Ruuk Village was great! One can relax here well, kitesurfing but also many trips and in a great cozy service. Gladly again!

Perfect! We got picked up by boat with our trolley, and suitcases.

We have just returned from the trip to Sri Lanka, which began right at Ruuk Village, a beautiful place, totally immersed in nature, Roshan was extremely available both before departure and during their stay while remaining in touch with his staff, we have prepared some great breakfasts and dinners and organized the excursion by boat to see the dolphins. What else to say, if you want a place totally immersed in nature with friendly and attentive staff, you are in the right place.

Food was very good, the team is perfect, helpful, funny, ...! Beautiful property, quiet location! Were really excited! Those seeking peace, relaxation after a round trip addiction is the place to go! - Unfortunately goes into the water from the Cabana is not so easy as you in the lagoon directly should not bathe (muddy and was also discouraged us) therefore man must be the boat to another beach (5 min 650Rs) and a ceiling fan was missing unfortunately (electricity and wifi is only available from 18.30-23:00 clock)! But that's OK!

An amazingly beautiful space. Completely calm, quiet and serene. Gamagi and Shahan were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. It was slightly pricey with regard to dinners compared to anywhere else I have stayed but the food was delicious and the experience itself makes it worth it. The cabins are beautifully done and the outdoor shower is the best I have had in Sri Lanka so far. The solar powered wifi is also the quickest I have experienced here. I didn't kite surf but the instructor is extremely knowledgable and passionate about his sport so you would be in great hands. I would definitely stay here again for the peace and quiet and relaxing sunsets.

Ruuk village is the perfect place to arrive, runterzufahren and disable. the whole place is built and furnished with loving attention to detail. after two days Ruuk village I myself felt so relaxed as usually weeks after two holidays. The cabanas are simple but I've never slept so well in Sri Lanka. keep it simple! like its slogan says. the hammocks invite you to linger. the locals on the spot do a great job, are always friendly and try an all wish to meet, and always with a smile. The food is delicious. authentic. (Ok. May not be quite as sharp as they would cook it for yourself ;-) The highlight for me as a solo traveler? that all guests eat together at a big table! anyway it's very informal and forth here. Come as a guest, leave as a friend. here is lived! what is daniel line with its kitestation here simply great. he also always has an open ear for the wishes of our guests. He is a brilliant, competent instructor of his job with much passion exerts. overall I was three weeks in Ruuk village and I felt very well. I can this place even for non kiter and unaccompanied recommend. for me an absolutely magical place I will definitely visit again!

this was the perfect place to stay and we would come back any time. nice, peacefull, quiet, very clean and in the middle of the nature. must be perfect for kite surfing but as we are not into surfing we enjoyed walks at the beach and the lagoon! the food was the best we have had in sri lanka. the stuff was so nice and we had very nice talks! this was our last stop of our jurney and we got married here in ruuk village. it was just the way we hoped it would be. thanks to everyone again!

Staying here was a wonderful and unique experience. The food was great, the place was untouched and beautiful, and there was one plenty to do, although we opted to just chill! You are definatly out in the elements staying here, so be prepared!

We (a family of 7 adults and a toddler) had a great stay over 2 nights here. The villa is spacious, clean and tastefully renovated, with a great pool and surrounding area outside. The highlight for us was the outdoor courtyard with a large table where we all gathered to hang out and have meals. The food was fresh and delicious and Janaka (ie Rajitha) is a gracious and generous host. We would happily stay here again….

The first successful experience of B & B, very clean room, we are a total of four houses, three public toilets, very spacious. Design is very characteristic of Sri Lanka, but unfortunately did not see the director. I am most pleased that the butler and the rest of the family's enthusiasm. Children free play experience for cooking, in short, want to experience the life of recommended Lanka!

"We stayed for four days at Serene Villa which is a gorgeous place, with a perfect pool surrounded by beautiful flowers. The garden is amazing when you love walking around to watch birds, butterflies and nature in general. The food was really good and we couldn’t thank our host Janaka enough for helping us out when we couldn’t get on the plane we planned to. He picked us up around 6:00 am and brought us back to the house were we enjoyed a lot of rest to the next evening when we did leave Sri Lanka. He really did everything he could to make us feel at home. We would definitely come back to his place when we would visit Sri Lanka again, it’s close to the airport and perfect if you just arrived after a long plane flight or when you come back from the rainforest and just need some rest before eventually returning home."

Rajitha and his wife are really kind. If you like to meet people, socialize and learn about the local culture they are the perfect hosts. Rajitha knows everything about the things to do around Negombo and will happily help you to book a driver or even drive you around ! The villa is very comfortable and the owner/staff are very kind and always willing to help. The hearty and delicious breakfast prepared by Rajitha will give you a taste of the Sri Lankan food with some mangos, coconuts and pineapples that grow in the plantations surrounding the villa ! Rajitha Janaka is a very nice and lovely person. He's really helpful person. The staff is talented and pleasant. They gave us a lot of good advices. The house is splendid and charming. Very relax place to stay. We recommend this place. The surroundings are nice and Negombo (the beach) and the airport are close.

We stayed with our family (3 kids) for 3 nights at this charming villa with pool (!) in Negombo. It was a super nice experience and best start of our Sri Lanka trip! The owner is very friendly and helpful, he even helped us getting our bags back quickly (via a friend at the airport) when they didn't arrive at Colombo airport in the first place.. The staff is lovely and the food delicious.. The coconut plantation and pond behind the villa is beautiful and nice to explore for a morning walk. With a Tuk Tuk you can explore Negombo (15 min) or just stay at 'home' to get into the Sri Lanka spirit as you will feel home quickly...

A private, secluded getaway in the midst of an old-fashioned coconut plantation. The deco at Janaka's place really transported us to a calming Sri Lankan atmosphere. Aside from that, can't tell which the best part is - the pool, the location or the amazing southern food & hospitality. Great experience! The place is totally pet friendly. Came with 2 dogs and a cat - the three of them had a blast. Janaka's crew were very loving and accommodating. (However, Sri Lanka generally has a lot of ticks especially in brush - so travel safe!)

An absolute Gentleman from the moment we arrived. Had an amazing time and was treated as a long lost friend. You could not find a happier person to be around. Had some fantastic food made for us, the pool is great, the gardens are beautiful. The land goes on for miles, coconut trees, two ponds a friendly dog and two cats, we even milked a cow for milk in the morning. Could not be happier, Thank you so so much for having stay with you. We had an amazing time with Arjuna and his family. The house is beautiful, relaxing and very clean and the food prepared by the chef is some of the best we had in Sri Lanka! Lots of wildlife to be seen around the property, such as birds, chipmunks and fireflies, and we had a lovely evening looking at the stars in the perfectly clear sky on our last night. The house is in a lovely peaceful location away from the busy Kandy and is a chance to see a real Sri Lankan village and working tea plantation. We visited the local shops and a government run weaving factory which was interesting. You can easily get the local bus to Kandy, which is cheap and a lot of fun, and Arjuna organises drivers for trips further afield such as Sigiriya and Minneriya etc. We very much hope to return some day or catch up with you in London! The photos of Arjuna's place were spot-on! The location of their place was breathtakingly beautiful and the room we were given was both spacious and spotless with a lovely en suite bathroom. We loved the open plan of their elegant house and the artistic way in which their garden and swimming pool had been laid out. We appreciated having breakfast as a family seated at a table by the pool and dinner indoors with our hosts - it was a lovely arrangement and the food was absolutely delicious! My husband Paul loved playing with their pet dog Panda and I enjoyed sitting on a deck chair in the patio sketching the dramatic scenery while our two children had loads of fun in the pool.

We thought you might get off here, so here we are …“NOTHING would comfort two exhausted foreign travelers more than a warm picking up like this. Feeling of frustrating from standing on the rail track in front of a small station in Sri Lanka suddenly turned into a feeling of gratitude. It was really a big surprise. You can see “beautiful”, “amazing”, “kind” from other guests’ comments; well, besides all of that I want to add “Professional”. Arjuna spend some of his career time as a hotel manger in Europe, he surely knows how to make his guests feel comfortable in every each way. We had a very relaxing and wonderful time, starting our Sri Lanka travel at Arjuna's place. He was so nice picking us up from the airport, which my friend and i really appreciated. As a host, he and his wife are present, but in a very subtle way - so ist was very easy to acclimate. Waking up at this beautiful place in the middle of an amazing landscape was as great, as the breakfast and dinner have been - changing each day, and each day very very tasty ! We felt very welcome and really enjoyed the Talks and time with Arjuna's wife Zani and the friendly dog Panda. Arjuna arranged us a Tuk Tuk driver and helped us plan our further trip ! So i can't say anything else about it than : Very very recommandable ! Thanks a lot for having us in your house !!!

Absolutely stunning grounds!.. beautiful pool area and gardens surrounding. Room is very comfortable and nicely designed. Food and service is excellent. Arjuna and Zanne are lovely people and made our stay special. This property is one hour out from Kandy, wonderful getaway but not close enough to explore Kandy easily if that's what you want. Would highly highly recommend!!

Arjuna and his wife were very accommodating and made our stay very special. The room was very neat and clean, as well as the garden and the beautiful pool area. From the food to the common table, to the independent coffee roasting, review and explanation of the surrounding growing plants and fruit everything was there. The food was prepared every day fresh and traditional and very tasty. The hosts got to eat with the fingers, which is with rice & curry so common in Sri Lanka. On the whole, one can say who wants to visit Kandy and looking for a quiet place outside the city, is here at the right place. Thanks for the Arjuna unforgettable Visitors! We spent the first two nights of our Sri Lanka trip at Arjuna and could not have had a better start of the journey. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel immediately at ease. A beautiful, secluded house with a large spice / orchard, through which we were led by Arjuna. The perfect place to arrive in Sri Lanka!

The room is gorgeous, clean and comfortable scented with nice aroma. I was really happy to be warmly welcomed by the hosts. Talking with them is one the most memorable moments for me. The breakfast and the dinner was so tasty that I enjoyed them very much! A great experience staying at Aaryya's house. The best airbnb I have ever stayed. The place is exactly the same as the picture. Very spacious living room and dining room with stylish decoration. The bedroom is comfortable and the toilet is clean. The Sri Lankan breakfast is delicious. I also ordered dinner there with a reasonable price. The best thing is the hospitality of Aaryya. I much enjoyed the talk with her. Highly recommended!

This house is beautiful and really amazing to stay in. We hired bikes to ride to the ancient city, which was quite far and a big day riding. Luckily we got really well looked after at home and we were treated to a really good breakfast, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka.

Our stay with Aarya has been the high point of our stay in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with the most beautiful soothing scents of Cinnamon. There isn't room here to list the adjectives that would do justice to the bedroom and Aarya's beautiful home. They are quite simply....... SUPERLATIVE. As a host, Aarya deserves her status as 'super host', in fact she exceeds it by a mile. To say that she is hospitable, attentive, genuinely interested in her guests, generous and accommodating - is an understatement. See for yourself. This is Airbnb at its finest. Aarya's place is a private sanctuary at the heart of Anuradhapura. A couple of minutes drive from the heritage sites the mansion offers luxurious and spacious rooms with teak and mahogany furniture. The garden has an assortment of tropical fruit and flowery plants. (If foraging for food is your past time then try the coconut and jackfruit !). An excellent place if you would like to unwind during your holidays.

Wonderfull house with wonderful staff, ideally located to end a Sri Lanka holiday. Excellent cooking! Few mosquitos! The clean beach is right across the - quiet - street, Negombo about 20 Min by tuktuk. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The value for money is incredible.

Ravi has a perfect house with beautiful furniture , collections and yard. It is very close to the beach. We had very good breakfast and traditional Sri Lanke dinner. We really enjoy the time when we stayed there. His staffs are very nice and helpful. I twiested my foot on the last day. They helped me a lot and gave me an unguent. Only regret is that we stayed there only two days. Hope I can have chance to go there again.

We had a wonderfull two weeks stay at the house.The place was as discribed,surrounded by friendly neighbours - all local people, calm and perfect for people who want to relax.The food was delicious. Every day we had sri lankan meals always new ingrediances.Ravi was very helpfull at organising sightseeing trips. We deceided to come backnext year.

My husband and I spent 12 days at this lovely home in September 2015. Even before we arrived, Ravi was amazing! I had originally booked our stay but then had to cancel. Then last minute, our plans changed and I was able to rebook. Ravi was so kind as to refund the original cancelation fee. Before and during our stay, she was in touch with me daily recommending places to visit, eat and answering all my questions. She even went so far as to book additional nights at two alternate locations we were visiting during our stay. Ravi’s mother met us at the airport with a driver. Her mother is Sri Lankan and was just a lovely lady. She was wonderful answering all our questions, setting up our stay and arranging meals with the house staff. The home itself is beautiful. The house, as well as the private pool and grounds, were clean and well maintained. We swam in the pool daily. And I was extremely grateful for the air condition in our bedroom! There was a night guard on duty each evening and a housekeeper who stayed at the residence during our visit. She was very sweet and helpful; cooking our meals (if we wanted), ordering delivery or calling for our transportation. Although someone is always present, we had the second and third floor to ourselves for privacy. Oh..and there is a washing machine which was extremely helpful. The location of the home was nice. It is directly across the street from the beach. You can see and hear the ocean all day and night. However, we only visited the beach once. This area had a lot of fisherman and, unfortunately, the beach was very dirty and littered with trash. The beaches down south are more beautiful and clean. There were a few good restaurants in town as well as a local market we visited. Other than that, there isn’t much to do in town. We did take a couple of days and visited Fort Galle, Yala National Park for a safari and took the train form Colombo to Haputale were we stayed in the most amazing place atop a mountain…Viharagala Bungalow. Which, by the way, was suggested, booked and arranged by Ravi before we arrived. It was incredibly beautiful!! I would highly recommend at least a day or two there. So if you are looking for a quiet, private, clean, relaxing, nice place to stay while in Sri Lanka…we recommend you contact Ravi and book a stay at her lovely home.

My family and I stayed at the house both in the beginning and end of our vacation to Sri Lanka. The house is very luxurious and Ravi's mother was so kind and helped arranging tour's and even came along two days to show us around. We absolutely loved it and we can definitely recommend staying there.

First of all: location away from Negombo some slightly away but quiet hardware: in the local super-luxurious villa, 3 rooms we stayed two, entire house to our software: to take care of the house is very good father and daughter duo, Butler never have the feeling, much better than the hotel services added: kitchen area has 50 flat, facility-wide, we fish market to buy seafood in the kitchen to do their own (individual condiment comes, no local), and later also visited other kitchen, when the difference is too large, live here do their own pools are clean seafood is very good kids playing very happy

The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. The hotel has a nice small garden with a swimming poll, which is very enjoyable. The location is good and not far from Negombo beach.

Cozy hotel with great interior decoration. Nice pool and lawn in the yard. The hostess and staffs are really warm hearted and thoughtful. You can arrange your schedule easily with the help of the staffs. Excellent choice for both solo or travelling with companions. The room is really well designed whose detail makes guests feel comfortable. The food provided by the nice cook in the hotel is inexpensive but very tasty. There is still little improvement can be done with the Wifi facilities. It can be unstable sometimes.

The room was very clean and the breakfasts were amazing. Very helpful with tours around the area too.

Pavana was the first place we stayed in during our three weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka and was a great introduction to the country - and Air B n B! Our host was super helpful, the room spacious, cool and comfortable and the pool a bonus!

We had a fantastic time at this Hotel. We were traveling with our 2 year old and found the pool a great place to keep the little one entertained. The hotel is in a more quite neighbourhood not far from the beach. Do not bother eating out - the food at this place is absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend.

Firstly, Manjula is such a nice man! Very knowledgable, super friendly, relaxed and highly generous, basically the best person to introduce you to Sri Lanka! I stayed in his single room which was clean, had a fan and the bed was comfy. The toilet and washing facilities were outside (open air shower and a proper toilet in wood shed) and brand new so very clean, and I found it actually very refreshing to use. I was fortunate enough to taste Manjula's dinner one night and it was incredible, it was vegetarian and many of the ingredients grew in sight of his house. Breakfast was equally local and delicious. If you are looking to visit the ancient and wondrous Anuradhapura I would highly recommend staying with the genuine and lovely Manjula!

I loved this place, especially because Manjula and his wife are such great hosts! Upon arrival I was provided with a coconut cause I looked a but tired. Breakfast is really good and you can get a tea whenever you need one. The room as small but very clean. The bathroom is located outside and also super clean and quite new. Manjula has so much knowledge about the area and is happy to share it. Each day I was provided with a map he had drawn and instructions on where to go when, what to see and what to skip. From this place it is easy to see Anuradhapura by bike (which you can rent there as well).

Hands down the best place to stay in the area. Great place to rest, recover, and feel at home. Perfect jump off point for seeing any sites! Stay here!

Manjula is such a great host! He is so knowledgeable, I now know so much more about both buddhist and Sri Lankan culture and customs than if I hadn't stayed with him and his dear family. He was also very helpful, gave me travel advice and both picked me up and dropped me off free of charge. The room has a comfortable bed and a fan, and as mentioned in another review, the tile and washing facilities are outside with an open air shower with I loved and only added to the value. I'm so happy I stayed with Manjula and his family who was so warm and genuine, and I highly recommend you to do so to.

Manuja has very good knowledge abt the place and was very helpful in guiding me on my day's plan and itineraries. His wife Ronalyn made me feel so comfortable. The room is small, however it was very clean and tidy, perfect for budget trip. Totally recommend Manuja's place.The shower/wetroom is separate and is open (with curtain), that was a fun experience for me :).

We stayed at Manjula's place for one night and it was amazing! The room was small but very nice and clean. The bathroom is outside but we liked it very much that way. I spent 2 nights in Anais's location and it really was a good place (only 5 minutes away from the kite surf spot). In addition to be well located the staff is very friendly and you'll find everything you need on site.

We had the most amazing time at the Kite house cafe. Anais and Keira are the best hosts and they make the place so cosy and warm! We stayed in a tent house, which is basic but very comfortable!! Such a great place I would recommend to everybody! The tents are very nice and the food is amazing as well!

Anais is absolutely lovely, we had such a great time at her place. My boyfriend and I spent two nights in a tent. This place has everything you need and it's perfect to just chill and enjoy people, cats, dog and the beautiful view. Also, she's the best cook, we tried pizza, wrap and apple crumble.. so delicious! My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights here that we just loved it! One of my favorites Sri Lanka. Anais is also an excellent cook, pizza, wrap and apple crisp were absolutely delicious and cost. A quiet place where you will actually relax. In addition, two cats, dogs and the people are very nice, you will not get bored!

Всё чистенько, вся сантехника исправна, если брать тент ,а не бунгало, то туалет и душ будут общие.Без кондиционера жить вполне реально. Оч рекомендую также всем кайтерам и не только, кому надоели скучные номера в стандартных гостиницах за кучу денег .Знание английского здесь, конечно, весьма желательно=) Уезжать не хотелось и очень бы желательно вернуться) Thank's guys! )

The place was very charming and is in a fantastic location. Great feel to be staying in a working coconut farm.This is very quiet, so best to come with friends or you might feel isolated during the day. Bathrooms and rooms were very nice.

Beautiful place with amazing welcoming people not forgetting delicious food

The bungalow is completely amazing. 100% nature stay. The room is clean as well as toilet and bathroom. Even the location is far from urban area but wifi is perfect. If I have chance to go around there I definitely stay here.

We had a very nice stay in a pretty and beautifully designed bungalows. The outdoor shower is one of the highlights! The lagoon is very easy to reach on foot. Excursions or scooter can be organized by the team at good prices in resort. Go Kaiten around it has numerous Kait school offering lessons and rental equipment. Ruben was not on site, but via app always reachable and has organized everything to our satisfaction.

Ruben's bungalows are worth the stay if you are visiting Kalpitiya! We loved the outdoor shower and hammock that comes with the bungalow. Ruben is also an incredibly hospitable host: our transfer from the airport was seamless, he helped us rent a scooter for the week, and even helped us charter a boat for kitesurfing! 100% recommend this location for value!

After being in Kalpitiya stayed at guet house in which I was uncomfortable what led me to look for alternatives and that's when I found the margarita village: Ruben host is great and his team an miss me more comfortable and enjoyable stay in Kalpitiya because while I could also rent bike and kite team that has available to customers a good price! 10 to Margarita village and his team

I didn´t have the chance to meet Ruben but the locals who run the place are super nice! There are 2 wooden bungalows, a beautiful house and a bar where we took breakfast (Toasts, fruits, eggs, juice…). We felt very comfortable staying in the bungalow, queen size bed with very comfortable mattress. Well done Ruben!

Rubens stay is best described as a little paradise. The four cottages are made really professionally and are equipped with everything you need, without compensating the environment. The toilet is of Western standards and the shower is the coolest shower we had in whole Sri Lanka! Ruben is a really nice, calm and helpful person. He likes to explain about Kalpitiya and also organized some really nice trips for kitesurfing. He rented his best board to me which says something about Ruben! The food. Was delicious, which counts for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You don't need to go anywhere else once you tried. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody!

We found the Margarita Village unusual warmth. The availability of the entire team - Ruben, Ishara and Nisala - to extend any time. Their kindness, their advice, their help, the beauty and cleanliness of the cabins, delicious meals make this Guest House a highly recommended place.

Très bon accueil, de bon conseils. Un bon petit déjeuner puis location de vélo pour nos visites. Également, ils nous ont été d'une aide importante suite à un problème avec nos bagages non réceptionnés a l'aéroport. Je recommande !

nice clean rooms with view. a litlle out of town. the direction you get with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps not accurate, it is a couple of more miles further.

Great place to relax for a couple of days, clean and nice pool, very secluded from town close to nature. Easy access, good email contact with host but when arrived harder to get in touch with. Worth the money and there is a local cheap cafe place to eat.

Difficult to find in the dark. We arrived at 4.30am after driving from Colombo. The host welcomed us even though we woke him up. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was very refreshing. All staff were friendly and helpful.

A pleasant stay. Clean with very helpful staff. Enjoyed the pool very much. Local restaurant is nice too. Best place for spotting of wildlife - mongoose, monitors, squirrels, fire flies, plenty of birds, bats and much more. Loved our stay, the place is very quiet, will definitely come back. Highly recommended :)

We stayed 2nights. It's away from city that makes me feel calm and comfy. They have swimming pool and Restaurant. food was reasonable and delicious. I decided this house because of huge swimming pool. yes, It was huge but need to be managed water cleanness. apart from accommodation, host swami was very kind and nice person. he was good at communication. we enjoyed enough in his house.

We absolutely recommend this place. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the fan and the AC in the room, and the view on trees. The place is clean and calm. Food is good too (there is a restaurant). The family is really nice and helpful (they speak English). We appreciated to talk to them about Sri Lanka and their advices. There is a possibility to be picked up from the airport.

What a fantastic little oasis in Kalpitiya. We booked for two nights but stayed three it was so great. Anais, Keiran and staff go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The food was fantastic, hopefully you get to try some lobster! Would highly recommend!!

This is a wonderfully characterful place - the space is wonderfully creative and near to the water. The room was comfortable, the food really lovely and I really liked showering in the open air! I recommend this place.

We stayed two nights at kite house. It was great. The room is very cosy, spacious and everything was very clean. It's in front of the lagoon. And Anais is a great cooker! We had good chats with her and Manosh. We could rent and drive a tuktuk to visit the area. Such a good experience! Everything was really cheap, because they can get local prices from their friends. We highly recommend this place. Gracias por todo, ha sido genial !

Great! A very cute and calm place in quite a remote part of Sri Lanka, with the feet in the sand and good company. You come as a guest, you leave as a friend! Thanks a lot!

I spent here two nights. Bungalow is with attached toilet and shower. Inside is a ventilator. You can get a breakfast for 400 Rps. WiFi was out of order. Manoj who cared about me was always willing to help. We spent nice moments in the evening by conservation about his beautiful country. If you looking for a calm place situated in almost forgotten village that place is for you.

The cabin in which we stayed was very comfortable and we had all the amenities necessary. There is also available a terrace with chairs and chairs overlooking the lagoon. The fault of this place is that it is far from everything. To go to the village to do some shopping or eating must take a tuk tuk and then a bus which quite alters the budget and time. Fortunately Anais offers a menu with all kinds of meals. We ate there every day as it was almost impossible to go to the center in the evening. The food was really delicious and prepared with fresh products. The price is very high for against Sri Lanka. In terms of activities there is the beach and the lagoon around which you can walk around. There is also a close center offering boat trips and kite surfing.

As a frequent user of airbnb I feel the need to take the trouble to leave an honest review. After 6 months of traveling we had an 'unique' experience with the stay at this bungalow. Unique in a sence that when we arrived there was no one to greet us and to show us around. We arrived at an empty site and waited for a couple of hours with a wifi connection that was not working (which we didnt know of). Since the bungalow is in the middle of nowhere, which normally is awesome! now it was kind of troublesome since there werent any food/drink shops in the area. We read some reviews saying the 'food is amazing' but we never had a chance to taste it... We asked the neighbours, local Sri Lankan ppl, to help us. With minimum knowledge of english they helped, we even got a coconut to drink, and we found another nice local to make us food. To make the story short; we had to wait almost 2 days for our host to be back, got no empathy on our situation, no wifi, no food and a bungalow with a bed that is way too small for 2 ppl. BUT! We liked to decorations and we really liked the cat and the dog, to atleast give some postive feedback!

This place was such a gem! The photos don't do it enough justice! The villas are lovely, the staff is so friendly and the beach is untouched and pristine. There are only a few villas and they're far apart, so you can really enjoy your privacy. Would definitely recommend this and would love to come back!

Keith and all the gang at Elements were super nice and friendly. Even though we were the only people staying at the time, Keith made the atmosphere sociable and welcoming. Highly recommend the Dolphin watching tour, but be ready to spend around $50 Euros per person. The accommodation is spectacular. We were extremely happy with our stay.

The place is wonderfull for Nature and Water Sports lovers, very quite and relaxing, set your inner clock to a slower speed and let it all sink in. Food was great and generous, the bungalows are nicely designed and spacious. The pool was under construction, it would have been nice to have it for the kids. The highlight is that you are completely in touch with Nature! Cheers.
