After a day touring the city, make an espresso coffee, stick on Netflix and stretch out in front of the wood-burning stove in this cosy cottage. Sleep in comfort with the finest high-quality bed linen and a great selection of books to curl up with. Venture outdoors to relax on the patio at the bistro table in the hidden, leafy garden.
Stroll to the Guinness Storehouse just 1km away. Return via The Museum of Modern Art and its beautiful gardens. Wander up to The Patriots Inn for a pizza and a drink or walk around the corner to the wonderful Union 8 restaurant.
“Relaxing with Netflix and warming your feet in front of a traditional Irish wood buring stove rocks!”

Kilmainham, County Dublin, Ireland

The cottage is in Kilmainham, one of the most historical districts in Dublin. Kilmainham Gaol was built in 1796, and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham was built in 1680. It now houses the Museum of Modern Art. Both are 700 metres from the cottage. The area is like a piece of countryside in the city.
The Guinness Storehouse is 1 km from the cottage. The Phoenix Park is the largest urban park in Europe and is just 2.3 km form the cottage.
Just 7 minutes walk from regular tram and bus route to city.

I think I am friendly and relaxed. I love good red wine. I have lived in London, Paris and San Francisco at different stages of my life. I grew up and live in Dublin. I really love Dublin: the people, its size, its location to the sea and mountains, its history, its pubs, its safety, its lack of pollution compared to big cities and its mild climate. My Favourite books include In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, Germinal by Zola, Stoner by John Williams, The Son by Philipp Meyer and Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel . I adore music: Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield and Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone. Einaudi , Bruce, James Vincent and so on. My favourite cities are Bologna, Rome, Paris, San Francisco, Sydney. I adore the island of Corsica. If I am not working or communicating with guests on Airbnb, I am probably walking the dog on some hill or by some river or pushing my daughters to practice the drums or do some study. My favourite box sets include The Wire, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Treme and Dead Wood. My favourite movie is Amarcord by Fellini. I have travelled as a guest on Airbnb to Paris, Bordeaux and Lakes in Ireland. I love playing football, swimming or kayaking in the sea, walking in the countryside and relaxing with family or friends.
