Beautiful and comfortable house in a great location! You will need to rent a car to be able to move around the Sacred Valley, but you are 10 minutes away from restaurants and shops (there is a small shop a 10-minute walk away). If you rent a car, make sure it is not cumbersome to turn around; the garage is narrow. The highlight was to wake up and see the wonderful landscape spreading just outside your bedroom windows! Excellent place to take the whole family on a trip! Alejandro was a great host, arranging everything and communicating with us constantly to find out if everything was going as planned. Great Place!

Alejandro was very friendly and the communication was perfect at all times. The house is very spacious and adjoins a charming rustic touch. It has all the amenities (including full bathrooms for each room). Very well located and quiet. We had a great time with my family. Strongly recommended!

Julio and Carolinas house was amazing. The pictures are very accurate and the house is beautiful. They were incredibly accommodating setting up a dinner with a private chef for us (which I highly recommend) and a great hike. The house can easily fit up to 10 people comfortably. I would absolutely stay there again (and I am very picky!) and recommend it to anyone traveling to Peru.

The PERFECT AirBnb experience!! I cannot stress enough how great this stay was for us (a total of 10 people). We stayed at Julio and Carolina's place for two nights before beginning our 4-day Saltanky trek to Machu Picchu. The place was immaculate and extremely comfortable! All of us were easily accommodated there and I feel the place could have comfortably accommodated another 3-4 people. One of our favorite things were the waterfall showers in all bathrooms! Every detail was catered for, including cooked breakfast (which was terrific)! As for the hosts, they were simply great. Both very extremely responsive and went above and beyond the call of duty. I contacted them to arrange transport from Cusco airport, and founds the drivers waiting for us at baggage check! Julio and Carolina also arranged a biking tour for our group and even made restaurant reservations for us! I would definitely stay here again if I am ever back!! Cannot recommend the house and the hosts enough! Thank you Julio and Carolina for being a large part of our once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Everything about Julio's place is the way that the pictures portray it. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house is quite far from the main town but there is so much beauty to take in by just sitting in the years that there is no real need to go anywhere. Marleny whom was sent to help us was such great help, she made delicious breakfasts and helped us with directions and travel. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway. I will definitely be going back on my next sacred valley visit.

July and Carolina, were watching us all the time. They answered all messages and also we suggested a number of activities we could do during our stay with children. The house is very cozy, comfortable, spacious and full of nice details: wool blankets, wood for the campfire and even flowers in every room. The service person is very diligent and willing to help in whatever is needed, plus it serves delicious breakfast and kept the house spotless. The condo is close to the road, in a very quiet area and surrounded by nature. We are very grateful for the hospitality and warm welcome close. In fact back to this shelter the next time we travel to the magical Cusco.

Even more beautiful than the pictures suggest !!! This has to have been one of our best Airbnb experiences yet (out of many good ones) - the house is stunning, brilliantly designed and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible and there is so much to do in easy reach with the house as a base in the Sacred Valley. Diego and Miriam were super attentive and supportive before and during our stay, and we were really well looked after by Juanita and Rudy at the house. Thank you all so much for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. We cannot recommend staying here highly enough !

This was a five star Experience in a true Peruvian house. The house was very clean and the family is extremely kind. The food is wonderful and fresh from the farm. This is a Peruvian house and is rustic to European or North American standards but there is plenty to fall in love with including feeding guinea pigs, chickens and geese, amazing stars at night, helping with simple chores around the farm if interested and the wonderful tours that Valerio can take you on. Our children didn't want to leave. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our time here. The hosts were very welcoming and did everything to give us an authentic experience. You live as they do, the meals were fantastic and they helped us experience the sacred valley how we wanted it. Our boys really enjoyed the down time on the farm.

The house was just perfect for us! We felt home a way from home. Everything was so great- the shower was the BEST shower i had in Peru. The bed linens smelled so great, the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. And of course the view was stunning. Melissa gave a great service. We wish to come back again! Thank you Melissa!!

This was a lovely house in a quiet but convenient and stunningly beautiful part of the Sacred Valley. Melissa was an attentive host who checked in frequently and even found a high chair for one of our kids. The house might be challenging for some families with children as there is no tv and limited internet, but we had an amazing time and would love to come back in the future.

Melissa’s house is super tranquil. Beautiful views, spacious, excellent hot shower, no outside noise. Safe neighborhood. Loved waking up and seeing the mountains all day long. Fire place is a big plus. Going to miss it, loved it there!

The area is secluded, if you are not into nature ...and some bugs this is not the best place for you. However if you are looking for beautiful views and a comfy place to stay in the middle of the sacred valley this is it. Grab your chance while you can!

The house is spacious and brightly lit, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and hot shower (not lukewarm, really warm, with decent pressure... if you've been anywhere else in Peru you know how rare that is). An amazing view of the sacred valley can be enjoyed in the garden, and a few nice hike trails start right at the door. The house is in the middle of the countryside, 2 minutes walk from Yucay. The town is quiet and safe, and has a few shops for basic needs. Urubamba can be reached in 10 minutes by combi or mototaxi. The host was always quick to respond to our questions, and was very helpful. Do note that there is no WiFi, but we were given a sim card for mobile Internet (this served our needs, but the signal can be erratic). We spent 3 weeks in this gorgeous place and we would have loved to stay longer.

The house in Yucay was exactly what we wanted! It is comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home. His view of the valley, the decor and style, you can enjoy the tranquility of the place. We were able to find the tranquility she so wanted for our vacation. Come back some other time!

This apartment on the main road of Yucay was very pleasant to stay at and was a great value. It is a good spot to start from for exploring the rest of the Sacred Valley, and it is nice to be a bit removed from the tourist hubs. You get the whole house to yourself (including a cute balcony) and can come and go as you please. The host Victoria is also very accommodating and will provide with as much information and guidance as you might need.

The stay at Victoria's house was perfect. We missed nothing. A big house: two sleeping rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and the living room. But the best was Victoria's hospitality. She wrote us how to get to the place. When we were there she took us from the bus and showed us Yukay and Urubamba. The company of her was great and we had really interesting talks. After the stay, Yukay was something really special for us. A town with heart and lots of great people.

If you're looking for a local experience or a cozy place to stay at, this is it! I had a great time staying at Victoria's place - it was clean, there was warm water, a comfortable bed, and a terrace where you can do laundry or just admire the breathtaking view of the mountains. Upon arriving, Victoria showed me around town, explained how to get around using the local shared rides called combis, and even shared with me the history of the town, and took me to the town's archaeological site (often overlooked for the other famous sites). She also allowed me to drop off my bags a little early while I went to Machu Picchu and helped me get a collectivo when I left to Cusco. The town is small but the locals are amazing! So nice and always willing to help you. There's lots of convenience stores and at night lots of restaurants open up. If you need more variety, Urubamba is a 5 min ride in combi; there you'll find bakeries, restaurants, ATM (BBVA & Scotiabank are close to the gas station), and the collectivo terminal to go to Ollantaytambo, Cusco or Chinchero. It was very easy for me to visit all the archaeological sites in El Valle Sagrado from Victoria's place. Long story short, I highly recommend Victoria! I would definitely stay with her again when I return to Peru.
