Italian Restaurant
$$
“If you're looking for good Italian food that does not break the bank, go here. The food and prices are great! This restaurant is owned by famed chef, Lidia Bastianich, and offers what they call the SINFONIA DI PASTE everyday. This is a 2-course menu ($19.95 for Lunch/$24.95 for Dinner) where they offer you a delicious Caesar Salad or Antipasto Misto, AND unlimited table side service of 3 daily pasta preparations (all homemade pasta). And you can't go wrong with their lengthy $29 a bottle wine list. I can't say enough about this place - great if you're going to the theater, near Hell's Kitchen, or just want solid food at a great price. You get your money's worth here! MAKE RESERVATIONS!”

Park
“The park actually goes along the west side of Manhattan, and you can enter here in the 50s. Rent a bike from the park and feel the breeze -- with sailboats and lush parks to the west, and to the east, skyscrapers and neighborhoods.”

Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurant
$$
“ Vegan style food in a lovely airy setting. You order your food and get a number to pick up. There is a central communal table to sit at or some smaller side tables. Either way the food is a refreshing break from the stodgy burgers and fries you may get sick of!”

Mexican Restaurant
$$
“If you like the idea of bright, brash, elegantly finished Mexican food served in a setting where margaritas are slurped, not sipped, elbow the Chelsea boys and girls out of the way and snare yourself a table here. A recent expansion and renovation has given the room less of a bursting-at-the-seams feel, while the new revamped menu has added her sophisticated touch to dishes like pomegranate-charred chicken and pickled cabbage enchiladas. ”
