For a town as beautiful and scenic as Ironbridge, you'd want to stay somewhere equally as beautiful and idyllic: we found this holiday flat is just the place! The flat is perfectly central, so much so, that one of my favorite things about the stay was being able to enjoy my morning coffee whilst soaking up the view of the famous iron bridge from the lounge. Despite the central location and being just a stone's throw from some nice bars, it was very quiet in the flat and we had a great night's sleep. There were plenty of moments I found myself thinking "That's a nice touch" - the attention to detail with the decor of the flat is obvious with this; we felt very spoilt staying here. We will be recommending a stay here to family and friends for sure!

This apartment was perfectly placed for us. We walked to the Darby Houses and Iron Museum and to Blists Hill and the Tile Museum. The lounge is a lovely light room with a great view; the bed was very comfy and the little touches (lemon drizzle cake awaiting us) were delightful. A great spot for a couple to base themselves for a trip to Ironbridge.

Everything is so well organised; check-in so effortless and the flat is well equipped. Laura has made effort to describe the options for car parking in the immediate area and there is plenty of other information to hand. The location is a perfect base for exploring the area.

Amazing view of the bridge from the lounge window and lovely furninshings. Really comfy bedding and a great nights sleep overall. Great location in heart of Ironbridge, as we were able to walk to attractions and bars, shops restaurants. Highly recommended - my husband and I will be coming back again soon!

A wonderful little place. Perfectly situated over the gorge with the most beautiful view. The owner Gillian and husband were kind enough to let is check in early as we had a friends wedding nearbyand even gave us a ride to the venue which was going above and beyond. Another lovely couple of days in this fab little hideaway. Just up the road from ironbridge but it feels like you are in the middle of the countryside it's so peaceful. Fantastic apartment, location and hosts. I cannot recommend highly enough!

The apartment is in a beautiful spot. When sat outside you could be miles from anywhere but with the convenience of pubs, restaurants, shops and walks right on your doorstep along with Ironbridge and all the attractions that has to offer. You can stay here for a long weekend and not need to get in your car. The walk back from Ironbridge is fairly steep but we managed ok. The studio apartment makes really good use of the space and we were really impressed with how well kitted out the kitchen was. Sarah was very welcoming and I have no doubt we'll stay here again in the future although if it were more than three nights we would try to book the slightly larger 1 bed apartment.

What a delightful little studio this is! Furnished and finished to a lovely standard. So cosy and set in just the most beautiful surroundings. We were made to feel very welcome by our host Sarah, who was so friendly and relaxed. I would really recommend this place. Also, so close to Ironbridge, Blists Hill Victorian Town, The Edge Outdoor Activity Centre in Much Wenlock (which is another stunning place) and lots more. Thank you so much for an excellent stay.

Lovely little place everything you need in the accomodatin. It was clean presentable and nothing was too much trouble for the host . Great location not too far from local amenities and tourist spots. Great for walking.

My young daughter and I had a lovely weekend away in the cottage. We came up to visit the victorian village at Ironbridge and discovered so much more! Our host was helpful and delightful, the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed, warm and cosy.

The bed was very comfortable giving us the best nights' sleep of our travels. All our needs were fully met and Lorraine was there to greet us and when we left - great to chat with too ☺ Much Wenlock is a lovely wee town nearby that we visited along with the Iron Bridge and associated walking tracks even though it was muddy underfoot.

Cowslip Cottage is lovely and Lorraine has thought of everything. Communication has been easy and friendly and I would definitely recommend a visit here - we extended our stay!

A really pleasant apartment in great countryside. The rooms were all comfortable and well furnished. Ideal for visiting Shropshire or the iron gorge area.

It's in a beautiful rural setting & the cottage was immaculate, but only a short drive to shops. My 2 year old loved the private garden. A little gem.

Lorraine was a friendly and responsive host and very easy to communicate with. We found the cottage very comfortable and well-equipped - a lovely haven deep in the countryside and a great location from which to walk or drive to the local sights. Happy to recommend it to others.

Superb location with a myriad of walks in all directions, and plenty to see in Ironbridge, Broseley and Much Wenlock, (all within easy walking distance) as well as Bridgnorth only ten miles away.

The cowslip cottage is a lovely place to stay. We loved the rural location and the warm welcome from Lorraine. The cottage was modern, clean and just as described on the website. We'd love to visit again one day.

What an absolute treat to stay at The Old Smithy. It was pristine, comfortable and cosy. Peter and Sylvia were warm and attentive, the gardens so lovely and conveniently located near local shops and restaurants.

Peter and Sylvia were excellent hosts. We rented the whole flat, with one room for our son and one for us - it was perfectly set up and I would unhesitatingly recommend it.

This was a great find and perfect for what we needed. Nice homely place to stay with a pub 2 mins away and only 10 minutes to the telford international centre. I would highly recommend and would stay again

Without hesitation I would stay here again. The Smithy is beautifully done, spotlessly clean and in a lovely location. The beds in both rooms were very comfortable and showers excellent. Peter was a lovely host and supplying milk, bread, tea etc was a great addition. Thank you.

Very comfortable home that easily accommodates two couples both with their own bathrooms. Peter is an excellent host and very welcoming. Great having breakfast things left for us. We only stayed for one night but would definitely come back if ever staying in the area again.

Peter was extremely helpful and friendly, even going to the bother of popping down to the local pub to book us a table as we were arriving a little late. The Old Smithy is a perfect stopping off place for anyone journeying to mid or North Wales as it is just 5 minutes off the M54 with a pub within walking distance. Very comfortable room. Excellent value.

The place is so clean and comfortable. Sara, Phil (and the doggies) are all so friendly with great suggestions and the breakfast was yummy. We had a delightful, quiet stay, highly recommend.

Moreton Hall Farm is situated in beautiful countryside near Newport in Shropshire. Sara and Phil are excellent hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. The accommodation is very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We would not hesitate to recommend this to others especially if you want a peaceful relaxing break.

I had a lovely time staying at the Old Smithy in Tong. Peter and his wife were so sweet and helpful. I was visiting for a friends wedding so only there for 1 night, and it was a perfect spot, very clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and great shower. Peters wife even ironed my shirt so I looked smart for the wedding. The space has a great sitting room and small kitchen with a good size bedroom and en-suite. It was very quiet and peaceful. There is a space to park your car just outside and the garden is very well looked after. All in all a great visit. I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I had a really relaxing stay with Peter and Sylvia, and we would highly recommend The Old Smithy. The accommodation is of a high standard, with a very comfortable bed and wonderful power shower. Everything was impeccably clean, and we had everything we needed for a peaceful stay in the countryside. Peter and Sylvia were fantastic hosts, always friendly and helpful an we even returned home with bags full of apples and plums from their trees. Don't hesitate to stay here, I couldn't fault it and we have certainly returned home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Thank you Peter and Sylvia, hope we will return.

The Old Smithy is very comfortable and clean, and maintained to a high standard. The lawn and garden provide a beautiful place to relax, and Peter is attentive and friendly as a host. Easy to find, good off-street parking, and handy to the Bell Inn for dining. If you stay at the right time of year, you may even get some birthday cake! Highly recommended.

A lovely little cottage that provided home from home for the week whilst working in the area. Spotlessly clean, toasty warm and very nicely furnished it was lovely to come back to every night. The wonderful garden full of flowers gives a lovely relaxing feel. Peter & Sylvia are very caring and friendly hosts and lots of little touches made my stay very pleasurable. Took Peter's recommendation of a quick evening walk to the village church and well worth a visit, very unusual and steeped in history. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Old Smithy.

I absolutely recommend Peters place, it surprised me how clean and beautifully decorated it was as soon as I walked in. I believe that it is a short distance from Birmingham and it will make a very pleasant stay even for business travelers with the car. If you do stay in the area, don't miss the local church and of course RAF museum near by. I will definitively come back!

It's not the Ritz but it does the job for a short stay! Everything is as advertised and the value is ok. The only problem we had was a somewhat dirty kitchen. My guess is this was a one off oversight though as the rest of the apartment was very clean. Check in and out was very easy.

We had a good stay. We were very happy that Tanya could help us out last minute. The only slight downside is that the property is situated on a busy road, but to be honest we were so tired in evening that we still slept reasonably well. It would be nice to have access to cleaning products but then I might have been spoiled previously when I stayed in one of Tanya's properties. Thank you again!!!

Great place, lovely host!

My fiancee and I had the most fabulous time in Sambrook. Di was extremely warm, welcoming and accommodating and this even began before we arrived! Di was in touch through the app and offered to book us in to a local restaurant for dinner, even changing the reservation a couple of times on our behalf to suit our requirements. We were also late arriving but Di was there to welcome us and give us a quick tour of the space. As previously stated the photos simply do not do this gorgeous space justice! Once a garage, it has been lovelingly converted into a split level living space. Everything is new with modern amenities but still with a cottage -like charm and cosiness. Di and her husband Tony live in the main house and both overlook their manicured gardens and onward to rolling fields. They had also provided, wine and beer, orange juice, fruit, bread, milk, jams and pastries. All was free apart from the beer and wine but this was clearly labelled. There was also shower gel in the bathroom - all of which were a lovely touch and ensured our stay was enjoyable. The area is picturesque with many walks and areas of interest a short car drive away.

Handy location, clean and tidy with towels and linen provided - communication was fab, and was a pleasant stay that we are hoping to revisit regularly!

The apartment was comfortable but not clean. The oven was very dirty, the bathroom exhaust fan did not work and the bin smelt bad when we arrived. Also one of the small beds collapsed while being slept on.

Tanya was easy to contact and the place was nice. Easy access and parking. Area was pretty run down but 5 mins away was a great retail park with plenty of shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfy! Overall great place to stay for such a good price!

The apartment was pretty nice, especially for the money we paid. Set in a good location where a high street was nearby. My time at the apartment was very pleasant. However I was hugely disappointed with the cooperation of the host; there was a large lack of communication at times, which was frustrating when I had a inquiry about the apartment. We also had to pay for damages to the apartment we didn't break. Overall the experience was definitely worth it but the maintenance required to organise it was unnecessary.
