t wait to visit again!

The property is in the most amazing location in Portofino - truly spectacular. Portofino itself doesn't warrant a 4 day trip, the food is overpriced and not up to the usual Italian expectations. The boat excursion to San Fruttuosa was amazing

Laura’s apartment is located 10 seconds from the Portofino Bay. It was so nice to be so close to the Bay, without having to walk up any hills or a long way. When sleeping, the bedroom is incredibly quiet! The apartment is very clean! The amenities such as air conditioning and WiFi were enjoyable. As a solo traveler, the space was more than enough. If I returned, I’d guess it would easily accommodate two people, if not three. The bathroom was nice, with ample towels and a comfortable shower. Also, having a mini fridge was nice to be able to store waters. While the view is not very interesting, if you are looking for a comfortable and accessible place to stay in Portofino, look no further!

Laura’s spot is situated perfectly near all the action in Portofino. It was an ideal spot. Windows open up to a nice little courtyard area with some restaurants. The room was sparkling clean and ready for us when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again!

The view from every room is spectacular! So much space, brilliant location on the square and so clean. Beautiful linen too. Will always be one of our favourite stays!

Apartment photos don't (can't) do the view justice ... the apartment's main windows face directly over the harbour and square ... the front door is nestled right between two waterfront restaurants, you can't be any more 'in" Portofino, but you're high enough that it isn't noisy. Very good air conditioning throughout, and well equipped kitchen. Water taxis are on your doorstep, paid covered parking a 2 minute walk.

The apartment is fantastic. Very large, clean, and modern. Each bedroom is a suite with its own bathroom, and doors close the suites to the entry way for added privacy and noise reduction. The beds and pillows are some of the best we've ever slept on; amazingly comfortable. There are windows on three sides of the apartment, offering stunning views of the harbor, village square, picturesque colored houses along the marina, and more. The A/C worked great in the bedrooms and main living area. Showers should be staggered as the hot water tank is small. Elana provided lots of assistance before our arrival, answering many questions, getting us in touch with local providers, setting up dinner reservations, and arranging our car service to and from the train. All went smoothly. Her son even helped us with our luggage up the stairs, which was greatly appreciated. When the brand new washer encountered a minor issue, Elana’s assistant Elisa washed two loads of laundry for us elsewhere bringing them back neatly folded with a drying rack and clothespins. We greatly appreciated this solution and Elisa’s help and the washer was back in order for the next guests. As the listing indicates, you should be fit to climb the 4 flights of steep stairs to the apartment. Also, garbage/recycling must be sorted and taken about a 5 minute walk past the parking area to the community disposal area. There is a small market that provides the basics for meals, bathroom items, etc. A stop for the #82 bus is a short walk (near the church) and takes about 20 minutes to get to Santa Margherita Ligure and the train station. The schedule is listed on the stops, though we found the schedule near the train station to be off by about 45 minutes. We had several good meals here and thoroughly enjoyed the steep walk up to Castello Brown, which is lovely and has amazing views. A secluded and tiny rocky beach (Baia Cannone) is a short walk on the road and was refreshing during the heat wave. A day trip to Cinque Terre via train was fairly straightforward. We could have easily stayed a couple more days, but thoroughly enjoyed the time we had there.

Everything was just as described but even better. Can not beat the location! Unbelievable views. Apartment is huge and well stocked with everything you need. Elana was wonderful. Check in and out was a breeze and she had great tips for us about the area and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in this nice large bright panoramic apartment. We are very pleased that we chose her. The only difficulty for those who are aged or with a small child is that the apartment is on the fourth floor. Porters helped us carry our luggage and it is very convenient. The apartment has two rooms; two toilets; balcony; many wardrobes. The kitchen has everything you need. We were met by a wonderful girl; she showed us everything. We were met with a prosecco; water; cola; milk it was very nice. From all windows of the apartment there are beautiful views of the whole bay. Good linens and towels; air conditioner works well. We will definitely come back again and send all our friends there. Thank you very much for the quick answers and for the help provided.

Elana’s property in Portofino exceeded all our expectations and considering they were pretty high already, that is saying something. Elana and her assistant, Elisa, were great hosts and arranged transportation from and to the train station in Santa Margherita which made things very easy for weary travelers. They also provided great information about what to see and do in the Portofino area including making reservations at various restaurants. I really can’t say enough about the level of service provided and the apartment is beyond amazing with its views over-looking the Portofino marina. You will not be disappointed you booked this property.

Absolutely astonishing view and location! The flat is stylish, clean and cozy. It also has a cute little private backyard, which is basically impossible to find in Portofino. This place is by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in so far and we will definitely come back!

The apartment that we selected with Hintown in Portofino was amazing with stunning views made us enjoy our trip to Portofino so much more by being right in the heart of the piazza. Alice our Hintown presenter/guide had a wealth of knowledge for us to enjoy Portofino that we would of never known about! Clara’s house is lovely and in a great location! From coffee in the morning looking at the beautiful view to coming back after very hot days to a well functioning shower and nice atmosphere from the AC, it was a great stay. The space is well planned, with clothing storage in both bedrooms, shelf space in the bathroom, a great kitchen space, and lovely living area with comfy loveseat and chair. Very clean physically and with ‘clean’ decorations-quite pretty but no clutter, really well done! In the living area, you really can experience and enjoy the activity of the plaza, but the bedrooms are quiet for a restful night, so you get the best of both worlds. We did not use the terrace, but it looks really nice. Recommend this home! Tips- the somewhat steep stairs-only one flight-could be difficult for someone with physical limitations. If you are traveling from home by car, bringing along a small fan could be helpful in the smaller bedroom for someone who likes flow of air and a little white noise, as the AC/fan units are in the living room and bigger bedroom.

This small apartment to perfect for 2 people. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen was totally up to date. I loved that we had a washer and dryer so I could do laundry before getting on our cruise. All restaurants were in walking distance. Make sure you make reservations (a mistake we made). Bakery was only steps away so we had delicious baked goods every morning.

The apartment and location is perfect. The window view is like having a painting of Portofino on your wall. The apartment is decorated with such attention to detail and a very high standard. So many extras have been added to make your stay wonderful such as slippers and bath robes. Portofino is a stunning location with so many beautiful costal walks. Highly recommend walking to the castle as the views are spectacular. Lovely food and the people are so friendly. Restaurants drinks can look expensive but look around as many have carafes of table wine that are excellent and reasonable. We stayed for 5 nights and that was perfect. Marco in the restaurant Tripoli below the apartment was so friendly and helpful giving advise about where to go. His restaurant was our favourite.

As other reviews mentioned, the house is awesome. Very modern, air conditioner and the view from the window. We stayed 2 nights,wish you had additional time. I stayed with my wife and sister and the second room was perfect for her. Did not get much of a time to sit on the terrace, but that would had been fun. Veronica was prompt to respond to questions prior to arrival and made the check in check out process simple. Very easy and relaxed. I would recommend staying here to-others.

In this unique place, prices fly. This is the game. The apartment is ideally located with a real view of the harbor. The rooms are small, but sufficient for a short stay. Nothing is missing but the decor and furniture are cheap. But for the place we forget a little things.

Everything about the apartment is fine, but the location is everything! The AC worked really well and is a good space for 2 people.

The apartment was bright, beautiful, and extremely clean. You can't beat the location looking out onto the boats and with all of the fun restaurant patios below. Bianca was very friendly and responsive and gave great instructions when I asked about parking and access.

A perfect apartment in the perfect location in Portofino! We had easy access upon arrival, and found the apartment to be even better than we’d imagined. It’s just steps away from everything you need in the small port, including the best restaurants. You can’t go wrong here for a couple on a romantic getaway, or a family of four on a summer vacation. Accommodation with everything you need to spend excellent moments of relaxation, immersed in a very beautiful environment, which from the terrace offers a splendid view of the sea in particular way in the morning, when the sun rises and its rays illuminate the living room, we found ourselves well and with Marco the communication was excellent

The view was absolutely spectacular! The amenities were great including the pool and free shuttle to town, considering the apartment is a bit secluded. Marco was very quick to respond and directions were very clear.

This place is out of this world!!! It was totally incredible. Every touch had been considered carefully and exceptionally. On the description it states “like being on a boat, and indeed it did feel like this with the water so near” it was totally magical!!. It is a family home and you can feel that, with personal touches throughout. I would love to return sometime. Carlos the host was more than helpful, even when our journey to arrive taking longer than we expected. Stella a lovely lady was there to help for a late check in and was incredibly helpful and informative of the area. I would highly recommend this to friends and family and anyone who reads this review. Thank you again

This apartment in Santa Margherita is beautiful. The views are memorable and the garden exquisite. Walking the path to the village made every outing a fun experience. The small town feel of Santa Margherita is a breath of fresh air after being in Cinque Terre.

The place is totally amazing, on the hill overlooking the sea and mountains. The apartment is part of a smaller complex of two buildings with a beautiful garden over different levels. You find lemon and orange trees amongst others, plus a pool. We found a nice spot to do yoga and meditation there in the mornings. For people that cannot walk too much, there is a small elevator to the first level, then you still need to walk up a little. The bedroom has a huge window from which you can overlook the bay. Stunning! You find all amenities that you need and the decoration is thoughtful and beautiful. Private parking can we found on site. You can walk down on the back site to the village in 7 min and up will take you a bit longer and is steep but depending on your fitness level totally manageable. The host Vania responded super quick and help us so kindly on everything! You get a "Bella Italia" feeling directly and don’t want to ever leave this place again.

It was a wonderful home in the very center of portofino- nothing could be more centric, you don't even need a car! very beautiful and clean and charming, the host was on time, very communicative and sweet, we had the best time and would recommend it to anyone! :)

The apartment is perfectly situated right in the heart of Portofino. For the three of us it was the right size with two sperate bedrooms. With a typical Italian café next door and numerous restaurants only a few steps away, there is no need for self-catering. Simone and Nic were outstaning. They had great tips in the area and also organized a motorboat for a day. This allowed us to explore the Riveria to the south and to the north of Portofino. Whenever we found a nice spot, the anchor was dropped and we went for a swim. Simone and Nic always responded promptly and were first class hosts.

It's a beautiful apartment right in the middle of Portofino. It was actually bigger than we expected and it was fun waking up in such a pretty port town.

We were pleasantly surprised with the amazing location. Right in the heart of Portofino. The Apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Simon was quick to answer our questions and also made hard to get dinner reservations for us. There are lots of stairs which didn’t bother us. Also, You are right in the swing of things so quite noisy at night. Again, no a problem for us. When we come back to Portofino, this is where we want to stay.

This is a great unit with amazing views. Sits just above a local restaurant and allows you to immerse yourself in with the locals,. Much, much better than the local hotels at much higher prices and much more space. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again in a minute. The space is very efficient and well appointed. The sound of the water lapping up against the shore as you go to sleep and when you wake up is fantastic. Right in the heart of it all and great people watching.

Bianca's place was terrific and made extra special given its location in town which made us feel like locals. It's a beautiful apartment, super clean and modern, very comfortable and with an amazing view! We loved being there!

Perfect moment in portofino

Giovanna has done an exquisite job designing and decorating her apartment. It is right on the harbor in the most perfect location. I just can't think of a better setup for 1 or 2 people to be able to stay right in the midst of things in Portofino without paying an exorbitant price.

Giovanna is a wonderful host. The apartment has the MOST stunning view that the size of the tiny kitchen and bathroom pale into insignificance. We were thrilled and chilled from the moment we arrived- this is a real jewel on the harbour front of Portofino. No where else on this coast line can compare to being here. What a beautiful apartment! The location is really superb, right on the harbour front, through a door inbetween 2 shops & up a flight of steps. The apartment itself is light & airy with high ceilings and the most beautiful view through the large open window. It really is something special to sit in the window seat with a chilled bottle of champagne, watching the yachts sail past. (There is a supermarket buried in one of the side streets, quite reasonable in comparison to everywhere else!) I had read a review that said the apartment was too small for a week ... I could stay there for a month! It has been cleverly designed to make the most of the space. The bed was very comfortable, with spare pillows & blankets in the cupboard & I like the fact that there is a large empty wardrobe so you can unpack, as I hate living out of a suitcase. I had also read a lot of reviews about the hot water running out, this concerned me as I have long hair & take ages in the shower! It was not a problem at all, even when washing my hair 3 times to get the sea water out of it! I can only assume they had run the shower & then wandered off to make a cup of tea or something (why would you?) Just turn it on & jump straight in & you can both shower with no problem. Also there were quite a lot of toiletries available, we had our own, but it would be useful for someone travelling light. We ate at the local restaurants in the evening, Ristorante Delfino was my favourite, the food was delicious & the staff were kind, attentive and funny. We didn’t eat breakfast out as we walked up to the little bakery (there’s only 1 in Portofino) & got pastries to eat at the window of the apartment. As a host Giovanna was kind & courteous. She met us at Santa Margherita train station & put us on the bus to Portofino & responded immediately to any questions I had. We had a really lovely stay & I would recommend this apartment to anyone. It’s really nice staying in Portofino as the hoards of tourists leave in the evening & don’t come back until midday so you have breakfast & dinner in a much quieter, nicer Portofino than you would if you stayed outside. We will come back, hopefully for longer next time! Thank you for a lovely stay!

My wife and I had our honeymoon in Italy and of all the fantastic places we went, this one was the highlight. The apartment was beautiful, super clean, and right in the heart of Portofino! Giovanna was excellent, very responsive, and had lots of local suggestions available. We actually extended our stay an extra night because we were having such a good time! Stay here. You won't be disappointed.

A refined and hospitable residence, worthy of the fascinating place

Giovanni was so easy to work with, all my questions were answered very quickly. This house was very spacious for our large group. One thing to keep in mind which is already mentioned in the write up are the stairs, lots of them! The view from the upstairs terrace is beautiful! We were just steps away from Portofino and all the shops and restaurants.

This is a fantastic home in a great location with lovely views of Portofino. The hosts made everything easy and comfortable. They even arranged a private cooking lesson at the villa, which was amazing. Highly recommend!

The Villa was perfect for our family, eight adults,four children ages three to eighty! Plenty of space for everyone to have fun.This was particularly important, we were there for the storm of the century! Electricity went off and on, gas was turned off for the whole town,we had to hike to St Margarita for supplies and were eventually evacuated by boat! But still,we loved being there, a really warm and friendly atmosphere envelopes the house. Giovanni could not have been more concerned,in fact has offered us the opportunity to stay in Turin to make up for our forshortened holiday.

This is the most wonderful place to stay in Portofino for a group of friends or family. It is confortable and friendly - feels like your own house and the views are to die for.Lots of lovely walks from the front door. No need to go out for dinner - a fabulous kitchen, so we cooked at home every night. And for the big birthday celebtration we used G&M's cook, who did a brilliantly efficient job. The house is just the tiniest bit in need of some maintenance (the occasional light not working etc) but that just makes it feel even more like you own house! We have a ball with a bunch of friends (couples and singles) from all over.

We were very happy with the apartment and will definitely come back. The location and connection in the village is great, you can explore the whole area by bus or ferry. The car is safe, covered in the courtyard with a gate closed. There are all the leisure activities in the village such as diving, kayaking, snorkeling and much more ..... it will not be boring! In the village and the nearest beach is only 10 minutes. The view and the beautiful outdoor area complete the package. Really great :)

Awesome location in the green hills of Santa Margherita. An elegant, quiet hide-away with great views, yet in easy walking distance to the romantic village center with cafes, shops or boats to take you around the coast.

This is the most amazing place. We spent a week here and couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our honeymoon. The views are fantastic and the town is sweet and wonderful. Everything was perfect. It was insanely clean and Grace and Vania were so thoughtful when we got there, there were flowers and wine waiting for us. It was just the most perfect place for two people. The property is so well maintained and everything is just easy. One day we walked to Portofino on the path behind the house, such a wonderful day trip. It was so easy to take a boat back. Another day we drove to Cinque Terra, it was so perfect. Everything was so great, this is without a doubt the best place we've ever stayed. So charming and beautiful.

Lovely villa with panoramic sea views from every window and several terrace seating areas. The villa had everything we needed for our stay. We were very comfortable. We did not have any trouble navigating the steep climb on the footpath from town but some guests may find it a bit strenuous. (We figured that it just gave us a good excuse to eat more!) That said, it was easy to call for a taxi. Vania responded to all of our questions promptly and Grace was there to greet us when we arrived. I'm home now, dreaming of those views.

The studio on the top floor is quirky and feels like a home - which I always look for! It has all you need for a few days visit and is a great base for a couple to explore the nearby beaches, not to mention the local shops and restaurants by the harbour.

Clara’s place is my new happy place. It was perfect! Mountains behind, a Birdseye view of the sea. The balcony was perfect for relaxing morning caffe and easy dinners. There’s a perfect little grocery store just downstairs and the walk to the harbour, amazing restaurants and the city centre is seconds away. It felt like home. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up every morning. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all the beauty Rapallo has to offer. Thank you Clara and family❣️

It goes without saying that the view is fantastic. Other than that, we also had a private parking spot right down the building. The place is super clean and beautiful. Check in and check out was arranged ahead of time and very convenient for us. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to have a memorable stay in Santa Margherita.

What a lovely spot — away from the busy-ness of city center, but the town is easily accessible. We loved having a garage and an outdoor patio and an incredible view of the bay. The space itself was spacious and comfortable. We look forward to returning.

The rental was clean and beautiful. The master bedroom looked great, and the convertible couch that I slept on was more comfortable than most beds. I would gladly stay here again.

We found Angela and Elena’s apartment to be exceptional. It is literally three doors from the main harbour piazza. It was immaculately clean with a beautiful and clever layout with all ammenities available. Elena met us there personally and settled us in. We have no hesitation in recommending their place as a base to explore this enchanting fishing village.

A very convenient location near everything you want to go and do. However, if you like to sleep before midnight, the nearby restaurant was very loud even past midnight.

Elena's apartment is simply amazing! Everything is well thought and just perfect! And it is very conveniently located a few steps away from the main piazza. We did not meet Elena but communication was reactive and smooth. As you cannot park the car next to the apartment, bringing the luggage is a little bit of exercise but it is definitely worth it! We strongly recommend Elena's apartment!

Incredible location and hospitality!

We can not recommend Elena and Angela’s apartment more highly. Well above expectations. Absolutely sparkling clean and extra special touches. Quality bathroom supplies, everything worked perfectly- dishwasher, heater, washing machine. No need to bother our hosts but we are confident they would have been there to assist at any time if needed. All our questions and requests were dealt with in the lead up to our stay instantly. Exceptional location - glorious town.

My wife and I have had one of the most enjoyable 3 days of our entire 40 years together, and much of it had to do with this incredibly lovely place. Their attention to detail makes their place so very special, and we felt honored to have had the chance to stay there!! If we ever are blessed enough to return to Portofino, we would be overjoyed to stay there again! Thanks incredibly to Angela & Elena for the opportunity to share their space this time.

Gorgeous view, perfect home for two.

It was great - we had 5 days of winter sun and really enjoyed the apartment and the balcony.

Absolutely incredible! Beautiful view of the ocean and coast, perfectly located away from Chiavari to have a peaceful, private experience. We were inspired to write, draw, read and escape into our art world in this studio apartment. The space is simple and very charming, perfectly equipped with all you need. We found a trail that takes you to Chiavari, only about 30 minutes walking to find a grocery store, fresh pasta shop, local butchery, etc. Giancarlo and his friend Enzo are extremely hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend this magical place.

Oh, this view! I couldn’t get enough of it, I was literally watching the sea, the sky and hills for hours. Even with the rough November weather it was surely more changing and dramatic as in summer. Loved it! The flat had everything I needed, it was clean and cosy. Thanks to the heating and extra blanket, it was perfect also for a cold autumn day. Of course, you get your exercise walking up to the bus station (health app says it’s like going 25 floors up)... only more reasons to enjoy eating ice-cream every day ;)

Giancarlo has a wonderful little flat with an exceptional view over the sea an the coastline. There are a couple of other flats but it was very quiet. The apartment is clean an newly renovated from the inside and you will find almost everything you need as well as basic kitchen equipment. The last meters if the driveway from the main road are a little adventurous, but if you don't feel like it there is a free parking space a little further up the mountain along the main road. The contact with Giancarlo and his friend Enzo was very quick and friendly. We would be happy to come again!

Everything was ok, I recommend staying at Giancarlo to everyone who wants to relax. One problem we encountered was the elevator because it got stuck in the middle floor, fortunately we went downstairs again and got off without problems. The internet is slow but can be used.

A beautiful studio with an exceptional view of Portofino and Santa Margherita, the funicular (impressive) allows access to the sea. Very quiet out of season, we only hear the birds and the sound of the sea ... rise to Parking is a little sporty! Giancarlo's instructions are perfect for finding the apartment. The welcome of Enzo is very friendly, and considerate. We were able to understand each other in a mixture of English, French, Italian ..... The city of Chiavari 3 km offers all the amenities: station, free parking 5 minutes, and excellent ice cream. Two pizzerias face each other next to the free parking and offer a very good value for money. A good address and a very beautiful Ligurian coast.
