Russi was a very accommodating and attentive host. The space was clean and comfortable with access to a refrigerator, which we greatly appreciated. The setting was really beautiful, especially staying here when the fall foliage was in full. It was a perfect place for us to stay while showing my work at a nearby craft show.

I stayed at Russi's place for two weeks while on assignment in Purchase NY. Quiet, serene, stress-free accomodations you will find here. The apartment is located below the main house with an entrance from the garage or the garden. The weather was snowy and cold during my stay, so I always used the garage. There is a sauna and laundry facilities and simple, functional furniture. Excellent wifi allowed me to work even when snowed in one day. Did I say there is a sauna! Great spot, convenient to Metro North trains, beautiful surroundings, great host....what more could you want. And a sauna!

I was welcomed in Ayla's lovely home which is nestled in a wooded, relaxing and tranquil area. Ayla is a very good hostess, and made me feel right at home. She is a gourmet cook and sometimes shares her delicious food with her guests. Armonk is strategically located; it has easy access to highways, and is on the border of Connecticut. I highly recommend this place.

Ayla was the best host I have never met. I checked out late because my flight had delay she prepare for me a wonderful snack/dinner. The room was clean and gorgeous with a nice view to the trees. I highly recommend to stay at Ayla's house if you want to stay quite but close to the center. She worthies the Super Host prize!

I stayed here for a month and enjoyed it. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. There is ample parking since the driveway is so large. The home is clean and luxurious. The hosts were very nice and welcoming and responded to my needs rapidly. They even invited me to go sailing with them on a large yacht! The cell phone reception isn't great inside the building if you have AT&T, but it works well on the street. Overall, it's a great place and I would stay here again.

From day one, this cottage felt like our home. It is incredibly well-equipped with a worldly yet homey vibe; however, not personalized to the extent that you feel you're living someone else's life. You're walking distance to Metro North and ~50min trip to Grand Central, but also steps away from a lovely, quiet garden that is perfect for summer grilling and afternoon cocktails surrounded by birds, squirrels and the occasional deer. Elizabeth is incredibly gracious, responsive and accommodating. Five stars!

Elizabeth was very helpful. It definitely exceeded any expectations to help me with questions before I even notice that was going to need. The place itself is cozy, very nice for a family with up to four people. The neighborhood is very safe in all respects. We love it!

The Sugar Shack is absolutely charming! Having reached the end of my rope with construction outside my NYC apartment, I booked Elizabeth's place looking for a quiet place to write and recuperate after a trying year. I couldn't have picked a better place! Decorated in the 'shabby chic' style this quirky cottage has a wonderful feel about it and is really relaxing and comfortable. I am very picky about beds and Elizabeth's was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! Plus, her kitchen was stocked with every tool you'd need (including a salad spinner!). Nestled at the end of a long drive way off a suburban street, the small yard has the feel of being in the woods - we saw possums, swallow tails, cardinals, chipmunks and lots of bunnies! I was without a car during the week but Fresh Direct delivers to Chappaqua and it is just a 5 minute walk to 3 decent restaurants, a Wellness center (where you can get a great massage) and a small shopping center--as well as just 15 minutes to town. On the weekends when I had a car, my husband and I explored the many beautiful parks in the area from Stone Barns to Rockwood Hall. It was a long stay and a few minor issues and questions came up- Despite being far away, Elizabeth was an incredibly responsive and concerned host and addressed all my concerns right away. This is a great spot for a couple or family with small children. I can't wait to go back!

Elizabeth was very welcoming and communicative - all the house information was well-organized and she kept in touch to ensure that everything was going smoothly. The house is cozy and cute - Elizabeth has great style. The location is perfect - very central to everything in Westchester while also being somewhat rural. Our kids loved seeing a family of deer visit the yard. We had a great stay!

Elizabeth meet us the morning we arrived. She was very friendly and the house was clean and tidy when we arrived. The home is set back off the road so you cant here your neighbors or cars going up and down the road. With that setting, the wild life that makes it way through the yard was very awesome for my boys to see. Deer coming right in the yard and eating with the squirrels. Even the ocasional raccoon would pass by. You are close enough to places to eat and shop. I would stay here again if I get the chance to again.

As this was our first Airbnb experience, we were a little apprehensive but this whole experience has been fabulous! Our host Elizabeth was in contact with us throughout the whole experience. Her home was as described and so peaceful and clean. We walked to town and restaurants several times, about a 20 minute walk with so much to see along the way! Elizabeth's home ("The Sugar Shack") is very well-equipped and absolutely lovely - the pictures don't really do it justice. The town is adorable with a great farmer's market on Sat., cute shops, and a very easy commute to NYC, which my husband did daily. The yard is a little sanctuary set far back from the road, which is great if you have kids like us and just want to hang out and BBQ in the yard. There's so much to see and do nearby from local farms to shopping. Finally, Elizabeth is awesome - a very responsive and gracious host with impeccable taste. She went well out of her way to ensure we had a great stay and had everything we needed. Highly recommended for small families, couples, or anyone looking for nice getaway!

Our one night getaway at Matt's barn was such a treat. Matt and Anne are lovely hosts, and they make you feel as if you are visiting friends. The barn is a true upstate treasure, and such an easy drive from NYC. We had the indoor fireplace roaring the whole stay, and the flexible check in/out really does enhance your experience there. The grounds are idyllic and Matt lead us to a beautiful local hike which we very much enjoyed. We had 3 couples there for the night and it was very comfortable. We are definitely going to be back to visit this lovely place!

We had the best time staying here! 2 couples and a puppy spent 2 full days and a night exploring the area and sitting by the outdoor fireplace. The barn is incredibly cozy and comfortable, and feels much more like a large rustic cabin than a barn. You can tell it was recently renovated and the renovations were done very well. The host was out of town during our stay, but provided an information sheet telling us where some of the non-obvious light switches were, which channels were the premium channels on the TV, some advice about the fireplace, etc. He also provided us with a coffee maker, some coffee, and some milk for morning, which we didn't wind up using, but it was a very thoughtful gesture. We were only staying for one night as a stopover on our way further upstate, but it was definitely worth it for the 4 of us. We relaxed by the outdoor fireplace with some drinks, and the weather was just perfect as we watched the embers from the fire fade away. It was a great retreat for our guys weekend away, definitely one of the highlights, and we'd definitely consider coming back.

The house is a real beaut -- beautiful design and cozy setting. We got a lot of mileage out of the indoor fireplace and spent each night huddled around sipping warm bevs under blankets. 10/10. I felt like I was in an oil painting.

The barn looks as pictured, is very thoughtfully done and really nice and cozy! We loved gathering around the living room fireplace and one guest made great use of the raised reading nook. The large table was a great spot for us to gather for meals and coffee also. Matt, the host, had everything prepared for us - lots of firewood, fresh towels and sheets, etc. He was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is really nice - close to hiking and still just an hour outside the city. If you plan to primarily dine out, there are good restaurants nearby (inn at pound ridge). If you plan to cook in the country (as we did), the one thing to be aware of is there is no kitchen. There is a small bar area with a bar refrigerator. There is also an electric hotplate with two surfaces, but no oven or kitchen sink, dishwasher, etc. There are no counters, so there is no place to prep food except the table. The patio grill is great, but the setup made it challenging to prep and cook food and clean dishes afterward. Matt helped us by bringing the dishes to the main house to wash in the dishwasher after we made lunch. We enjoyed our visit to Mt. Kisco and our stay at the barn!

Matt was hospitable and friendly. He was very pleasant to work with overall and was very accommodating to our needs. We had a group of people who stayed and he even brought us milk and mugs in the morning for coffee. The barn was exactly like the pictures- in fact, there was more space than I thought there would be. Overall I would stay here again and recommend this place to all looking for a calm, relaxing getaway in the woods. My stay was during the summer and I can only imagine this place would be great in the fall/winter with the outdoor fireplace!

We enjoyed our stay at Russi's place in Armonk. The space is located in the basement of a beautiful house with a lovely yard. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there is a nice kitchen space for cooking. The sauna is a nice treat after the end of a long day. Russi was very easy to communicate with, greeted us when we arrived, and answered any questions we had. We would recommend his place for anyone visiting the Armonk/Westchester area.

Steven's place is awesome. His set-up in the lower level of his house is perfect for Airbnb -separate from the host residence with nice bathroom and kitchenette area. Bed is comfy and room is quiet. Bathroom and kitchenette are shared with other Airbnb guest. Street parking was always available right in front if the house. Super convenient to Metro North and Saw Mill Parkway. Steven is so friendly and made sure I had what I needed.

Very nice room, Steve was busy with his son's graduation but he still kept the room clean and prepared; he also suggested nearby restaurants, and it helped me a lot also. Pleasantville was such a nice place that I enjoyed walking around so much. Overall very nice room in absolutely beautiful location.

Steven was such an awesome host! The space- Everything was exactly like the pictures and descriptions, the space was very clean and had bountiful amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, an assortment of facial washes and lotions, bottled water in a fridge you can use, coffee with cream and every type of sweetener, an assortment of dishes glasses and silverware for longer travelers, and so much more. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the place especially for the killer price. Also- the bed and pillows were so comfy! Location- I was in town for a job shadow, but also wanted to see New York City. Steven's place was within walking distance to the train station that takes you right to Grand Central for $20 round trip, and was also close enough where I could drive for my business meetings. Not to mention, the town itself has an awesome farmers market, plentiful coffee spots and restaurants, and shopping for those looking for a nice small town feel. Everything was within walking distance. The host- Steven was waiting for us when we arrived late. He was there to greet us, show us to our room, and let us get settled in. He even invited us upstairs afterward to sit with him and his lovely girlfriend and gave us the run down on the best things to do in the city since we were only able to stay one day. I was so grateful for his hospitality. Anytime you are in the area, I would recommend checking this place out. We will definitely be back!!

This is one of the most immaculate and well-appointed apartments I have the pleasure of living in. While I never expect my host to provide food, Les's well-stocked refrigerator was a pleasant surprise. Plus, Les was always available and seemed to have anything I needed at his fingertips. I hope to be able to stay again when I am in the Southern CT/NY area.

I absolutely loved this place. Aside from being spotless, the design and layout are a great mix of modern and cozy. It is a very relaxing environment and the host are very thoughtful. Ivone had a friend there to great us for she was out of town. She also had a lockbox if her friend was not available, which I thought was a brilliant idea. The house is close enough to NYC that we took a train in and far enough to avoid NYC traffic. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Ivone to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Our daughter lives on campus at New York Medical College and we needed a place close to stay. This was the perfect place! The host made us feel at home. Ivone is lovely, welcoming, and does an excellent job at making you feel comfortable in her home. She provided snacks and fruit and opened up her kitchen to us. We enjoyed freshly brewed coffee every morning. The neighborhood is quiet and has lots of parking. Easy to find and close to public transportation. We would definitely stay here again.

Ivone's house has all that an AirBnB needs. It's neat, organized, cozy, and near public transportation (Metro North). We stayed there a full month, and definitely felt at home. Plus, Ivone was not only a great host, but a very positive influence to my family, with her healthy way of living her life. After a week we were all eating better, drinking lots of water and planning on doing more exercises - the latter is still just an intention, but we promise we will go for it, Ivone! Thanks for all!

Ivone is a generous and flexible host who maintains a clean, beautiful home. Her house is well situated in the village of Hawthorne, close to the train station and some restaurants and shops. Her dog and cat are lovely, and extremely quiet and friendly. No barking issues at all. We would definitely return again.

This is a great place to stay, with all the laundry done for you...great for a guy staying on his own. You can walk to Hawthorne Station (10 minutes, but the hill back is a little steep for those who have difficulty walking) which is great for getting into NYC. There are no real food shops within walking distance apart from a Deli, so you really need a car here. Train to NYC $13.50 peak each way, coffee sold at the station. Ivone keeps the house very clean and tidy, there is a large TV with cable and Netflix, a very friendly cat and dog.

Ivone's house was in a great location for many of our weekend activities - visiting a nearby business, enjoying local restaurants, breweries, State Parks, Blue Hill at the Stone Barns, and events in Sleepy Hollow. The neighborhood is quiet and we slept well. We also enjoyed conversing with Ivone. She was very sweet and offered to start a fire for us while we cuddled with her dog - a perfect Saturday evening for us. Would stay here again if we're in the area.

It is safe and best place for someone who wants to be in NY yet wants to stay away from the busy streets. My host Ivone made my stay super comfortable - she arranged all the things for me to make my stay comfortable, she gave me complete privacy on the other hand. Her house is near to train station to Grand Central/White Plains. Ivone is an excellent host and she keeps her house in excellent condition.
