If you are looking for a campy adventure, look no further. This truly is a tiny cabin in the woods. It is kooky and kitschy in all the best ways. If you are a kid at heart and love camping or adventures then this is the spot to go. You walk in to be find the beautiful aroma of cedar, carved and stone art, and a bed that truly hangs from the ceiling (yes, you will need to use the ladder to get up and down but there is futon if you don't want to use the swing bed). All of the appliances work and there is enough hot water for two people to take (roughly) 10 min showers, in a row and do dishes. That said, note that the toilet is in the shower, so there is a tight squeeze. There are woods and a field in the back, thus a great sense of privacy. The little hot tub is a bit of a trek from the cabin itself (and is a blow-up hot tub) but it works great and there is a little table for a snack and maybe wine while relaxing, so we absolutely thought it was perfect. Last but not least, Phillip was the most accommodating and welcoming host I ever met, anywhere. He knew we came in from a distance and made sure that we had our room when asked for and for as long as we needed. He was great to talk to, friendly, open, and made sure we felt at home in this fabulous little sanctuary. All this said, I warn those who are used to a more "refined" existence or aren't up for a bit of imagination and adventure. You will need to be open-minded and enjoy a good sense of humor, as this place will just absolutely make you giggle like a kid or send you running for the car. But again, we laughed and loved every minute in this little cabin away from the city. We fully intend to come back when we are ever in the Nashville area again and seek to get away.

What an interesting place and interesting guy! I didn't arrive until late to the tiny house and left quite early but Phillip met me when I arrived. He has done excellent work to put the house together. The only difficulty in the house if when you have to get up in the middle of the night. Climbing up and down the ladder to the suspended bed when half asleep is tricky but also part of the charm somehow. Cool place. Know what tiny house living is like if you stay for long though.

This was my favorite airbnb experience so far. Phillip was very welcoming. When we arrived he greeted us and showed us the property, etc. He went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and more! I will definitely book this rental again next time I am in the area!

A lovely, secluded escape from the world!

Such a lovely, little place! We were passing through Nashville last minute and found this little gem. The place was so fairly easy to find, even as we were coming in so late. We were so excited to find out how truly adorable this place is! The swinging bed is so cozy. Can't recommend this place enough!

A cozy tiny cabin with lots of character. Though the bathroom was not terribly private from the rest of the cabin, we loved the space. Phillip was a very welcoming host and provided some great beer recommendations for our time around Nashville.

Quiet neighborhood, lovely clean home, all basics provided, great, comfortable beds. Bruce met us at the house and provided us with all the necessary information. We all felt very comfortable and would not hesitate to return.

This spot was perfect! Bruce is a great communicator, i always felt as if everything was in hand for our arrival. The house is exactly as described and shown in the listing. The beds were unbelievably comfortable! The house had everything we needed and was a great central point for our explorations prior to spending a few days in Nashville at a conference. If you go, make sure you check out Gallatin and the surrounding area. We contacted the host an hour before we arrived. When we got there, everything was set up nicely and we were able to make ourselves at home. The tiny house is cozy and beautiful! I would defiantly return! We especially liked the porch sitting area.

Jay was all we could ask for in a host. We planned to stay only 1 night as we passed through on a trip moving west, but we broke down in Gallatin and had to stay an extra night. Jay did everything he could to help keep our spirits high, including offering the help of his staff and allowing us a flexible check out as we awaited news from the mechanic. This experience was everything you hope an AirBnB to be.

Totally enjoyed our stay in the tiny house. Having the lake and all the great outdoors there made it especially relaxing. Jay and his family were very accommodating and super friendly. If you ever wondered if you could live in a tiny house this is a great way to find out. We will definitely visit again.

This tiny house is amazing! Jay and Sue were very kind and generous as soon as we arrived. The woman who stayed before us was still there when we arrived, partially because we didn't realize it was in a different time zone than we were coming from, and Sue was apologetic right away. She chatted with us while we waited and offered to let us come in out of the heat while she cleaned. We walked around the grounds , which are already awesome but will be even cooler when it is finished. There was work going on most of the time while we were staying, but the tiny house is pretty sound proof. Jay spoke to us about it and said we could let him know if it was bothering us, but it really wasn't. The workers were actually really nice and courteous. We've never stayed in a tiny house before, so this was our jump into the world. Seriously, we LOVED IT! We slept on the pull out futon in the main area because it offered a little more space. We kept our bags up on the loft. If you're into tiny houses and want to stay near but not in Nashville, this place was great! It's close to water, cute little towns, hiking, and Nashville.

Tom and Suzette were awesome host. The house was super clean, and spacious. A note and snacks were waiting for us when we arrived. The house was awesome; plenty of room for our group and plenty of beds. An easy drive to downtown Nashville!

The house was very easy to get to. It is very well maintained and very clean. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very enjoyable.

This is a perfect home in a somewhat secluded neighborhood that is close to absolutely everything! It's a small but spacious and open home with every convenience available to you. Tom & Suzette were always available either through the app or your email to reply within minutes to questions. We loved it there and will definitely be back as we have family in the area. Gallatin is a big, little town that's great to explore while also being a hop, skip & a jump away from Nashville. We highly recommend Tom & Suzette! If they had other homes in other cities, I'd stay there too!

Tom and Suzette's place was beyond expectations. They had everything you could possibly need from kitchen supplies to toiletries. The house was in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood but was just a short drive to the city.

My husband and three boys and I had a wonderful time in this lovely Gallatin home! We found everything there that we needed, and the hosts were easy to reach with questions. The house was clean, spacious, and beautiful in an attractive residential neighborhood within easy driving distance from the center of town. We also found it convenient to downtown Nashville for sightseeing. We would happily stay here again anytime!

This was a great home! Clean, in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Home was well taken care of, comfortable, and the perfect size for 5 adults, 1 infant, and 1 toddler. Tom and Suzette took care of us, with provided snacks, and a nice grill to bbq with, on the comfy back deck.

Lovely vacation property.,.hosts were gracious and communicated well... extra special touches were provided to add extra treats for their guests...very sizeable home and nice beds... cozy like a private home & nice safe neighborhood... appreciated the garage as well... would recommend on a high scale! Truly enjoyed our visit!
