The cottage was brand new, beautiful and very clean, the quiet and calm place and the family of friendly and discreet Helen. We would gladly stayed more than two days!

Helen, Eric and their children were so hospitable and kind to us. They did everything in their power to be accommodating and make our stay amazing. We didn't want to leave! The place is exactly as described. It's out in the country and its very relaxing and peaceful out there. I would highly recommend staying here.

We were very well received by Brigitte and Lionel. The room, garden and setting in general is great. We have common interests: permaculture, gardening, painting and sculpture. When discussing, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the next day was organized a day on the wild edible in their garden. We harvested, cooked and lunched together. It was an unforgettable day.

Great stay just outside Treignat in a country setting. Lovely view from the room looking out over the fields and a big garden to sit in. Brigitte and Lionnel were very welcoming and helpful and the room was great. Very airy and roomy. Mystique, the dog, was great fun and friendly. Placed near the lovely town of Boussac where I would recommend the Cafe des Sports. Montlucon, a bigger town, on the river Cher is very historic and well worth a visit and only 30 minutes away. Many thanks to both my hosts.

I could appreciate the culinary skills of Brigitte during dinner made with products from their garden. Lieu calme et plein de charme. Très bon accueil, Brigitte et Lionel ont été très disponibles et nous ont fait partager leur expérience sur leur environnement (permaculture, poulailler, .. ). Nous conseillons vivement de faire étape chez eux.

Brigitte et Lionel ont crée un vrai havre de paix ! J'ai séjourné plus de deux semaines dans la yourte entouré de la nature, au calme et dans la sérénité, avec des compagnons comme des grenouilles et des libellules dans la mare ;)) Leur acceuil etait chaleureux et attentioné. Je recommanderais sans conditions a des personnes souhaitant faite une pause dans leur vie et se ressourser.

La petite table pour prendre le petit-déjeuner est très agréable, ainsi que les gros poufs pour se détendre. Accès privé à une salle de bain/ toilettes et à un coin cuisine et petit-déjeuner compris succulent ! On recommande vivement !

Charming place with simplicity and great comfort, surrounded by beautiful nature, idilic for peace & quite.

Very nice location in a quiet environment. Erica and Rob are very friendly and are always up for a chat. The cottage was recently renovated and looked good, neat and clean.

Très bel endroit pour un moment de nature et de calme. Un petit plongeon dans la piscine très agréable et les délicieux repas d'Erica ne manqueront pas de vous séduire. Le gîte est confortable et très propre. Un peu excentré de la maison, il fait bon s'y reposer. La propriété où vivent heureux cochons, chien, chats, ânes et cheval très bucolique.

een zeer gastvrije gastheer en schoon appartement, comfortabel en plezierig. We hebben net de nacht doorgebracht zodat we niet de keuken te gebruiken maar het ziet er erg mooi uit. Jammer dat de badkamer en het toilet gaat niet helemaal dicht ten opzichte van de rest van de kamer. De kussens zijn een beetje hard, maar het beddengoed is uitstekend. De studio is volledig onafhankelijk, dus het is erg handig om er te komen of te verlaten op elk gewenst moment zonder te storen.

Ontvangen door een charmante jonge stel, ik had een geweldige avond en ik genoten van een zeer goed diner met groenten uit de tuin. Dit alles zeer geruststellend na een lange dag wandelen.

Paul's place is very tranquil and quirky. Whilst Paul was very helpful and encouraged us to contact him if we needed anything, we could not help but be disappointed with the standard of cleanliness. The whole house felt like it hadn't been inhabited or cleaned for some time. Everything needed washing before we felt we could use it. It was such a shame because the house could be beautiful. The swimming pool also needed a thorough clean

Calm and rest nice chalet

Very good accommodation for a night of step. extend stay in warmer weather!

Great place, remote, really quite out of main season. We used it for overnight stay on our way to Spain. House was well equipped.

Good home, quiet, well amenagé cottage, ideal for nature lovers, reasonable price. Tip: For electric heaters put in operation and wait 10 minutes for it heats. David H

Site entretenu et agréable ( plan d'eau, aire de jeux pour les enfants, resto à proximité). Le chalet est très bien équipé. cependant, le ménage n'a pas été fait le jour de notre arrivée (poussières, bouteilles de bière vides,...) et l'odeur de parfum d'intérieur était beaucoup trop forte. Dommage!

A éviter! Voie ferrée à 20 m Bloc sanitaire du camping devant le chalet (à 10 m), autant dire que vous compterez les MAL, WC, douches.... Ménage inexistant (ne regardez pas sous les lit, vous partiriez sur le champ....) Vaisselle rangée sale, poubelles non vidées, barbecue plein de mégots.... Eau de l’étang assez sale Dommage car l’ensemble du lieu est assez beau.....

An ideal environment to relax in the heart of nature. I appreciated the quality of the home of Thierry and Chrystèle, perfect hosts who ensure the comfort of the living room. The region is rich in discoveries and I highly recommend this property.

Lost in the countryside, home of Thierry and Christelle is an oasis of calm. The room is well represented on the photo. A couple according to simple human values that lead back to the basics. Thank you to you for this night out of time.

The gite of Judith and Paul is truly fabulous. The family makes you feel right at home. They are very helpfull and sociable. The gite is situaties on the characteristic old farm complex, making you feel part of French farmlife right away with all kinds of animals included. Plenty of privacy though, when you need it. The Pool, trampoline and ofcourse the animals are paradise for children. Paul, as a carpenter, really fixed the old barn into a nice little house with all essentials included. Decoration is French brocante with good eye for details. Conclusion: a true recommendation!

Judith and her family received us very warm and welcoming. On request they were also kind enough to provide a perfect breakfast. The house is wonderfully peaceful and rustic, near beautiful countryside. And finally we would everyone on Friday warmly recommend the pizza night!

Judith and family were great hosts for our three day stay. The house is a wonderfully reconstructed farm building with ducks, chickens and a goat all roaming in a spacious shared outdoor space. There is also a pool (ideal for kids) and a hammock zone under the trees For the adults. Judith was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit with the children. We would definitely visit again when travelling south.
