“I have spent many Tuesdays and Saturdays here. I love this historic flee market. If you have a good eye for little fun things at a reasonable price, then this is the place for you. Please be careful of pickpockets. If I have guests with me a take the historic tram 28 up there if you can squeeze yourself in.”

Today's São Vicente de Fora Church, built in 1582, stands on the site of one of those churches, which was located outside the city walls (hence the name "De Fora" meaning "on the outside"). ”

“Portugal's most famous and longstanding flea market. From here you will also see the famous National Pantheon standing proud. The market is held every Tuesday and Saturday from dawn to dusk and sports every sort of antique, 2nd hand, military, clothing and miscellaneous goods the mind can fathom. Definitely worth at least 1 visit. the occasional bargain is still possible when rummaging through these stalls. ”
