You can feel that Osamu-san takes pride in being a superhost. The sparkling clean apartment has a homely feel, well equipped with household appliances. Ideally located, accessible to all your needs, like, monorail, 24hours supermarket and food outlets. But beyond the control of host, the area is also noisy well after midnight.

Osamu's room is a very nice room! The room is about 1 minute on foot from Asato Station, and there are plenty of nearby izakayas and yakitori restaurants that are highly recommended. (Coffee pot at Sakaemachi Market is also recommended!) There is not much distance to Kokusai Street, so it is good to walk leisurely. The building was designed to resemble a traditional Okinawan house, and it was a space that could enhance the enjoyment of travel. The stars looked very beautiful because there was little light around.

Perfect area for a quick getaway. Beach was a minute away! Our dog was able to join us and had fun too. I loved the porch, and that it was a more modern style tradition Okinawan home.

My wife and I stayed in this clean and cozy cottage for one night. It is a traditional Okinawa house with big yard and very close to a nice beach (with 1-2 minutes walking distance). All the facilities are complete. But if you want to cook, you need to prepare seasoning by yourselves. The only thing need to be reminded is that since we arrived at night time, we had some hard time to locate the house by using google map. It is strongly recommended to arrive during the day time.

We do n’t have an international driver ’s license, so we ca n’t rent a car. We ’ll be there in the past. Any questions during the stay, the landlord can quickly reply and answer! It was so cozy and I spent more time in the room than I had planned. I was able to watch a movie and listen to music while drinking with my parents, and I was able to have an unusual experience. The weather was disappointing for three days, but it was a very satisfying trip to Okinawa. I was a little worried about food etc. because there was no car, but there was no problem because Starbucks and Hanasaki Marche were within walking distance without any exaggeration. In terms of transportation, there is an airport bus and a local Okinawa bus stop each one minute walk away. It is convenient to travel from the airport to various attractions, and the entrance is a scenic spot. You can even start the trip on the day of arrival. It is only four stops away from the aquarium. If you need to cook for 15-20 minutes, you can also go to the supermarket. There are also many restaurants where you can walk for one minute without cooking. There is also Starbucks, which is very suitable for people without cars. The interior is very neat and clean, and the daily necessities are well-equipped. I selected Kinjo's place for it's great value & proximity to the airport because we had an early morning flight out. it worked out perfectly and took our cab about 10 mins to get there. also, the idea of traditional style tatami rooms was very enticing ;) my son really enjoyed running around the space day & night. it is walking distance to a handful of restaurants (the one we tried was awesome), plus the monorail station is a quick stroll away. it's also walking distance to a HUGE 2nd hand store with so many treasures waiting to be found. we were greeted in the morning since when we arrived in the evening nobody was home, plus there were breads laid out for us on the table, which was super nice. fast communication, great host, would def stay again~

This place is a lot bigger than it seems on the photo. I traveled with a child and stayed for 3 days. The tatami room was our favorite. A kid get to climb the bunk bed stairs and roam around in the tatami room. They have 3 air conditioners in this room! It is not too far from international street and the airport. It was the best last stop for us before flying out. There was only one parking, so make sure you check if you can get parking.

This is a 2nd floor of a family house, so it's a great place to stay and live like a local for a short time or a long time. I loved walking, so I walked around Monorail Akamine Station and Aeon Mall Starbucks, especially the izakaya run by the host.

Close to the airport and easy access to the city. There is a convenience store across the street and the host-run izakaya is not far away. I used to walk. It's been built a long time ago and there's some noise on the big roadside, but it's great to do it in the sun and do yoga or stretching in the tatami room!

This homestay is only one stop away from the airport, and there is parking space, so renting a car will be convenient. The house is slightly older but very neat and clean. The host is very friendly, and we also made delicious soba noodles for us in the new year. We will come again next time we come to Okinawa ^ _ ^

I will highly recommend Yukiko’s place if you have / rent a car in Okinawa. I stayed there with 2 family members and we enjoyed it so much. The apartment is very spacious and fully equipped with some cozy homey touches. Each of us had our own bed but the apartment can apparently host a bigger family. They even provide baby craddle! My sister especially like the garden swing chair in the balcony. Communication and check in with Yukiko were easy. Very hassle free. The location was also easy to be found on google map. Just one thing to watch out when you plan your trip... It’s my first time to Okinawa and did not realize the island is THAT big. We had to drive about an hour to different spots on the island. So just make sure if this location is convenient for you. The location described in the listing is accurate and you can have a look :)

Yukiko's place is fantastic. It is a complete apartment on the second level of a three-story house. Kitchen, private bathroom and shower, balcony, two bedrooms that are perfect for couple with kids, and a wrap around sofa which was one of the best things we experienced during our trip to Japan. One could also go up to the roof top which has a great view of the ocean, but since it was rainy and windy during our January stay, the rooftop doesn't have the amenities shown in the listing. Again, this is considered winter time in Okinawa, you wouldn't want to be up there for a long time anyways. About the location, we didn't have a car, so it is bus 20/120 to Naha to the south, and Aquarium(transfer to 65/66 bus at Nago) to the north. This is perfectly doable. The apartment is about 6 minutes walk from either "Seragaki beach mae" stop or Seragaki stop. It is a 90 minute ride either direction, and will set you back 1500 yen per adult. So if you have a large group, renting a car is probably better. But again, public bus was perfectly fine for us. And we used Okinawa bus passes to save money. There are several restaurants nearby, make sure you check the business hours on google map. Overall, we had a great time in Yukiko's place. Having visited Tokyo and Osaka prior to Okinawa, this place had that serene rural feeling to it.

I used it for two nights with my family and friends including two children. If there are 7 people [2 are preschoolers], it is the perfect size for betting. It was good to buy at a supermarket with a mountain and cook at home, or to relax at a pub around Motobu-cho. The ocean view was great, but the night sky was great too!

Kaeru-ya is a wonderful place to stay at. The place is very clean and well maintained, we had no difficulties looking for the things we needed. The place is also very cosy and quiet, makes it perfect for a good rest after a long day out. Also, Naoya is a very friendly and responsive host. Despite our late check-in, he greeted us at the door when we arrived, and he very promptly responded to our questions on the Airbnb messaging system. Highly recommended! Would definitely stay here again if we are coming back to Okinawa.

We stayed with four families at the end of the year. Since the children are only 1 and 4 years old and small, it was good to have a flat room or futon. In addition, I bought Okinawa soba and soba, vegetables and meat at a supermarket and enjoyed cooking. I lent a rice cooker and it was a help for children who love rice. At a bakery in Nago, I was able to eat a lot of the bread I bought in the morning with a toaster. Thank you for preparing a toaster. Lots of laundry could be hung and there was detergent. About the place location: - It's around 1,5 hours away from the main city (Naha). - Just 30 minutes from there you have lot's of different places to visit (the main natural park in the north of Okinawa or the Aquarium) - It totally worths the trip. - It has a VERY large parking spot :) About the house: - It's an all in one open space. - Quite big for Japanese standards. - The beds are quite comfortable. They are soft surface beds. - It has a nice porch to stay outside.

Cozy place perfect for a couple. The dome shaped structure is a must experience. Location is remote so a car will be needed to access local commercial buildings such as market. Ocean view amazing.

I was very quiet near the sea

It is a nice, clean accomodation with all the basic necessity provided eg Cooking utensils, Bath Towels, Toiletries. You dont need to bring your own! On a side note, for a couple stay with 2 queen size bed, the place is a bit squeezy.

The stay at the dome was very unique. The room was spacious and comfortable for just the two of us. Everything inside was rather new since it opened only since last year I believe. The location is away from the city and you need a car to come here and It’s free parking. It’s very peaceful here and the sea is just in front of the dome. We enjoyed strolling around the neighbourhood.

Location is a bit far away from town and is a little hard to find but soon as you arrive, it's so relax and quiet with great ocean view. Kitchen facilities is well equipped, nice and clean. Only one bathroom that may not perfect for too many people to stay. Wifi is fast, big TV and bed is comfortable. Sofa is a bit worn out and not so comfort. Free Parking is included but have to careful to drive through the narrow road in the dark. Apart from the perfect ocean view, it only takes short 10 minutes to walk down to the beach. No walking distance to any convenience store or shopping, better to buy food and drink from elsewhere first. Highly recommended to this location like a resort place if you prefer to stay quiet and relax, it feels like home. Thank you host

It was just a day when every day was touching!

The staff was male, so I wondered what to do if she was a slick person, but she was very gentle and relaxed, and she was very calm. Amenity was the first key point. I love aroma, so I enjoyed a lot of scents (even those who are not good at aroma are fine! Also, there was a referee in the bath and I enjoyed the massage. As convenience store and restaurant were near, it was convenient when it was the use by car. Welcome juice and yogurt, thank you!

Outstanding place for us. I liked the wooden exterior and interior of the house very much:) There were so many spices and sauces for cooking in the kitchen! Though I felt little bit cold in the evening, they've got air conditioner and heater every room!

The location of the house is not very easy to find, keeping it super cool! There are all kinds of facilities, and there are toys for children. There is also a barbecue stove. Although we only had two people, we enjoyed a delicious buffet barbecue. Highly recommended for large families!

BEAUTIFUL CABIN. I can't emphasize this enough, it is very rustic, very gorgeous and the location is amazing too, right in the heart of lush greenery. Very up and coming, with quite a few constructions ongoing in the vicinity, but they weren't too annoying. I stayed upstairs with very sick views however as I am very fat it was difficult to climb up the steep stairs, but it's ok.

There is a beautiful beach snorkeling spot near the house bar. It is suitable for a good stay in the middle and north of the country. If you are a person who likes to take a leisurely pace, you will never let the disappointment of the landlord enthusiasm. Although this time we are in English Poor Japanese is also poor but will be very serious about every place in the house. It feels serious and warm to receive a great stay. It was a nice room with a very clean feeling. The dryer was broken with only cold air, but it was late at night. I was impressed with the quick and polite response.

The house is close to the acquarium. We can go back to the house taking a break in the afternoon and back to the acquarium. Best place for the acquarium trip.

The inn is wonderful. No complaints. It is close to two izakaya, one yakiniku, one café, and a convenience store within walking distance.

The house is beautiful and the beds are soft and sleepy. But the stairs up and down the stairs are a bit noisy (probably because the stairs are old and easy to make sound). The kitchen facilities are quite complete, that is, there are not enough pairs of chopsticks (we are 11 people). The night is very quiet. If you want to have supper for about two minutes, there is a convenience store. The overall accommodation experience is very good and quite good value, if you have the next opportunity, you will want to bring your family to stay ~

[Latest facilities that make life easier] Of course, we have facilities that make it easy to live, as well as an ocean view! The kitchen is easy to cook on the island kitchen and there is no trouble! In the morning, we had a nice coffee while watching the sea! [Cheap and wide] Stopped by two people, but it is enough to accommodate families with children. [I spent a week in northern Okinawa] The best location for sightseeing, I went around the northern part of Okinawa main island!

We were very lucky to find Toko’s place for our four day stay in Nakijin. It is such a beautiful area and the house was perfect to explore. Toko gave us lots of great local tips and made it very easy for us to look after our small children (3yr old and 5 month old). We didn’t have great weather but the house stayed warm and cosy. The kitchen has everything cook meals and we bought delicious local vegetables from the market. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Toko-San

Very comfortable staying experience, traditional buildings let us know more about the living habits of Okinawa. If driving, the location is close to the aquarium, Nakijin Ancient City, and Nago City.

It is a house that renovated an old private house stylishly. The building was of course old, but the rooms were very clean. I was prepared for insects, but it wasn't at all a concern because of the seasonal pattern. After checking out the Churaumi Aquarium within a few minutes by car, I was able to enter the building immediately after opening, in an uncongested time. The surroundings were very quiet and I was able to spend a very slow time.

A good little house

I was taken care of for one week. It was a beautiful space with a nostalgic feeling, remake of an old Okinawan house. Because of the kitchen facilities, I could go to a supermarket or a store that sells products close by car and cook myself. Bananas were in the garden and the tropical plants that grew well were also good. I was really excited about the owner's shell collection. I would like to take care of you if you have the opportunity.

I loved my stay at Toshiyuki's- plenty of space, really clean, and liked that it was a stand alone property in its own grounds. It felt like Toshiyuki loves the property and has styled it with a real artist's eye. I would love to stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone staying in this part of Okinawa.

House and room where you can enjoy the atmosphere of Ishigaki Island. I felt relaxed in the time, and I was healed by a warm space like nostalgia.

Erika's parents were incredibly welcoming and hospitable! The mattress and pillow were the best I had while staying on Ishigaki, and the room is clean and quiet as well. The facilities are somewhat aged, but clean and functioning, so no issues there. The kitchen is more of a kitchenette, but it's sufficient for simple things. The place is a brisk 20 minute walk from the center, the bus only goes about once per hour. However, there are many restaurants and a large supermarket in close proximity. Highly recommended!

It was a very nice hotel with a kind hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Erika's place ! The hosts live on the ground floor. They were very welcoming ad so nice with us. They truly made us feel at home ! Even is their English is not perfect we had no problem of communication. The "AirBnb part" of the home is on the first floor. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms for AirBnb guests, 1 shower (to share with other guests), toilets (to share with other guests), and 1 small kitchen (with 1 micro-wave, 1 hot-plate and some cookware and dishes) which is very convenient to have dinner. We could also enjoy a big terrace to have breakfast and to hang up our laundry. We found the bed very comfortable. It's located 20min by foot from the port/city center which is not the most convenient but there is a big supermarket open 24/24 at 1min of walking so we had dinner in the house. Erika's mother offered several times to take us to the port by car. We would stay there again with no doubt ! Thank you very much for your hospitality !

Cosy japanese home. The place is a little difficult to find but it is just beside a big dirt parking lot near a pharmacy. Erika's mother was super warm and welcoming even though we couldn't speak japanese. House was clean and duvet was very comfortable! The location was pretty good if you're driving as it's near the town area.

The room, bathroom and toilet were clean and easy to spend anywhere. Also, the owner was very kind and wanted to come back again. It was the first time but it was a nice place to feel comfortable.

Reina’s place is super clean and spacious and can easily sleep up to 8 people. She was very prompt and clear in her communications - she gave clear directions to her place and even provided us with a list of recommended sights and restaurants and other useful information like the nearest supermarkets. She even went out of her way to lead us to the supermarket. Note that the property is double storey so it may not be suitable for less mobile travellers.

Reina is a very attentive lady. When we first arrived in Okinawa to check into her house, I couldn't find slippers. Then I asked her where to put slippers? She gently told me that she did not provide slippers there, and then she asked me if you need slippers? I replied that she was busy and took the time to buy slippers and gave them to us! It really touched us! The customs of each country are different, so when I need it, Reina quickly meets my requirements, and I see that she has a strong sense of service! There is a big supermarket near Reina's house, which is very convenient! In addition, it is very convenient to travel. It only takes 25 minutes to drive to the center of Naha, 30 minutes to the outlet, and 2 hours to the Ocean Park. There is also a Yuquan cave nearby to visit! Great Party House!!

The owner is very attentive and helps to prepare delicious Wagyu beef. The hostel environment is quiet and well-equipped.

We visited Okinawa and stayed in the beautiful house for two nights. It's perfectly furnished and have everything we need. The house owner was so helpful and seemed to be always there when we need help. It's a wonderful experience, I'll come back and recommend the place for sure!

It's just a little far away, one hour away from the airport, be sure to travel by car, the house is on a hillside

The house is on top of a hill all by itself. Definitely can be loud as no one else around. Rooms mostly have two doubles pushed together. Upstairs loft is good for the kids, but coming down can be a little gnarly. Main bath is large with an on-demand water heater, which means no running out of hot water even with a large family. TV had an Unblock box, which meant channels from all over the world. Multiple wifi networks to accommodate everyone’s devices. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment and huge table for big families. Beach at the bottom of the hill was great for our small kids to play in the water. Located right in between the two largest cities. Car recommended but it is a five minute walk to the public bus stop. Nearby Rizzan resort has a very reasonable buffet. Highly recommend for groups with multiple families. Yota is readily accessible on WhatsApp if there are any issues.

It’s a beautiful house on the hill. V spacious & can make noise esp with kids! Yota was a fab hosts. Do get car rental from him really fuss- free! And many things are flexible with him. Will strongly recommend big family’s to stay there. I vote Yota as super host!

Great house

The location and property are accurately described. Yota was super prompt in responding to my queries all the time. He was very sweet to help me get a wheelchair for my father in law and provided umbrellas as it was raining. The ground floor bedroom was a bonus for my parents in law who had difficulty walking and climbing the stairs. The children loved the attic bedroom. It was their private sanctuary. The kitchen is very well equipped. We had shabu shabu for dinner for one of the nights and Lawson is just a short drive away. The space is pretty big for a family of 10. All of us have our own private space. The kids had no ssues with the wifi even at the attic. Overall a pleasant stay for all of us for 5 nights.

Koharu’s place is comfy, spacious, and well equipped. There is also hot spring near by. The little shop across the street have all you need and staffs are friendly. We had a great time here.

The room was 3LDK and the room was spacious and comfortable, as two couples rarely used two rooms. The age of the apartment was short and the appearance and rooms were very beautiful. In particular, it is not too much to say that the condition of the room, the furniture and the bed, etc., are as good as those of a hotel, as well as the usual care. The gas dryer was easy even after returning because the laundry of the day dries quickly. In Okinawa it seems common to rent a car and it was fun to drive a little distance from the airport. It was very close to Kokusai Street and was able to play until late at night. Although it was a stay with a large number of people, the size was enough and I could travel comfortably.

I was able to enjoy Naha's stay very spacious and reasonable. I also want to use it if I have the opportunity.

Good for families with baby!

My parents, my aunt (3 minutes 60s), my husband and me (30s), and a 7-year-old girl stayed for two days. On the 2nd floor there is a living room with 1 room, 1 bathroom, TV and sofa. On the 1st floor there are 2 rooms, 1 bathroom, tatami room (open space, no door, good for kids to play), spacious kitchen, There is a dining table. My parents and my aunt used the first floor, and our couple wrote the second floor. The stairs going up and down were safe because the nets fell. Each room and living room has air conditioning, and we were very warm with the heating. I was so happy that he said there were no dishes or anything without parents, and I really liked my child. I did not enter the sea because I traveled in winter, but the sea is really close and there is a restaurant open 24 hours.

Highly recommended. If you are going to stay in Okinawa, stay here

Tatami is not a room it was an open area, other then that was just like the photos, clean , nice home decorations, big house, near to the beach, every things is good

As a touristy Island, Okinawa hotels can be quite expensive. However this house provided our family a nice sea view and an amazing interior in a reasonable price. The host provide us a very detailed guide before our arrival and it turned out to be very helpful. They check in and check out is as easy as it gets, so don’t worry about any extra fuss about booking this house. Household amenities such as toothbrushes, towels and cleaning detergent are also provided, so there is no need to bring your own. The space is very spacious and well maintained, and it can easily fit our family of 5. Overall we can’t be more happy about our stay and we highly recommend this house coming to Okinawa.

One of the best places I have ever stayed at from Airbnb! The place is located right by the sea, got great parking space on premise, sparkling clean interior, abundance of amenities and complimentary snacks and drinks for guests as well!

I used it on my university graduation trip. Location, scenery, amenities were all the best. Especially the scenery was ocean view, which was more than expected. I felt that it was good to be able to do BBQ on the rooftop. I also want to use it when I come to Okinawa.

The bbq place you bring everything...food ,... drink upstairs.so consider if you are very lazy 😅😅😅😅. ... oh but the bbq place 3/f have a glass house as well ....bit like a euro warm place to relax and nice ... very very special and nice !! The house is very convenient to go to the center of Okinawa. The house kitchen is fully equipped, and the sea view is cooking without special flavors. The key landlord is very enthusiastic. I have asked the place numerous times to help us navigate. I really appreciate it ... I hope to have a chance next time Come again.

This house is so luxury and stylish. Great location with awesome sea view. Absolutely has everything you need. We were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the house and loved the design of the place. Mechan was very kind and welcoming, provided us with a lot of information about nearby supermarket and itinerary suggestions. Great communication- the pre-departure information was very clear and informative. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends who are visiting Okinawa!

Correspondence was quick, too and was reservation of the day before, but was able to stay in peace. The room was clean and I was relieved to have small children. I saw a review that the parking was far away, but it wasn't an interesting distance for me. However, as for the noise, it was like ... I think that if you are a little sleepy, bring an eye mask and earplugs to make it even more comfortable!

Location 10 minute walking from Kokusaidori. There is a free parking space available but had to walk a bit. We had a bit of a problem when we arrived as the parking space was occupied by another unknown car. As soon as the host found out about the situation, he quickly came by and apologised. The next day, the host put a cone on the then empty parking space. The accommodation itself is a 3 story building with steep stairs. Overall, we loved the location of the place and the kind host.
