Great host

Although I didn't see much of Rachel she was a great host. When I checked in she offered stew in the kitchen and her dog Onyx was super friendly.

Very nice, comfortable and very clean.

Rachael was not home during my quick stay, but she was easy to contact. Her listing was as described, clean and just what I needed for a short trip.

In late May, 2016, I stayed in Rachael's lovely home in a very safe, quiet neighborhood. Rachael is a very easy-going, caring, and gracious host who made me feel completely welcomed and comfortable in her home. I highly recommend a stay at Rachael's home for anyone visiting the Oak Forest/Orland Park/Tinley Park area.

Super accommodating and flexible with arrival. Lots of info on how to access the spot and did everything to make the stay as welcoming as possible.

Great host, nice neighborhood, room was clean, in addition to towels she had shampoo and a dish of carmel & chocolates that were awesome, Slept well in the small bed.

Rachel was extremely wonderful and informative. The house is in great conditoon, Incredibly close to excellent transit, and in a great neighbourhood!

This listing was roomier than I thought it would be and located in a very quiet neighborhood southeast of Chicago (about a 45 minute drive to downtown). Kyrrilos was very friendly and replied immediately to all emails and messages. :) He even left us a bowl of fruit and water bottles. This listing is a basement in Kyrrilos's family's house, and though it's called "shared" on Airbnb, it's really a private listing with a door that connects the basement to the upstairs. We had privacy during our entire stay, although if you're a light sleeper and want to sleep in, I recommend another listing, as the floors are quite squeaky! We live with upstairs neighbors at home, so we weren't bothered in the least, but I can see how that might annoy some travelers. The listing has three twin beds and a pull out couch that comfortably fits one person. There's also laundry in the basement, although we didn't need to use it, and I'm not sure what Kyrrilos's policy would be if we had wanted to. There's on-street parking for the listing as well.

Hani is a great host and saw to all essentials on arrival. Granted the room is a small one but the locality is great with every convenience within a 2 mile radius. The condo is maintained well and there are all necessary furnishings. Great place to stay!! Thanks Hani!!

In my experience here you get a little bit less then what you pay for. $700 for the month was a little steep given the accommodations. The basics were there including a shower, washed/dryer, etc but it felt more like a college dorm than an apartment. I understand they were incredibly busy at the time I stayed, but the apartment was not kept clean including the bathroom. The kitchen is thoroughly under stocked, which made it difficult to do any cooking (no cutting board, spatula, etc). That said, the two roommates are very nice people and I enjoyed living with them for the month. If you are a traveler and live very basic, this place is for you.

I had a really great time staying at Hanis place! He was friendly, helpful and I couldn't have had it better :) Clean place, nice neighbourhood, good parking spots and an AWESOME host! I am seriously thankful for everything! Next time I visit Chicago I am sure to be back at hanis ;)

The description was accurate. The condo is occupied full-time by two students with very busy schedules, so it is quiet and a guest can expect to find him/herself alone most of the time. I used this as a temporary place to live to start a job while seeking a permanent home, rather than for a vacation or pleasure trip, so this worked out well for me.

Carol is a wonderful host! She was very accommodating and super helpful. The Victorian home does not disappoint as it is absolutely beautiful! Super easy and relatively quick to get into downtown Chicago with the Metra just a few blocks away.

Great place to stay, the hosts are really nice and will even have some snacks in the kitchen for the guests. The apartment was comfortable, clean, quiet and free parking makes it a good place if you're trying to visit the city but drove or rented a car. I will definitively consider this apartment when I visit the city again.

Carol was such a wonderful host! We flew in from California to stay for a family event over the weekend. Our flight didn't arrive until 8:30pm, so we cut it very close to the 10pm cut off time. But Carol was so accommodating to our 9:45pm check-in, and very welcoming. She walked us in, showed us her custom made (and very helpful!) guide, and left us to get settled. Carol also checked in with us the following morning to be sure we had everything we needed, which was very thoughtful. The space is just as described, perfect for 3-4 people and very cozy. There were also some light breakfast items, water, coffee, and snacks which was very much appreciated since we were traveling from out of state! Also as described, very close to the train which takes you right to Downtown Chicago in as little as 20 minutes. We would highly recommend staying with Carol, and will definitely look to stay here whenever we make it back to Blue Island :) -Sevrina & Scott

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place was very comfortable, spacious, and relaxing. Much like being in your own home. The itinerary guide book provided was extremely helpful with navigating around the area and finding nearby places to shop and eat. Both hosts were very helpful during our stay communication was great as well, would highly recommend!

Carol was welcoming and clear in her communciations. The place itself was clean and has charming victorian feel as noted in the posting. Carol had left water, fruits, juices, bagels etc in the fridge along with mints and granola bars for the guests. She had put a lot of thought into finer details and it shows. One room which sleeps two, another which sleeps one and an airbed in living room. Street parking was convenient. Overall we had a great stay.

We stayed for 4 nights and loved it! We walked to the Metra station and took the express train to Chicago a couple days, then stayed around in Tinley for the other 2 days. If you have the time, I'd suggest eating at the Maple Tree Inn close by! It was delicious. The Airbnb was very clean and we enjoyed coming back to it after a day of walking around. Almost felt like a second home.

Joseph is very accommodating. I had a very late and delayed flight and got to the airbnb at 2am and he was still awake waiting for me so he could show me around the place. The room and the bathroom were both clean. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Chicago area.

Everything about our time spent at Joe's house was great! He's one of the greatest host we ever had on airbnb! Kind, talkative, taking care of everything you could need, and very discreet at the same time : what could we ask more? The communication before arriving was great, and even better after meeting him. The house is VERY comfortable : great room, big bed, very confortable mastress and pillows, great bathroom, and eating on the table outside was the must! We definitely enjoyed staying here, and Joe's personality will stand among our best souvenirs of USA! Thanks a lot Joe!

Joe's place is great! The best Airbnb experience yet, and awesome value. The room is nice and spacious, the bathroom is extremely clean and well kept, and the overall environment is excellent! Joe has really taken care of the small details, to assure guests have a fantastic stay, with a comfort comparable to the Ritz-Carlton standard. The quality and value that Joe provides is unmatched. I highly recommend Joe's place for both business and personal travel.

Joe was an amazing host and we had a great stay! He was very friendly and we felt right at home as he was very helpful with suggestions for dinner and places to visit. He also helped us find a place to get our car fixed as we had issues while on the road (and you can imagine how much trouble that can be while travelling in an unfamiliar city). Our room was very clean ad comfortable. We hope to be able to visit again.

Didn't arrive at Joe's place until late evening. Joe was waiting for me and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. He has a very clean, neat house. The back yard is beautiful. He also has a good eye for decorating. While he is American, his family came from Italy, and he loves decorating with an Italian touch. The room was perfect, lots of closet space. Like I said, everything was clean. You can tell he is proud of his home, and wants you to feel comfortable. We didn't get much time to talk, as I was working all day and beat when I got back. He understood and I never felt that he was pushing me to stay up late and talk. He really understands the concept of AirBNB, welcome a person to your house, making them feel they are part of the neighborhood. I would be happy to stay with Joe again.

Great place to entertain! We loved the decor everywhere, the table made for a special Thanksgiving dinner. Easy on and off the interstate and access to downtown, Chicago, Safe and secure setup, with good communication from Marissa. We had a late check in and check out that accommodated our needs and made this even sweeter. Thanks Marissa

The host were just amazing, very friendly and helpful. They made you feel like you were family coming to grandmas house. The picture was accurate and exact. Quite neighborhood and everything you need in a store just minutes away. Available for any questions with just a phone call and thoughtful in even having a little chalk board that said welcome family. The size of the house inside and out is fitting for the biggest family. We truly enjoyed our stay here, My wife and children absolutely loved the backyard as well as the serenity the front yard offered. The decor was absolutely beautiful throughout the home which brought so much comfort. Next time we visit Chicago we pray that the Villa is available.

Karen was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The train station is right down the street from her house which made it really easy to get to and from Chicago. I would recommend her place to anyone!

It's so great stay with you and the three little cutie! We have stayed at Karen's house for four nights and she was very responsible and nice. She made us a chocolate pancake for breakfast and we talked a lot. There was one night rain a lot, she even called us to offer us a ride. Thanks for all the things!

Karen was a great host. I would definitely recommend staying there. The only drawback for someone older or with joint problems was the bedroom is upstairs . Karen has a beautiful patio which I enjoyed as the weather was warm and sunny. I hope to stay with her again.

Karen was a wonderful host and immediately welcomed my wife and I into her beautiful home before our flight out of O'hare the next morning. She is very accommodating - taking the time to give us directions and even making breakfast in the morning! We also very much enjoyed chatting with her about her travels. Absolutely would recommend!

Karen was very welcoming, showed us the ropes and had a chat too. She gave us a couple recommendations for the famous deep dish pizza however the suggestions were too tourist based ( massive 1.5hour lines ) and we didn't get to try it. Karen was always happy to help help out and was very pleasant.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience. Karen was the best host we could ever ask for. She was always there to help, offering to show us different places to eat and check out downtown. The commuter train was nearby and very useful as well. The neighborhood was very nice. Karen made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. If was like staying with family!

Very accurate description and pictures, it's as comfy and cute as it looks on the pics. Great location. About 30-45 min into the city by car (didnt try taking the train) but a lot of restaurants, little shops and grocery are close. Nice residential street with old trees. Very safe area. Ann was always very quick to reply and she made sure I had everything I needed.

Ann's place is in a residential neighborhood, close to the neighborhood we were working in for the weekend, so VERY convenient. Located just a few blocks from I-294. Extremely quiet location, first floor of a 2-family house. Never heard the upstairs neighbor, so not even sure if they were home. Private garage parking, accessed through a back alley. This apartment could easily accommodate a family of four, since there is a second bedroom. Ann was easy to contact and very helpful with instructions, restaurant tips, etc. Drove to Hyde Park one evening, got there easily in 30 minutes.

The apartment was more spacious than I thought it was going to be. My friend and I happened to meet Ann and her husband, and they were great hosts. I liked that it was not that far from the interstate. I would stay there again.

Friendly, welcoming neighborhood with good public transport and nearby grocery stores. A bit further from the city than we realized (around 40 minutes by metra) but overall the house was clean and comfortable. Ann was just a text away, answered all our questions and even left us snacks! Not having wifi was a little frustrating but that was clear on the listing so not a surprise.

We we're very happy with the accommodations. Locarion was perfect for our needs. The neighborhood was pretty good and safe. The place itself worked out well, very comfortable and quiet for the most part. Ann responded to my text right away and had everything ready for us. Definitely would stay here again!

I was in town for a job and needed a place to stay. So glad I chose to stay here at Daria's. She is an amazing host and always asking if I needed anything. She would bring home information about fun events I may like while in town and offered to take me to Chicago herself. Great place to stay!!!
