The flat is very nice and everything is very clean and tidy and it is just one stop by train from the central station but we would have liked to do the check in earlier. And I had to pay for the sheets because I damaged them by accident, but it was my fault so I was happy to take care of it.

Would recommend staying here as it is a lovely place in a great location. On the tram it takes 15 mins to get into the centre.

Christofoor was a really cool host very nice and welcoming. The place looks exactly as in the pictures, it's very clean and modern. We felt very welcomed. The apartment is about 20/30 minute walk from the city center, but is very close to trams which are convenient to the airport and center city. The location is close from every cool places, parcs and museums. He lent us his two bikes that make our trip perfect. Thanks a lot for everything Cristofoor !

It was a pleausure to spend our vacation on this houseboat! Mariette is a great host and we had a really good time! It is a perfect location when our on vacation with a group! you are sleeping in different rooms, but you are able to sit, eat and cook together, not like in a hotel and you have a great sundeck. The pictures are a little bit older, but it is still very nice on this houseboat!

I was at Ruben's place with my mom. For the location, his place is very close to tram 4, one min walking. For the room, it looks exactly the same as the pics, spacious and bright with two big windows. We spent a great time there, coz Ruben is very considerate and friendly. He likes talking with us, offering me sweet cookies in the room and coffee in the morning. We talked a lot.

This was my first time using Airbnb and I couldn't have asked for a better time. My company and I were slightly lost when we arrived in Amsterdam trying to find the apartment (due to our own lack of planning!) yet Ruben offered to come out and meet us to show us back the place. The room was just as pictured and Ruben was an absolutely fantastic host. Was there to help with any questions we had all weekend and made us feel really comfortable to be there. A short walk or bike ride from central Dam with plenty of great food and clothes shops along the way. WONDERFUL :)

We had a great stay! The room was clean and spacious, and Ruben made sure we felt at home. We stayed for 3 nights and the location was great for all the tourist things we wanted to do (Rijks, Van Gogh, etc). Everything was walking distance. We would stay at this place again!

Place located in DE PIJP neighborhood not so far from most interesting museums in Amsterdam ( Stedelijk, Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum ). Ruben very nice and friendly man, he can suggest you interesting places for visiting besides typical touristic places.

Stef and Angel are very kind, they welcome us with clean beautiful towels, tea, coffee and biscuits. The room is extremely beautiful. It is not located in the centre of the city, but very easy to get to the city center with Tram 4, about 15 mintues. The neighbourhood is quite and nice.

Such a wonderful stay! Superb hosts. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Great Indonesian restaurant just around the corner. Tram number 4 is a short walk from the flat, and takes you right to the city center (and Centraal Station). 24 or 48 hour tram pass is the best value if you are seeing the sights.

It was a wonderful holiday, despite the fact that the first time we have chosen apartments instead of hotel. vera greeted us as friends) with a smile and champagne!The house is located in the exclusive and expensive area of Amserdam next to a beautiful park through which you can walk and quickly get to the center. Right next to the house is an excellent supermarket where prices are cheapest. If you want to buy before leaving any products- best to do very comfortable there. also opposite the cafe where you can have a quick, tasty and inexpensive meal. The whole apartment is very nice and cozy. we occupied one floor of the apartment and upstairs living Vera, that was always there and was ready to help. The apartment has 2 full bedrooms, one with a huge bed and everything you need for comfort,a shower, room with washing machine. Always clean towels and linens. Thanks to her for a separate breakfast unreal !! very nice to wake up by the smell of coffee and croissants! We did not want to leave there. And we are sure that we come back to this place!

The description of the apartment was very accurate. It was very clean and comfortable with the big eat-in kitchen, and two bedrooms(best sleep we had in Europe!) It is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the Park, transportation, and Museum district. Overall a fantastic experience, we definitely recommend Vera's place.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! We were welcomed with open arms, cappuccinos and cookies. Vera was very helpful and kind. There is laundry available and the breakfast was beyond words. The bikes Vera provided were a nice addition to our stay. The beds are really comfortable and we felt at home. We would stay with Vera again in a heartbeat.

Our travel plans were very indefinite until the day we arrived and Vera was very tolerant and helpful via email regarding arrival. When we finally made it she greeted us with drinks and hors d'ouvres. The apartment is bright and friendly, just like Vera! The beds are fabulous and everything is sparkling clean. Breakfast is really a treat as Vera is a professional baker so if you love chocolate croissants (or plain) hit the request button NOW! After she found out I am gluten free she found some delicious gluten free bread just for me. The area is quiet and close to the tram so you can get to the center very easily. The Vondepark(sp?) is very close and wonderful. We enjoyed our visit and would return in a heartbeat.

Vera was an amazing and very welcoming hostess. This was our first Airbnb experience and one that will be very difficult to surpass thanks to Vera's hospitality. Vera gave us very clear and helpful guidance to ensure we enjoyed our first visit to Amsterdam. As for the breakfast - wow! It was perfect with plenty of choice and set us up for a long day exploring the city. The bedrooms were excellent and we could not have asked for any more to help us enjoy Amsterdam. Oh yes and dingy the bar on the corner - great food, great mojitos and very hospitable staff. Thanks Vera.

Overall the place is great, they're new to hosting so I can see how a few things fell through the cracks. The biggest issue for us was there was only one shower in the house, we were expecting two as per what was advertised. Also be careful on the steps to the roof, I fell down the staircase due to a tiny bit of moisture on the steps. The house is very very nice, and the location is incredible. Once they finish the 2nd bathroom and the street construction is completed it will be a perfect house. Until then just make sure you are very clear on what to expect. 5 people sharing one shower is tough.

We had a really great stay in Jeanette’s apartment. The place is big, full of natural light and beautiful. The living room is pretty stylish with large windows and very convenient kitchen. The roof terrace is a real high point of the house, definitely it’s punch line. We loved having breakfast there a lot. Jeanette was a hospitable proprietress, easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful. Great area around, fancy boutiques, lovely small cafes. We enjoyed staying there and would definitely recommend this place.

Our stay at Diederick's place was perfect. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, next to the most famous park of Amsterdam, 10 min walking from Ann frank's house and museums, 15 min by tram from the very downtown. The apartment itself has been totally renovated in a very cosy way and beds were comfortable. Diederick and his friend have been very responsive and kind all the way along. Actually the only thing I could complain about was the weather. :) unfortunately that's not something they can control :)

Geert's family home is a wonderful respite from the touristy areas of Amsterdam and yet only a stone's throw away from everything you want to see. Minutes from the museum district, and on a quiet side street, this beautifully appointed home has everything you need. Including a delightful garden out back.

This is a grateful house. In quite location yet close to the city centre. It was ideal for our family of four being spa ious and we'll equipped. The garden was a definately bonus. A perfect base for our week in Amsterdam. Geert's description of the property was accurate and our welcome was excellent. We would definately recommend it.

Geert's description was dead-on accurate and it was wonderful. His friend Rob met us at the apartment and showed us around. Geert was also kind enough to leave a booklet with instruction on just about everything. The apartment was incredibly roomy - a nice open dining room with an open kitchen as well. Although we didn't need it, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we would need if we wanted to cook. The bedrooms were very comfortable. There are three bedrooms, one of them very small but with a full size bed so it was comfortable. It's on the ground floor with a beautiful garden in the back. Unfortunately for us it rained most of the days we were there so we couldn't make full use of the garden. The bathrooms were very clean and large. We were able to walk through the park to Museumplein and it was wonderful. We walked just about everywhere from the apartment and up the street is a fabulous food hall with lots of choices of dishes from different restaurants. Thank you Geert and Rob - it was an absolutely wonderful stay.

Geert's house is in a really nice area close to the city center and with great restaurants. We have walked most of the time, but the tram station is around the corner. Parking is really expensive in Amsterdam, so I recommend the cheap Park&Ride system. The house itself is spacious and cosy. We loved the possibility to sit in the garden, and the comfortable and cosy living room/open kitchen.

Beste Geert en Bodil, Wij hebben heerlijke dagen in jullie huis doorgebracht. Wat is het toch bijzonder dat je je zou gauw thuis kan voelen in een huis van een ander! We werden vriendelijk ontangen door Andres die volgens afspraak ons binnenliet. Het huis was zeer gezellig ingericht en schoon. Ook heel fijn dat we gebruik konden maken van koffie,thee, eieren en melk . We konden alles makkelijk vinden en hadden alles wat een fijn verblijf mogelijk maakt zoals een goed uitgeruste keuken, fijne bedden en schone badkamer. Maar vooral de warme sfeer van het huis sprak ons enorm aan. Ook leuk dat de kerstboom er nog stond ! De omgeving was rustig en openbaar vervoer was dichtbij. Al met al een heerlijke uitvalsbasis om van Amsterdam te genieten! Ik zou dit verblijf aan iedereen aanraden. Dank voor het beschikbaar stellen van jullie huis! Alles vorhanden was man brauch, ordentlich und sauber. Gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Prima Anbindung durch Straßenbahn direkt in der Nähe. Besonders hilfreich ist der kostenlose Parkplatz gleich um die Ecke. Küche war etwas einfach ausgestattet und es hätten für jeden 2 Handtücher statt nur einem da sein können. Dafür aber ein wunderschöner Blick auf die Westlandgracht. Einkaufsläden sowie Gaststätten auch für das Frühstück gleich in der Nähe. Besonders gut - das glutenfreie Frühstück bei Bagels and Beans.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage ist TOP und die Kommunikation mit Peter war unkompliziert und schnell. Gerne wieder!!!

Vondel House is a lovely place to stay. The apartment is nicely furnished and roomy. Close to good restaurants, tram transportation and the Park. Wilbert is an excellent host and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home. I would definitely return!

Everything about the apartment was perfect..granted it's slightly outside the main area but I truly enjoy that. Being in the center of the action and retreating to quiet and the park or your local bar. There was a mishap with the bike that made the end of our trip quite unfortunate and for that reason I would not stay here again. But it has been handled by Airbnb thoughtfully and for that I would definitely recommend staying here for the location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vondel house! A nice peaceful location in a beautiful neighborhood. Its just down the street from a major tram line and walking distance to the center of the city, if so inclined. Wilbert was an excellent host, who was kind enough to print out some tickets for us and answer any questions we had. Shayna and Bruce were also extremely nice. Definitely a recommended place to stay for those looking to be close to the noise and chaos of center city but prefer not to be sleeping in it.

I had an amazing time in Amsterdam, and Nikki/Jeffery's place was perfect. The apartment is super close to the tram, or if you don't mind walking it's about a 25 min walk to the edge of the city center. Maybe the best place we ever rented for holidays. The appartment was lovely and located in a very nice and full of life neighborhood in Amsterdam. We really enjoyed to have this place to stay after walking and cycling in the city. The photos really don't lie. Nina's apartment is indeed lovely, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The location by the market is a plus and, amazingly enough, no noise comes from the street when the windows are closed. Personally, I left them open during the day because I really enjoyed the sounds. Nina, herself, is lovely, kind and helpful. The only thing I would change is the terrace. Presently it cannot be used for anything but drying clothes, which is too bad because terraces can be so wonderful when they are hospitable.

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Nina's apartment. Nina ( who is one of the nicest people we have ever met ) greeted us with fresh flowers and fruit, a btl of wine and amazing cake she had made herself! She continued to surpass our expectations with museum passes and a wealth of information about where to eat and what to do locally. The apartment is stunning , spotless, and within walking distance to everything you would want to see and do in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. The markets on Nina's street are brilliant with an abundance of delicious food and shopping. The best way to describe our experience at Nina's is perfection. Ninas place is the perfect spot to stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was beautifully decorated had everything we needed and the beds where very comfortable. As a host Nina went above and beyond. She waited around as we got in late and when we arrived she had baked cake for us and had a bottle of wine. She was also incredibly helpful in terms of what to do and gave me a detailed list on the best places to eat and visit. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. If u like to stay in Airbnb just like in hotel, this is it. You can't not enter the living room, garden, kitchen, they are locked , not allow to enter, the space you can go is your own room and bath room. One day, I saw the living room’s door is open, and Yvonne’s son is inside, I asked whether I can take photos of living room, he said Ok. I came back at that night, Yvonne knocked my room ,said to me it is not allow to take photos of her houses, after she left, and her husband knocked my room again and shout me, ask me to delete immediately, so I delete 2 photos that I took in living room in front of her. I am tourist, I want to keep photos for memory that the place I stay in Amsterdam. That is it. Besides I took photos after I got the permission from family. After they knocked my door warning me twice at night , I couldn’t sleep all night , I think it I'd most worse experience stay in Airbnb.

We had a wonderful time at Yvonne's place and I would give it 10 stars if this was possible. The location is ideal 1 metro stop from the airport and very close to the tram stop (3min walk) with very easy to access all the main attractions using the tram. The blue room is beautiful, very tastefully decorated and we were spoiled rotten by Yvonne with everything we needed, we even had our own posh coffee machine in the room and very tasty coffee. The bed was so comfortable allowing us the best nights sleep and it even had it's own aircon. I recommend this lovely gem accommodation to everyone looking to explore Amsterdam, the service was personal and attentive and we will certainly return to stay with Yvonne.

So sorry for delaying my review for so long. it was quite an amazing experience both in Amsterdam and Yvonne's house. She is a nice person and so kind to provide some travel information as much as possible. It s a quiet place without any noises. and its easy to find it from the airport. The transportation is very convenient to city center. i strongly recommend this house for accommodation.

Jan provides accommodation in a premier location of Amsterdam, with easy access to parks, museums, trams and even Uber. Thank you. Jan's travel aboard during our visit did have some negative impact, which I would like to objectively describe. Before those , I would like to acknowledge that Jan's friend has made his most effort to address issues and accommodate guests' needs. Many thanks for all those. The toilet is on the ground floor, quite some hike away from second floor rooms. This info would be helpful before hand. The wifi coverage on the second floor can be spotty though Jan's friend helped resetting the router, which alleviate the issue to some extent. Jan was traveling abroad on our day of arrival and understandably didn't manage to respond to our arrival notice promptly. Should we had been told about his travel, we would not have been as panic. The whole apartment is still a project in progress. It is not hard to see its potential, but let's just say its current status is far from its full potential. Having said the above, we do appreciate the accommodation Jan provided. Its location allowed a colorful schedule, and we strongly recommend the Seafood Bar restaurant a couple of blocks away. When Jan's refurbishing projects finish , this will definitely be an even better property.

I definitely would recommend Jan's b'n'b. The biggest plus is Jan himself - very likable, interesting person and very helpful as well. The apartment? The biggest plus is definitely the location - within walking distance of pretty much everything you'd like to see in Amsterdam. The room was good, breakfasts were fine as well, the only downside was the toilet - not on the same floor and with a broken lock - though if that was fixed, we really would have nothing to complain about. Would certainly come back.

Jan was great and super responsive. The place was a comfortable stay and we had no problems getting anywhere from here. Would stay again! He even gave us 2 museum card passes to use while we stayed! A nice little treat.

A great room in a very convenient neighborhood. This listing lived up to the reviews! This was my first experience renting through Air BnB and I was very please with the accommodation. The room was large and comfortable and quite stylishly decorated. The bed was firm but comfortable. The house had its quirks, such as the toilet was located one floor below the room. It's an old house and that comes with the territory. You couldn't ask for a better location if you want to be walking distance to lots of things and still have a quiet street to sleep.

Felix was a perfect host ever. I could check-in early in the morning. He gave us flexible check-in time. And the flat was just like the picture above! So cozy and comfortable . Big enough, also! And the surrounding atmosphere around the house was quite calm and peaceful. Although I only stayed a night at the flat, I had a wonderful stay at the flat. I strongly recommend this flat for stay in Amsterdam!

Chris was a good host, and accommodated a late arrival for us. The apartment is reasonable walking distance to the museum's quarters (about 15-20 minutes), and the area has a local grocery store and few terraces to hang out, and that stay open late. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps works well in this area, and recommend using it or something similar to find the place. On the improvement side, we recommend better cleaning and a bed that does not make so much noise. Otherwise a comfortable stay.

This is a lovely apartment in a very cool area! Chris was very helpful and communicative. Very bright and clean space - I found the sofa bed really comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I had the best time staying at this spot. Christopher makes himself available for guests and had some great recommendations. The neighborhood of De Pijp is the place to be and you are just a few meters away from some of the best bars and restaurants we found in all of Amsterdam. The bed is a little uncomfortable but overall I would recommend Christopher's place to anyone who wants a great host in a wonderful neighborhood
