Restored 1940s Art Deco Apartment in Santa María La Ribera

This is a 57 square meter apartment with very high brick ceilings, a large living room and dining area with a lot of light. Find authentic chic mid century furniture and several art pieces. The apartment has a private bedroom with queen size bed, closet and bathroom and a separate kitchen with supplies. It also has two small inner patios for light and ventilation. A lot of original architecture details from 1940 like floors, brick walls, ceiling and windows frames were conserved in the restoration. The project was recently featured in Architectural Digest Mexico and won several important architecture prizes: Architecture Masterprize and NoldiSchreck. Guest may use the whole apartment. You can also hang out in the inner patio of the condo and first floor lobby. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer you can use next to the garage. Santa María La Ribera is a historic 19th-century neighborhood. Stroll in the Alameda Park opposite, then visit the nearby Museo de Geología. Here, gaze at mammoth and dinosaurs fossils, plus paintings by the famous Mexican master Jose María Velasco. You'll find a lot of public transportations options including subway, metrobus (direct line to the airport and historic center), train, bus and public bike system (ecobici). Metrobus Linea 4 norte is a direct connection from the airport T1 and T2 to Buenavista and back. Takes about 45 min. 30 Pesos/person, a rechargable Metrocard is need. Safe, quick and direct way to and from the airport.

It inhabits a green and illuminated space, full of plants, books and Mexican folk art, in a building from 1920, awarded as an architectural restoration project. The loft has two floors, a double bed, a full sofa bed, bathroom, and kitchen. It is located in the Juarez neighborhood on the border with the Condesa and Roma neighborhoods and a pedestrian distance from the city's historic center. A very safe and peaceful street. And about the acclaimed Rosseta bakery for an excellent breakfast! The apartment is a loft inside a 1920 building, awarded as an architectural restoration project. It has lots of natural light and ventilation and double height that amplifies the feeling of space. It has wide access corridors that allow you to pass through the renovated building and a laundry area. The sidewalk of the building is equipped as a public space with a garden area and benches. There is a 24-hour watchman in the building, which serves as a support in case of any need. The building is located within walking distance of the Historic Center, Chapultepec Forest, Reforma and the well-known Condesa and Roma neighborhoods. It is also close to major public transport stations. Three blocks from the insurgent subway station, two blocks from the subway bus and half a block from the Niza taxi stand. Area very well covered by Uber. Parking is street parking, or two public parking lots are located on the block. Someone will be on-site and available as needed
