Rowena was great and available. She was waiting for us upon arrival and for check-out. The apartment was spotless and brand new. The facilities such as pool,gym sauna, were of good quality.

For those interested in a trip to Lapu Lapu Rowena is a great host the condo is beautiful with a great view my wife and I spent 16 days and had a fabulous time. I definitely give 5 stars. Thank you Rowena you rock Joe and Honeybeb

Great place to stay for the price. Awesome pool to relax in if the weather is a little overcast and awesome gym and sauna. If you don't have access to a car they have a 24 hr security that will call for your cab at any time. Lastly, Rowena was great with responding to anything I need.

Apartment was great, clean and good size. Gym, pool and other facilities were really good too. It's a nice base location for visiting the rest of Cebu. Lots of construction near by and there isn't a lot to do though, will be an amazing area in 2-4 years. Rowena was great, good communication and really accommodating.

A clean, well-equipped accommodation, including kitchen and bathroom. Pool was also quiet and the same picture. It was good that McDonald's food court cafe convenience store right next to WiFi in the hostel part well, but it is not well 3g and lte That the Mactan City more data is not well-balanced, but Newtown is a toxic heavy pieces

Rowena was terrific, and the place was perfect. She was super helpful and really friendly. Everything in the condo was clean, convenient and very comfortable.

If you're one who's looking for a more peace and quiet stay in Cebu, this is a good place to be. Mae's place is very homey with it's elegant modern Filipino design. All the things you need for a home-stay is there. Easy check-in is commendable. The room smells pleasant and looks very neat. There's was just one thing that we find misleading though, we were not expecting the ongoing construction in front of the residential condo which we initially thought in the photos was supposedly a wide view of the ocean. Nonetheless, it was not so much of a big deal. We still had a pleasant view from her place. Although I've never really met Mae during our stay, communicating with her is easy-breezy and she seems nice and accommodating during our entire transaction with her. Thumbs up!

This is my airbnb first stay.The room is very fashionable and clean (URL HIDDEN) lights are beautiful.pool is nice too.staff and security guard are kind and friendly.this place is remote area.it takes 20mins from the airport.40-1h to the city.i could catch taxi in front of movenpick.they don't want to use meter to the city.taxi about 400-500pesos.i couldn't go (EMAIL HIDDEN) taxi around this condo only jeepny.amisa hotel is under construction now so a little noisy but ok.it will be open in 2018.i will stay again one day.thank you so much:)

Excellent experience, beautiful condo with everything you need for an excellent holiday. Condo has everything you need and also a folder with directions and phone numbers. It is a few KM past the Shangri La but there is excellent jeepney service every 5 minutes for only PHP10 if you travelling anywhere on Mactan, PHP15 will get you to the J Mall in Mandaue where you have everything for a night out including an excellent Karaoke place. Area around the residence is mostly local Sari Sari stores and eateries and you can see local Filipino life, which I loved seeing. 100% recommend this place - only downside is hard to get a taxi but take the local jeepney a few stops to Shangri La and you always get one there.

Great condo with many of the little details thought of like providing plug adaptors. Response to any queries from me to owner were quick dealt with. This is a nice condo, within a development that is well maintained. It's location is a little bit out of the way which makes it perfect for a quiet holiday (once building work is finished, but saying that the building work going on did not bother me much), but not that far from the action of Cebu City. You can be in Cebu City by taxi within 30-45 minutes as long as you avoid the typical rush hour times. You can stay closer to home on Mactan Island where it is more a set up of a resort holiday then anything. Loads of spas around, water based activities, etc. Any complaints are small complaints, no fault of condo, like no restaurants or shops nearby that you can walk to. To cover this I did a weekly shop in Marina Mall for groceries and after bit of research ordered takeaway deliveries, but not many restaurants around that do delivery. There are many good restaurants on Mactan Island you can go to. Personally I didn't walk around once I left the development, I either jumped in a jeepney and if going far jumped out at Movenpick resort or Marina Mall and caught a taxi. As you can tell I liked the condo.

The condo was as nice as the pictures in the posting. A bit of a remote location made taking taxis to and from difficult, but the Jeepneys are always available. We enjoyed our stay and found Mae to be an informative and welcoming host.

Condo in large and new building. Front desk security kind and helpful. Outdoor pool was great. Condo has all brand new appliances. No wifi or cable, which was expected. Cafe downstairs had wifi though. Shower was not the best with low water pressure and water never getting hot. However, a nice space overall. Bed was comfortable, and the balcony was a nice addition.

Very clean and new space. Location is ok but pool will keep you busy. A resort with beach is near by so ask about using it for beach access and dinner. Coffee shop and McDonald's near by, and public transportation to market and mall also close. I hope when you stay owner has added wifi, otherwise you won't have it. Coffee shop near by is your solution. Missing some minor niceties like hangers, towels, dish rack, cooking ware, and TV. But great place for the price.

Clean Cosy cheap but area is so so noisy. No insulation means you will Hear everything from area from cock-a- doodle do and EDM Music from Nearby Clubs and Jeepney Noise and construction noise and room is very bright. Really needs thick block out curtains. Place does NOT have internet nor any TV channels yet!

The place is so nice and beautiful. They need to put wifi though and clean the patio where they have the washer, it was too dusty. But other than that, the stay was comfortable.

What you pleasantly see is what you pleasantly get. Clean, spacious, quiet. Pool is clear blue and huge. The gym is well equipped. Feels so peaceful when inside, but outside is a lively city. Relaxing.

My stay here was great. It was a good location with easy access to the entire town. The hosts were very accommodating and full of great suggestions on how to spend our time, or what food to eat.

Angel was very warm and welcoming. We arrived late and she was very accommodating. She even invited us to have lunch with her & her family our last day there. Wifi was non-existent though.

Host Ms. Angel is very accommodating and flexible. She answers every query, before and after I booked her place. The Palms Apartment is exactly as it is advertised. Place is clean and quiet, and complete with everything you need. Location is also within walking distance to convenient stores and other shops. It was my first time both in Borongan and in using Airbnb, and I'm glad that I booked Palms Apartment - made my stay really enjoyable. Will definitely book Palms Apartment again in my future trips to Borongan.

Although I booked appealing to the sea is with a close to the pool, the sea is also not very clean swimming pool, it did not go after all. Anything we went without reservation, but there is a place where you can scuba and island-hopping in the vicinity of the hotel location, was very helpful. Also, I got a half-price tickets for a nearby restaurant. Since the go shopping there was a little distance, it was very helpful. Overnight near it is very safe, but I felt security is bad and walk five minutes. It has been multiplied by the voice of local people is aimed at the tourist people. In addition, very far away to Cebu City, it is not suitable for people to go just for the casino and Ayaramoru. Always at the time of check-in, I think you should have to listen to the accommodation area of the address.

We stayed a couple of days in March at Rolands Condo. The condo is really woow, especially the ocean-view in the Masterbedroom. It's all with Mahagoni wood, nice decoration and bedrooms, all worked perfect including hot and cold shower, high speed WIFI or Satellite TV. We really felt comfortable in the unit. The condo is located within a compound of 3 beach-resorts well gated and safe between Crimson Resort and Shangri-La. There are several pools next to the condo-units as well as Gym and a coffeeshop in or next to the building at no charge, with Roland's beach-voucher we were able to access further amenities such as volleyball, beach, 2 more pools against a small entrance fee of 100 pesos within a 1 minute walk. The only small minus was the waiting time for the Taxi of approx. 15-25 minutes, which we were told however before. Overall a nice experience, would definetely book there again...

The apartment was really nice. Good furnishing, complete home and kitchen supplies. The view was beautiful, especially in the masters bedroom. This booking also included a pick up which went flawless on our end. Also complimentary water and coke for free, plus towels to use. We think the cleaning could use a little more improvement. There was a weird brown spot behind the bathroom door. A little bit dusty in some of the furnitures. We had problems in the 2 out of 3 A/Cs. We didnt have it working in our entire first day. It was a bit of a hassle that the assistants of the apartment lived 2 hours away so whenever you need help (like we did with the aircon) they arrive after a while. With regards to the beach, it was unusable during our stay because there were so much seaweeds in the water. Nobody was using at all. Overall the apartment was good. Roland was easy to contact and communicate with. :)

Relaxing stay at Roland's apartment. Checking in and out was seamless. Apartment is very clean, modern, and strong wifi. For us, it was great get away for a few days from city life. Roland and his caretakers were very responsive to all of ours needs throughout our stay. One of them even assisted us with booking a private snorkeling boat tour.

Place booked is 100% matching description on Airbnb site; host Roland was very halpful and accurate on answering our questions. Definitely recommend to other travelers.

Roland's place is a big steal for us. Since Mactan hotels are expensive, we decided to book at Roland's. The unit is neat and it has well-kept facilities and amenities. Girly and Abraham also accommodated our requests promptly. We haven't tried using the vouchers because we were out most of the time, but there are discount vouchers that they will provide during your stay. There is nothing much around the area because the place is secluded inside a gated community. Overall, the place was great and we had an amazing stay. Will definitely book again at Roland's when we visit Mactan.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we didn't manage to reach the Biri Island where Peter's beautiful villa is located. Nonetheless Peter was always very helpful and i'm sure it would have been a good stay if we would have made it.

His unit has a majestic scenic view both of the resort condos & the sea.. Very nice to spend a siesta in his balcony after an all morning dip in the pool.. All equipments are usuable. Place was well prepared..

It was more than what I expected. Everything we need in our stay is available and more. Highly recommended place to stay.

Ryan was very accommodating. He responded to all our querries immediately even when he was in the US during our stay. His assistant, Joanna, was more than willing to help. She even took care of finding a supplier for my husband's tarpaulin for the ironman and set it up for the race. The whole complex was very secure and safe. Ryan's place was a corner unit with a scenic view of the ocean and a huge pool. We will definitely come back and recommend this to our friends.

We stayed at Ryan's condo for 1 month. The place was absolutely perfect!!!! As stated in the listing, it was a 2 bedroom that has been converted to a 1 bedroom to make the living room larger. The master bedroom is large and the huge windows overlook the pool area and the ocean. There is also a nice deck that overlooks the ocean. There are 2 full bathrooms with hot water showers. A nice addition was the clothes washer...makes things much easier to not have to always drop off clothes at the laundry shop. Everything you would need is there, including: TV with cable, nice Bose stereo system, couch that converts into an extra bed, extra linens and pillows, all dishes and pots, rice cooker and more. You literally won't have to buy (URL HIDDEN) all included! Joana was a great help! She met us at AmiSa and checked us in quickly. She was always available with any questions or concerns that we had. Unit cleaning is provided twice a week. Joana will provide a Globe 4G hotspot. All you need to do is load it. We went with the supersurf999 package which gave us unlimited fast internet for the month for only $25. There are no extra charges for anything. Electricity is included in the rental price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the city! Thanks for everything guys! We will be back! :)

Unit is far away from the airport or public beach but it's very near to private resorts both mid and high end. Unit is immaculately clean also and check-in was hassle free.

This place is pretty nice but we had bug problems. Ants never went away and one cockroach. There's some cockroach spray there that we used and we didn't see any more after that so that was fine. It's the Philippines so I get it. The construction is more than advertised though and we only had 2 baths, as the half was full of boxes. Also we couldn't get the heater to stay on in one shower but we had the other so no big deal. The hotel being constructed is pretty much 400 meters long but was actually not that loud and didn't bother us. I like a good bed and I would say that the bed is not great and the couch is worse. Regardless of these facts we still had a good time. There were lots of little extras in the apartment like 3 air conditioners and 2 fans, washer, coffee maker, lots of cutlery too. The views are nice and the staff really friendly. The pool was great but as in other reviews the clubhouse too hot for a western guy to use. Filipinos may disagree ;). This is a nice part of the island so you'll have to get a jeepney to the nearest resort which worked fine for us; There's one going by every few minutes. Across the road from the condo entrance are some local homes and some nice people too. I would say this place is nice but needs better cleaning. All that being said I would rent it again if staying in Mactan.

Ryan and his assistant, Adrian in my case, were really kind and helpful. Even we changed arrival schedule several times and requested late checkout, they accepted all of the requests. The whole complex was cool. Highly secure and have a big pool. The bedroom has it's own restroom and air conditioner. Living room has 5.1ch Bose surround system. All you need to do is enjoy it. If you need a SIM card you'd better get Globe not Smart. We will recommend this place to our friends.

What you see is what you get. You have a nice view of the beach. The condo spacious amd soundproof A good place to relax away from the city life.

Great value for money!

The unit is very nice. Pilip Tours really prepared it to make us feel very special, from the organic soaps and shampoo to the very classy setup of the unit! Their staff were very accommodating too and waited for us for several hours because we arrived late from Moalboal/Badian. They also allowed us to have a late checkout. Highly recommended!

Hot water was not out.

I stayed several times in the apartments of Philip. This is one of the cheapest of them, but for cleanliness, view from the window is no different from the more expensive, can be a little smaller and is not as high on the 4th floor. Everything else at the highest level. Cleanliness, comfort. I would also like to mention a very comfortable bed. Near the hotel there are several restaurants where you can eat, seafood and other Italian. Special thanks I want to say to the owner, for the fact that in every possible way to help the guests and go to a meeting. In Cebu I'll just stop here. I recommend to everyone.

They were so kind and nice. Room was also great. They let let me check in early, that was so helpful. Room is well cleaned and furnished. View is very nice and it has big balcony. One bad point was they forgot to set hair dryer in the room, and I told them about that 1 hour after I checked in, but they didn't bring to the room because their office is 45mins away from this place. But I would like to stay this place if I come to Cebu again ! Thank you for the hospitality and great place with low price :)

Good stay overall; they were able to meet me at 2am when my flight arrived late. Excellent customer service all around. It should be noted that Ceata is not affiliated with the Moevenpick hotel (read the signs in the elevator). I would also advise guests to bring their own bath towels.

Concepcion was a wonderful host. She made sure we were comfortable, even gave us the airconed room and moved the wifi router into our room (wifi was super reliable and fast!! - hard to find in the Philippines). We came to Malapascua for the amazing diving and snorkelling, and to maximise our time doing exactly that Connie let us check out late. The room is perfect for two, equipped with a small fridge and clean bathroom and comfortable bed. It's situated very close to the markets (yummy turon), and also behind Gin - Gin's restaurant which was super delicious and very cheap! Just what we love when backpacking. 110% recommend this little room to anyone in Malapascua! Thanks again Connie!

Wonderful unit at the Mactan Newtown. The pool is amazing. The gym is nice. There is a food court, a McDonald's, a 7-11, and a coffee shop all within a 2 minute walk. The beach is a little farther away, but also nice. Great communication with host. I would definitely stay again.

Raul's unit is fresh , new & luxurious, the bed is cozy & appliances is top of the line. He took his time to show us his unit & his beautiful city of Cebu. Newtown is in the center of the business hub, the historic Lapulapu & Magellan shrine is 5 minutes walk, if you are a history buff this is like walking back in time! The swimming pool is Olympic size for lapping, island hopping in boat rental is a must if you are a beach lover , you can ask the commercial stalls by the shrine & they are more than happy to assist you. The Mactan Alfresco is just across the towers & restaurants w/ local dishes especially sea food is highly recommended. The staffs in the lobby are all courteous and attentive making sure they are informed of any people coming in & out. I would definitely come back again, this has been a great vacation get away! Thanks Raul, you are awesome!

The building has wonderful on-site facilities: gym, super long infinity pool, playground, spa, rock garden, and outside tables. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful and had all the supplies we could have needed, ranging from kitchen utensils, a change of bedding, extra towels, supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, garbage liners, etc.), and cleaning items (broom, mop,etc). The bed and pillows were comfortable and the wifi worked consistently. There is a transportation hub nearby, so it was always easy to get places via whatever mode of transportation worked best for the occasion: cab, motorcycle, jeepney, tricicab, etc. The hot water wasn't working when we first arrived, but Raul was very quick to respond to questions and help with any communication hiccups between ourselves and building staff. This was such a wonderful place to stay during our journey and I would highly recommend both the unit and Raul :)

Raul's Mactan Newtown unit has one of the best views in Cebu. The unit overlooks the beautiful swimming pool, but beyond that, you will have an awesome view of the ocean. The unit is exactly as advertised. It's perfect for vacation. There are lots of food places within walking distance from the unit, there's a 7/11 and Mc Donald's in the building right next to the condo. But if you want one of the best dining experiences you will ever have, you should definitely go to Shangri la just about 3 mins taxi ride from Newtown. You won't be disappointed! As usual, you get exactly what Raul describes in his ads, the unit was clean, and secure. There's a washer/dryer which was very important for my stay. The unit is equipped with everything you need, and then some. They gym is also very nice, I think it's the biggest gym I ever saw in a condo while in Cebu. That was another selling point for me. Overall I will absolutely recommend this Mactan Newtown unit. Looking forward to my next visit to cebu.

Brand new modern building with doormen who go above and beyond . An amazing pool with great views. Local food within a 2 minute walk. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to have home away from home while in Cebu.

It is such a nice condo with well equipped kitchen and bathroom. My stay here was very enjoyable as the room was very clean new and spacious enough. You can see the ocean from balcony as well. The swimming pool was also amazing. Raul was super easy to talk to and very communicative. He did everything to accommodate my needs and check in process was very smooth. I would love to be back to stay here again.

We have chosen to stay at Movenpick on our last day on Cebu to have a good rest after our extreme adventures in Moalboal for 4 days and to also have an easy access to airport. Cylin is very responsive on all our inquiries. Even though we had a change of plans on the last minute, she still accommodated us. They were also very kind and patiently waited for us and adjust our check-in and check-out time as we cannot estimate our arrival to Mactan from Moalboal. The place is nice, clean and new. It looks exactly what is seen in the pictures. They have complete kitchen amenities and iron (so no need to worry if your clothes are crumpled). The room can accommodate 4 persons, 2 can sleep in the bedroom and other 2 on the sofa bed. You can use the hotel amenities with the special rates they provided on those who stays at the condo but Philip and Tours have a free pool pass for one person. Overall, our rate is 4 out of 5.

The unit is well decorated and the AC in the living room and bedroom as well as the Wifi made for a very comfortable stay. There is another upscale resort as well as a local massage studio within walking distance which was very convenient.

Brilliant stay at this apartment, it had everything we needed and a really comfy bed!

This place was amazing! Loved the location and the comforts of the bed and bath. Never had a problem with the wifi and loved the hotel is was apart of. It was literally a walk away and you can even have room service sent up! My friend and I only stayed two days (due to time constraints from our job) but we wish we stayed longer. Total five stars from me!

When we arrived at the building we had trouble contacting the management company that would take us into the unit. The instructions provided were not clear and the people at the reception were confused as to who we were looking for. When we finally located the rep she was very friendly and helpful. However, one big note to anyone looking to stay here is to make sure you stop by the SaveMore Supermarket near the airport (20 minutes away) to buy all your essentials because there is no other place to buy them nearby. Make sure you buy LOTS of water (approx. 2L per person per day) because Cebu is very dry and you'll drink a lot more water than you normally do. Other things to note: everything in the apartment smells like clean laundry so it's nice for people who like their linen to smell like it's been dipped and dried with fabric softener. The apartment is fairly clean except there were a few small cockroaches around the kitchen area. Once we told the management company about it they took care of that very quickly. One big bonus is the free access to the Movenpick Hotel's beach. This perk alone made the trip from good to awesome!

The apartment is just amazing. Very clean. Nice view of the ocean. You could use an underground car park. All the toiletries, the highest class is in an excellent hotel. Below are several excellent restaurants. Disadvantages not found. Thank you master.
