I reservated this room for my friend from Canada. She wanted to know details about rooms. However most of hosts could not speak English well. So She asked me(can speak Korean) a favor to find adequate room. I looked for tons of rooms. Then I found this room. This room remodeled recently. Every tools, beds, and even though toilets are all new. Interior also is great. One specific thing of this room is semi-basement. And this room located in Ga-Ro-Su Gil(가로수길) that is one of the hottest places in Korea. Therefore we can travel around that street without any troubles. There was a surprising thing. The host can speak English and Japanese fluently. So after booking, my role of interpreter became useless. If you speak English, Japanese, and Korean, can contact host easily. I highly reccomend this room!

가로수길 하고 가까운데 또 조용해서 지내기 좋았습니다. 또 주변에 새로생긴 세로수 아기자기한 카페와 식당,학원 등이 있어서 늦은 밤에도 안전하게 잘 다녔습니다. 슈퍼마켓이랑 부족한거 없이 주변에 다가까이 있었고 무엇보다도 주인분이 집 자체를 깔끔하게 잘해놔주셔서 따뜻하고 편하게 잘지내다 갑니다. The place was perfect: super clean, modern, warm and very cozy. It was less then a 2 minutes walk to the Garosu-gil. There was also restaurants and supermarkets very close by. I wil surely visit here again.

Julia's parents are the hosts of this apartment and they are great! We alighted at the wrong Subway Station (Samseong Line 2) instead of the correct Subway Station (Samseong Jungang Line 9) at 11pm. Julia's parents were awesome enough to come fetch us at 1130pm. Super friendly! The room is super spacious too and the whole apartment was clean. Love it and I am planning to come back again in December! :)

Minsuk was the greatest host. She was very kind, considerate and professional as a host. Her house located very convenient area, so we could access every direction easily. Her daughter, Julia was also a professional manager for helping communications with guests. She responded quickly and kindly about any questions. It was helpful. Minsuk's toast was delicious for breakfast. :-) Guests can stay her home like feel at home with good price. :-)

Julia's parents place is located in gangnam area and it is easily accessible. Her mum is extremely helpful and friendly. Although we only had one day stay, she made sure that we r all comfortable. She even made breakfast for us in the morning! I will come back here again the next trip.

Julia and her parents are wonderful hosts. Although her parents don't speak a lot of English, Julia speaks good English and responds quickly to questions. Julia's Mom is host, her Dad is quite reserved but also a nice person. This was my first trip to Seoul, but turned out to be the worst international travel i've ever had; but these hosts were part of the good experiences of the 5 days trip. They also made me a great traditional Korean dinner. I tried every new foods offered and Julia's Mom also tried a snack i brought in from the US. Overall, we developed a friendship and were sad to part ways. Though i vowed never to visit Korea again, this family might be one reason to reconsider the decision. I strongly recommend recommend them.

When I visit Korea, I usually reserve a hotel room,but my stay at James' studio was a great experience. His studio is in a convenient location and very close to everything I needed. Also Coex Mall and Samsung-dong city Airport were near by. Host,James,was also very kind and helpful with all the directions for getting there and using the amenities. Everything was perfect ! If i have a chance to visit Korea again, I would definitely stay here again and recommend the place to others !

I requested for an early check in, and Sooyeon and Jo were super accommodating, even though when I'd arrived they were still cleaning up, which I didn't mind. It was nice to meet the hosts and have a chat. I really enjoyed my stay during the 2 weeks. The place is very well maintained, very clean, you can tell that both of them really are very meticulous and want to make a difference with their studio. I loved the little touches like the plants and decorative lights, it made the place so much more warm and like a home to live in. Sooyeon checked in every few days to ask after me, you hardly get that from hosts. The building itself is also very new, I felt very comfortable in the apartment! Highly recommend! Two thumbs up.

(2~3 minute walk from Gangnam station) The apartment was clean, and I loved that it had an oven and a steam-cleaner for clothes, unlike most other studios that I've been to. If you looking for a cosy, comfortable place in Seoul. Look no further! Sooyeon & jo place is perfectly situated just 5 mins walking distance to Gangnam square, down 2 mins walk from the house is Gangnam underground train station and across to is the bus stop for airport limousine! It is in safe location even if you are solo traveler. Easy breezy to find food, even for us who on strict halal diet there is a halal food restaurant name Yang Good BBQ 20 mins walk from the house. Shopping for good affordable clothing can be done in Gangnam underground shopping center. It's just 5 mins from the house. Having a small 2 year old toddler, I can even leave her with my father sleeping while me and mom sneak out for a shopping spree and if I got an emergency mommy's call I can just run back in 5 mins! Voila! Seriously convenient On top of that, sooyeon and jo are the best host so far. They are so caring and accommodating. Sooyeon will make sure to msg and ask if everything ok. Sooyeon and Joan were super friendly. Very easy to communicate. Sooyeon even checked upon me every two - three days asking if everything is ok. The place is very cozy and they labeled everything in English so you can find it easy to locate what you need or how to use washer and stuff without having to ask them. It's 2 min walk from Gangnam station where you can find all the restaurants, bars and shoppings nearby. I definitely recommend this place!

I rented this cozy little flat for 6 days in January. Though small, the flat has everything that you need. It takes only few minutes to walk to Gangnam station and various shops and restaurants. Sooyeon and Jo were great hosts. Very easy to communicate with and they acted on my problem fast. My toilet was having some problem flushing. I contacted them at night and Jo came and fixed it the next morning. They even prepared a restaurants map since I told them I wanted to explore food in Seoul. Would definitely consider renting this flat again when I visit Seoul next time!

Elly's responses had been very prompt and she followed up very closely with me the few days leading to our stay. Jay and herself are both very helpful as well during our stay in Seoul. Elly and her husband are really thoughtful. There's no cutleries in the place (perhaps taken by prv tenants?) but otherwise perfect. They were extremely accommodating, helpful and prompt in their replies. The location is perfect and they are very professional. The location is very good if you are looking at staying at gangnam and the photos depict almost exactly what one would get. It is tricky sometimes to communicate with Korean host but it's perfect with them. Highly recommended!

We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elly's flat. The location was great, close to everything and easy to find and the flat itself was quiet and clean. A great choice to start and end your day of exploring Seoul! The apartment was very clean and cosy with a lot of goodies in the bathroom (great for those who forget stuff like me), you get a terrific view of Gangnam from your window, the metro connection is perfect, also the apartment building and the area around had a lot of shops and restaurants. I was in touch with Harry - he turned out a very attentive and friendly host and was really concerned that I have the best possible experience.

Jay was the perfect host at airbnb! When we noticed needed towels and a travel adapter, Jay dropped what they were doing and immediately came to help us. The bed was comfortable and the apt, though a little more compact than what others might be used to, was fantastic. Everything was great about this stay and I look forward to going back!

I've enjoyed my vacation in Seoul this time and would like to extend my heartiest thanks to Harry and Jay. The apartment is clean and has everything I need. It is at the Gangnam Station and there are plenty of shopping area around. There is a direct bus transport that brings you to the Incheon Airport and the bus stop is very near to the apartment. One of the best air bnb's i've stayed at! Extremely clean, smells great, very comfortable and homey, very new and Harry has prepared it with pretty much anything you'll ever need! The location is super convenient, stones throw from Gangham station exit 1 as well. Harry was very helpful and it was super convenient that they have a very large locker in the basement carpark that you can leave your gear in if you check in or out early. The airport bus stop is literally just outside on the road as well. Will definitely stay again here next time when i'm in Seoul!

I am glad I picked Hana's studio for my stay in Seoul. First of all, Hana is a great hostess. She stayed in contact all the time. Was very helpful when I needed. The studio itself is very efficient. I stayed for three weeks and it was a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. Also about the location. Very convenient, close to the subway and bus stops. Easy to get from and to the airport.

Apartment has everything that you could ask for in your own home. Just like what Hana has listed, and we especially appreciate the wifi egg that was our saviour throughout our trip in Seoul and Nami Island. Hana is very responsive to our queries. Best part is, it's near Garosugil! Make sure to inform taxi driver that address of apartment is near Sinsa station as most of whom we encountered do not know the address given. Helpful if you show them the location in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map too. And for those who loves BTS, the apartment is close to their agency company too! The cafe downstairs served excellent coffee as well. There are about 3 convenience stores nearby the apartment. Lastly, we enjoyed the morning and night view of Gangnam as the apartment has a wide window next to the bed.

Really nice place with all you need including various saops. Wouldn t recommend you to cook there but otherwise everything is very modern and safe. Close to the nightlife and subway station

All the reviews are correct. Ray is an amazing host! The place is awesome. I stayed at his studio for a month. I only had these reviews to go by... and I was glad that I chose to stay at this place. Ray was helpful even before I got there, answering questions about transportation as well as how to get to the place. Since then, we would promptly reply back to my questions regardless of time of the day! The place was clean, well furnished/equipped and super convenient. It is literally walking distance from Gangnam Station #1. As such, public transportation is super convenient from this location. Plus, you are in middle of Gangnam so you have plenty of things to do and eat! There are numerous restaurants and convenience stores right adjacent to the building. I strongly recommend Ray and his studio to others!

Ray was very responsive when I inquired the place. He gave me a full description of the place and everything was true. During my stay, I asked more amenities related to the laundry and he provided immediately. I felt that he was very friendly and responsible as a host and this made me have even more pleasant stay. The location was more than perfect! It took only 10 seconds from the GangNam station and all you need, restaurants, shops etc, was just around the corner. The place was very secured since only the residence can access to the inside of the building and this made me comfortable to stay as a woman. The room was quite spacious for one person and I am sure this place can accommodate more than one. I highly recommend this place and I will stay here again once I am back in Korea!

Tess was perfect. Great communication. She always responds to messages promptly and checks-in periodically to make sure you're stay is going well. The place is super clean and comfortable. This place was super clean and a top notch with modern chic decoration and everything provided conveniently. She also had a book of detailed instructions about the condo, and the location was perfect right being in front of a subway station. Tess is a wonderful host, great communication and helpful information from her. These helped a lot being in a foreign country and sometimes language can be a barrier. Tessie's apartment is exactly like the photos. Convenient location, plenty to see and eat if you stroll along Gangnam-daero. Great Spot for foreigners. Tess is very fluent in English and everything is very organized. The LTE egg for data is great amenity that they have here.

Tess's place is really nice for staying and the view is fantastic especially you could get sunlight every morning which could make your day. And the location is extremely convenient, it's right next to Gangnam station, easy for travel around. There are also lots of restaurants nearby as well as convenient stores. Love the place!

It was my great experience at Candy's house. the house was very clean and prettier than the picture and cozy with full equipment like my house(even more..^^) The location is really just at Gangnam station as described. The building is quiet most of the day and never had any issues with noise during our stay - Andy made sure there were basic cooking supplies including variety of dishware and pots and pans and he even provided us with a rice cooker at our request! Shampoo, towels, hair dryer and detergent are all provided as well - Location is perfect for both business and leisure travelers. It is centrally located and Gangnam station is just a few steps away from the building. Main tourist attractions are easily accessible by subway and for business travelers it is only a few subway stops away from CO EX and the business district in Gangnam - Airport buses stop directly in front of Andy's place so it makes it easy and convenient to travel to and from the airport - I give Andy 5 STARS PLUS when it comes to communication as he will go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is comfortable and will answer any questions you have with great response times Overall I would definitely book again with Andy and as a travel professional would recommend him to both my clients as well as friends and family. Good place and happy to stay in.

It's a very strategic location right in front of Gangnam Station exit 1. It's surrounded by shops, but in order to get to most places, there're changes between subway lines. It's fine for me, but beware that there's a lot of stairs to climb. Other than that, the house have good internet connection, and good for 2 person stay.

Sunny's apartment is a clean, bright sanctuary amid the excitement of Gangnam-gu. It's super convenient to nightlife, great food and the subway, but inside the apartment you can unwind and relax. I also really appreciated the use of the wifi egg and international plug, which travelers outside of Asia will find useful. Sunny was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay whenever I had questions. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

We had a great stay at aunts place it was really clean and spacious :) the location is very easy to access to everywhere lots of local res gathering down stairs . Highly recommend !

Loved that the apartment was close to public transportation, so I was able to get around and find my place easier too. The place was nice and clean (exactly like the photos). The appartment is perfectly located in Gangnam and ideal for a group. Chris gave us very precise indications and it was really easy to check-in. I strongly recommend.

The apartment is very close to the subway and as described in the photos. There is a convenient store right next door and lots of restaurants around the corner. Chris was very quick in his communication as we booked the day of and he helped to get us in as soon as he could. The only con would be that even though there is a cleaning charge, we were asked to throw out our trash in the basement. It was a little confusing for someone not from Korea as the recycling laws are much more strict here. Overall though I would recommend Chris and his place and we all enjoyed our stay here. Thanks!

If you're looking to stay in the Gangnam area, this is a great place! It was very accessible and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The apartment was super clean and I love how cozy it was. I had a lot of questions for Chris regarding recommendations for nearby food, 24 hours marts or how to use the machines in the apartment, and he never failed to give me a reply as soon as possible. Great host, wonderful place, I won't hesitate booking this Airbnb again in future :)

I stayed here a little over 3 weeks and it was great. Just minutes away from the subway (I didn't take a taxi once the entire trip). So many popular restaurants and shopping destinations right outside your door. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the basic necessities. The host Teahyung was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions that I had. Highly recommend this place. I will be back!

Less than 5 minutes away from Gangnam Exit 3, and surrounded by so many restaurants, bakeries, cosmetic shops. The space itself is just as is in pictures. Small, but everything you need is there for you. Lots of cabinets so you can put your stuff in to make for space. Taehyung is a very nice and replies within the hour! From minimal requests to directions, he will try his best to get what you need to make your trip easier and more enjoyable. This is my first airbnb experience and time in Korea, and staying here made it all the more fun! Definitely recommend!!

It was one of the best stay highly recommend the place

1. Location is excellent. You are in the middle of Gangnam station, the happening area in Seoul, one of the busiest areas in Seoul if not Korea. The location is dictionary definition "convenient". The apartment is located in a less than 2 mins walk from the subway station. The station is an amazing place for shopping and it's underground (especially great in winter and summer away from heat/cold). There are countless 24 hours convenience stores and restaurants near the apartment. It's shame that I couldn't try all the "hot" restaurants and places to hang out. But the apartment is surprisingly quiet despite its central location. You will find many building sites in Seoul and noise sensitive people like me would find such places quite annoying. But this apartment is relatively new building and surrounding buildings are all similarily new so you won't be disturbed by construction noise. A very convenient and yet quiet pleasant stay- just superb! 2. Room is very clean and tidy. It has everything you need for a short term to longer term stay. Warm sunny room. The room looks exactly like the photos. Black and white deco with a touch of woods. Modern bathroom. Shower has a good water pressure and temperature is stable (a very pleasant shower is guaranteed every time!) 3. Communication is very prompt and hospitality is excellent. Taehyung is very quick with responses and always offers to help. He's a great host and you will feel genuinely at home thanks to his care. Will I stay at Taehyung's apartment? Absolutely! Thanks Taehyung for all your time and attention and will definitely come back.

Responsive and friendly host and a convenient location.

Me and my travel mate initially fall in love with this place. Facilities are complete as promised(especially washing machine... haha). Host (TaehYung) is a lovely and helpful young man. His prompt respond towards all our queries makes our trip much smoother and fun. We definitely will come back again.

I stayed at this studio apartment for two weeks. The host, Taehyung, was extremely pleasant and communicative. He would let me know in advance about the possibility of an early check-in due to the lack of a reservation for his place the day before. In fact, he even complied with my request for a late check-out due to the open day following my stay. The quick and adaptive method of complying with my requests was a factor that made my stay very comfortable. For the location and apartment, both were extremely convenient. I would always be able to walk to Gingham station within minutes. Thank you for providing such a great apartment for my vacation Taehyung!

Absolutely amazing. The apartment was clean, modern, it came with toiletries as well as good quality appliances such as coffee maker (he even gave us ground coffee!), toaster, kettle, washing machine... really really good. Make sure you're clear where to meet the host - there was some confusion which meant we weren't sure if we were meeting at the apartment or at Exit 1 of Gangnam Station. Stay here!

Joy personally take me into the room, the room next to Gangnam Station Exit 1, particularly convenient. But because of flight delays Joy I near my apartment for three hours, he was still very warm to me about everything in the room. Room facilities everything, like my own home, bath water is also very comfortable, especially rods, and very clean.

Housing also did tremendous clean and very friendly hosts minutes. If you happen to see the Gangnam I will visit again. Give also requires enormous ppalratgu. Much more than the hotel recommended was great :)

Great room to stay in with the best hosts who really welcome you into their home. Location is blocks away from the subway and commercial district, but it's very calm around the house. You can probably spend your first day just exploring the area. The Kims were very accommodating and were very helpful in navigating the city. They just made it easy from start to finish.

Mr. & Mrs. Kim, are amazing hosts; I had genuinely wonderful time staying at their place; so let's break down the experience: (1) the room is nice, clean; w air conditioning, great for hot/humid summer in Seoul; my private shower was wonderful; (2) house located in a very quite neighborhood; within 7-10 minutes walk to major 3 metro station; and within 1-2 minute walk to major street, Dosan-daeor , and famous Carouso-gil shopping street; a wonderful location in Gangnam-gu area; (3) hosts, Mr. & Mrs Kim, are both very kind n wonderful people; both speak English, particularly Mr. Kim who speaks very fluent English; both were very courteous n attentive to my needs, and made me very comfortable at their place; when they found out that I had a birthday, while being there, they prepared for me a wonderful breakfast, with birthday cake; which made the occasion so nice, considering I was away from my family n friends on my birthday; while I was there, they informed me that they were promoted to "Super Host" status; and I can easily see how that should be their status; (4) getting around Seoul, was quite easy, when Mr. & Mrs. Kim, as my hosts, were always helpful to guide me where to go, what metro line or bus station to take; they made it very convenient for me to find my way around Seoul; (5) to summarize, if you want the nice "home" in Seoul, away from your home, if you enjoy being around courteous & kind individuals, and if you want a nice/clean room (w private bathroom), in a quiet neighborhood, and at the heart of Gangnam-gu district, then Mr. & Mrs. Kim's place is your IDEAL PLACE to stay; safe travels, enjoy Seoul and Cheers!

The place is totally match the details mentioned in Airbnb and host is very approachable , replying is always fast. The room is suit for me and clean , the bed is warm so it's really helping me getting nice sleeps. My stay at the Kims' home was a fantastic experience! The location near Sinsa Station is quite convenient for access to Seoul's public transit system, there are a variety of restaurants and stores nearby, and the living space itself was great. The room was cozy and always clean, and Mr. and Mrs. Kim are so kind and hospitable! They were always willing to help me navigate the city and had many wonderful recommendations regarding things to do/see. There was a bit of noise related to construction on a nearby lot that started around 8 AM every morning, but it never disrupted my sleep or detracted from my stay. I would highly recommend this room to any traveler or two planning to visit Seoul!

The location is very good, only a few minutes walk from subway station and sinsa-dong. Mr and Mrs. Kim are really nice and willing to help, it's free for you to ask any question, and they helped a lot. The room is comfortable and makes me feel like home. Personally, I really care about the cleanliness of a room; however, I was very satisfies about this room. This is my best ecperience at Airbnb! Over all, I really recommend this space!
