1927 2 room studio used as a boarding house for Basque men that worked in Harney County. Charming, refurbished 336 square foot studio apartment with access to shared yard. Located within walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and city parks.
A beautiful private house and an amazing host! After a long drive from California we were greeted with a personal welcome note and fresh cones. Very comfortable bed and shower, everything one needs for a short stay. Much better than a hotel. We got so lucky to find this place a month before the solar eclipse and at a reasonable price; made the travel so much better!
This place was everything we needed, it is cute and clean and close to downtown. The hosts were great, and quick to the rescue when I locked myself out. Thanks again.
We slept beautifully in this comfortable little home. The outside looks very humble, but Samatha has worked to transform the place into a sweet getaway. The air conditioning was a blissful respite, and the hefty mugs and locally made fruit-filled muffins and coffee helped us feel cozy and welcome.
Very nice and unique place with a bit of history behind it. A former Basque shepherd house. Full kitchen with supplies. Neat and clean.
Sweet little house very centrally located. I loved the tree tiles in the shower!
This is a cozy place within walking distance of the main street, but quiet and peaceful. There is a large yard and we woke up to four deer hanging out by our window. Samantha thoughtfully provided a personal welcome, fresh pastries, coffee, and fresh flowers. This is a lovely stop if you're exploring the area or if you're driving through.
Burns turned out to be a friendly town and Samantha's place was just right. It was convenient to downtown, clean and very comfortable. A/C was a welcomed addition. The bed was comfortable which is a big factor for us. She had flowers waiting for us along with scones and coffe. It worked out great for us as we were on our way to the eclipse and Burns is relatively close. Spent a day in the Malheur Wildlife refuge which is vast and impressive.
This little place is very comfortable and cozy, walking distance to restaurants and lounges. Great amenities and many personal touches. Very responsive to questions. I would stay again!
