Due to water nuisance we couldn't stay in the original agreed upon appartement. Luckily Sebastien arranged another appartment for us, with a marvellous view on the river. That was an amazing asset of the appartment! The rest was also in order: everything was clean and the appartment was situated straight in the city centre. This apartment is in a fantastic location. 5 mins walk to Citadel, supermarket, riverside and even closer to a great restaurant (Hao Sen). Apartment itself is spacious and well fitted out. No washing machine but for short stays this isn't a problem. Everything else is in the apartment and works well. It is modern and the beds are really comfortable. We stayed as a family (2 adults and 2 kids) and loved our stop over in Dinant. Cable car to the citadel is great (do the tour - it gets you to bits you wouldn't see otherwise, even if you don't speak French / Flemish). Eat at Hao Sen round the corner. Wonderful Vietnamese / Thai food.

Laure and Laurent provided us with lots of helpful information on arrival, including local tips. They were great to communicate with. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, in a beautiful setting! Perfect quiet location, but right in the centre of everything.

Laure is an excellent host, always willing to answer your questions and to give tips. The appartment is luxurious, big and beautiful! And also very, very clean. The garde is realy big and also very beautiful. There is a seperate terrace for guests with a lot of privacy.

The view from the garden is breathtaking with a fishpond with goldfish and a quiet village atmosphere while being inside town close to all amenities. The house is very comfortable with a strong character and many nice surprises - our four-year-old faughter enjoyed finding dolls and other toys. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, they made us feel like guests rather than customers. Everything in the house was top quality and in good taste - spacious rooms, comfortable bed and towels, well-equipped kitchen. Staying with Laure and Laurent was a wondeful experience.

Absolutely gorgeous property! I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend for a short hiking holiday, and we could not have chosen a better stay in Dinant. The part of the house that was available to us and especially the garden were a huge factor to make our trip as beautiful as it was. If you are not sure whether it is worth it - believe me, it is. We only met one of the hosts for a short moment, but the communication via phone went without any problems and was very friendly. Details about the house were well explained and it all worked fine. A huge recommendation!

The place is pefect and has everything for a couple of days off to relax. The garden is truly amazing, you really have to see it for yourself, you won't be disappointed! Also the bed is one of the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Dinant is also a nice city and has lots of activities in the neighboring places, so if you either want to relax in the garden or want to do some outdoor activities, this is a perfect starting point.

Thanks Renaud for the wonderful staying at Dinant. The apartment is super-central just below the Citadel and the Cathedral entrance. It has 2 big bedrooms and you get a great view from both sides of the city on the 6th floor. The apartment was also very clean and comfortable - strongly recommend for family staying

Patricia is great. She speaks enough english to interact with the guests. She is very sweet and was very welcoming during our arrival. The room is lovely with a big private bathroom and shower. There are nice cookies and chocolates in the room along with a coffee and tea maker. We had a great time!

Patricia is a friendly person. Apartments are clean and in perfect condition. Bed is large and convenient. We had enough of privacy in the apartments. We had left with a pleasant impressions of out stay in Dinant. I would advice a stay at Patricia's apartments because of a perfect ratio of price and quality.

But our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped with the essentials. It also felt very private. We were comfortable!

Maryse en haar familie zijn werkelijk super aardig, heel gemakkelijk in de omgang en verwelkomen je als een tijdelijk nieuw gezinslid. Het huis is heel groot, je hebt veel privacy en het is erg rustig gelegen. Het appartement is ruim en is prima om een aantal dagen in te vertoeven. Tijdens ons verblijf werd er een nieuwe koelkast geïnstalleerd en er liggen plannen om er een keukentje in te maken zodat het straks helemaal af en zelfvoorzienend is. In het appartement kun je gebruik maken (inclusief) van een eigen lijn van biologische verzorgingsproducten (zeep, shampoo, tandpasta e.d.) en wat wij helemaal geweldig vonden: 's nacht gaat de wifi uit! Heerlijk, zo'n bewuste familie! Als het zo uitkomt kom ik zeker terug! Bedankt voor een fijne tijd!

Great apartment in downtown Dinant. The location is perfect, and the apartment has all the essentials. We arrived kind of late, so she left the keys with a bar tender across the river, but that was not a problem to grab them there. This is their personal space, so don't expect an empty apartment. There is a cat, we named him Oscar, I'm not sure what his real name is, but he was a pretty good cat. The bed was comfortable, the apartment is clean and tidy. You can't go wrong with this place if you're looking for a good central location. A note on the parking, there is a underground parking garage about 3 minutes walk from the place, I would suggest parking there, and you will pay around 6 euro for 24 hours.

Everything worked perfect for us. Joy left the appartment for our group. Perfectly located and communication was very easy. Would certainly recommend to stay here.

Joys apartment at the Meuse river is very nice and cozy and right in the centre of the city of Dinant. Around the apartment is everything you need. Joy helped us out with everything we needed, answered all our questions and told us where to have a great dinner. She was very flexible with the check-in as well as the check-out and it worked very well!

We stayed here for one night while passing through Belgium. Well, actually, we stayed in a different, larger unit of Philippe's because of a booking issue. Our place was as nice as this place looks in the photos, and much larger (2 bedrooms + loft). The apartment itself was great, though we did have some trouble locating it.

Joy's place is situated perfectly next to the church, on the main shopping street with a stunning view over the Meuse from your room. I would recommend this room to anyone who plans a visit to Dinant and the beautiful surroundings. The hosts didn't mind us coming back in the middle of the night and made us a nice late breakfast.

My 2 nights in Dinant at the home of Joy Lonchay were very pleasant,my hosts being very friendly and helpful and the location being excellent,the room having a view of the river meuse and the flat itself being in the main street of a very pleasant town and if Joy is agreeable, I might ask to stay again sometime in the future.

Joy is a polite host who will happily make you a nice breakfast in the morning. It is an absolutely stunning apartment, right in the center of the main attractions of Dinant! And for such a great location, the price is very cheap. On one side of her place (living room window) is the citadel cliff right in front of you, along with the breathtaking medieval church and maison de sax, which is turned into a small free museum. On the other side (bedroom window) is the Meuse river and directly across the river is the tourist info center, with friendly folks who are very helpful and patient. We went to them everyday. She has an adorable little baby, who is very friendly and well-behaved! The shower is a little bit tiny, but it was worth it regardless. Joy will give you all the privacy you need. Sometimes she stays in living room or will leave the place to the guests. I would suggest sitting by any of the big windows. I spent hours one night just looking out the window at the citadel because it was so beautiful. I only wish we could communicate better (we speak only English and she spoke only French) but still was a really great deal!

For me it was the first time to book a room by AIRB&B, happily I got a got experience. Joy answered accurate on the mails and phones, she was present at home, she advised me some restaurants. IN other words she was reliable. I can not say more because my stay was very short. I came pretty late and went early in the morning. I appreciate her trust n me: I could go my own way.

Joy was extremely nice and made all possible efforts to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was really good, and they left us some nice touristic tips. The cat is really nice too. Definitely a place worth going!

The housing itself corresponded rather well to the idea that we could make according to the description written by our host. Stay at the inhabitant, we had a room, a toilet and a bathroom for our own use and could have the kitchen in particular needed. Cleanliness at the rendezvous. Small precision: the bed available is an electric air mattress (not a "traditional" mattress) with all the necessary usual bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows). The unusual setting and calm give it extra character. very interesting location for those wishing to stay "green" and (re) discover the region of the Meuse heights by the fall foliage. Nature rhymes with culture as evidenced by the abbeys (Maredsous: Exciting speaking guide for the modest sum of 4 euros!) And the cities and surrounding villages (Dinant, Namur, Huy ...).
