“This place is always packed. It has stunning views, so we recommend to go for a cocktail and watch the sunset over the ocean. Check their website for live music too.”

“Half Moon Bay. Californian. If there is a special occasion like Mother's day, the buffet lunch is awesome. Very pricey but it is a special event! Don't eat there but check out Barbara's fish trap for lunch, a little drive up north of Half Moon Bay. Awesome fish and chips. Walk around the jetty and perhaps buy some live crab home for tomorrow. Then go the the Ritz in the afternoon. I love going there for a mint hot chocolate over the fire pit and cuddle up under the blankets looking at the sunset. That will complete an awesome day.”

Nearby, Montara Mountain rises in the protected Rancho Corral de Tierra area. The Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve is on the slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains.”

“"Coffee. Community. Jazz. We have created a place where people come to share ideas, great coffee and deliciously fresh, healthy food. We care about people, the environment, quality and taste. That's why we buy fair trade, organic coffee from America's Best Coffee Roasting Company, right here in the bay area."”

“Really good food, almost everything can be made vegan! Moles, enchiladas, homemade soups, salads and fish, yummy! Order at the counter and go find a seat - I love sitting at the high bar overlooking the sidewalk....or sitting in the private and sunny back patio. A treasure in our little town.”
