The host was friendly and welcoming when we communicated by text, which is how we got the key from the lockbox. The neighborhood was interesting, with a few antique stores and restaurants.

Bug cemetery. There was a huge pile of dead bugs on the nightstand next to the bed and scattered throughout the room. Dirty comforter and mattress - comforter and sheets both had white stains on them. The sheets would not stay on the bed. They kept sliding off. Which is not good when you're able to see the condition of the mattress underneath. Beer cans - there was literally a mountain of empty beer cans in the the kitchen cabinets. Never seen anything like it. Misc weird gross furniture - there was no rhyme or reason to the furniture. For example - broken mirror taped together with hot pink duct tape. Clothes dresser with drawer missing. Shelves with a layer of dust. Dirty hang out table. And just a hodgepodge of other misc rickety furniture. Bathroom

The place was really nice & clean although we arrived before cleaning. We made lots of little friends, everyone was very friendly.

The basement room was very private and cozy! The refrigerator and bathroom were also downstairs. It was really convenient! Location was great, too! It was only 10 min away from downtown! Being a korean, I loved the fact that the Korean market (Hmart) and few korean restaurants were super close! (10 min!)

Al was very communicative, and the process of moving in and out was straightforward. For the money, this is a fantastic place to stay if you don't mind being a little outside of Baltimore proper. It's a fairly quiet spot and you can walk down the road a bit to shops, bars, etc if you want a little life. The apartment is as it looks, very spacious basement apartment. Good quality, private, though you do need to enter through the main door. An enjoyable stay.

Having Al as a host was wonderful! I had a hard time finding a place to stay until I contacted Al. He responds in a timely manner and is very polite. Getting into his apartment was a breeze. He made sure to leave some extra towels/water bottles and the sheets were freshly washed! Al was also very helpful and was there when I had any questions at any time. I would definitely recommend staying with Al anytime of the week. If you're near the Baltimore area and have the opportunity to have Al as a host, take it!

This was my first Airbnb experience, and I was lucky to have Al as my host, as he was available to answer my initial barrage of questions. The room was extremely large and comfortable, although the TV didn't work (which is not a bad thing unless you're addicted, like me). However, there was cable TV and Internet access upstairs, which I was welcome to use. Clean, well-stocked kitchen with a Keurig, so take coffee pods. I loved the location; parking was a breeze! I'd be comfortable staying there on a long-term basis if the need arose.

We had a great time at Brigitte's place: the apartment was exactly as portrayed on Airbnb - very clean and with everything we needed. Brigitte was very helpful, just a phone call away whenever i had a question. She went out of her way to help us out when we needed an iron on short notice. The location was ideal for us - quiet neighborhood, old houses in spacious lots but also 5 mins away from grocery stores, etc.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely month-long stay in Brigitte's apartment. The space is clean and comfortable, parking is a breeze, and Brigitte left us a gorgeous little tree for holiday decoration! Communication was excellent and Brigitte was extremely quick at responding and following through when we had any questions about the space. We would absolutely stay here again, we highly recommend Brigitte as a host!

Brigitte's apartment was accurately represented. I stayed in the unit for three months as I was in Baltimore for work. The location is great with an easy commute to downtown Baltimore, but also close to the interstate. Brigitte was always available and communicated well throughout my stay. She checked in a few times to ensure I had the things I needed. I would stay here again as would highly recommend it.

This is the second time I have stayed with Brigitte and it was just as wonderful the second time. She checked in on occasian to see if I needed anything. I stayed for 6 weeks this time and I loved that I almost never ran into any other people staying there. I felt like I had the whole place to myself. It was very nice and relaxing and had everything that I needed. Thanks again, for such a nice place to stay

Brigitte was a wonderful host; unfortunately I never met her in person, but she was very communicative and attentive via phone and text. She called to introduce herself and even checked in on me periodically to see if everything was ok. The apartment was clean, cozy, and peaceful, and the morning light is delightful to wake up to; it was a very nice relaxing retreat from the tasks that brought me to the city. The house has a parking area adjacent to the main entrance which was very convenient and I didn't have to find off-street parking when I returned in the evening; Brigitte even had breakfast treats, clementines, various sweets, and beverages on-hand. I had a lovely stay and will definitely return in the future.

Brigitte was a great host. She made sure the place was as expected and that I was very comfortable. This is an awesome unit for an extended stay with all the convenience of home.

The Accommodations and host were great

I would like to say that Michael was a great host. The place is private. When i walked in i was like omg its beautiful. The place had everything such as Plates, Smart TV, Cups, Silverware, pots, pans, cleaning supplies, towels, shower curtain, pillows, comforter set, candles, and etc. All i had to bring was food, and clothes. Micheal gave me access to the heat via an app which gives me access to control the heat in case i am cold. Parking was wonderful i could park right next to the door. Michael accommodated all of my request. Not only was Michael accommodating but he has great conversation as well. Beyond being a host Michael became a very good friend during my stay. I will definitely stay again. The place was quiet private and great for my college studies. Also the wifi was great. Michael was a great super host Thank you Michael

This apartment space in Baltimore is a wonderful place to stay if you need to be in the greater D.C. or Baltimore area. Our little group of three people used it for an extended weekend in D.C. when there were not many affordable places in D.C. It was a quick and easy drive to D.C. from where the apartment is located in Baltimore and the price is right. The space was totally clean, equipped with all new fresh linens and bedding, had an iron and all needed kitchen supplies, full fridge, modern clean bathroom, "smart TV", and excellent wifi. It had a private entrance and nearby street parking. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Michael is a fantastic host who was in great communication leading up to our trip and during our stay. He provided tips on traffic and weather, provided us snacks, and accommodated our very late arrival time by leaving us a key in a lockbox. This apartment is an excellent value and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in this area affordably with all the amenities of a real apartment. Thank you, Michael!

I stayed here for 3 months and it was great. The host Michael was friendly and very helpful. The apartment is equipped for a short or long stay. The wifi was reliable which was a big deal for me. I had a great stay and I would absolutely recommend this apartment for anyone considering visiting Baltimore.

Great place. Second time staying in Michael's studio apartment and it was awesome. A bit noisy coming from the upstairs and you can hear footsteps over your head (studio apartment is below his living space). Provided water and snacks for me, wi-fi strong and reliable, ample street parking. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Michael.

5***** all around for Michael! Greeted me when I arrived, and made sure I got settled. Had snacks, and beverages stocked in the fridge for me as well, which was a welcomed and pleasant touch. The apartment is a studio that looks to have recently been remodeled. Everything is new, and clean and functioning. Ran out to get me a TV as he mentioned the old one went out the day before. Came back, programmed the TV and hooked it up for me with no issue! I will definitely be back to this place soon! Thanks Michael!

I had a wonderful stay at Shemika's studio. Shemika and her husband were very welcoming and were able to accommodate an earlier check in time as my cousin and I had arrived in Baltimore earlier than expected. The studio was quite large with a kitchen included and the whole unit was very clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking to visit Baltimore.

Shemika was very quick to respond to all of my messages and John got up at 2 AM to help us check in which was extremely kind being that they do not live in the direct area. The studio was private and comfortable; we enjoyed our stay!

This place is very clean and spacious! Shemika and her husband were very nice and easy to communicate with. My boyfriend and I hit a lot of traffic on the way there, and ended up coming after the check in time but they were very accommodating. Very close to the aquarium and the zoo! Great place to stay.

What a great place to stay. Was her first almost 2 months doing medical school electives and really enjoyed my time here. Shemika was very helpful to any requests and made our stay very comfortable.

The price was right and the place was pretty big, and in a convenient location. Enayet was a great host who checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay (even though he was having a busy holiday weekend!) Only complaint is that the place smelled like smoke - I would not recommend staying here if that is a problem for you. We made it work by opening everything up and letting in some fresh air. Sparsely furnished (as advertised), but has everything you would need for a basic overnight, including linens and wifi.

Enayet was great with a flexible check in and check out. His place was very convenient and quiet. His apartment was as advertised, kind of like a place a bachelor has recently moved in to. As long as you're looking for a safe, quiet place to rest you'll be fine, just don't expect much more.

Enayet was very friendly and accommodating with the check in process and contacted me throughout the stay to make sure everything was okay. The apartment was a basic bachelor pad. No cable, no dinning room table, an air mattress in the spare room and not so clean. We didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment, so not having the amenities was fine for us, although I would highly recommend hiring a professional cleaner. We found popsicle sticks and dirt in between the couch cushions, the bathrooms were filthy (I ended up cleaning the bathroom before I used it) and there were ants everywhere. But like I said before, we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment, so it wasn't too much of a problem. The area was very safe, a dunk and donuts on the corner and a walmart down the street.

Enayet was very accommodating to our late arrival. The condo was as described and pictured. Great location, we were able to walk to get breakfast and able to eaisly use lyft and Uber to get in and out of Baltimore with very little wait time. Enayet checked in with us and was available if we had needed him. Overall a great experience!

Enayet welcomed us and showed us around when we arrived. He was very flexible on both check-in and check-out times, which was very helpful on this trip. The condo was as advertised -- spacious, but with minimal furnishings. My husband summed it up perfectly: "If you want clean, this is the place for you! If you want fancy, find another place!" And I would choose clean over fancy any day of the week! In addition to the cleanliness of the condo, we really appreciated Enayet's warm hospitality and his eagerness to do whatever he could to make our stay comfortable. For example, we mentioned that we were disappointed to find there was no coffee pot in the unit, and a couple of hours later, Enayet had delivered a coffee pot! The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming -- people walking their dogs wave and smiled -- and we easily found stores and a church. Enayet has basic cable, but the reception is not good. However, his internet connection is excellent! If you plan to do a lot of cooking, you might want to bring some basic items with you (colander, can-opener, etc. -- ask what is there before coming). If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, and a welcoming host, we recommend you consider Enayet's condo!

We enjoyed our stay! I enjoy older style homes and this apartment definitely has that charm. The only negative that I have would be it wasn't very clean; it was quite dusty and there were quite a few cobwebs. Considering the age and charm of the house, it wasn't unbearable.

Brigitte is a pleasure to deal with. We rented with her long-term so my husband could be in school while I found a job in Baltimore, and we were there from September to December. She and her husband Paul fixed problems immediately, and when I forgot my keys at work and had to leave the state before Thanksgiving, she was able to get me an extra set of keys without making a big fuss about it--very much appreciated. The place is charming, in a great location, and well appointed for a little temporary place. We were very happy there for a short-term visit. Thanks, Brigitte and Paul!

Brigitte was awesome to work with, and the place was adorable! We liked it so much we're reserving it for the next few months until we find a place to stay in Baltimore while my fiancee goes to school at UMBC. The bed was comfortable (and with the air conditioner in the room, very cool and quiet), the kitchen is small but user-friendly, the fridge is full-sized, and we loved the 50's modern furniture. The high ceilings make it feel very spacious, and the windows are nice and big and let in lots of light. Bathroom is cute and easy to navigate around. It was just perfect for our needs, convenient, well-maintained, and Ten Hills is a charming little neighborhood. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time staying with Brigitte. My trip lasted for about 4 months from January until may and it was the perfect home-base the whole time. One of the biggest snowstorms in recent years happened while I was there and Brigitte and her husband were there as soon as they possibly could be to dig us out, just in time for me to be able to get to work, which was so helpful. They also provided salt and shovels so that I could be a little more self sufficient but brought out a plow to do the driveway when it was needed. Really, whenever I had issues a quick call was all that was needed to resolve it, no problems and with a smile! The pictures perfectly represent the apartment. In the bedroom, the bed and pillows are comfortable and while the tv in the bedroom is small there are plenty of cable channels to choose from! There are also two big closets with lots of hangers. The kitchen/living room, a nice sized bar-height table to eat dinners at, and petite appliances in the little kitchen so I could still cook plenty of meals at home. Also another tv if you watch it while you eat like me! Everything is very comfortably mid-century modern and it's a cute little apartment that was definitely more than enough space for me during my stay! I really couldn't have asked for more, it was the perfect place for my needs, I couldn't recommend staying with Brigitte more!

Bridgette, made us feel welcomed and her house and apartments were perfect for a large graduation party event we had. The porch was big enough for many of us to gather, eat and drink while all of the teenagers went to the large front yard where we had tent and tables. Amazing area, property and location. We will be back to Baltimore and book the whole house. anna

Dot and Don are great hosts, very friendly, and make you feel very welcome right from the start. They respond immediately to any concerns. The place is super clean and well furnished. The kitchen is very nice, with a great gas stove and beautiful cherry cabinets. The bathroom is very nice. The living room has a gas fireplace which is a welcome addition for ambiance and comfort. I especially loved the electric recliner next to the double windows with a view of the trees behind the lot. I did all my reading there. There is very good parking.

Our host returned purposely working to welcome us. By cons we did not see him after. Our room was fine, but the food littered with dirty dishes and remained unchanged during our stay. There was not really a place to eat breakfast.

host, was very nice. She allowed me to enter her home as a guest but, treated me as if i was family. Her warm heart and loving care made my 2 night stay well worth it. Her home is very well kept, with decent facilities. Parking in her complex was a walk in the park as i was able to leave my work vehicle unattended with out any break-ins. We came to Baltimore for a friends wedding and chose to use Airbnb for the first time. Due to crazy traffic our arrival time kept changing, but Sherese was flexible and with the check-in system it was easy. Although our stay was quite short, it was good. Sherese is quite hospitable and her place is much better value than a hotel. Good first Airbnb!

Very comfortable stay for our overnight trip to Baltimore. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with coordinating our check-in and with the questions we had. Also I really appreciated the breakfast/kitchen and bathroom amenities that were available – definitely a nice touch. Parking out front on the street was also very easy with no permit restrictions (only some street cleaning restrictions that didn't impact us at all).

Amanda's apartment connected to her home is very nice and the amenities of having a full kitchen was great for our stay! Whenever we had any questions or concerns Amanda was very accommodating and even helped one of our friends print off their boarding passes so that they would not be charged at the airport. A tip would be to make sure to read the house rules before your stay!

I was very a skeptical with my first time with Airbnb, but I cannot be thankful enough to have had my experience with such a great host, Amanda! I was very picky when searching because I needed a place where my parents from overseas had to rest/relax, but I cannot emphasize enough how clean Amanda's place was and also had everything we needed (cooking, cleaning, furniture, and a Roku TV) I mean EVERYTHING! She was very responsive when we had any questions about the place. Also, the place was 2 mins drive away from the Patapsco Park- a great trail/walk in the morning for some crisp/fresh air! I am definitely returning to Amanda if I have any guests or my parents in the future!

This was my very first time booking thru airbnb, so of course, I was a little nervous, however Amanda made me feel very comfortable about the rental process. Amanda was able to answer all of my questions, and this made me feel at ease with renting her place. Amanda's place was perfect for my family. It was absolutely beautiful, nestled away in a wooded, secure, suburban area. My family and I especially loved the beautiful artwork! ( my family loves art so much that my 14 year old just had her birthday party at the Metropolitan Art Museum where we are from!) So, being surrounded by so much wonderful artwork was a treat! The home is identical to the pictures, super clean, very private, and very easy to find. We loved the Roku in which we have in our own home, and the wifi connection was strong. I loved Amanda's attention to detail, she absolutely thought of everything. While vacationing, I always purchase my own cleaning products because of my daughter's sensitive skin( eczema). I attempted to find Mrs.Meyers organic cleaning products, but couldn't and had to settle for spic-n-span. As I was about to clean up after my children, I realized that Amanda already had organic cleaning products!! I absolutely loved the organic fragrance free hand soaps, and cleaning products! I cooked every morning with her top of the line cookware and utensils, I love to cook, and I recognize quality cookware and utensils and Amanda had them! Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I'm so happy that we were able to enjoy our Baltimore/ DC visit in a beautiful, comfortable dwelling! Thanks Amanda for a wonderful stay!

Darren was a sweet host and the private room was worth the value. This was my first time using a shared space so I will admit I was uncomfortable not knowing if someone else was in the home. The neighborhood was nice and close enough to everything we wanted to explore. (By car). Some concerns I had were the cleanliness of the bathroom and that the wifi was not available during our trip. Also, perhaps due to a glitch in the system, I did not receive check-in or check-out instructions so I had to reach out to the host to ask questions. I wonder if I had not reached out, if or when he would have communicated the information. Overall, the bed was comfortable, we felt safe and had a great time in Baltimore.

Absolutely wonderful!! Nikki's place was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. The apartment is quaint and nicely decorated. We were in town for an Oriole's game and it is less than 2 minutes walking to Camden yards. It's also a short trip downtown and still nice and quiet even on nights with baseball games.
