Myself and my partner had a glorious few days in Picaflor. We wanted to have a rest after a few weeks of trekking and this cabin was perfect. We spent most of our visit sitting on the porch or on the bench next to the river, watching the birds and listening to the sound of the rivers which are right next to the cabin. Two of the days that we stayed we watched in awe as 3 bandurria birds wandered around the cabin, just a few feet away from us. We were frequently visited by a friendly drake who we named El Pato, and occasionally a dog or cat would call by to say hola. It is tranquil and beautiful here and a great place for a couple to stay. The cabin's main living/sleeping room is octagonal, the ceiling is high and there are windows and doors all around so you feel quite at one with the nature, and there are windows in the roof of the living/sleeping room, so you can lie in bed and watch the stars (or the sunlight). There is a wood burner, so on the cooler nights you can make yourself cosy in front of the fire. There is a full size gas cooker so you can cook proper meals. Even though it is a beautiful place to rest and do nothing, it would equally be a good place to stay if you are planning a more adventurous holiday. Inga and Konrad are excellent hosts, and did everything to make our stay fantastic. They are knowledgeable about the area and fluent in English, German and Spanish. They were very prompt with their replies to us when we were booking the cabin, and gave us very clear instructions to find the place.

The octagonal cabana is uniquely beautiful riverside location. There, there's a fireplace for grilling. Everywhere around windows and roof allow glimpses into the nature and the sky. The wood stove was even turned on and it was toasty warm. Konrad fulfilled all our wishes. The love Huskies can be heard only at feeding time, otherwise they are calm. Llamas, sheep, ducks run free. The Bernese Mountain Dog "Kara" and the pussy cats come to visit. A real idyll in a beautiful nature reserve with many birding. The last piece of the access road we now paved. We enjoyed the very Huskyfarm.

Incredible experience! They were 5 unforgettable days surrounded by nature, beautiful landscapes and animals. The attention of the hosts was amazing and impeccable cabin! I just want to go back ASAP! 100% recommended for those who want to escape the city!

We had a lovey time on the Husky Farm and surrounding areas in February 2014. The farm is easy to find and the setting is first class. The cabin was spotless and has a well equipped bathroom (towels!) and kitchen for self catering. We also loved the campfire nearby that we used for a BBQ one night. While we didn't have time to take a tour with the huskys, Konrad had an excellent disposition and showed us the huskies while sharing his interesting stories with us free of charge. I highly recommend the husky farm!

My boyfriend and I decided to book with Inga and Konrad for my birthday. It was our favourite experience of our trip so far! The cabin was amazing and their volunteer greeted us at the main house. A fire was already going in the cabin so it was nice and warm when we arrived. Inga and Konrad were always making sure we had enough supplies and made us aware of many hiking trails and thermal baths in the area! We went to the Terma Geometricas and they provided us with a coupon. They also remembered it was my birthday and gave me a great Chilean bottle of wine as a gift! They are both so considerate and made our experience unforgettable! We stayed for another night to enjoy the area :) I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone who wants a calm escape from the city, to make some furry friends, and to explore the landscapes of Chile!

If I had a to choose a place that I thought most represented the feeling of the Lakes District in Chile, the Husky farm would be it. An understated sense of elegance mixed with a flawless integration with nature and all of the beauties with which the Lakes District excel. Our cabin was an architectural delight, domed wooden ceiling with skylights to enjoy the late evening sights of the trees and birds before we fell asleep in the very comfortable bed with luxurious comforters facing the fireplace. We woke to the sounds of birds and, with the french doors leading out to the edge of a small river, we could take our coffe out to enjoy the incredible weather. They owners have built small fire pits with barbecues so you can sit in the evenings on the edge of the river and cook out or just enjoy the simple life. If you love animals, this is your place. There are llamas, sheep, chickens, dogs, cats and the most incredible huskies. If you don't like animals, they never bother your enjoyment of the intense natural beauty of this area. The owners have created an adventure trail that borders the edge of the small river that is a great place to take a bottle of good Chilean wine in the evenings. Each cabin is unique and the owner built them and the rest of this beautiful farm. It is an ecological preserve very close to Villarica, so everything is easy to access, yet you feel like you are in another beautiful, natural world. The cabins have a kitchen and bath, with doors opening outside, so sunlight and the sounds of the forest and nature flow in and through each cabin. They have Internet and Dish tv, so you are not removed from the world, you just have the wonderful sensation of escaping it for a short time. My husband and I travel the world ( he is an airline pilot) and I don't think we have ever stayed at a place that left us with such a feeling of knowing a country and its natural beauty as the Husky Farm. My thanks to Konrad and Inga for their beautiful gift to us by sharing their incredible location in the Lakes District.

The place is wonderful, you connect with nature, rest and silence, apart from appreciating the south of our country. The cottage is exquisite, with wonderful views and has everything to be a very pleasant stay. Konrad is a very friendly and hospitable man, always willing to help. Fact: it is essential to go by car to go everywhere. Thank you very much !

What a wonderful stay! Both Inga and Konrad were the best not only as hosts but as warm friends. They take care of guests more than perfect, put warm personality into their service and of course their dogs are the best things in the world! We enjoyed kennel tour, training ride with energetic huskies and BBQ with them afterwords. It's so hard to describe so many wonderful things about them and their beautiful property in just 1000 words but we just highly highly recommend everyone to stay at their Husky Farm and enjoy once in a lifetime kind of experience. If you are looking for a cozy place in a great setting ... this is the place to be. The house is very nice, well equipped kitchen, lovely seating area and good rooms. There are two fireplaces to keep you warm in winter. We had a great stay with Bea and Fernando. Bea stayed in contact all the time and was very helpful. Recommended!

Beatriz is an outstanding host! She received us very well, to my family and me. We had the opportunity to share with her and her family and they really lovely summers! She gave us information on the area and was very attentive to our wellbeing. The house is really beautiful. It is in the nature a few kilometers from the center of Pucon. It is very well equipped. This house may be ok for people on a tight budget but not for me. I did not stay. I checked into a nearby hotel, paid about 25$ more and it was worth every cent. Also didn't find it easy to tell Airb&b why I didn't stay. Asked for a refund but still no communication from AirB&B. Have to be fair and say the host did communicate quickly.

Karla was kind enough to greet us and gave us tips to visit the city. The location of the house is perfect to stay in Valdivia, close to the River Road Street, the city center and excellent locomotion.

Karla cared a lot for us, was super nice stay with her. The location allowed you to go walking every side, super central. Safe return :)

We had a very pleasant stay with Karla and Anna :) The house is very comfortable and clean and the bedroom with a cozy double bed has a lot of space. We could use the kitchen, washing machine, TV etc and they made everything to make us feel at home! The cabin is as shown in the photos: comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decoration. The location is perfect, close to the center of Futrono and with a majestic view. The beach is nice and safe for children (as almost all the southern beaches, ideal wear sandals type "crocs" as there is a mixture of stones and sand). To "go down" to the beach you have to walk about 150 meters. by the private grounds of the cabins. On the beach you're almost always alone, or with another family from another cabin (which in our case turned out to be very pleasant). The beach faces the west so in the summer you can swim until 8 or 9 at night with the sun still warming up front (we played very hot days). On clear nights the darkness is almost total -ideal to see the stars, and the only thing that breaks the silence are the birds. No noise or neighbors or cars nearby. Juan Pablo was always present, attentive to every detail but without invading our space. To my taste is the perfect mix in a host. The last day it rained and saw that the cabin is also well prepared to enjoy the rain. A big plus: a maid service every day grooming and tend go make the beds. Do not hesitate to return!

The cabin was very comfortable with all amenities and a wonderful view of the lake. Though we stayed for only 1 night, we really would have loved to stay longer. Juan Pablo was a great host giving us all the information we needed before getting there and made sure tye cabin was heated and comfy for our arrival.

Nice house, if the noise from the street feels a lot in living room and master bedroom, but usually, good Livin- dining room and kitchen to share with family, comfortable chairs (if you are missing a wash), the pieces are comfortable suitable for beds you have, the shower water is very nice. The house is heated, it was not necessary to turn on heating. The only bad thing is that there was a lot of dust, earthenware, on electrical appliances, but otherwise everything spotless. The owner and her very aware of every child. The neighborhood is quiet away from the center.

We lived a week in the home of Maria Teresa. The setting is beautiful and the house is very spacious and comfortable. We spent most of the time in the large bright living room with a nice view of the lake. We also took advantage of the beautiful private beach and two kayaks available. However, we have two negative points to note: You should know that the house is located along the road between Villarrica in Pucon. The advantage is that the buses run every 20 minutes to take you where you want. The downside is that traffic is very busy and that vehicles drive very fast. So you will hear constantly that you are on the terrace or in the house. Another negative. Despite the fact that the maid had cleaned the apartment for more than 2 hours (it was not when we arrived after a bus schedule misunderstanding), housing still was not clean when we handed over the keys. Although we are not freaks, so we picked up the brushes and cleaning products for cleaning floors, kitchen and bathrooms for 2 new hours. In conclusion, despite these negatives, this property remains our favorite heart of our stay in Chile!

The house and our stay lived up to the fotos and our expectations. We had some lovely days in beautiful surroundings. The water in the lake was cold, but clean and refreshing. Jorge was very helpfull to guide and help us. All in all we had some perfect days, and would recommend a stay, especially if You are travelling by car in summer.

We spent one of the best holidays we were able to have family !!! . The house is incredibly comfortable and Manena (its owner) greeted us and served with great warmth (thanks for the flowers !!) and attentive to every need, not only her but the keeper Jorge who had more contact and who greatly appreciated . No need to bring anything, because the house is completely equipped with all comfort. It is located just 15 km. the small town of Panguipulli, a path of great natural beauty. We enjoyed the lake every day. Would we go many times (and will!) And is strongly recommended for those who want to spend a lovely holiday in a quiet a few steps from the lake and in intimate contact with nature. I recommend going to Puerto Fuy and visit the waterfalls !! Thank you for everything Manena !!!

Our weeklong stay in Kilarruca was excellent. The house is shown in the pictures and even better to enjoy it in person. You feel like at home. Mr. George was always attentive to our needs, solve everything immediately. The beach is very quiet, very warm water, and very convenient location, 10 minutes from Panguipulli. I recommend it without hesitation, in fact, to present the opportunity would go.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy being outside in nature. Our plan was to do as little as possible and we succeeded. The cabin is perfect, everything you need for a comfortable stay. A 25 minute walk to the town of Futrono or a taxi will get you there cheaply. Patricia and her family are such welcoming and friendly people, we very much enjoyed the honey produced by Tito, Patricia's father, and the fruit from Patricia's sister Bernadita's farm. An ideal place for rest and relaxation place was like being in the forest, asleep to the sound of the water was spectacular and waking to the sound of the birds' fabulous. !! The cottage is really what appears in the photographs and the friendliness of its owners to another level My conclusion is that it is a dream cottage.

This cabaña is one of loveliest places I have ever stayed. We were warmly greeted by Patricia and welcomed into the warm sitting room of the cabaña - she had lit the wood-fired heater prior to our arrival. The cabaña is a sweet little house on a farm. Everything in it is thoughtful and considered with touches that finish it off perfectly. The kitchen has everything you need - a made a delicious quiche in the microwave. Patricia gave us a basket with apples and eggs from the farm - I made omelettes in the morning on the gas stove. Ah... Patricia and also gave us some pumpernickle bread that had been freshly baked. They produce honey on the farm too; a dish of honey to add to our tea was waiting on the kitchen table. We also loved that there were two bins in the kitchen - for organic material and plastics for recycling. The cabaña is clean and tidy. There was plenty of wood for the fire too. We slept very comfortably in the big bed in the upstairs bedroom. A small stream runs outside the cabin and it was a treat to go to sleep listening to the gentle sound. This is a most wonderful place to stay. Not only is the cabaña just fabulous, but we felt very warmly welcomed by Patricia and her family, who we met briefly. Should I ever be in this area again, I won't consider any other place. I only just wish that we were not just passing through so that we could have spent more than one night here. The town, the surrounding area and the lake make this a place to visit for a few days. You'll be very happy to stay here.

A great little house in lush surroundings. The place was cozy in wintertime and must be even greater in summertime when you can make use of the outdoor area. The host was very friendly and had lit the fireplace before our arrival so that it was warm and comfy. She had even provided us with eggs and fresh fruit for breakfast. She sent us the GPS coordinates making the place easy too find, and the area was safe and quiet.

They did an absolutely amazing job of making us feel welcomed! They were there to greet us and show us around the property, making sure that we knew where everything was, and making sure that we were comfortable. As an added touch, there were freshly picked plums and their own honey waiting for us on the kitchen table.

The place and the cottage are just that appears on the page, I recommend a paradise and there are many places that Hilda recommends giving you all the necessary information

We spent 4 days in Pucon, with Beatriz. Great welcome (the Alfajores and Cachapoal GR made their effect). Very nice house, perfectly situated on the hill overlooking the lake. wood fire in the fireplace ambiance returning walks. Very close to Pucon (7 min drive), but sufficiently isolated to be totally quiet. Beatriz is great and has shared all his advice. I will return as soon as possible. Beatriz thank you.

What an absolutely perfect location. The log house is about a 5 minute drive from Pucon, a few hundred feet up the hillside with gorgeous views of Lago Villarrica. We spent three nights there (a group of 6), and had a wonderful time. The home is well-equipped with a small (but well-stocked) kitchen, dining room, living room, three bedrooms (two upstairs and one down), three baths, and the backyard views of the lake are perfect. There is also a charcoal grill for cooking outdoors, and a large fireplace in the living room. We had a wonderful stay at this house, and will definitely return on our next trip to Pucon.

We stayed at Beatriz' place for 4 nights and we loved the place ! The house is clean , comfortable, very well equipped and the view is just amazing ! We traveled with a baby and a toddler and Beatriz brought boxes with toys to keep the kids entertained during the rainy days. Beatriz was a wonderful host and we would love to go back !

The house of Beatriz is located in a nice and quiet area. The house is spacious, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The garden is lovely and big with some old, big trees. The vieuw is simply breathtaking. And Beatriz is a caring and friendly hostess.

La casa es muy linda y cómoda. Tiene todo lo necesario para una buena estadía. Si andas en vehículo queda muy central, ya que de ahí puedes organizar planes para recorrer la zona. El espacio de la casa es grande y por la noche puedes ver las estrellas y escuchar el ruido del agua correr y en el día tiene vista al volcán villarica. Todo estuvo excelente!
