Neil and his girlfriend has been great hosts, everything just a call away. The apartment is very well maintained in a tip top condition, located just about 10 min drive from Newcastle and is very close to amenities like Asda and Morrison's. I am definitely looking forward to book this place for summer 2017 again and i would highly recommend this.

Neil was very accommodating as we had a very last minute booking as we were between house moves! The apartment is based in Ryton, extremely well maintained, very secure and Neil and his wife were the perfect hosts. Very friendly with excellent communication.

Lovely little apartment, hosts were really helpful and welcoming. We were given a box of eggs from the chickens which made some very nice omelettes and were able to park the car in a private space behind the gates which was really appreciated. The apartment is in a great location, quick and easy drive in to town. Would also recommend a walk in Chopwell woods.

Stayed here for 2 nights and was absolutely perfect. Niel and Karen were extremely welcoming and attentive to our needs. Really friendly hosts. The apartment was exactly what we needed; clean and modern. Bed was extremely comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Karen even brought us some fresh eggs in for breakfast from their chickens. The place was lovely and spacious and clean. All information prior to arrival was accurate and we settled in well. Decorated very well and amenities were perfect.

We booked this property after finding ourselves priced out of a week in the Lake District. We were not disappointed and had an enjoyable summer week using it as a base to exploit the area. We even managed to visit most of the village pubs and catch a train to Newcastle. We would definitely book again

Mark and Lorien made us feel really welcome and we had a brilliant short stay in The Old Stables in Wylam. The Old Stables has everything we needed as a family, everything was very clean and the newly refurbished bathroom is great. Wylam is well located to get to Corbridge and Hexham. We even found time to get up to Housesteads and Kielder Forest which is beautiful.

Mark was waiting for me at the flat and made me feel very welcome. The flat is very clean, very spacious and great value for money. I hope to return again soon.

great place to stay. it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. we would have like to have stayed longer. very handy to Newcastle and area. Lovely village with good facilities. excellent base for walking Hadrian's Wall, which was what we used it for.

Staying at The Old Stables was an absolute pleasure, was made to feel very welcome by Lorien when we arrived and the house itself was absolutely perfect as a base to explore the surrounding area with a shop and pub very close by. Also easily reachable from the train station. The house itself was absolutely perfect for 4 people, well stocked kitchen and the living room was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and happily would stay again.

Adrian and Bernadette were very welcoming and all was as described. There was tea, real coffee, milk, juice, fruit, baked beans, bread & butter available The accomodation is in an annex at the back of their house but you have your own entrance. En suite bathroom with massive bath! Tantobie is a nice quiet village with lovely views over Newcastle. Had a great night, much better than in a hotel and I even ended up buying a painting from Bernadette! Wifi (URL HIDDEN) TV ..not that that bothered me, I had a lovely bath and read my book! Excellent value for money and very friendly hosts and would definetly use them again.

After our hardest day on the c2c cycle tour, we were so pleased to arrive at Adrian's home. He provided secure storage for our bikes before showing us to our lovely room. The ensuite and self contained kitchen were a very welcome inclusion. A more than adequate breakfast was provided before we continued our journey. All in all, top marks! Thank you Adrian.

Adrian was a lovely and generous host. The kitchen was well equipped and Adrian had left us bread, milk and tea, along with space for our own food in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy and quiet. It was a nice place to stop for a rainy night

We had a lovely night at Adrian's Airbnb! We had an afternoon in nearby Durham, then went to see a show at Sunderland empire theatre and the following day went to Beamish, after having had our selfie taken with the angel of the north! It was a great place to rest our heads; the bed was so comfy and we slept really well! Though we didn't have chance to use the kitchen facilities, Adrian had provided us with bread, milk, fruit, tins of baked beans and quite a bit more. Furthermore, there were toiletries provided, which was absolutely brilliant as we didn't have to go and search for anything that we had forgotten to pack! Adrian had gone above and beyond, the place was lovely and clean! Although Tantobie was a bit secluded, it was only half an hour from Durham and Sunderland, and only just down the road from Beamish. Off-road parking was provided. Would definitely stay again if ever again in that neck of the woods!

We stayed for a weekend at Tantobie, and were pleased with the service provided. Although we were surprised to find that the rooms are actually in Adrian's house rather than self- contained, we felt very private and would not have known there was anyone else in the house. It is well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a lovely big bath and an efficient electric shower. We did not need to buy anything at all for breakfast while we were there, as a generous supply of essentials were provided. Extremely good value for money

Rae was a boss host who made sure everything and anything could be accommodated for me and 13 others. The house is a short taxi trip from the city center (clubs mainly) equipped with a full kitchen, multiple bedrooms, living room/lounge and everything you could need. Rae was in regular contact and brought us food both nights at his own will which was a great gesture, couldn't have done more to make sure we had a sick time. Will be using him in the future again.

Host was fantastic, easy to get in contact with and happy to answer any questions. House was a great size and fitted our requirements. Area was quiet but not the nicest of neighbourhoods. Kind of glad we were in a large group. Easy to get taxis to and from Newcastle though and there was an asda and a newsagents very close which is handy.

We came to Newcastle for a training camp, Rae and his Mother were excellent hosts both before and during the trip, and the accommodation provided enabled a productive and enjoyable camp. Having a real house to go back to instead of a hotel really is wonderful. A little ways out of town if that's what you're in Newcastle for, but for us an absolutely ideal location. Thanks Rae.

Wow i cannot recommend Roya's place enough. The apartment was brand new and even more amazing than in the photos. A perfect distance away from Newcastle (only £8 cab ride) and within a very cute village with a few nice local pubs. The Italian restaurant beneath is also fabulous (you get 20% off your bill too), i highly recommend going there for dinner. Would have no hesitations staying here again if we return to Newcastle. The apartment had everything we needed. Clean, modern and well equipped. Towels,tea,coffee milk were all left for us.Roya was there to welcome us with a lovely smile. We even had the luxury of ordering a gorgeous takeupstairs stonebaked pizza for tea from the restaurant downstairs which seemed popular with the amount of cars in the carpark but this made no impact on our stay any way. No noise, no fuss, just lovely stay.Thankyou for having us

Our stay in Roya's apartment was a nice experience. the communication with Roya was excellent, but we did not met her during our stay. the apartment is situated above the restaurant Sorella Sorella. It is very clean, very large and quiet, the restaurant is not embarrassing. the bedding is of good quality and it is very comfortable for a short stay. We have the dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The restaurant offered a 10% discount for guests of this apartment It is very easy to park on the restaurant's car park and leave the car for the day and night. That was our nice experience in this flat.

This is a lovely spacious two bedroomed flat above Sorella Sorella Italian Restaurant. My sister and I stayed there after a days shopping at the Metro Centre and thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the restaurant (with 10% off for guests!) and an evening of chit chat and foot recovery from our shopping trip! The only thing I would advise future guests about is the level of noise from the restaurant late at night and that you need to remember to take provisions for breakfast. Thank you to Roya for a lovely stay - much appreciated!

Roya was very accommodating and helpful in getting us checked in, and the place was beautiful, clean, and well located. Highly recommended!

Really nice place, super clean and comfortable. The Aussie room mates were great for a chat but also happy to provide you your own space. We took advantage of the Fully equipped kitchen and also had some of Emma's home made croissants before we left - delicious.

Emma is very nice and attentive. The flat is cozy and clean. We enjoyed our stay in her place a lot. The neighbourhood is quite and easy to get by bus (Emma's explanations were really useful).

Emma and her husband are a lovely, lovely couple. We stayed in their house during only one night. They were very generous and kind. Their little dog, Coco, is a very nice dog. We loved she! We definitely recommend them as hosts. We are sure you will have a nice staying there!

We had an great stay at emmas. The room was very clean, as was the rest of the apartment. It was amazingly located 10 Min bus ride maybe less to St James Park and plenty of parking. Would recommend!

Thanks to Pamela for letting us stay in her house. We had the use of the upstairs, and it's spacious and beautifully decorated, with lots of artwork on the walls. Her hospitality was outstanding, and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is about 30 minutes walk out of the city centre, but it's well-served by buses, and about a five-minute walk to the local shops. Pauline had also provided us with some basic foodstuffs, and some biscuits (always welcome!).

Stayed in Pamela's place with a friend for the weekend and had a really lovely visit. Pamela was an excellent host and welcomed us with tea and biscuits and a great chat. Rachel is the best host one can expect. A lovely apartment in a nice area close to the town center. The garden room really has this lovely view. There are even chicken in the garden that provide you with fresh eggs for breakfast. A five star rating seems to be not good enough for her and her appartment!

Rachel lives in a beautiful Victorian house with high ceilings and big windows that flood with light. It is in a lovely neighborhood that is a very short bus ride from downtown. It's also easy to walk from her house into the heart of Newcastle. I had a great stay at her house. Rachel is very generous about giving access to kitchen, living room, and lovely garden. Rachel thought of everything to make the stay as comforting and convenient as possible and I totally felt at home right away and for the whole visit. Absolutely, I’d visit again.

Good central location - easy access by taxi or Uber to Quayside. Supermarket round the corner. Convenient parking. Flat adequately equipped - what you see in photos is what you get! Enjoyed our stay!

My parents and I had a wonderful stay over at Eleanor's. Eleanor was very responsive answering to my needs. The house is fully equipped with whatever you need in a home. It was really easy to find food around the area and bus stop is right outside the apartment. My only issue was not able to find the apartment when we reached as the house number was not very visible. Thanks Eleanor!

Really nice flat! We've been welcomed by Eleanor's in-laws and they've been really nice to us. Good wifi, everything was made available to us, including some food. Possibility to park the car in front of the building. I recommend!

Eleanors flat is wonderful: spacious and light, as described. The citycenter is a 5min busride away. Only downside: no hairdryer (not yet at least) and the shower which is a bit temperamental. Communication with Eleanor was great. Overall a superb accommodation.
