Donia's apartment is a great place to stay while visiting Tunis. The apartment itself is great, though it could get cramped depending on how many people you have. But it's very clean and looks like it was renovated recently. The kitchen comes fully equipped with plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and pots and pans, as well as some spices and tea. The TV gets a wide range of channels in several languages and the WiFi works great. The neighborhood is quite authentic, not a lot of tourists, and tons of typical Tunisian restaurants. It looks a little dingy at night, but we never once felt unsafe. The people are kind and inviting, if a little noisy. The beach of La Goulette isn't really usable because of how dirty it is, so it would be better to go to La Marsa or Sidi Bou Said if you want to get in the water. Also important to note that La Goulette is also about a 10 minute taxi ride from downtown Tunis, so if you want to see the sites there or access the train station or louages it'll be a bit of a ride, but taxis are so cheap it wasn't really a problem. Overall, Donia's apartment was a great home base for an enjoyable trip to Tunis.

We stayed at Donia's flat for 3 weeks. The flat was as described, very cosy and excellent for 2 people. We never met Donia however Dalila who has a shop right outside of the flat entrance was extremely helpful and lovely. There were many shops and restaurants on our door step and the area was safe and the people friendly. Taxis were very easy to find, it's about 15 mins to the city centre. We would definitely recommend Donia's flat and would stay again in the future :)

Hi! Our stay in Donia's place was absolutely amazing , the house is very clean with modern comfortable furniture . The location is really perfect if you are a tourist (easy to catch a taxi, near Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, loads of restaurants, beach is 5 min of walk from the flat ). Donia was a great host , and Dalila (housekeeper) made sure everything was alright and always offered help . I highly recommend booking this property , I know I will do that for sure next time I visit Tunisia. P.S. For everyone who will stay in Tunisia summer time, be careful with an air-conditioner, you might end up with paying high electricity bill (higher then in England for sure)

I had a two week stay with my boyfriend and a friend of ours in the middle of August. Positives: very well placed apartment, neighborhood where there are constant in the world in the streets, shops, fast football, restaurant, very busy, I even attended a wedding in the street in front of the balcony. The people are very welcoming. I advise you to always go out with a man. The caretaker of the building is very nice and very helpful and the lady who runs the shop next to the apartment. In fact it was she who gave us the status of input and output locations. Fortunately, the apartment has air conditioning, we were never in the apartment during the day but the nights are hot !!! But be sure to pay close attention to the consumption of electricity. There is a 32kwatt consumption per day that you can not exceed, if you pay the extra ... The apartment is VERY WELL equipped crockery level, full service and wonderful from the souk, there is everything for cooking. The apartment has wifi and has a very good rate that was spotless! All bed linen and towels are provided is impeccable. The bed was comfortable. I highly recommend this property for a couple or two friends without problems !!! Negative points: This apartment is very suitable for a couple, but extra beds, in my view, is only suitable for children. Because our friend had to put an extra bed in the living room without privacy ... For a few nights, this is not a concern but for 15 days, you have another room! electricity consumption 32 daily kwatt not exceeded. We were very careful and we were at the limit. We turn on the air conditioning at night because if not impossible to sleep without you spend the night and you soak the sheets ... Plan earplugs because very poorly insulated. Beware of taxi who make detours to pick up more money, make sure the meter is running, check your restaurant bill, in general, everything is half cheaper than in France except the overpriced Nutella! From a general point of view, I highly recommend this property for two adults with or without children.

It was our first time in Airbnb, thank Monia for making this first time a successful experience. The contact was very fast (within an hour), very friendly and kind. The apartment was clean and had everything necessary. The view is just beautiful, a view that can be enjoyed both on the terrace, comfortably seated in the lounge. Stunning view indeed at Med Ali's! Breakfast facing the rising sun makes you feel you're on a boat. Very bright and spacious flat, nicer than on the pictures. Med Ali is definitely the most reactive host when it comes to addressing little issues that may arise. The location is at the Southern fringe of Salambo, very quite and really on the beach.

This summer house allows to dream with its sea view and its direct access to the beach. We fall asleep with the klapots of the waves. A few streets, one finds the most lively district of Tunis, popular on one side, bourgois on the other. There are cafes, local restaurants, bazaar and clothing stores, grocery stores, Cinévog cinema, Mad'Art cultural center, the Punic port and La Goulette harbor. Contact with people here is easy and friendly. They are respectful and welcoming.

The seaside bed and breakfast rooms are large and some furniture and decorations need to be upgraded

The house is located in Kram, not really Carthage. Beddings were not up to mark, rather disappointing. And host did not give exact address making it difficult for us to reach his home. Otherwise the seaview was amazing.

Med Ali was the ultimate host he went to extreme measures to accommodate me, he made my trip allot easier, also the apartment was clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Definitely coming back on my next trip.

اولا نحن دفعنا رسوم نظافة ووجدنا الشقة غير نظيفة مفارش السرير ذات رائحة سيئة وكذلك الأغطية وطلبنا تغييرها ولكنه لم يبالي ولم يستجب لطلبنا وقال هذه الرائحة نتيجة تخزينها في الدولاب ثانيا المطبخ فيه كثير من المشاكل ابرازها واخطرها شعلة البوتاجاز بها تالفة وبمجرد إشعالها ترتفع السنة اللهب عالية جدا وطلبنا منه تغييرها و لم تبالي مما ترتب عليه إصابة زوجتي ببعض الحروق اثناء الطهي وكذلك فرن البوتاجاز بها مشاكل أبرازها باب البوتاجاز مكسور يقع عند فتحه وأثناء محاولة الطبخ به كان هناك دخان ورائحة كريهة والتدفئة لم تعمل لعدة ايام والحمام كان هناك تسريب ماء وهو يعلم مما أدي الي انزلاق والدتي نتيجة تسرب الماء واصابتها بردود وكدمات واخذنها للطبيب ومازالت الي الان تعاني من الآلام نتيجة هذه الإصابة ثالثا هو حصل علي رسوم خدمة ولم يقوم بواجبه ولم يعطي الاهتمام المطلوب وابرز المواقف لذلك سألناه عن كيفية عمل الغسالة وهو قال لا يعلم وذهبت وقلت ان والدتك تعلم ولم تتصل بنا لتعطينا معلومات عن كيفية عملها ولم يعير اهتمام رابعا الانترنت كان ضعيفا جدا وسرعته بطئية مما ترتب عليه عدم القيام ببعض الأمور الضرورية وتم انقطاع الانترنت وتم الاتصال به وقال انه مشغول بمشاهدة مباراة في كرة القدم ولم يقوم بشحنه الا بعد يومين ونصف عندما اتصل بنا لطلب بعض المعلومات عن الرواتر لتشحنه بعشرة دينارات فقط وأثناء هذه الفترة قمت انا بشحن الانترنت من جيبي الخاص فاعتقد اني دفعت مقابل الحصول علي خدمة ولم احصل عليها الشيء الوحيد الجيد هو موقع الشقة يطل علي البحر مباشرة ولكننا لم نستمتع لما حدث لنا من عدم اقامة مريحة نتيجة لاهمال المالك وعدم احترمه للنزلاء بالتقدير والاحترام الائق

This is the 1st time used airbnb in Tunis and it was awesome experience, especially Adel was a very nice Host, taking care of everything we asked for. As well, he did follow-up to make sure that our stay is comfortable, safe and nothing else needed. Location is good, middle of everything, lots of Taxis if you don't rent a Car. Carrefour Supermarket is near by, lots of domestic Restaurants around and walking distance. The Place itself was a very nice, modern Apt., has everything you need and more. Surrounded by small town, near the Metro too, safe and easy access to many shops and local groceries. For future visit, this will be the place I would like to stay and I recommend to anyone, from single person to a group. Honestly, you feel that, it is your Modern Apt in Middle of Tunis, won't be better then this. Am really happy to decide on staying at this place. Tks Adel for everything.

I came to spend a day in Tunis and I had the chance to rent the first floor of the house of Nomen parents. It's parents are wonderful and it's a chance to have them met. The house is beautiful, an island of peace. Both bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The area of La Goulette is quite far from downtown, but it is easy to take a taxi.

Home artists enchanted us !! Everything was consistent with photos and much more !! because the garden that we see in the photos is not great. The entire house is beautiful in a traditional chic style. The location is ideal for exploring Tunis. Nomen and his adorable parents have done everything to facilitate our stay, being of high availability and great help for specific applications (with children always the unexpected ..). The coast is near Tunis (Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, La Marsa) in the district of Kheireddine we find all the shops or walk in visits. Taxis are plentiful if necessary. We felt there REALLY like at home. And will hopefully return soon!

Beautiful flat in charming villa - very comfortable: huge master bedroom, lovely terrace over the garden, cats and dog and sculptures in the garden.. Location is great because quiet leafy neighbourhood but two min from a road where you will always find taxis and a small grocery store for basics. Cleaning lady who would come and make the flat beautiful once a week. Noman and his family were fantastic hosts - highly recommend as a wonderful place to stay

When we arrived at La Maison dÁrtiste the landlord was waiting for us. He showed us the apartment, and while enjoying a glass of wine, he explained how everything worked, where the stores were, etc. Then he drove us along the addresses he had given. His parents (both artists) live downstairs and we can always turn to them with questions. You do need to speak the French language or Arabic. The landlord speaks also English. It is a cozy neighborhood. Not far from the location of terraces where you can drink a cup of coffee or something else. La Goulette, you can buy fresh fish or eat at one of the many restaurents. Restaurents come in all price categories. You can cycle through the neighborhood or walk. The bakery is within 500 meters of the house with not only tasty croissents and baguettes, but also Tunisian delicacies and you can buy ready-made sandwiches.

Truly a great place to stay in Tunis. Hamadi and her daughter Koloud are wonderful people and have also made it very enjoyable stay. Always available and friendly. The apartment is beautiful and big and clean with breathtaking views. Taxi in 20 minutes or downtown by train. Quick in la Marsa or le goulette for the tastiest fish. It lies on the small beach of Le staple. I've been there 5 weeks but would like to sit a year. Top!

Everything was ready even necessary for breakfast the next day Very well located near the metro (TGM), individual and collective taxis are nearby and buses. A shopping street just beside allows to shop easily.

The building is great, kept H24, clean, a few meters from the sea in the heart of Kram and not far from the Goulette, and you can find everything you need around: Banana Café at the foot of the building open non-stop, grocery store 1 min walk + a fruit, still 1 min to be at Monoprix, Star Café, taxis, banks, tobacco. From there, another 5 min walk down the avenue for bf / dinner at Oasis (excellent lasagna, beef pieces, varied buffet of salads and good pizza wood fire), find a cheese, bread, pastry, pharmacy and plethora of small shops. La Goulette is 10 minutes walk with its tea houses on the waterfront, shops and restaurants of fish / seafood (the Monte Carlo is super friendly and divine for its grilled fish, Green Coffee, the Spigola that serves excellent soles .. among others). The apartment is on the 7th floor and serviced by 2 lifts, very quiet, very clean and with everything needed for a short or long stay. A long balcony with garden furniture and beautiful plants with beautiful views of the city and the sea .. makes you decide to swim or not. There is everything you need: towels and linens galore beds, empty closet with plenty of hangers, brooms, aspi, products, table / iron, washer-dryer, clothes line, dishwasher (q I have not used), chevx dryer, coffee maker, toaster, fridge-freezer ... I had no need of heating or air-conditioning. Small problem: the bath q I have not managed to use in spa (had to keep his finger on the button for effervescing + water filled the bath too slowly). Good bedding in the master bedroom. Worse in the 2nd bedroom which are placed 2 beautiful sofa beds .. but probably very good for children. The apartment has a bathroom and WC and a shower room and wc. The living room has 2 sofas and a large TV with all French channels including Canal + ... small recurring problems receiving wifi but perfect all the time. The apartment is very quiet day and night ... a point q thoroughly enjoyed. I felt very safe in the area H24. To go to Marsa Taxi: 7 min and less than 5 dt. Goulette for the taxi in the rain .. or lazy: 3 min and less than 2 dt. Tunis taxi center: 15 min. Finally, Khouloud, the daughter of the owners graciously deposited at the airport Sunday morning and I thank him. Thank you for it again, especially q I am wrong about the time of my arrival and she expected me with a smile .. she was contacted during the 15 days of my stay, filled before my arrival the fridge of the necessary small-dej 1st including bread that ...

This tastefully furnished apartment in a well guarded building is quite spacious (living, two bedrooms, two bathrooms) and very well equipped (complete kitchen, washing machine, Sat TV, WiFi). The views are indeed superb: we enjoyed our breakfasts as much as our sunsets on the balcony. Our lovely hosts made sure, we had everything we needed including a fully stuffed fridge and cupboard upon arrival. During our one month stay they always went out of their way to make sure we were feeling at home. The beach is only a few steps away, as is a small store and a supermarket along the main street that has several cafes and eateries. Last but not least there is a TGM station around the corner as well as there are plenty of taxis. We do recommend this place. Many thanks for your hospitality.

Fortifying stay in a very nice flat. We came to Tunis to visit some friends and we decided to book Khalil’s flat in La Goulette. How can we describe our stay in few words ? just amazing. First the area was very cool, in front of the sea with a lot of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. More than the area, the flat was really nice. With a large living room and a nice view on the sea to enjoy a beer at sunset on the terrace. The two bedrooms are spacious and you can enjoy two bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped to cook. In addition, You will enjoy the sunrise in front of the sea and from your bed. We went there to spend the New Year Eve’s and it was definitely the best option. Tunis is a lovely city where you are more than welcomed by fantastic people

Thank you for a great stay at your studio! It's small but very light and cosy. Among a few disadvantages is impossibility to take shower without leaving lakes of water on the floor in the bathroom. However, for 3 days this studio was an excellent option)

Host was welcoming. She offered clear directions to reach the location and offered her help with couple of other things I though I might need. Apartment is in line with what is advertised: a bit old style, very well located, beach front and fairly well equipped.

What an unbelievably beautiful spot in Tunis! The house is amazing, with traditional features including high ceilings and open, airy rooms. It is a wonderful apartment and perfect terrase/balcony with magnificent view. I imagine it is the best place to be during hot summers with cooling and windy rooms. Sun all around the house during the day.
