  • Brandon thanks go out to you and Leonor. It was such a lovely place that was quiet but close to everything and I do mean everything. Whenever we needed anything you answered right away. I really appreciate your hospitality and I'll definitely stay again. Cheers!

  • Brandon’s AirBnB is a short Uber ride (10-15 minutes) from the French quarter - perfect for all of our planned ventures and close to City Park for a nice quiet space too! I travelled with two friends, and while it can accommodate three, I believe it is best suited to solo or couples travel. I have pet-dander allergies, but found that this AirBnB was so well cleaned that I had zero issues. The hosts communication was flawless, prompt and super helpful, and we had A LOT of questions. Thank you for a great stay!

  • What a great space! Very cozy, cute and clean. Love love the privacy and parking space off the street. It was just as described and close to the things we wanted to do and see. Perfect for my husband and I and our little dog. Leonor communicates and is very sweet and friendly. Would come again!

  • The place is just as was listed. Was nice to find fridge stuffed with water in such a hot day. Also they had lots of tips what to do And where to go.

  • This was the cutest AirBnB! I was stopping through on my way to Houston for a night and this was the perfect space for me and my animals. It is a quick Uber to the French Quarter, close to I10, and is an outstanding value. It is a small space perfect for 2 people. Leonor was very sweet and accepting of my dog and cat! I will happily stay here anytime I visit NOLA!

  • Very affordable, well-maintained studio for budget travelers to New Orleans

    Drew2017-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • This studio is good for the price you pay for it. The shower was a bit on the smaller end and it was hard to maneuver at times as well as the bathroom sink. Additionally, at times it felt too hot inside the studio even with the AC on but overall we had an okay stay and would recommend the place to others specially at such an incredible price.

    Angelica2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place for the price and super friendly . Thanks!

One of a kind house overlooking Bourbon Street and Orleans Avenue, across from the Bourbon Orleans Hotel and Tropical Isle. This overlooks Bourbon Street in the exact center intersection of the French Quarter. We are one of the few short-term rentals legally licensed by the City of New Orleans to operate in the French Quarter.
This is an upstairs unit with a corner Bourbon Street balcony in the middle of one of the most iconic locations in the city.
This is a unique place and you will be living in the very center of the French Quarter. I love our neighborhood because of its uniqueness, diversity, and liveliness. It is so rich with history and recognizable around the world as " New Orleans". Whether it's 3 o'clock in afternoon or 3 o'clock in the morning, there is always something going on in the French Quarter.
  • Wow what a location! This place is right in the heart of the french quarter on the famous bourbon street. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching people walk by and just soak in the action of Bourbon street. The apartment is really roomy, close to some nice restaurants, the beds were comfortable, and we also purchased the extra residents car parking pass which was great to have. It's a little noisy at night but hey that's what you get for the location and Andres provides earplugs, so it really wasn't a problem for us!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect location within walking distance of everything New Orleans. Andres was very helpful and gave us safe parking locations to leave our car overnight. Absolutely loved the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street as well! It was everything we were looking for and more! Thank you!

  • Amazing location, perfect for the bourbon street balcony experience. The main living and sleeping area was lovely, spacious and clean. No frills kitchen and bathroom but they were clean and everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and will use again next trip!

Our biggest bedroom features a beautiful antique cypress Queen size bed and lots of plush pillows for cuddling. A book lover's dream, with a 60" TV, mini fridge, large private marble bathroom and private balcony.
Located in the heart of the Garden District, the Parks-Bowman Mansion is a classic example of the good life in New Orleans. Shaded by palm trees and a live oak, the deep porches on all three levels tempt you to rest and relax. The soaring center hall leads visitors to a carved cypress staircase ascending to the very top of the house, lit by stained-glass windows and massive chandeliers. There’s a music room, a formal dining room, a “ladies parlor,” and a fully appointed kitchen where you can enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee in the morning. Outside, a lovely garden surrounds a back porch for lounging and a full size lap-pool. There are three rooms available. This listing is for the Library. Please look for our other listings: the Red Room and the Haunted Bedroom. The Library features a Queen size antique cypress bed and a private shower with travertine marble and hand-held spray. The second floor porch with seating is right outside. The Library has its own wide-screen TV and all rooms have internet access and mini fridges. The Library is close to the Red Room and makes a great double-booking. Our dog, Boggs, (RIP Moxie and Loebie) looks forward to greeting you at the front gate, and while you may not see our two cats (they mostly stay in our portion of the house) sometimes they sneak out for a visit. Our house is furnished with our extensive art collection, which we’ve acquired in over thirty-five years of travel. Oh, and a little bit about us: Adrienne Parks-Bowman is a novelist and screen-writer, and Bill Bowman is a documentary film-maker, music producer, and web designer. We can’t wait to share our house with you, and introduce you to the city we know and love so well. We’re right near Lafayette Cemetery, Commander’s Palace, the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, and the shopping and dining pleasures of Magazine Street. There’s plenty of secure parking on our quiet street, and if you come for Mardi Gras, you’ll be just steps away from the parades! Come visit us and make us your home-away-from-home in New Orleans!
The Garden District feels like a small town, located in the very middle of New Orleans. You're close to the French Quarter, the Museum District, and the Bywater, as well as Audubon Park, the Zoo, City Park, and highways, if you want to take a jaunt to the countryside for plantation or swamp tours. The Garden District itself is justly famous for its stately mansions, lush landscaping, and Lafayette Cemetery (open for tours), and Magazine Street and its restaurants and shops is only two blocks away!
  • Very unique home with all the style and flair of Voo Doo and New Orleans. Adrienne is a great host and the location is great. Great value. Strongly recommend.

    Adam2019-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is hands down the coolest Airbnb you will ever get.. between the host being incredible and the house, the area, the room itself being so unique and full of character.. this is a magical experience that you should not pass up!

    Michael2019-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Adrienne's was an awesome experience! She was incredibly welcoming and accommodating... she allowed us to store our bags before and after our booked stay and had great recommendations on the surrounding area. The house and room were gorgeous. All we wanted to do was lounge on the balcony! It was great walking around the Garden District and viewing the beautiful homes. Adrienne's house was also very convenient. The Lafayette Cemetery and Commander's Palace were only a block away. Magazine Street and the St. Charle's streetcar line were also within walking distance. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to come back!

    Lauren2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • For our first Airbnb experience, I have to say I would use the site again! Thank you Adrienne and Bill for opening your home to us. I enjoyed the history lesson of the Mansion and for the recommendations of locations to eat/shop. Red Dog diner was plentiful and delicious. I know I could have spent days in the library looking at your vast collection of books. I know my husband equally enjoyed looking through the vinyl collection. You have an amazing home and the location was perfect for our visit! Even the dogs were friendly greeters. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying again on another NOLA trip!!

  • Loved this room! Loved the host! Definitely will stay here again. Awesome neighborhood!

    Rachel2018-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location and amazing character filled room. Special treat to have the balcony to ourselves and stay in a room that was nothing like we had ever experienced. Plenty of parking on the street and felt safe to walk around the neighborhood at night. Easy access to Magazine St and plenty of great recommendations from the hosts. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly.

    Simone2018-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cool house and great hosts! Loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience! Very accommodating even with our very late arrival and genuinely kind throughout our stay!

Lovely apt with 14 foot ceilings and exposed plaster walls right in the middle of the French Qtr and the Garden Dist, 10 minute walk to the Convention Center, and with wonderful food and drink options within one block. Separate entrance and entire floor of 1850s brick townhouse. We own the home, and we live on the first floor of the building. We're very thankful to you for staying with us, as your money goes back into the bldg by paying for its continuing restoration! [Listing #: 17STR-08176]
Old 1850s brick townhouse located on the edge of the Lower Garden District. The apartment is romantic, full of antiques, and has a super comfy king size bed. Newly renovated bathrooms as of October 2019. If you love food, you are within walking distance of some great restaurants located either uptown on Magazine Street or downtown in the Warehouse District / CBD. There is a lovely bar right next door, an awesome coffee shop right across the street and a microbrewery within a block. You are just a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter as well. We own this house, live in the building, and do all the booking, communication and cleaning ourselves, so we’re here to make your stay as great as possible with a personal touch! Your stay funds the renovation of this building so thanks for considering us for your trip to New Orleans! Please no weddings or parties in this apartment; these types of events are not allowed without my express consent.
We love this neighborhood! It is right in the middle of city along the river, so a more low traffic spot, but with easy access to the more commercial and entertainment districts. It has its own lovely set of bars, coffee shops, and wonderful restaurants very close by though.
  • Perfect place. Very comfortable. Nice neighborhood

    Jordan2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey was a great host! She kept in touch with me prior to my arrival, was super easy to contact! The apartment is so cozy and rustic! I totally fell in love with it! It's conveniently located, the French Quarter is a 10 minute drive from it. The World War II museum is close by and I strongly recommend a visit!

    Fariah2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Charming, romantic and very comfortable. Very clean and well kept with a perfect location. Thoughtful suggestions for dining. We will definitely be back!

    Edwin2018-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was perfect! I love this neighborhood because you can easily head uptown to all the shops along Magazine in one direction or to the French Quarter and the Marigny in the other. The apartment is lovely and old and really feels like an immersive New Orleans experience. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lindsey made checking in and out very easy. Would definitely recommend this space to anyone.

    Robin2014-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • All of Lindsey's reviews are correct. Her place looks exactly like the images in her post and the location is unbeatable! My girlfriends and I stayed for 4th of July weekeend and this was so much better than any option out there. The apartment was well lit with lots of natural light and roomy plus the neighborhood was adorable (I eagerly walked to Mojo Coffee on Race Street both mornings). We never saw the trolley go by, but we could have walked to the French Quarter and we even used the public bus a couple of times since there was a stop one street over. Thanks, Lindsey for being a kind, responsive host and for the nice, soft towels. Best of luck with the renovations!

    New2015-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey's place is absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect for getting around the city and it's great having a coffee shop just across the street. She has done such a great job fixing the place up, it's absolutely beautiful ❤️ Tons of natural light floods the apartment. There are all the essentials you would need, no need to travel with a towel and toiletries. She was an incredibly accommodating host for us since our flights were at odd times. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to NOLA.

    Becca2016-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • I had a quick weekend trip for work and Lindsey's apartment was the perfect place to stay. She was super flexible with my in-flux travel plans, there were freshly folded towels, the AC was running when I walked in (much appreciated when it's 95 degrees) and the apartment was spotless. It's got tons of charm and is decorated so well. There's also an amazing little selection of books, which was great. Awesome area, too.

    Olivia2015-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey was an excellent host! I can't say enough great things about our experience. She was very thorough with instructions and checked in with us to make sure our trip was going smoothly (as she was out of town). In addition, the place itself is even more beautiful than the pictures show - gorgeous lighting, spacious, and charming. Also, the location is central to so many sights and neighborhoods we wanted to check out in New Orleans - easy walking, yet removed from the craziness of the tourist-heavy areas. Next time we're in New Orleans, I'd definitely try to book with Lindsey again, and I've already recommended her apartment to friends. Great experience, and wonderful host who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Thanks, Lindsey!

  • Don't miss this space! Very cool, perfect location. I felt very safe. You have a view of the Hibernia tower from the skylight and you always know where your place is as a point of reference! The bed is comfy and the space is bright and stylish. Kitchen is well equipped (but come on...really, you are in New Orleans!!!). Great experience and would totally stay again!

  • Great place to stay in a perfect location!

    Andrew2018-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place, exactly as the pictures portray! Very nice location, only blocks from bourbon, but far enough away for some quiet nights. Will definitely be returning to NOLA and will definitively be booking the same unit!

    Nicholas2018-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, amazing space, the communication was excellent! HOWEVER, the only reason I chose this place was because of the roof and the possibility of seeing the sky. Sadly, we never found the remote control; that was really disappointing. Nevertheless, they gave us a travel voucher for the inconvenience. Overall, I felt like I had paid for a creme brulee and just get jello.

I love that it's down to earth, welcoming, historic architecture and a lot of space and green for being located in central New Orleans. It's a residential neighborhood, NOT located in the French Quarter! (see map on bottom of the listing!)
  • Miriam is an awesome host, very flexible and accommodating. The apartment has everything, including 3 double beds. The kitchen has everything. Groceries are at walking distance. French quarter is 30' by foot but only 6-7$ by Uber. Very convenient to be in a quiet neighborhood at night. Close to city park too!

  • Close to town. Nice and clean space with great AC. Recommended ubering everywhere, neighborhood was a little rough.

  • Enjoyed our stay at SunshineSuite. House was very clean, comfortable and located close to French Quarter. Miriam was great! She even mailed my phone charger to me that I had left behind! Will stay here again when back in town.

    Mariah2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Miriam was very good at communicating before our arrival. The house was exactly as pictured and was quiet, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood seemed okay during the day but probably wouldn't recommend walking around at night. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

    clint2016-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Miriam was a great experience. The house is great. A bit if a walk to city centre. But we like to walk so no problems and there are buses going all the time in to the city. The neighbours were friendly and you felt safe. Take a cab back home though, don't walk. Miriam was very helpful, so just book it!

  • We didn’t need to contact the host for much, but when we did, we received very quick responses. There were a lot of helpful recommendations attached to the listing and in the home. We were a little removed from the tourist attractions, but most places were easy to walk to and a short drive back at night. I would definitely recommend bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper–the noise calms down after 10 pm but starts early in the morning. Overall, it was a cute place with the essentials provided.

    Karla2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jo's place is just as pictured. We really enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to everything - just a short Uber ride away. As many other guests have stated, it is definitely a neighborhood still in transition, but we always felt safe. One charming aspect that I enjoyed was there were what I referred to as the "neighborhood roosters" that crowed every morning. I would definitely recommend Jo's place to anyone wanting a small, clean, affordable place to stay in NOLA.

    Cheryl & Renee2017-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Shannon got in touch shortly after we placed our reservation with a welcome and some early details, then followed up with complete information and a list of restaurants / music venues the week before the trip. She was friendly and helpful and made our booking and stay easy.

    Joseph2016-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Shannon and Jan's place was great! Located in a great spot, walking distance to Frenchman street and other restaurants/bars. The place was clean and spacious and they even let us check in a bit early to accommodate our check out time at a different Airbnb. Would definitely recommend!

    Elliott2016-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding place, would definitely stay again. Neighborhood is great, backyard is cozy and inside is absolutely just as beautiful as the rest of New Orleans. Such a good location close to Claiborne and the French quarter. Loved it!

    Sierra2019-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! Walking distance from the French Quarter and Frenchman St. Highly recommend!

    Allie2019-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jo's place was very nice. Never saw Jo in person, but she was very responsive on the messenger app. The space was great. Really enjoyed the record player. Walkable to the French quarter, but it's a bit of a haul. Neighbors were all super friendly! Thanks Jo!

    Logan2017-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is super cute and clean. The walls are a bit thin so if you’re a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs. There’s also a rooster that lives in the neighborhood. There are some questionable areas that you will have to walk through if you’re going to the major tourist areas ( Bourbon st., Frenchmen st. Etc). I did walk through the areas with no issue, but was told by multiple locals that it’s not a safe area for someone from out of town to be walking in. An Uber was about $7-$10 depending on the time of day.

In the Treme, close to Esplanade Ave, Frenchmen St, the Quarter, the River Walk, City Park and the Fair Grounds. Not far from the Canal Streetcar, Marigny, Bywater or Downtown. A clean private room with private entrance. Free off street parking.
This is a second story apartment in the back of our residence, with a private gated entrance. The room is at least as big as your average hotel room and way more charming. As a seperate part of a wonderfully restored old style New Orleans home you'll appreciate the original hardwood floors and the windows that gaze out over the Treme neighborhood. We are a five minute walk to historic and beautiful Esplanade Ave. Go left and Esplanade will end at the Mississippi river right between Frenchmen St and the French Quarter. • I am very happy with my choice and everything in the room/space was as described. The place was clean and cozy, and has a separate entrance. The neighborhood is quiet - 10 minute Uber ride or 30 min walk from Bourbon Street. The communication with Mariellen and her husband was impeccable. Great value!

    Ellie2018-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great beautiful place! The hosts were great too! We had a great time! Is pretty easy to walk to the centre from here and you get to see lots of different places on the way there. Would highly recomend!

    Maria2019-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Hey Mariellen, thanks providing a landing pad ... I enjoyed your place... It was like a little place to retreat to. All the best, David

    David2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Mariellen's place, it's stylish, private and in a good location. 10 minute $7 Lyft into town, we wouldn't recommend walking at night . Very hospitable hosts, provided us with water during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

    Harry2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful, it has a lovely warm charming atmosphere, a cozy bathtub, and a very comfortable bed. It’s not right a t the hotspot, but you can easily walk or take an Uber. I felt so comfortable and privat there that it was worth it. And the price is very fair.

    Sofiye2019-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I had a great time in New Orleans! The neighborhood was quiet and a cheap uber to the main attractions. You can’t walk anywhere from here but staying in the 7th Ward really rounded out our visit, we were able to see parts of New Orleans that we wouldn’t have had we stayed in the French quarter! The room is as pictured, nothing extra but clean and comfortable.

    Hannah2017-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • A separate apartment with microwave, coffee pot and mini refrig. Spotlessly clean. Mariellen was responsive in her communications and accmmodating. Great location for hopping an uber to the French Quarter and other places to visit in New Orleans.

    Barbara2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Mariellen's place for 4 nights and felt really at home. We walked into the Treme district through the day and used the hop on/hop off bus to tour the city. It worked out perfectly! We used an uber to return home in the evening. We felt safe in the neighbourhood and used our car to visit areas outside of the city. It was a cosy, comfortable property and was clean. The use of the fridge and microwave were really helpful. I would happily stay at Mariellen's place again and hope to return to New Orleans in the future - we loved it!

  • Genene is such an amazing host! The space is super comfortable and easy to get to!

    Lillian2019-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • The exterior of the home looks a little sketchy but the inside is gorgeous and very clean. Dont let the outside appearance deter you from staying here.

    Utopia2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Genene’s place exceeded our expectations as it relates to amenities. She thought of everything necessary to make our stay comfortable & convenient. The distance from the Superdome & areas like the French Quarter was ideal, I would recommend this space for sure. The only negative was the gravel parking space; we ended up with a nail in our tire & had to get that fixed before leaving the city.

    Breanna2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay.

    Patrick2019-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great space and hosts! I was feeling unwell one of the days in NOLA and Genene stepped up to help me. Very generous and wonderful hosts! The airbnb is about a 15 minute lyft/uber ride from the French Quarter. It's a cozy space. Clean, well kept and since we went in July, we were thankful for air conditioning. Definitely recommend for folks if you are coming to NOLA.

    Araceli2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Genene's place was amazing. It was a short lyft ride to the quarter/frenchman street. The place was VERY clean when we arrived. Genene was available for any questions we had. The only thing that we wish we had was another few inches in the shower, lol. It was small. But I would definitely stay at this air bnb every time I come to NOLA.

My 1936 double is not in the French Quarter but is in the center of the NOLA area. By car you can get anywhere in 10 minutes; that's City Park, Mid-City/Fairgrounds, the French Quarter, the Convention Center, Tulane and Audubon Park, Lake Ponchartrain, the Westbank, Magazine & Julia St. as well as Metarie! This is an entire clean and comfy NO- SMOKING apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The space is open and airy. It has lots of natural light. You have access to the front porch as well as the backyard patio. There is a basically equipped kitchen if you would like to cook.
The neighborhood is quiet yet located right in the middle of the 'crescent' of the Crescent City! MY HOUSE IS NOT IN OR NEXT TO THE FRENCH QUARTER! The Quarter is at least a 10 minute drive away and I am happy to let you know where to park down there; just ask! My husband and I bike to work in the French Quarter everyday and find it takes about 20 minutes to bike there. Walking might take you an hour. My neighborhood is quiet and residential. Please, please, please do not block ANY driveway. Please make sure that your vehicle is parked at least 3 FEET away from any driveway. You have a designated spot on the street in front of the ABB listing but if it is taken please park legally in another spot. Thank you!
  • Crys was great. She was very nice let me drop my bags off early. Place was near everthing I needed and spacious. I will stay there anytime I'm in the area

    Londrell2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very spacious and clean. A quick drive to all the landmarks.

    Melody2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Crys' place. Large living room, dining room, large king sized bed (with a 2nd bedroom available if needed). Everything about the place was great! The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking. The French Quarter is a long walk, but I wouldn't do that since you'll go through some so/so neighborhoods. Overall I would describe Crys' place as large, comfortable... the perfect place to stay after a long day of exploring New Orleans. Crys was extremely responsive to all my messages and was a wonderful host! We will certainly be back again!

    Lisa & Cameron2017-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Would stay there again - no question!

  • What is not to like about this spot. Beautiful, well furnished without being stuffy, great natural light, fantastic location behind Tulane, 6 blocks from the streetcar and a very personal host and hostess. A real gem.

  • This was a fantastic experience. The flat is large and airy, tons of natural light and very clean. We truly felt at home and comfortable. It's decorated with some cool pictures and other interesting pieces without being overwhelming. Very cozy, quiet, great space to write in. Very close to good food, the French Quarter and other sights. We will definitely be back!

This cute 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment truly feels like an oasis. Let it be your refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is located in Treme on Bayou Road, near the famed French Quarter. Perfect for Jazz Fest and other events. Book today!
Our apartment is located in a historic home. You'll appreciate the beauty of the original floors and finishes. The furnishings are both comfortable and functional, while honoring the style of the home. We can comfortably accommodate two people, although a third person could definitely sleep on the couch.
You'll love the neighborhood. Tremé is a culturally rich area, full of gorgeous architecture and a deep musical tradition. It's an easy walk to the French Quarter and famed Congo Square. Also nearby is St. Louis Cemetary #1, resting place of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau.
  • I really couldn't say enough positive things about this place or my stay here! It was fantastic and I really felt bad for booking another house for one of my colleagues because the other place seemed great online but it didn't meet the expectations as opposed to this place which completely exceeded my already high expectations. My colleague and I could have comfortably shared the stay for several days in comfort.

    Isabelle2018-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was gold star place to stay. When you're in the suite, it feels like you're in a luxury apartment in Paris but you're actually in the heart of New Orleans. The bathroom is huge and of course you've read about the shower with its surround sound water! Amazing. The hosts are generous and very quick to offer suggestions for restaurants and fun things to do in NOLA. Count yourself lucky if you get to stay here.

    Brett2017-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Brandon's apartment was beautiful and was just as shown in his pictures. We were made to feel very welcome and there was some bubbly and food for us when we arrived. The apartment was about 8 blocks to the French Quarter and was a comfortable walking distance for us (about 15-20 minutes). It was in a quiet district and although my wife felt a bit uneasy about the area we did not see or encounter any problems. We just decided to get a taxi back at night for peace of mind. The dogs next door were a bit noisy at night when we stayed but it did not stop us sleeping it was just a bit of a nuisance but we couldn't expect Brandon to do anything about that. So in summary we enjoyed Brandon's place and we would recommend it if you were visiting the French Quarter.

    Alan2015-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place. Great ambience. Pictures don't do the place justice. Much better seen in person.

    Christine2018-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place was exactly as pictured! The bathroom was incredible and the living room was spacious. I thought the bed was really comfortable too. It was about a 20 minute walk to bourbon street which was a little longer than I would of liked but not bad at all. Some may like being away from the craziness to get a good nigts sleep. There were plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to eat and the parade schedule. Overall great stay!

    Maya2018-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • What an absolutely fantastic place! Brandon and Truedell were so warm and welcoming that it really was such a disappointment to leave. Truedell even gave us a little tour/history lesson about the home and couldn't have been more welcoming. The place was absolutely immaculate. We especially enjoyed the enormous windows that opened as an entrance to the upstairs patio. The location was perfect given that it only took about 20 minutes to walk to the French Quarter. We sincerely hope to be able to stay here again!

    Andrew2016-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is conveniently located on the edge of the French quarter in a beautiful old New Orleans home. It's an easy 10-15min walk from everywhere we needed to be. We weren't able to meet Brandon, but the ever lovely Trudell made our stay more than wonderful. She communicated thoroughly, was thoughtful enough to deliver little treats at our door, and was generally a very warm host. On arrival, she made sure we had everything we needed and provided a care package full of bathroom supplies in case we'd forgotten anything. The apartment itself was fully equipped, large, had a very comfortable bed and exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be staying here again on future trips. Thanks Trudell!

  • Really great place for the value off of Magazine st- better than a lot of hotels I've stayed at! With in-unit washer and dryer, a full fridge and kitchen, tons of towels and A/C, you'll feel al the conveniences of a hotel. This was my first time staying out of the French quarter and I really loved the area - you can walk to the streetcar, many buses, and of course use Uber/ Lyft to get around easily. The hosts were great and very accommodating. I highly recommend this property!

  • Thanks for being such a great host. My family enjoyed our stay. I’ve been to New Orleans several times. This location exceeded my experiences due to the hospitality and the environment you have created for your guests.

    Monica2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • We would stay here again. Pros: Excellent location and price in a fun, historic building. Owners were friendly and provided plenty of clean towels and soaps. Cons: The shower only let out a weak trickle of water and the slanted balcony and loose railings on the stairwell felt unsafe. They were undergoing renovations so maybe these issues will be fixed soon.

    Eliza2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • The space is beautiful and is located in an amazing part of the French Quarter! We stayed during the week (Tues-Fri) which was ideal because there were plenty of people out & about but it wasn't too noisy. Things were getting very rowdy by the time we left Friday afternoon. We loved having the luggage drop to leave our bags in while we walked around after checking out and before going to the airport. The only drawbacks were uneven/dirty floorboards and the shower, which had zero water pressure. Otherwise, the space was perfect for me & my friend and was surrounded by fun things to do in walking distance.

    Rachel2018-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely beautiful, super clean and so cute! Just what I was looking for for my very first visit to New Orleans! The hosts were so welcoming and quick to communicate. We had no issues checking in and the location is great. Just steps away from Bourbon St. but still quiet enough to get some sleep :) My only suggestion to future guests is to pack somewhat light if you can because the stairs going up to the apartments are no joke! Not a complaint, just be prepared. Everything was wonderful, I would stay here again for sure!

    Chontelle2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The place is in a great location: it is right off of Bourbon street, but far enough down that you aren't right in the middle of everything when you want to turn in and get some rest. The room itself was very clean and had sufficient amenities. Check-in/out was seamless. The only complaint I had was that the wi-fi was pretty spotty. Definitely would recommend it to others.

Within walking distance to the St. Roch Market, St. Claude Arts District, Marigny/Bywater nightlife, Frenchmen Street, and the French Quarter! Come party with the locals, and enjoy complimentary Chicory Coffee for your hangover!
Our 2 bedroom apartment is a New Orleans shotgun style, which means all the rooms run front to back in a row. The front room is the living room with a comfortable couch and Smart TV. If you have a Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu account you can enjoy your favorite shows even while you're away from home. Please note there is no regular cable channels available. Separated by two french doors is the Kitchen with a bar-top table and two bar stools. There is also a church pew for more seating. The kitchen is equipped with a Gas stove, Fridge, Microwave, Tea Kettle, and a French Press so that you can enjoy your morning coffee. There are also plates, silverware, pots and pans, and glassware if you feel like staying in and cooking one night. The first bedroom is next to the kitchen with a Queen Bed and very large closet. Through the next door is a small hallway with the bathroom to the right. There is a full tub, and towels are provided along with Shampoo. The Master Bedroom is the last room of the apartment with lots of windows to watch the sunset from the comfy Queen Bed.
We live on a very quiet street. There is one parking spot if needed. Otherwise there is plenty of FREE street parking. As in all neighborhoods of New Orleans, or any city for that matter, be safe and be smart! Don't walk alone at night. Taking a cab or Uber home from the bars at night is always the better idea.

  • This house was perfect! The location, the decor, the cleanliness and our hostess Trudell was amazing! I don't want to stay anywhere else when I visit New Orleans. I was beyond pleased with my stay here.

    S2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great location - fairly close to bars and restaurants. The space itself is very cute. Truedell is extremely helpful, and can offer suggestions for what to do in the area.

  • Great location and beautiful home

    Brandon2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Marks place was phenomenal! Such a lovely area with incredibly welcoming neighbours. It's in a quieter area while still being an easy walk to everything you want to see while in NOLA - couldn't recommend this house more!

    Lauren2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place does not disappoint. Really spectacular, spacious, private upstairs apt with a flavor of New Orleans. Very comfortable. Very clean. Very easy to get there. Good places nearby. Gentrifying area, which I liked, but it might not be the best family spot for walking around at night, but I felt safe, and the apartment is secure. The neighborhood is picturesque and great stuff to walk to during the day. I would stay there again, and I doubt there is any better place, def not for the price.

    Zach2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, walking distance to the French Quarter. Charming and historical space. Quick responses from the host.

    Bill And Terrie2019-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Conveniently located just a few minutes walk away from the main attractions of the French Quarter. This could be a luxury living apartment, if it would be better maintained and better equipped. Neighborhood is noisy and due to the bad quality and partially broken windows, you need ear plugs if you want to get a good nights sleep. I think it is not worth the money and I would not rent it again.

    Ulf2017-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect Location! Being right next to the French Quarter made it easy for us to walk every where we wanted to go, but it was still nice to be right outside in a quieter, more residential area. Just one block north of Rampart Street and the street car! When I walked through the door, I instantly fell in love with this place! It made our first trip to New Orleans so special. Instead of just walking past all of the beautiful houses in town, we actually got to stay inside one! We explored all areas of town and I still think this area was the best to stay in. Will for sure choose this house the next time we visit NOLA.

Our Mid-City private unit is 1 block off Canal St and the street car, walking distance to City Park and several other amazing local neighborhood bars and restaurants. A 5-10 minute drive to downtown & FQ or walk a block to the streetcar stop Some notable amenities-Full kitchen, central air/heat, WiFi, LCD television & Cable, Washer/dryer, full bath. Living amenities: Queen bed, futon, linens, towels & washcloths, pots/pans & dishes and basic necessities like toilet paper and paper towels.
Completely renovated half of a "shotgun double" (essentially a duplex for those not familiar with New Orleans), about 650 sq/ft. Our home was built in the early part of the 20th century (c. 1906). Through our renovation, we took extensive measures to maintain the historic nature of our home and fuse with modern conveniences.
Mid City is a great part of town to spend your time in New Orleans because it's roughly a 10 minute drive to just about any tourist attraction you might enjoy (e.g. in the French Quarter, CBD or Uptown). It's a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and also has some of the best places to eat and visit for entertainment in the city. There's always street parking in front of or near our house if you bring your car, which is safe to leave and there is no cost for parking.
  • This place was absolutely amazing. When I walked in I was surprised by how spacious it was. Everything was very neat and organized. I give the place a 10/10 on cleanliness. I love the hotel vibe. They provided plenty fresh towel and cute little travel size toiletries( shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, etc.). The bed was very comfortable. This place was a home away from home. I would definitely stay again.

    Ashley2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great unit in a great location! The neighborhood felt safe and was conveniently located near the street care, restaurants, grocery stores, and just a short drive to the French Quarter. It was always easy and quick to get an Uber or Lyft. The unit was updated and very clean and check-in and check-out was seamless. Glenn was a great host! He communicated effectively before and during our stay and always answered our questions right away. Thank you again for the great stay!

    Arianne2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying with Glenn. His place was exactly as he described it and as clean as it looked in the pictures. Although we did not get to meet Glenn because of conflicting schedules, he promptly answered questions that we had through email. It is nice when you don't have to worry about your sleeping arrangements and can enjoy the city. Staying with Glenn is a must the next time we are in New Orleans.

    David2017-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Glenn's place couldn't have been better! Check in was an absolute breeze and they offer an easy alarm system for while you're away. The place itself was absolutely stunning and We'll never stay another place in New Orleans! It's less than half a block to a great local bar and within a few blocks to other great places you can walk to. Glenn was very helpful whenever needed, printing us tickets and helping find parking, but also really gave us our space. Highly recommend!

    Daniel2018-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn's place is great. A good location and inside is nice and comfortable for 2 people. It felt very New Orleans homie. I would recommend it.

    Stephen2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn's place is perfect for any visit to New Orleans. The accommodations where as described the home is modern and amenities are up-to-date & very clean. Glenn was an awesome host he was there to greet us and provided us with much needed information about local attractions and how to get around town. He was available when we needed him and had good recommendations on places not to miss out on while visiting New Orleans. I would recommend Glenns place to anyone looking for an all-around good Airbnb experience.

    Ronald2016-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in Mid City. It was really fun staying in the New Orleans style “shot gun” house and the location was close to the streetcar and a quick Uber/Lyft ride to wherever we wanted to go. Glenn provides a folder with his local recommendations which we referenced several times throughout the trip. Overall a great place to stay for our first trip to Nola!

    Bethany2018-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, for the stay, Get was excellent good communication from the host and easy check in. Very clean and quite close to restaurant and shopping. My next time I come to New Orleans I would stay at there again.

  • We absolutely loved our stay at this convenient, quiet, sparkling clean apartment! Alexandra was super communicative and went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and accommodating my special request for dairy-free creamer. The location is great - close to shops, restaurants, historical sites, we loved the neighborhood and the apartment. Easy check-in/out. Thanks so much Alexandra!

  • As a family of 5 with 3 kiddos under the age of 6 this beautiful spot worked great for us. It was comfortable, beautiful, and stylish. After a day out and about, we were super happy coming back here. A home away from home! Alexandra was quick to respond to any questions. Worked great for us as a family and would be an awesome place to stay without kiddos too!

Locally owned and hosted! Walk to the French Quarter and all of the great jazz clubs on Frenchmen St. from the front apartment of this chic, historic shotgun. Come home to a bedroom covered in murals of New Orleans streets.
This apartment has a little bit of everything you need to experience New Orleans like a fabulous local. The space consists of a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom, with an open concept floorplan and large pocket doors closing off the bedroom from the rest of the house. The side patio is shared with the few other guests, tenants, or the owner of the house.
The house is a ten minute walk to the French Quarter and is just a block away from the St. Claude streetcar line.
  • Lauren's place was great! We stayed at her "Authentic, Funky, Chic-- Walk to French Quarter" apartment. Pictures are very accurate and it's in the perfect location. Walking to Frenchman St, Decatur, and Bourbon St is within 10-15 minutes. Only thing I would say is it's listed as entire home, but there is a back part where the owner lives. It's separate from the apartment, but just a heads up for anyone who is really private! The owner was really nice and not in the way at all :)

    Rachel2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Can't say enough good things about this place and the host. It's a pre-Civil War cottage close to the French quarter - flowing interior from kitchen & dining, thru living room, to a double doored bedroom, all done with a funky, unusual, but sophisticated and beautiful decor - from the pieces of art deco trim remnants from Hurricane Harvey installed on the walls to the "Triplets of Belleville" drawings of old Paris apartment houses on bedroom walls, laced with strings of lights, and the prairie of dark wooden floor, punctuated with comfortable beds and furniture. We loved it! Its location meant we slept quietly at night, yet were able to walk into the boisterous French Quarter within 15 minutes. There were also some neighborhood gems that Lauren pointed out to us - an excellent comfort food Russian restaurant operating inside the nearby Siberia bar, an amazing local and natural food coop just a few blocks down, stocked with a lot of food goodies for those who want good fresh produce and food supplies, and, of course, the St. Roch Market, where vendors sold an eclectic mix of ready to eat food - Vietnamese, pastries, takeout chicken, seafood prepared to your specs, just to name a few. And a thrift shop right around the corner - always useful in picking up cheaply something you forgot to pack, or a special momento. Our hosts went well beyond the usual levels of hospitality - when we suddenly found out that my husband needed a jacket and tie for a banquet, Lauren loaned us a selection from which he was able to choose. Thanks so much, Lauren!! Thanks so much for everything! Should we ever return to NO, we'll be sure to look for this airbnb again...

    Mary2017-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic, eclectic, comfortable place. We felt safe and the apartment has such great artwork and an old feel to it. Just what we were looking for in our NOLA vacation.

    Allison2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Super cool space in a really convenient location. Close enough to walk to the French Quarter easily, but just far enough to be quiet. Stylish touches everywhere you look and super clean!

    Eric2019-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so amazing and cute! We literally walked everywhere only needing to lyft once and that's because it was raining. When we come back we will definitely stay here again!

    Michelle2018-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here! Lauren was excellent at communicating instructions and offered help or recommendations whenever we asked; the inside of the house is even more striking than the pictures show, and the A/C was top notch (very important feature for New Orleans in July!!!)

    Becky2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I loved this space so much! The fireplace by the bed made it so cozy, especially since it got colder at night in December. We really appreciated the bluetooth speakers and the coffee provided was amazing. Definitely stay here if you plan on going to New Orleans. Lauren is SO responsive and it's a great location. We loved walking to St. Roch Market and Seed for vegan food :) and wandering down Frenchmen St. for live music.

    Carey2018-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the place! Stylish, clean and nice distance from everything. Would definitely recommend to friends and family! Thanks again, Lauren!

  • Let's start with the easy one first! We arrived to a complimentary cold bottle of Champagne and a local sandwich. Nothing better to welcome us. The accommodations were exactly as pictured and the home was immaculate. GREAT job Angie! A little further away from the Quarter than we had planned, but well worth the walk, viewing various homes along the way. We traveled by foot all weekend and walk in every direction to get the flavor of the community and surroundings. The entire neighborhood was welcoming and courteous. We can't say enough about our perfect time away, feeling like we were in OUR home within minutes of our arrival. Our flight out was late Sunday and Angie allowed us to leave our bags behind for the day (once we checked out) to come back around 5pm to retrieve. Certainly made us feel like family! Great place, great price, great service....nothing can compare to that. Thanks again Brandon, sorry we didn't get to meet in person.

    Christopher2015-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place was wonderful! Beautiful place, great recommendations, very friendly host, awesome vibe, great distance from events. This is a place I very much look forward to visiting for many years into the future for our return trips!

    Amber2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Had a blast in Tremé, everything was phenomenal. Brandon & Angie have set place up in a stylish and comfortable setting, we even changed our travel plans to stay here for the weekend too. Between the cake slices, New Orleans' sandwiches and champagne that were set up for us, we felt like this was as ideal as it gets. Great brunch spots south of the area, and the house was charming and was the belle of the block! Hope to reserve again and again -- what a magical time.

    Logan H-T2015-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough good things about this place. Trudell and Michel were awesome hosts from the moment we arrived, and told us everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay. Even without them, the place is about as authentic as it gets, and you're within walking distance of the French Quarter and Frenchmen St. This is going to be the first place I look every time I plan a trip back to New Orleans.

    Zach2015-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • The house and host were most welcoming and quite friendly. Located near the French Quarter, the house has ample street parking. Beautiful house. It is across the street from a high school, so during summer months, at least, it is very quiet. Overall, a most enjoyable experience.

    Nathaniel2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. It's well decorated, clean, and inviting. There's jazz music playing throughout the apartment that really makes you feel the NOLA vibe. The bed is incredibly comfortable as is the sofa. It really felt like home. The location is ideal, we were able to walk to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. The bulk of our activities were in the French Quarter. Our hostess, Trudell, was the sweetest woman. She even made us a little ornament! Everything we needed was fully provided. We will most definitely be returning during our future trips to NOLA.

    Ashley2015-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here, the bed is very comfortable which is always a big thing for us when we are traveling. While we were in the space very little due to out site seeing, eating, etc we enjoyed the surroundings and found it to be a very peaceful spot! Would book here again if were ever in the NOLA area!

    Lynette2017-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I visited New Orleans to celebrate her upcoming wedding and the weekend was truly magical. And the success of the weekend was in large part to our most gracious hosts. Trudelle (Brandon's Step-mom) is the loveliest. She made us feel like family, she treated us so well and gave us a very personal view on the city. Showing us her favorite spots, introducing us to NOLA Cuisine and hidden gems. And the apartment is stunning, clean and spacious. It's great walking distance to the quarter and we were able to easily find our way around. I will absolutely be coming back for a visit! Thank you so much for making the trip so memorable for my sister and I- it was truly special!

The Central Business District is a dynamic urban center with a colorful architectural history. Enjoy the polished restaurants with delicious creole cuisine, or grab a drink at one of the many vibrant bars. Indulge in the shopping along Canal Street or in the South Market District.
  • This is absolutely an ideal place to stay and it will be even better once the trolley service and Canal Street is fully open. Currently you have take a detour and walk around a few blocks due to the Hard Rock Hotel collapse (the sidewalks and street are blocked off). We took the bus a few times in various part of the city because the trolleys weren't in operation in those locations - ride all day on the bus or trolley for $3. That said, this apartment is an amazing value! Clean, spacious, quiet, private and fully stocked with amenities! The air quality is excellent. The Jung Hotel staff were very gracious and accommodating as well and we loved that we could store our luggage upon arrival for a very nominal fee of $2 per bag. Check out the player piano if you are there at Christmastime! We loved the rooftop terrace with city view and small heated rooftop pool on the 19th floor, but the larger hotel pool on the 6th floor is also an option. There is also a gym on the 18th floor. Both the rooftop pool and gym are reserved for Sonder guests. The Canal Street area with many of the larger and fancier hotels is very pretty at Christmastime. It's an easy and very scenic walk to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. We didn't have a car, so we walked about six miles each day. A few places worth checking out - Cafe Beignet (there are a few locations - the one at 334 Royal Street was an easy walk to our apartment), Roosevelt Waldorf Astoria (absolutely spectacular Christmas decorations and Monday night special of famous Carl's fried chicken and sides of red beans and cole slaw for $18.93 - piano bar), Capitol One building (largest real Christmas tree in the city), Happy Hour at Luke (oysters on the half shell for 75 cents each and half price wine and beer), Happy Hour at Trenasse (just across the street from Luke - we didn't get there, but they also have 75 cent oysters on the half shell plus other Happy Hour specials). There are also a few CVS and Walgreens nearby that also sell wine, beer and alcohol and a few grocery items.

  • Beautiful condo and in a great location! 5-10 minute walk to Bourbon and didn't need an Uber the whole trip. Host is very responsive and helpful on all topics. Only problem is the 2nd bed is not a queen sleeper sofa but a fancier futon more like a twin mattress. It worked fine but would have liked to have seen a photo beforehand. Still would have rented the space even if I saw the photo though. Great trip!

  • We had one of the best Airbnb experiences at this location in all of our travels. The level of communication and hospitality was much better than we would've ever expected from anyone. They accommodated and tended to all of our needs and provided more than what we needed. Thank you so much.

  • I thought this listing looked too good to be true, but it was absolutely not. I loved everything about this house. Marcus and Anya provide a quality living space and anything you could need for a nice get away. 100% recommend.

Great home base to explore the city! In the heart of the Bywater/St.Claude neighborhood, we're a short walk to most Bywater bars & restaurants, and a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride down to the French Quarter. The apartment is an artsy one bedroom shotgun with hardwood floors, 12 ft ceilings, old school pocket doors, and lots of sunlight! There's a big backyard and porch to hang out on, and a well stocked kitchen with an antique gas stove. Free WIFI and washer & dryer on site.
The house has a big queen bed in the main bedroom, a convertible queen sleeper in the front room, and a super comfortable daybed. There are doors between each room, but note, the house is a traditional shotgun, so folks sleeping in the front room must walk through the dining room and main bedroom to reach the bathroom at the back of the house. Licence # 18STR-18135
We're a block in on the lake side (north side) of St. Claude Ave. The neighborhood is super diverse, a mix of working class families and artists. The house is on a quiet street but a short walk to Vaughn's, BJ's or Bacchanal for live music almost every night of the week. Delicious restaurants like The Joint, Pizza Delicious or Elizabeth's are also all within walking distance. We're right around the corner from the St. Claude Arts District, Solo Espresso, and the Alvar Library, and only six blocks to Crescent Park- a brand new park the runs along the Mississippi River through the length of the Bywater.
  • The bikes were a major plus. We saw the city in a way that we couldn't have without them. I was totally pleased with the place. It was as presented online.

  • Gabrielle's house is in a great neighborhood filled with kind people, great food, and close proximity to everything New Orleans has to offer. This was our second time staying at this location, and it had everything we needed to feel safe and comfortable. Being able to ride bikes was a major plus! When I had a little trouble locking the side gate, Gabrielle was reached immediately by phone to smooth out the problem, even though she was out of town. Her brother lives next door too and was very kind to give us some suggestions about what to do in the city. All in all, another great experience.

  • Great host, awesome house, highly recommend!!

    John2014-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Would definitely recommend this place!! Super charming and authentic and in a great location for Bywater adventures. Loved strolling the neighborhood and stumbling upon treasures. So grateful for all of Gabrielle's recommendations - we took advantage of so many for music and eats - and for sharing this awesome house with the AirBNB world!

    Katie2014-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • My partner Julian and I loved our brief stay at Gabrielle's little shotgun. The house itself was thoughtfully furnished and very sweet. The house was also beautifully clean, the bed was super comfortable and Gabrielle was great to communicate with throughout. We would happily recommend this Airbnb! It's especially ideal for couples.

    Melissah2015-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Gabrielle's house. It was enough room for 4, and felt like a true New Orleans experience. We stayed two nights there after three nights on the French Quarter and it was great to experience a different neighborhood!

    Ashley2016-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! Located in such an amazing, chilled neighborhood with a lot of good local bars and restaurants. The place comes with bikes as well which is by far the best way to see the city!

    Mark2013-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in NOLA and really enjoyed Gabrielle's artsy home. If you are up for getting in a good walk (which we were) you can take her street down to the levy for a scenic view of the city. It was only a 30-40 minute walk to the French Quarter from her place. We loved the art in the neighbor and the local restaurants close by as well. We had a group of 4 and every one slept comfortably...parking was super easy as well. We didn't have to drive anywhere. After a long night we caught a cab home (best to walk into the French Quarter as cabs can take up to an hour to pick up...those that answer the phone that is). We definitely recommend Gabrielle's wonderful home. She was a great host and always responded promptly if we had any questions.

My place is close to Magazine Street Irish Channel, Garden District, Shops, Coffee, Shopping, French Quarter. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. A/C, wifi, private porch in back of unit with table, chairs umbrella. Great location to park your car and either walk to the public transport, shop and visit the restaurants, bars of Magazine Street. Can be cozy for a couple or sleep up to 5 people.
2 Bedroom unit is typical "Shotgun" style house. You enter living room, and go through 2 bedrooms to get to kitchen and bathroom and back exit to porch. The furniture is a double bed in main bedroom, a double with a single on top in 2nd bedroom. Bathroom have great hot water pressure. The privacy of the back porch makes this a great hang out to get your game on before going out to hit the town. Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans- and we have a list of great cheap eats. TV provided
Awesome! Just 2 blocks off Magazine Street- where all the college kids go to visit bars, exclusive shopping in boutiques and great coffee shops and eateries abound. You can bike ride or take public transport to French Quarter and local Uber gets you there faster- we provide a discount driver too
  • Brandon and Leonor were very welcoming and quick to respond to any question I had. The house is in a quiet, laid back area, but within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shopping, and the St Charles streetcar line. I’d be happy to stay here again.

  • Host/hostess are terrific! Quaint, clean, economical property in good location. Free street parking. Easy walk to quirky shops and restaurants. Small clawfoot bathtub with shower curtain surround so plan accordingly. Common wall between the two shotgun-style units so be aware that noise/sound bleeds over.

NEWLY LISTED This charming one bedroom apartment is nestled in the heart of Downtown, New Orleans. The exposed-brick walls, floor to ceiling windows, and stunning balcony views is a must. Centrally located to major attractions like WWll museum, Convention center, the Super Dome, Lower Garden District, the French quarter and several restaurants. Super walkable location and stocked with modern touches for ultimate comfort. This house can take 4 GUESTS. The couch in the common area can be a bed.
  • the host didn’t send me instructions about check in until i prompted them via message and call on my way to the location, there was a cleaning person there when we arrived. the automated notes i received before checkin about the apartment being monitored for noise levels at all times was really off putting. its fine to ask your guests to be respectful of neighbors and we weren’t planning on being loud but it was definitely weird feeling like i couldn’t speak too loudly because i was being monitored. especially since you can hear the top 40 music from the ‘flamingo a go go ‘ restaurant next door and the upstairs neighbors dog/chairs from the bedroom. there was no dish for shampoo/razor or soap etc in the shower and that stuff had to either be awkwardly put in the sink or on the floor in the shower. the door to the bedroom was in the way of the door to the closet and there were no dressers to put things in. there were only a few hangers. the photos definitely made the space look more stylish than it was. the internet cut out after ever 10 minutes while we were streaming a tvshow on a laptop then would come back after about a minute. we are 5’9” and 6’2” and both thought the toilet was uncomfortably high off the ground. the bed was the worst quality fake memory foam and had a super low quality polyester comforter without a duvet, polyester sheets and pillow cases that were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. beyond that the queen size bed only had 3 thin, artificial normal width pillows so one of us got two and the other had one and a throw pillow to make due with. i really wish we had stayed in the other airbnb in bywater an was super disappointed by this one. would not recommend dōmino to a friend. also the very inflexible checkout time was really inconvenient we had to wake up super early and sit at the ace hotel lobby with our luggage until the evening for our flight.

    Erica2018-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nice spot in the warehouse district. Walk to great restaurants, or a cheap uber around if you are feeling lazy. Space has all the essentials, and the balcony is pretty awesome.

  • Really great location if looking for a place near the convention center. Very stylish and comfortable. Great food and art options near by. Using the street car makes it a sinch to get to the French Quarter. We preferred this to staying in a hotel.

  • Dev was very flexible in accommodating my check in. The unit was ideally located for my event at the conference center, and was in walking distance to the French Quarter, Canal Street, and the trendy Warehouse District. The unit was clean and quiet. I appreciated both the heating and the air conditioning during my short visit. I would absolutely consider this unit again for any future events in New Orleans.

  • Beautiful apartment. Great location, 20 minutes walking distance to shops, restaurants and the French quarter. Dev is very responsive and accommodating.

    Lymaris2018-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great! you are just a couple blocks from the St. Charles trolley (a day pass is only $3.00) that will take you right to the French Quarter (or all the way to Audubon Park) or we just walked. The walk takes about 15 minutes but there is so much to see on the way. The space is clean and looks super modern. The pizza place below it is wonderful! There is a tiny bit of noise from sirens and the interstate but nothing that was just keeping us up all night. The bed is not the most comfortable thing but that is just my opinion. Also, the tv uses an antenna and you gotta get it right on the money otherwise watching tv is pointless, but we weren't in the room for too long so the tv wasn't a big deal to us. We contacted the host when we got there and he got us right in and we loved the flexible check in!

  • This building is very authentic and unique and right in the center of it all. Blocks from cafe DuMonde and so much good food. If you’re traveling alone I have heard to stay out of the residential neighborhoods at night... stick to the Main Street. Plenty to do! They give you complimentary champagne at this listing so you can make your own mimosas; I imagine it gets pretty loud on the weekends here. I was here on a weekday and the courtyard was a little noisy right outside the window - so if you want a great nights sleep maybe check into a more common hotel. The shower works well. I’d stay here again.

    Liberty2018-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Location was amazing. Close to everything. The place was much smaller than what it seemed like in the pics. Good for 4-5 people only. There is a bathroom in the courtyard right next door . Super clean. Convenient storage closet for no additional fees. Cute patio. Would recommend and would stay again.

  • We loved the suite! It was super clean, stylish and in the perfect location to party! Unbelievably, the suite is super quiet and this was perfect for our daughter! It is, however, smaller than it appears in the pictures...but still was enough space for us (4). We appreciated the host’s clear instructions and tips. If you want/need to check in early, there is a luggage drop room downstairs and a beautiful courtyard for you to enjoy while you wait for your suite (wish we had known this so we wouldn’t’ve had to wait in the car). We had soooo much relaxation and fun! We will definitely be back!!!!

  • This place is even better than the photos and the descriptions indicate. Becky, Rich and various family members were incredibly responsive, helpful, kind, and welcoming. The space is spectacular and made my New Orleans-born wife feel like she was back in her childhood home in uptown New Orleans. Everything was easy, comfortable, beautiful and charming. The downstairs "living" space (with small kitchen area) was great and bright; the bedroom was big, bright, and comfortable (and the bed spectacular!). The extra touches - a bottle of champagne, a welcome sign, and others - were examples of authentic New Orleans hospitality and joie de vivre. We loved it - and will return!

    Mark2018-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • You will fall in love with Becky & Rich's place :) It's super bright, clean, comfortable and well-appointed. And you can't beat the location! Ian2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Convenient location for accessing all parts of the city easily. Steps away from the lower garden district and Magazine Street @ Jackson Avenue. Plenty of great coffee shops (Hi Volt and Devillle Coffee and Crepes are outstanding), unique shops, bars, and restaurants in very close proximity. In addition the location provides a quick on/off to the interstate as well as a very short Uber to the French Quarter. The unit is equipped with two comfortable queen size beds and basics for your stay. It is in a street level “basement” unit and while mostly quiet you will hear footsteps above though it wasn’t a bother to me. There is a dehumidifier in the unit and the air conditioner must be kept rather low to combat the humidity - alas that’s New Orleans :) - mentioned only for those folks who might not realize this and turn the air con off (a big mistake in NOLA). PRO TIP: pack a hoodie if you get cold easily.

  • Amazing Location walking distance to local bars, restaurants, wine tasting room, hookah bar, local stores and shops!!! The house is amazing, clean, very safe with lots of room for a small or large party; The beds are very comfortable the restrooms were big; just as described; Furniture is well kept! the place has a modern style to it very elegant! we felt like royalty staying there + the Jacuzzi was amazing! We were able to soak and relax while watching our favorite music videos enjoying our wine.. all in the back yard! Parking is off street but easy to find!! Checking was easy! had a question at 3am and someone called me back immediately! Laure's phone number is also available- Great communication very friendly!! We loved the place- Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice weekend in NOLA and near the French quarter!! Next trip to NOLA I will definitely book this rental again- Negative reviews had me second guessing but I can guarantee you, they are fake! this place looks just like the pictures and it was very clean! the furniture is well kept... beyond my expectations!!

  • Charming old house with converted private apartments within the main home. We loved that the home was dog friendly which we needed and had a separate bedroom from the main room since we had our child with us. Location is great for getting around by foot or car. We would have appreciated if it was cleaner and had some of the amenities updated. Things seemed like they were older and not maintained.

  • The pied-a-terre was lovely, in a wonderfully restored home with plenty of privacy. It was clean and the bed was super comfortable. It is walking distance from the French Quarter, but is in the historic neighborhood of Treme, which is quiet and residential. Public transit is a short walk and we had no problem getting around the city without a car.

  • This property is wonderfully located to both public transit (streetcars) and walkable to French quarter. Easy parking for day trips. The condo is spacious and full of sunlight. Beds were very comfortable. We had a bit of an issue upon arrival with a lock. While we were given a deadbolt there was not a door handle which left a gaping hole. The owner had tried to fix but was not completed during our stay. The area was basically clean but behind furniture and in corners were somewhat dusty.

  • This place is fantastic, and just as advertised. It is really spacious. We were two adults and two teenagers and it was perfect. Everyone had their own space, and the common areas were great. Excellent location -- walking distance and a quick uber to everything. We particularly recommend Peche for seafood and Cochon Butcher! Host was really responsive. Access to washer and dryer a plus. And there is a parking space that comes with the rental as well, which was an unexpected added bonus. We'd definitely stay here again.

  • I came to New Orleans with my closest friends for their 21st birthday and it honestly made the whole experience and trip so much better .! From the beautiful and stunning views of the apartment that's more windows than wall to the amazing host that was very attentive to any concern we had. I loved that they had key essentials throughout the apartment such as shampoo and conditioner and mouthwash as well. I also liked that it was in a quite area but also only a block away from the trolley that took you straight to bourbon street. Was beyond satisfied with this place and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to New Orleans.

  • beautiful place, amazing location and great host. Close to grocery store and coffee shop (cause coffee is necessary), gorgeous neighborhood and close to all the places you want to be close to. Jason went above and beyond and we have an AMAZING time at Jazz fest.

  • A very clean place with loads of space and great views. It is in a very good location with an easy walking distance to the National World War 2 museum and a short Uber ride to the French quarter.

  • This apartment is spacious and light as advertised, but I don't think it's worth the price. It's sparsely furnished, wasn't especially clean, and security was an issue on the first day.
