Stayed here twice now - it’s a good place to relax and unwind.

Traceys place was everything we wanted and more. Was perfect for a romantic weekend away. Although the weather wasn’t the best we still enjoyed the hot tub and the local area. Bicester village was lovely for a afternoon out. We also went for dinner at the nut tree inn which Tracey recommended and it was lovely! Would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants a little break away with a partner and will definitely be coming back myself. Tracey also went out of her way to help with extra touches which were greatly appreciated.

An amazing lodge! When we arrived the lodge looked just as pictured and even better inside! Clean and warm, with all extra things such as milk, coffee, biscuits etc which makes it feel homely! The hot tub was on and perfect! The lodge itself is very well thought out, wish we could of stayed longer! We will definitely be back!!

A beautifully secluded, yet high spec lodge. The hot tub is an absolute must. Really lovely little touches with the robes and slippers. The kitchen is well equipped and the oven is great. We had such a fantastic time, just wish we could have stayed longer!!

This “hut” is far better appointed than most shepherds would ever dream of. Space is necessarily limited, but we found it very comfortable, especially in conjunction with the open walled sitting “room” just behind. It is an extremely tranquil location, and the hut is well removed from the owners’ house. It is set within a beautiful wild flower garden, looking directly over a field fringed with woodland. The owners are very hospitable, striking just the right balance between being friendly and leaving guests to their own devices. The homemade breakfasts are exceptional. The shower and the electric heater (we didn’t try the wood burning stove in May) are both good; the bed is very comfortable and there is good quality linen. Be aware that the curtains are rather thin, though the owners helpfully provide eye masks.

Sue was awesome! Id recommend her place and this village to anyone. Great breakfast. Amazing location. Her garden is gorgeous.

The hut and views far exceeded our expectations. The hut is a serene and beautifully compact space - and the log burner in action was amazing. (I'd recommend you don't put too much wood in.) The hospitality was fantastic - Sue and Bob were incredibly welcoming while allowing us to completely enjoy this little slice of heaven as if it were own. My daughter, (aged 6) was blown away by the wildlife - none more so than the live footage of the blue tit chicks being fed by their busy parents.

We had an idyllic weekend relaxing in the Shepherds hut. As soon as we arrived we fell in love with the beautiful surroundings and cosy Shepherds hut, which was equipped with everything that we needed. Breakfast was delicious, especially whilst watching the deer skip through the fields opposite. A completly faultless accommodation. Thank you for having us Sue.

The Shepard’s hut is quaint but modern. Dreamy but practical (fantastic shower!) Extremely warm (I visited in March) and it is the extra special touches that Endear you to this property. I was a solo traveller and felt extremely safe. Sit in bed and watch nature at its best! There is also a log burner that I didn’t need to use. I’m sure this is wonderful when up and running! I will definitely visit again.....

This is a great way to experience living on a narrow boat and just a different way of visiting Oxford. Even in February it was warm and cosy, with everything you could need, and very centrally located. Alan was super helpful, and on hand if needed. We had a great couple of days, and would do it again.

The houseboat is great and the location is ideal, both in a bucolic setting and close to the city center. But a barge is at the same time a bit of an adventure! If you like the caravan atmosphere you will love it!

Great accommodation, literally 5 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the old city center for exploring Oxford. Located on a romantic canal bordered by weeping willows, very calm and mysterious and yet close to everything. An experience to do! The host, Alan came to welcome us at the station with a bottle of milk and provided us with lots of equipment and accessories in case we didn't plan, it's really nice.

Simply a stunning place to stay, perfect for 16 people. Close to Blenheim Palace for walks and exploring Woodstock. Thoroughly recommend popping into Charlbury for Sunday lunch at the Bull Inn too. The pixie hut is exceptional and was a phenomenal surprise birthday bbq dinner for my guests. Truly couldn’t have been a more special weekend. Heidi is also a delight and couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. Thank you for everything!

Such a brilliant Airbnb! The house was beautiful, very stylish and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for everyone to stay and lots of bedding. The location was great, right on the Oxfordshire Way for walking and the village was very picturesque. Heidi was really helpful, offered flexible check in and out and gave us lots of tips for enjoying the house and the area. Would highly recommend!

From start to finish Heidi was a pleasure to deal with, and the house is just incredible - we knew it would be nice but the photos don't really do it justice, it's an exquisite place. A wonderful, fun-filled weekend was had and we'd recommend the place to anyone.

We had such a great stay at Hollyhock house for my sister's hen do. Heidi and her husband were very helpful and thoughtful. They were very laid back and let us check-in and check-out when it suited us. The house is spacious and lovely, the grounds are gorgeous - we loved the hut, and the location is great - we went to The Crown in Woodstock and into Oxford punting. Only thing I'd say is the house could do with a few more showers. Would highly recommend

A calm little cottage away from everything - aside from a few peacocks! Was a lovely and relaxing place to spend two nights! Was a little difficult to travel to without a car, but the buses into Thame made it pretty accessible!

Emily’s place was such a nice stay and wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was pristine upon arrival and check-in was very simple. Hot tub is a lovely touch, and is easy to work, the chlorine can be quite strong when you first turn it on, but once we left it on for 15 minutes with the door open the smell was gone! Overall lovely stay and will definitely come back again 😊

Lovely gem of a place, will definitely be back soon, had everything we needed and more and waking up to ducks, peacocks and geese was super cool.

I thoroughly enjoyed the location, the wonderful views of the countryside, and the trail of geese, hens, cockerels, and peacocks that would parade along the path in front of the annexe, and the peacocks would even perch on the garden table and chairs outside my window ledge. The whole managerie of birds would then be seen scattered over the grassed areas of the farm. That is priceless and wonderful. The annexe space is very well appointed, and I made good use of it. The bed was really comfy, and I could just sprawl out over the lounge corner armchair. I would agree with past comments that it needs a lick of renewal, but the structure and furniture is sound and it was not a problem. I stuck to using the oven where the baking trays and pyrex dishes were great. I loved the touch of a loaf of bread and fresh duck and hen eggs, not forgetting the wine in the fridge which was all lovely (but don't forget to bring milk!). Emily rides horses and her father works on the farm, and both are totally down to earth. I didn't see anyone else. I enjoyed my stay as a totally down to earth, escape to the country, space for myself type of experience.

Louise’s place was easy to get to and provided a great base to visit nearby Oxford. Location is quiet and relaxing; small pub can be reached on foot within a couple of minutes. Accommodation was cosy with plenty of thoughtful touches. Would consider staying again if in the area.

This is the second time I have stayed with Louise. Her properties are beautifully set up, well thought out and spotlessly clean. Great spot to use as a base for exploring the area. Also only 10+ minutes drive to Oxford Parkway for trains into London.

Michael’s place is super clean and has everything one needs for a short stay in Oxford. It’s close to a park and with short walking distances to the main spots of Oxford. I super recommend!!

Very convenient location. The facilities and facilities of the cottage are very good. My family and I can buy food in the supermarket and go back to cook. Although the house is right next to the road, it can sleep well without being noisy in the hut.

I stayed at Alex's cozy room the whole week and it was perfect. Alex is indeed a super-host and super kind and the place has been well designed as a teeny tiny space with nice touches. Will definitely come back again. Only thing is that the "house noises" (water running in the pipes, flashing water upstairs...) are quite loud because of the size I suppose, so maybe not suitable if you are very sensitive to noises. Other than that- perfect!

This was a gem for me. It had great reviews but the reality was even better. Lovely space, loved the independence with key in a box and own entrance. Host super responsive to my emails. It was beautifully clean, very comfortable and I loved the kitchenette and milk in the fridge! Location great if you realise that not central oxford but super quiet and on the right side for me for Oxford Brookes and v easy to get into the centre. Huge thanks!

Andrei 'place is easy to find, the location is wonderful, 5 mins walk from the railway station, 3 mins walk from Sainsbury. The check in process is straightforward, and Andrei is a warm hearted host. Nice place to stay if you travel to Oxford. Andrei is a very good host. His house is also very large. He lives in a comfortable and clean place. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials for cooking, such as oil and salt. The check-in procedure is very simple and the price is fair

Overall, great stay. The place was very clean and there is a large shared space including a kitchen if needed. I was visiting family, so I spent little time in the actual Airbnb but the apartment was perfect for my stay and the lockbox check-in/out is very convenient. One night coming back, the front door lock was jammed or closed improperly (I’m not sure), but the key would not open the door. Luckily, another guest staying in the upstairs part of the house was able to let me inside. Other than this one-time hiccup, there were no issues and I had a great stay.

Tim and Clare are extremely nice people. The room is very clean and lovely too. The access to the city centre is also good (around 10mins by buss). Highly recommend!

Lovely couples and this loft bedroom has everything you need. 10 minutes from Oxford train station. Has delicious cookies, milk, tea...for breakfast. The decorations and details are cute, even for the bathroom. Everything is perfect and really like a home, which made us hard to say goodbye haha. Looking forward to stay here next time.

My wife and I stayed in this space on the last night of our honeymoon. Tim was welcoming, kind, and extremely thoughtful. We had a great conversation upon arrival, and provided us with recommendations for our trip into town. The space is perfect: clean, comfortable, and close to town. Do yourself a favor and stay here when you’re in Oxford!

Dorota was a great host - although we didn’t meet her personally, she responded quickly to our questions and we had a smooth and easy check in. Her place is conveniently located near a Tesco and only around a 25 minute walk from the city centre. Breakfast was greatly appreciated also!

I stayed at Dorota's place on a weekend trip in Oxford, and it was everything I wished for! Everything was clean and tidy, and it was probably the best equipped Airbnb I have been in so far - the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked, and the bedroom was warm and comfy. Visiting Oxford center takes around 10minutes by bus, and the house is in a really quiet place in the suburbs. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Very nice apartment, well decorated, very well located, it has anything you may need ! The luggage storage space is a very nice plus. Only point of attention: the apartment is located next to an important road and may be a little noisy, but earplugs allowed us to sleep well.

Dorota is a very attentive and flexible host who has thought of most needs of a person for a longer stay. During my stay, Dorota helped me in many ways including collecting parcels for me, responding immediately to minor requests, and was incredibly flexible and reasonable when it can to an expected change in the dates of my stay. A top host, who really understands the value of good customer service. Will not hesitate to stay again. One minor issue of the house is that with 5 rooms sharing the kitchen space, it can sometimes feel a little busy, and one should obviously expect to hear others moving around most mornings, but nothing some forward planning and some earplugs doesn’t solve.

Very clean and neat house with 5 rooms, all with their own individual bathrooms. My room had an attached toilet which was a bit small but very clean and tidy. All types of amenities were available for use including washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. The breakfast was good. There was bread,- butter, coffee, a variety of teas, 7 types of cereals, some fruits and on some days there were eggs and juices too. I met guests from 5 countries during my 2 weeks stay. The heater worked well and kept me warm throughout . Check-in was very easy . The house is conviniently located, close to the city centre (8 minutes by bus from the house to city centre). There is also a pedestrian path along the Thames from the house to city centre, which takes 25 minutes to walk and is very scenic with boats and swans and lot of people jogging or fishing on the way. I liked my stay overall and would rate this place very good.

Charlie’s place was perfect for what we needed. Close to central Oxford, and extremely clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and Charlie was always very quick to respond. It was great value for money and exceeded our expectations in every way!

I came to Oxford for work and stayed at Charlie's house for one night. The house is just down the street and easy to check in. The room was comfortable and there was no noise at night.

The accommodation is exactly what it says it is - but maybe even better. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and beautiful as well as the bathroom and the rooms are nice and tidy. The Abingdon is not too noisy but the distance from the city center is really nice. There is Tesco nearby so even cooking is easily possible :) Thanks!

Great little place with a great location near oxford university and center of the city! The kitchen and shower were tiny, but if you’re staying for a short time it doesn’t matter. I would definitely recommend this place!

The room we rented was bigger than we expected. Everything you needed was there - iron, ironing board, usb ports, tv, hob, microwave. The location was also really great ! It’s a 3 minute walk to the train station and an 8 minute walk to the main attractions in oxford. Andrei was also really great, responded really quick and was very friendly. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family

Andrew's room was very spacious, with a nice sofa and recliner in addition to the bed. Right across the road from the business school, the railway station and bus station, it was just a 15 min walk from the high street and other attractions. I would definitely want to stay here again in the future.

Perfectly situated, especially if you are traveling to/from London via Oxford tube. The house is really cosy, love the kitchen/communal area in the basement (comes with basic breakfast+Netflix+wine!) and the spacious, clean bathroom. The host is also highly responsive and accommodating too, we would definitely stay there again!

The house is in a great location, and the walk into town is a really nice route, especially going over Magdalene Bridge. The house itself is very clean, and has all the amenities you would want. We were very happy to stay there, and would highly recommend it.

A lovely room in the perfect location forca night in Oxford. The flat is perfect with access to a great kitchen and lounge with a garden too. Really thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine to enjoy. A comfue bed and fab shower. A little gem in the city.

Andrei's place is conveniently located to eating places and has convenient parking right out front. Its equipped with everything you could need and communication is very good.

This homestay is 3.8km from Oxford University Radcliffe Camera and a 30-40 minute walk. The rooms are clean, the public toilets are clean, and there are more kitchen equipment. Cost-effective, met several international exchange students to rent. One room has a separate door leading to the outside road, but the entrance requires a public door. Near the road, noisy at night. In late January the room heating was not very hot and could not be adjusted.

A lovely room within reasonable distance of the Oxford City Centre. I would stay here again!

Freidy was very nice and helpful. Her place is completely independent with a private door, shower and bathroom. The room was very spacious and the kitchen was comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there. It is some 15 minutes walk from the Bodleian Library. I strongly recommend it.

Awesome location close to restaurants and shops

It was well located just outside the centre of oxford and close to where we needed to be. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the kitchen seemed to have all the necessary amenities. Noise travelled quite a lot from the apartment below but it wasn’t an issue for us. It was exactly what we needed.

We had a great time staying at Freidy's place. It is very conveniently located on a lively street with lots of dining options. As a result, it was a little loud at times (but nothing compared to where we live in London). The flat itself is very spacious and nicely set up with all the amenities we needed. Freidy was also very communicative and quick to ask us if we needed anything. A perfect base to explore Oxford!

Perfect location and free parking. Within walking distance of everything and so many restaurants you could stay for a month and not eat in the same place twice.

Freidy's flat was the perfect place for a night in Oxford. The location is prime with excellent dining options options nearby, and a short 10-minute walk into the town center. The flat was well-cleaned and quiet on a Sunday night. The kitchen appeared to have the basic necessities for those interested in making simple meals, and there is ample living space to move about. The one caveat, as mentioned in other reviews, is that the bathroom is technically outside of the flat with the toilet in a room immediately outside the door, and the shower in a room downstairs adjacent to another flat. However, we had no issues with this for our one night and would stay here again!

Dorota's home is easily accessible from the center of Oxford with just one bus. The instructions to enter and stay provided by the host are clear and precise, for the restro you can enjoy the wonderfully organized spaces. The room (3) is small but tidy, with TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, wardrobe and desk. The bathroom (downstairs) is small but functional (and clean!); they are supplied in a wall dispenser: hand soap, body lotion and shower gel! The shared kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything to have breakfast but also to have a small lunch. The outdoor garden is beautiful, comfortable and the only space where smoking is allowed. At home there are some power adapters and the first aid kit, when I arrived I found a bottle of water and a glass in the room, in short, there is everything you need to be comfortable for days or weeks. Negatives: there were stains in the duvet cover and in the bedroom the wall on which the bed is placed emanates cold at night, I advise the host to put a side padded back.

I have stayed here before in a different room. I had everything I needed. Checking in is convenient. Location is really good as well. Will be back again soon!

AirBnb ideally located on a pretty suburban street 10 minutes walk from Christ Church and 15 minutes from Oxford city center. Ideal for visiting the city! Easy to find thanks to Rachel's directions, immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. I highly recommend!

Rachel is such a kind host. She was very attentive and made it very easy to check in, stay, and check out. Only 10min walk from Christ Church, quiet and nice location.

Rachel's room is in a brilliant location on a nice quiet street just a few minutes easy walk from the centre of Oxford. The room is big and comfortable, lovely and warm, and the shower is excellent. Rachel answers enquiries very quickly and made the whole process very smooth and easy

Highly recommend! Location: Only about a 15-20 minute walk into town and it’s very easy, basically just a straight line! The parking was great, lots of space :) Check-in was very easy too. The room was lovely, exactly what we were looking for and lots of space for the two of us. The shared bathroom was also great, and the hosts provided lots of thoughtful toiletries which we really really appreciated. We didn’t have time to try out the breakfast but we did have a look and the kitchen was spacious and clean, with lots of food options provided! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Oxford, and we felt lucky to find somewhere that actually had parking! Thanks for a great stay :)

This was an attractive, comfortable room in a shared house with good kitchen. Warm, good Wi-Fi and nice touches, overall very good value.

Lovely place. Off-road parking . Pub 30 seconds walk. Chippy 30 seconds walk in opposite direction and on bus route. Immediate book and hostless checkin available. I've twice booked within 4 hours of arriving and got a lovely room. Thanks girls it was a peaceful sleep.

Good location within walking distance of the city centre but surprisingly quiet at night. A lot of thought has gone into this place from large numbers on the door that you can see easily from the road to the great breakfast and hot drink selection and spare toothpaste etc in the bathroom. Check in was super easy and everything was pretty clean and tidy. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely apartment in a superb location.

We just stayed for a second time at Judith’s place for ten days and felt very comfortable at her cozy apartment. As I’ve said in my earlier review, location, amenities and bed are great and communication with Judith quick, easy and helpful. Plus she and her family are really lovely. Much hoping to come back again soon!

Judith’s place is just great – perfect location with easy bus access into town, lots of shops around and cozy to hang out, with all amenities that you need (and comfy bed!). This was a lovely little place, nice and cosy and a bit out of the way but not too much. Lots of shops and watery places close, main Oxford town wasn’t far either. There are lots of things to look at nearby, Belemien palace was beautiful, would recommend. Overall lovely place, relaxing and something different.

This is a lovely and cosy little basement flat just a short walk outside of bustle of Oxford centre. You can easily hop on public transport but I enjoyed the 30min walk into Oxford centre. The flat was comfortable and warm. Judith's husband kindly checked on me to make sure I was warm enough! It was very clean and homely with little touches like local tips and things to do, tea and milk and a great bath tub. Everything I needed for a relaxing weekend out of London! I highly recommend this stay and I'll definitely be back.

Judith is a very good host with quick responses to communication and the flat was exactly as billed. It was spotlessly clean and warm and comfortable. Location is good, it’s very close to some shops, a mid-sized Co-op supermarket just a few minutes walk away was handy. And a good location being a little way out of the town centre so was reasonably quiet and I walked into the centre of Oxford in about 30 minutes. I would certainly recommend.

Billy is a great host. Really responsive to questions. The flat is pristine and less than 20 mins walk to centre of Oxford. The Gatwick to Oxford coach super easy and way less hassle than driving/parking. Highly recommend a stay here.

Had a lovely stay at the flat. The modern and stylish space was perfect for what we needed for 2 nights. Easily walkable into central Oxford. Just be aware parking is tricky but there are spaces around. Overall great stay, would highly recommend.

The apartment was perfect for our one night in Oxford. Close to lots of great places to eat/go out, easy to access with public transportation, and just a super cute and clean place to stay. Highly recommend!

This is the nicest air bnb I've ever stayed in! It was so beautifully & thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom was really large & felt relaxing to be in. The only thing to note is there isn't really any free/overnight parking around! We managed but it was very tricky. Best to go without a car if you can!

We had a wonderful stay at Billy's place, I cannot fault it. I have already recommended to friends and family and shall continue to do so. The flat was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. The check in/ check out process was super easy, the place has been styled beautifully (love the bathroom!) and the bed was super comfy. I just wish the weather was better so that we could of enjoyed the garden.. we will have to come back! Thank you!

Really nice and cosy apartment just as in the pictures, even a bit bigger than expected :) it had everything you need including breakfast and a tv. Good value for Oxford and a great location. It’s very easy to walk to town & Cowley road with lots of shops/pubs/restaurants. Didn’t meet Billy in person but communication was quick and easy. Booked this for my parents as I live close by and they were very happy. Would happily book again

A very cosy place.

Great hospitality, such a cozy space and thoughtful touches. I was staying over for work and we had a nice visit upon my arrival, and I was then allowed to get in with prep. In the morning there was a delicious breakfast and Siddo set me up with the scenic route in, which google maps wouldn’t provide!

Siddo’s place is richly decorated, clean and very comfy. He also makes yummy breakfast with self made jams. He responds quickly and is hospitable. Very much enjoyed my stay.

Matt's place was great overall. The self check-in was easy and everything was comfortable and as described. The one small issue is that it is a bit further than I would want to walk from the city center, but easily reachable by bus. I would recommend it to anyone.

Charlotte's place was quite cosy and nice and especially warm on the stormy day that I spent in Oxford. Would definitely recommend it because it's great value for money. The dog is the shrewdest animal I've ever met!

The madam's house is quite quiet, comfortable and clean. The dog is lovely and will welcome the guest every time coming back the house.

Cozy bedroom, comfy bed, quiet house, spacious bathroom. Charlotte was friendly and accommodating. Her dog is SO cute — I’d stay again just for him! The noise from the street was a bit loud in the morning, but not horrible. Overall a five-star stay.

Kathryn's place is an adorable house located in Jericho, one of the best neighborhoods in Oxford. It is very close to pubs, shops, and the city center. The room is large and comfortable. Kathryn is very hospitable and knows Oxford very well. She gave us some great tips for activities during our trip and for future visits to Oxford.

Amazing room! It was very clean, comfy and close to everything. There was tea and filtered water available as well as cutleries. The room had enough light and Janet responded to all my messages very quickly. Would highly recommend!

Janet’s place was perfect! The room is the top floor of the house, light-filled and clean. The en-suite bathroom is very convenient and the bed is comfortable. Walking into town takes about 25 mins, but the bus stop is also close by. Janet was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. She was a wonderful host! Her home is an ideal place to stay in Oxford for a great value.

Janet’s lovely attic room had a comfortable bed, a kettle with teabags, coffee, filtered water and milk. The shower was hot and everything was sparkling clean, good towels provided and lots of city maps/guides. The room was warm and cosy with a bedside lamp for reading. The bus into Oxford is regular and doesn’t take long. I would stay here again and recommend it to any females visiting Oxford for a quiet stay. Janet’s communication was also excellent.

A lovely clean open space with comfortable double bed. Fresh air from skylight and patio style doors was very welcome. There’s a kettle and filtered water provided. En suite is clean and efficient with good hot water showers. Be aware there are several steps as the room is located in the attic space. Just less than half a mile to Cowley high street with lots of cafes and bars and places to eat. I’d definitely stay again if in the area.

Lovely private attic room with en-suite, with tea and coffee and some plates and utensils provided. Janet was very responsive, and was kind enough to let me park my foldable bike in the hallway (outer shed collapsed recently due to the storm). Great location too!

This place is very well equipped, both in terms of modern appliances in the kitchen and bedrooms. There is plenty of choice for breakfast, but there's also room in the fridge and kitchen cupboards for you to stock up on anything else you like. My room (Room 2) was a good size with a comfortable double bed and en-suite shower room. Thoughtful extras such as bottles of water and slippers in the room were a nice surprise. The only problem I had was getting through the front door as I struggled to see the keypad in the dark without a torch and to get it to accept the code until about the fifth attempt on average. Could have been my own incompetence punching in the number in the dark, though, as I always got in eventually!

It is a pleasure to stay at Dorota's place. Easy to find (right in front of the bus station). It is easy to contact the host via messages and phone and she kindly allowed us to store our baggage early before check-in and after check-out in a secure storage place.
