Everything was great in this very comfortable space. The upstairs is very private with a comfortable bed and nice separate bathroom. It also has a separate sitting, family room area. Very friendly and the host was extremely helpful with logistics. They even provided breakfast food.

Highly recommended. comfortable, clean room, privacy, and excellent reception from Mari and Ramon (and precious perritas). Breakfast included very good. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day! It's a tad away from the center but ideal if you are driving, as parking in the center is a mess.

We have spent some amazing days with Moncho and Mary. We have been treated as if we were part of their family and this is appreciated and note, they help you in every possible way. All great, spacious and warm room, full breakfast. The house is away on foot about 25 minutes from downtown, is a walk, the marquee of the bus is 20m from home, and the bus runs every 15 minutes here. When we come back from Santiago, we repeat. After walking for weeks through northern Spain on the Camino, arriving at this lovely little apartment was such a treat. The room was quiet and cosy, the bathroom lovely and clean, and the breakfast beautiful. The hosts were so kind to make sure we had everything we needed, and helped us to navigate the bus system so we could go out and about. Would highly recommend this lovely place!

The room is completely private and extremely comfortable. The shower is super rich. Simple but good breakfast. Moncho and Mary both did their best to make us feel at home. Moncho not always gave advice on what to do in the region and in the best restaurants to eat. Mary is a crazy (her words) old always laughing and good humor. Both were always available for any questions that we had. The house is located 10 minutes by car from the center of Santiago and has parking which is very handy because in Santiago parking lots are hard to get and expensive at the same time. The nights are very quiet but there is a rooster at dawn heralding the arrival of the sun. There are two small dogs (white and rumba) both are very tender and loving and sometimes up to give you good morning.

Nuria communicated well before our arrival and Nuria's father welcomed us to the home. The room is one of two AirBnb rooms in their home and was very clean and comfortable. Hot water was great, Nuria's father had fruit and some biscuits/pastries for breakfast for us each day. We hung out with Nuria's parents one night and it was very enjoyable! Line 5 bus from the bus station or downtown, bus stop is 30sec from the front door.

We were very excited to be visiting Santiago, and found this room to be very accessible to the area. We had a car, which we parked at the Hippocur parking lot, and took a taxi up to de Compostela from there. The room itself was clean, with a firm bed, which is what I prefer. Monica was very accommodating when I asked her if she could launder two loads of clothing. She even ironed my husband's shirts, which was a total surprise for only 10euros! Conversation was limited due to our ignorance in speaking Spanish, but with the help of a translating app that Monica used, and my husbands poor attempt to speak Spanish, we got by. I highly recommend this airbnb listing.

I haven't seen Nuria, The parents of Nuria received me, they are really kind and helpful people... --------------------------- Bad: it's 3 kilometers from the city center, you can only take the bus to get there. Fortunately, there is a bus station near the house, about every 20 minutes comes one bus( line 5) that takes you to the city center. ----------------- Suggestion: I have downloaded an application called MAISBUS, (a application about the bus information of Santiago, which tells you the closest bus station from you, how many minutes you have to wait for the next bus, all the bus lines etc), really useful... In all, I have had a really good time in Nuria's house, recommended!!

Mari's house corresponds exactly to the description. It's very comfortable and ideal for a few days staying around Santiago. It was very easy to get to the house, and Mari was a very nice host giving us very good tips on what to visit and where to eat. Definitely recommended.

We were looking for a quiet house, outside the city and crowds but well connected, and with the beautiful house of Mari gave the spot. It is next to Milladouro, which is very easy to move both north and south of Galicia, Santiago is a short drive. We found the place immediately, since Mari had sent us the link to the coordinates and explanation of directions. It is a stone house with all facilities (including parking within the estate) and tastefully decorated with antique elements which we loved, and both Mari and her mother (who live on the top floor) are lovely and always willing to help . They even brought us a very rich pattern peppers from his garden. Mari thank you very much! If we repeat undoubtedly Galicia!

Awesome stay! Hosts are very wecoming, though not english-speaking, but we didn't have problem with it. House is about 30 minutes walking from city center, but there is a bus stop in 20 meters from the house, and the bus isn't so expensive (1 euro). There are two small dogs in the house, and they are very cute. Also hosts offered us nice breakfast and home-grown vegetables. I really enjoyed the stay.

I didn't meet Nuria in person but the communication was seamless. She answered all my questions very quickly. The room is in her parent's house. They are very nice and they do everything to make you feel at home. Breakfast is included and you can use the kitchen. They offer additional services such as laundry or bring you to the airport (reasonable additional charge). I definitely recommend Nuria and her parent's as hosts. The house is a bit outside the city (3km to the cathedral) but there is a bus stop right in front of the house and one way only costs 1€.

The place was as advertised on the airbnb website. An older lady met us to show the apartment; she spoke only Spanish, very fast but we communicated with gestures and the like. We had asked for a bus schedule into the city; none was provided but she took us to the local stop and some locals there showed us the posted schedule. The walk into town is OK at 25 minutes but it is all uphill. However, the walk back is easier.

It is the first experience I have for Airbnb who do not intend to repeat. I was in Santiago of Compostela with my parents, husband and stepson and chose this house for three special reasons, from what we saw in the pictures the announcement: the stone house is very beautiful and different from what we have in Brazil, there was the wood stove and a very nice patio. The house is really beautiful and corresponds to what the photos show, but the wood stove is only decorative (not being authorized its use) and access to the patio is not made possible (no access door, only to see the window ) nor authorized by other means. The Check-in is only allowed from 16hs, time we arrived and received a very cold house and the heating was only started to 20h. We spent too cold. Heating was not enough in any of the days of our hosting. There is a very good supermarket very close, but that does not open on Sundays. As the house is significantly distant from the center it can be an inconvenience.

Yago is a friendly host. The room is quiet, and rather recommend for people traveling alone rather than couples because firstly, the arrangement into two single beds does not sleep two, and also one of the beds is rather an extra bed. Positive: the nice breakfast!

Jaime and Ana are exceptional hosts in closeness, attention, welcome. The room (and the house) is actually much higher than described. It is perfect in every way: comfort, design ... The area is rural, which allows walks roads, forests and beautiful villages nearby. Santiago communication with public transport (20 minutes walk to the bus stop) is common.

Jaime was a great host. We enjoyed talking learning about Spain from Jaime and Pepa have a very nice and comfortable house. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. The bathroom was beautifully clean as well. Jaime helped us to learn a lot about the area and even helped us with travel. Pepa was very friendly as well.

House, guest room, bathroom and everything else is splendidly maintained and clean. A beautiful place to take a rest after walking the Camino Portuguese. Jaime and Peppa are very welcoming of guests and will offer their help where possible. Communicating with Jaime feels a bit uncomfortable when you deviate from his schedule; something which is bound to happen when you're on vacation. Other than that, we recommend staying here.

Jamie's and Pepa's home is probably the nicest that we have stayed in out of over a dozen places we have enjoyed. Jaime and Pepa are such a delightful couple and they made us as welcome as if we were family. We would love to stay there again. The location suited us perfectly for visiting by car Santiago de Compostela and the surrounding areas of Galicia, including Fisterra and the Cascada de Ezaro. We loved the way the house is furnished, with its interesting artefacts from all around the world; the stimulating conversations at breakfast time; and the dogs, Tron and Betty - though, if you are not an animal lover, you need not come into contact with the dogs at all.

Guests are outstanding people with usability and availability. we spent a great time and were very well advised.

Casa Rita is located on the Camino de Santiago, and is very convenient for those who have already completed their journey and wants a few days to relax in the hospitable home in a friendly atmosphere. The house is located in a green area 2 minutes walk from the center of the window goroda.Vid directly to Catedral away. And Rita prepares breakfasts absolutely wonderful.

This airbnb was unlike any I've been to. When I reserved it, I had no idea it was going to be in a house where the family was there. I was in touch with Rita a couple of days before my flight, letting her know what time my flight got in and how I would take a taxi to the house. She insisted I take the bus to city center and she would pick me up in her car. The bus was 3€ compared to a taxi fair of 20-25€. Her and her family welcomed me into their home with big hearts, feeding me more than ever. We took a trip to Isla to Arousa (an island about 45 min away) and it was breath taking! The stay was wonderful here and I encourage anyone interested in staying in Santiago de Compostela to rent the private room from Rita.

Rita was a marvellous host! She made us wonderful breakfasts, delicious pastel de Santiago! Also, great travel advice! Her house is in a quiet rural area directly on the path of the Camino, about a 20 minute walk through a lovely forest and then city to the cathedral.

We loved this property. It was stylish but comfortable with a high specification. All amenities were provided and the pool was wonderful. Bus nearby to get into Santiago but a car is probably a necessary requirement to take advantage of the beautiful Galacian coast and countryside. We would highly recommend this property and although we did not meet our host, Fabiola she was always on hand to respond to us by email.
