A converted Grade II listed former church hall with plenty of space and lots of character and quirky nooks and crannies. Centrally located in the heart of lovely Frome, just seconds walk from the cobbled street of Catherine Hill.
Welcome to my home!
A first floor apartment in a Grade II listed former church, consisting of two big double bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen and living area. Surprisingly cosy and peacefully quiet; a beautiful place to be based for exploring all Frome and the surrounding area has to offer. Relax in the evenings in the wonderfully social living area, or enjoy a glass of wine before wandering into the town to sample the delights on offer from the wide range of independent restaurants, bars and cafes.
The first room is situated at the front of the house and offers a double bed on a mezzanine style lay out in a spacious, light and airy room, with the original exposed beams and church windows.
The second bedroom is to the rear of the apartment with high ceilings and large windows, decorated in a more cosy style, offering a king sized bed and en-suite shower room. There is also a separate bathroom with bath.
The main living area consists of a open plan kitchen, perfect for cooking and socialising. There are beautiful views from the kitchen out across the Mendips and across to the White Horse. In the room there is also a 6 seater dining room table and large hand made corner sofa (which might just be one of the most comfortable sofas I've ever sat on!).
A 32 inch TV with Virgin Media channels and Netflix and wifi are also available in the living area. There is under floor heating throughout the property.
All bedding and towels are provided and should you need anything extra, please just let me know, and I'll do my best to arrange it.
Access to the entire 2 bedroom apartment.
Interaction with guests
Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions you may have. As much as possible, I will be there to meet you at the beginning of your stay to answer any questions and let you know where all the important bits are. If you have any questions throughout your stay, I'll be easily contactable and either myself or someone will be on hand if needed.
Other things to note
Parking is on street, directly outside of the property. As the listing says, this is my home, so although everything will be tidied away and very clean, I will still have belongings in the apartment.
The front bedroom doesn't have an en-suite bathroom at the moment (though one day this is something I'd love to install!) so it's worth noting that there is some distance between that room and the nearest bathroom, as the main room is in between.
There are also two steps down from the main room to the back bedroom and bathrooms, which are open and may not be ideal if you have really small children.
This is my home, so please respect the space and my belongings. Many of the items in there are things I have made myself and hold sentimental value. If something gets broken, please just let me know. More often than not it won't be any issue and can be easily rectified.
Please be mindful of my neighbours. This is a first floor apartment and the apartment below is someones home and so my place would not be suitable for groups who might be loud for long periods of time, particularly late at night.
I'm happy to leave my home internet available, TV channels and Netflix, but please don't abuse with excessive downloading or pay-per-view movies which I may incur additional charges for.
I'm not a smoker, so please no smoking in the apartment.
